CHARLOTTE
Hi, I'm Charlotte! No I'm not a spider who writes stuff in webs! I'm glad to be out of the shelter. That was a scary place and little chilly. I'm in a nice comfortable playpen now, in a cozy room. I have a soft, fluffy round bed that I really like to make biscuits in. I actually like to make biscuits everywhere.
My new Meom is still getting to know me. I like when she picks me up and cuddles me. It's very comforting. I haven't felt like playing yet. I have to decide which toys I like best. There's lots to choose from.
So check back soon when Meom ads more news about me.
7/4/13
Happy Fourth of July!! I'm really enjoying this new Meezer hotel. There's some toys here for recreation and the menu is yummy. I'm a prefer fish dishes and the choices here are superb! There's plenty of time to socialize and that's my favorite thing.
Meom says she's going to find the hotel of a lifetime for me, a place where I can interact with my people pals. I love to meet new people. Yes, I'm just a bit cautious at first but I am quick to trust. Maybe you have a kitty friend for me to meet. I think I'd like to have someone to cuddle up with.
So hurry and ask about me. Meom says someone is going to love me to pieces. I'm looking forward to meeting you.
7/8/13
Now come on people, I'm rearing to go! I can't wait to move into your house. Do you have a friend for me to play with? Let's get with the program. I'm a purr machine. I love to make biscuits. I love a good petting session and an extended play session. I like feather toys and jingle balls. Do you have some of those things at your house? I'm just so looking forward to the fun we're going to have.
There is one little thing Meom says I have to get done first and that is be spayed. I don't know what she's talking about but I'm sure I'll be back in form really quick.
So get on the ball and send Meom an email! I'm waiting!
Yours purringly, Charlotte

Notes from Home
Charlotte is doing very well here. She was so scared her first few days here, I was afraid she would not bond with me. But this morning we crossed what I think of as her last hurdle and I woke up to find her in bed with me. I recently had two female cats die within weeks of each other (one was 18 and the other was found to have cancer) and was left with a lonely 6 six year old ragdoll mix who was lost without his companions. I knew I needed to get him a buddy, and that was my main criteria for selecting a cat. Several days after I had her, she escaped from her isolation room (think I did not pull the door all the way closed before going out) and I came home to find both cats sitting in my front window together. After I calmed down and was able to return her to her room, I thought well, the finding my boy a buddy part could not be going any better.

They are truly pals, and because she has unlimited energy his life has turned upside down. He was used to a lazy life with two older cats, but those days are over for now. They are chasing each other, wrestling, investigating items that could potentially become toys and having quite moments of rubbing heads and grooming each other. It is so sweet, and I cannot wait until I can post photos of my 16 pound chunky ragdoll and 7 pound petite tortie together but so far I have not gotten any good ones. I have to thank Peggy and Carol for thinking Charlotte would be the perfect buddy for Casper.

She is really sweet and affectionate to me also when she stops to rest. I am sure as she gets older she will have more quiet moments of wanting some lap time. Now it like a pit shop at a car race, a few seconds to get her ears rubbed, then full speed ahead again. But she is loving and entertaining and Casper loves her, so I could not have asked for more. Hopefully I will have photos up soon.

Charlotte is definitely feeling right at home here, and as you can see my formerly lonely boy Casper is smitten. She is a really sweet, loving cat with a ton of energy. But as the pictures show, she does like some down time for bonding with Casper and me. He tries to play with her sometimes, and it is pretty funny, because she is graceful and agile and he is quite the opposite. After our pretty stressful first week when she was terrified, escaped into my basement and I thought she would never bond with me, it makes me so happy to see her content here and I think she knows she has finally settled in for good. I think I can speak for Casper when I say I am really glad we chose her. And I am not jealous that I think she likes him more than me!

ONE YEAR UPDATE - Charlotte has settled in nicely. She is mellowing a little as time goes by, which her lazy buddy Casper is appreciating greatly. Now grooming sessions most often consist of snuggling, grooming and napping, and only occasionally end in a wrestling match. She is still obsessed with toys - I found a good deal online for a dozen foam soccer balls and when they arrived I gave her two. However, I left the bag where she could find it, and came home from work to find only two balls left in the bag. and there are now balls in every room of the house, and every now and then one of them goes bouncing off the walls or rolling under my feet. She wore out a Cat's Meow in only a month, and removed all the feathers from its replacement in less than a week. She is very upset when it needs new batteries and the wand is barely moving and supervises me changing the batteries - and there is no doubt she can't understand how it can take so long.

