Sadly, Brutus suffered from a fast moving cancer and was given a peaceful ending on June 11, 2017. We will miss out little guy very much.

Have I really spent a year in my furever home? I'm used to my new name, Rocky (full name Rocky Raccoon), and I love my Meowm and Paw, even if they can't grasp the obvious fact that all movable objects are really cat toys. I love playing with my brothers (sometimes they don't think of it as playing), but they're not Meezers like me, so I'm clearly the alpha cat in the family. My favorite activity is galloping the length of the house for no reason at all, often in the middle of the night. In warm weather I also like sitting on the deck. I just wish that pesky screen didn't prevent me from catching birds. All in all, I think I have a pretty good life, and my vet says I'm in good health. Thanks to my foster Meowm Michelle and everyone at the Rescue Center who helped to make it possible.

Life at my new home is GREAT! I love it here. I am still learning all the rules & that I should not bit the resident cat, Cody's neck! But I just what to play with her. I have gained 2.5 pounds since my arrival & my health is excellent. Yogurt sure helped me in a hurry! I love it. Merry Christmas everyone!
8/1/14 HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I have been in my home for a year now. I have a daily routine my Mom & Dad follow. Cody & I play & chase each other. Things couldn't be BETTER! Dr. Steve says I am beautiful & very healthy. I couldn't have found a better home here. I have Dad wrapped around my big paw!
Tahiti is very active & vocal. She is loads of fun to watch & likes to be part of your life. She is a great cat!
Tahiti is a great cat!. We are lucky to have her. She is still jealous of Miss Dakota but they get along. She LOVES her dad the most.She is always by is side. She thinks she is the queen of her castle.

Notes from Home
Quincy has fully integrated into my chaotic household. She and Dina are now best friends. They play for hours on end and then curl up together to nap. When she went to the vet this past monday for her shot and staple removal they found her ears full of yuck. So she is now on ear medicine that she hates. Hopefully she will be cleared up soon. she gets her last shot on the 31st of this month. She is otherwise happy and healthy. She is such a lover that she has become my Dad's favorite!
Quincy is now getting darker and roaming the house with chasing all the other cats and even playing with my little dogs. She really likes them because she is now their size! She loves to rub up against their faces and purr. She is way more confident of who she is at this point than when she came to be with us. She loves to purr and play. She sleeps next to me at night and wakes me with her purring in the morning. She is just a wonderful cat and we love her so much!
Wow it's been a YEAR now! Seems like just a short time ago that Quin came home. She is now more comfortable with strangers, though we still call her the ghost cat cause when people come over she disappears. If you get a sighting of her, you are very lucky. Though once you are here for a while she warms right up to you. She is funny with my Westies cause she loves to rub all over them and they look at me like What the heck is she doing to me? We just lover her. She is especially close with my young ones and her sister Renny. They sleep all piled up on top of each other in the morning. She demands her cream in the morning too. If I forget, boy do I hear about it. I wish we could rescue every cat you had cause Quinny is the best!
Two years in and Quin is still a doll. She still stands on my chest at night and demands to be pet. She has the loudest purr, almost as loud as my 17 year old cat Pixie. She still wants her dollop of cream in the morning. Couldn't have asked for a better cat to rescue thank you everyone who had a hand in the process!!!

Cream is a big(!) boy, and though not as kissy as Cookie, he's affectionate and lets us pick him up and hold him. Like a dog, he's always looking for his mom (Luluk) and sister, and sleeps on Alyssa's bed (and pretty much anywhere else, soundly). He's very sweet and cuddly for such a big kitten.
He does have some strange DAILY habits we'd like to understand and possibly fix assuming there are remedies: 1) He does not cover his litter box poop. Though he seems to try, he scratches around the box instead, and Cookie winds up waiting for him and covering it afterwards (not fair). 2) Cream always finds objects (small toys and hair bands) to put in his water dish or their water fountain. It's just strange. Any ideas?
Is there a way to have the record name changed to just Cream (instead of Adorable Kirk, etc.)?

Cookie is doing well. She is still a small cat (compared to her brother Cream) but very sweet, and still curious, brave, and strong. She's compensating for her status as runt of the litter we think, but thriving and enjoying her home and everyone around her. She also takes care of her brother, to whom she remains very attached. She is also his litter box maid / mother, and that's strange. See our write up on Cream, who's a little mischievous but loved all the same.
The only area of concern about Cookie is that she is very finicky about wet food. To this day, we have not been able to identify the brand or flavor that she prefers. She and Cream prefer dry food.
Is there a way to have the record name changed to just Cookie (instead of Previous Marsha, etc.)?