She is slowly getting more affectionate. She frequently gets on the couch to head butt me, and demands belly rubs as soon as I get up in the morning. She is still not patient enough to be a lap cat, but maybe someday. I am still amazed at how much she loves Casper and it makes me so happy to see them hanging out together.

18 MONTH UPDATE - Char has turned into the perfect loving cat. Tonight she was on my lap head butting and kneading and preventing me from finishing some paperwork. I said - stop being so lovable! - and I had to remember back to the early days when she was terrified of me, and I thought we would never bond. Those days are long behind us. I was grateful for small steps like not hiding for a half hour when I came home, asking to be picked up even for a short time, a few minutes of downtime next to me on the couch. Never would I have thought I would ever tell her she was too lovable. As you can see from the photos, she still loves Casper just as much as ever. I did worry for a while that she was ignoring him in favor of me, but they are still best buds. She is still the most active cat I have ever seen when she is not seeking attention from one of us. She is definitely very happy here.

2 YEAR .UPDATE: Char continues to be very happy with her buddy Casper. She still is a bundle of energy, but is maturing into a very loving girl. She is usually waiting on my bed at bedtime and demands that she gets a massage session before I even think of turning out the lights. She likes to sit on the back of the couch and head butt me. Both of these behaviors are pretty new, and I think she is on her way to behaving like she knows she has a royal namesake to emulate. If her coloring wasn't so unique I would not think she is the same cat I adopted 2 years ago. It has been very rewarding to watch her blossom.

3 YEAR UPDATE - Nothing much has changed in our lives. She is settling down and likes to sit next to me when I am watching TV or reading. She is an occassional lap sitter, but most often just likes to sit next to me. If I ignore her she will meow, then head butt and eventually give a love bite until she gets enough attention. I used to be jealous because when she would cuddle up to her brother Casper she always plopped down next to him and then wiggled her body until she was as close as possible, but now she does that with me too. I have reached the pinnacle of acceptance.

She is still extremely agile - I had a spider web with a spider in my kitchen skylight for a few days and she would be up on top of the cabinets in seconds. She would sometimes jump down directly to the tile floor and I would cringe, but she survived unscathed. Fortunately the spider only stayed a few days and she has had no reason to go back up that high anymore.. I think she is very happy and her and Casper are still best buds.

FOUR YEAR UPDATE

Char has new feline little brother who has more energy than her! Tony was a starving stray who had definitely been a housecat in the past. He fit right in from day one. Now Char has a young energetic buddy to chase and wrestle with and an older lazy one to snuggle with. Think Casper is very happy that his chasing and wrestling days are over.

Char is still wary of strangers and most guests never see her. The boys are always out and about and guests only see her in photos. My cat sitter only catches glimpses of her. But she has become very lovable with me, Because she is so little and agile, I often feel a cold nose nudging me before I even know she is nearby. If I react too slowly the nudge is followed by a love bite. Not conceivable that I might be too occupied to nuzzle a cat on two second notice! She is still addicted to her Cat's Meow toy and the glares I get when I am out of AA batteries make me feel like the world's most neglectful owner.

After 8 months of getting to know each other, Murray and I have become really bonded. He loves cuddling and he greets me at the door with meows and head butts. Murray sleeps with me frequently, and wakes me up regularly in the mornings to let me know that it's time to play! When he's in the mood, Murray is a rambunctious player and his favorite toys are moppy mice and a shoelace. He knows his name and comes when he's called. Murray truly is a gift and has charmed every person he's met, even the self-proclaimed dog lovers. ;) He's grown into quite the looker and is extremely muscular and handsome. I love being his mama and he always starts my day with a smile on my face. I can't imagine my life without him! THANK YOU, Siamese Rescue!

Listen, ladies. I know what it's like to be second fiddle in the world, and I have a secret to share. Getting tired of the run around from the male race? (Sorry guys, but it's often true!) How about switching species? Seriously - here's why:

I will always be faithful - my eyes will never stray to another.

I will always be on time for dinner - and I won't ever complain, no matter what you fix.

I will always feel like snuggling, and if you don't want to, that's okay with me too. I have my Millie bed I will bring with me.

I will always comfort you in times of sadness, patting you gently.

And money? I will always admire, never criticize, the new pair of shoes and new outfit that you splurged on. Promise!

So what do you say? How about a no conflict relationship? I'm ready to give you my heart, and promise never to take it away again!

Frau Smudge (fka Kashmir) still rules the roost. Has prime spot in front of AC vent AND on bed. She was diagnosed with kidney failure a few months ago so we are periodically giving her IV fluids and she is on a special diet. She has lost a bit of weight but remains her same happy self and purrs all the time. As good as it gets!!

Happy to report that Kashmir is doing so well after her first two weeks. She and I have negotiated the food challenges (since she has few teeth) and she has taken possession of the premises. She has become playful- particularly enjoys a good game of tag, and she loves to chase toes under the covers. Also uses her cardboard cosmiccat scratcher many times a day. Has yet to turn down a pinch of catnip. She is a gentle soul but starting to show more spunk as she gets rested and figures that she is really home. Thank you Siri, Peggy, Kay, Jeanne, Julie and Shirley!!

9.6.13: i am happy to report that Kashmir is doing well. Her personality continues to emerge from behind her initial tentative approach to her new home. She purrs ALL the time and she races around the house after some imaginary prey, jst for the fun of it. She is very accepting of new humans and gives head butts and climb-overs readily. She is starting to express her opinions daily on a number of subjects- it is great to see the changes as she comes into her own. I am so
glad she picked me.

8.10.16- well, we moved to Oregon and Smudge (fka Kashmir) is firmly in charge of her household. She lounges on her catstand where her food bowl is on the top tier so she can look out over her 5 acres and all those birds from the comfort of her dining room. She still has gum inflammation but is responding well to continued treatment. She is a happy girl who loves people and is thriving- nickname is now Frau Smudge as the matriarch who rules the roost!

MING LI
Just arrived and I had that "Spa" treatment everyone talks about. You know It really wasn't bad. Don't know why everyone complains. Well the water part wasn't fun but the nice warm towels after how nice. the manacure wasn't too bad either and the lap time with free massage. Awwwww just heaven!. I'm the new kid. On the block now but just so you know I kinda I mean really like those laps and those massages that come with lap time. I have met the other cats one is nice the other hisses but I am fine I just walk away from Hissy and made friends with the nice one. I need more of that so ask about me AndI.
P.S. I LOVE kittens so you could pick me and a kitten like Echo or Gerti and you would have a great pair.

Notes from Home
Ming Li is strikingly marked with beautiful blue eyes that penetrate into your soul, very sweet tempered, polite, tidy in her litter box, quiet, playful. Comes when I call her. Although she has been here but four days, she has completely won my heart. As Foster Mom Shirley stated, she loves anything that rolls. She also loves The Cat Sitter Video.
36 days ago I adopted Jersey/Chin (Foster Mom LaShawn from IN).
Today, four days here, Ming & Chin were introduced. Ming immediately became quietly in charge, batting & hissing at Chin when he wanted to play too close to her. Otherwise, they were quite compatable, trading back & forth on the various strings that I used for play with them. Ming was relaxed and playful, unperturbed with Chin. Very good for an initial intro.

8/22/15This petite little gal looks like she could be an stand in for the "Got Milk?' billboard as her mouth the area around her mouth looks like a cream colored moustache contrasted with Tortie Pts speckling on her face. To know Ming Li/Andi is to love her. She is so polite, grounded, quiet, balanced, loves attention & petting, happily play with her toys, eats her chosen Primal Freeze Dried Chicken & Salmon, continues to work on winning the good graces of her companion 9 yr lilac siamese companion. She respects him.remaining quietly attentive. Each time that I pet her, I just feel peaceful and grateful to have rescued her. I know why Auntie Shirley told me that she was a definite favorite at the her home.

9/21/15 "To know her is to love her" and I do more each day. Delightfully chasing her toys; continuously perching on varied window ledges to spy an insect, chipmunk, bird, etc.; scaling up to her chosen highest cat tree perch past her ''now amused buddy", 9 yr Lilac Liu Chen; affectionately checking on me regularly day and night; following me from room to room; there is but one repeated request from this wonderful little gal: "Feed me, more and often, as much Primal Freeze Dried Chicken & Salmon & Turkey as I can happily eat" (she must have a high metabolism as she can eat as much as protein as recommended for two cats without seeming to gain any extra weight). I love at her amusing, polite, affectionate behaviors day and night, and do not know how I lived without her.

4/18/16 I just love this cat!! And so does everyone else who meets her. She comes running to greet me and all visitors with high pitched mews while rolling over to present her belly for petting. Ming Li follows me everywhere, is most polite, affectionate, never exhibits her claws except to climb her Ultimate Cat Tree (Chewies.com). Ming is very playful. If it rolls she is on it. She spends her day running from one bird feeder window view to another; loves the uppermost perch of her cat tree; chases her beloved Lavender Siamese friend Liu Chen through the house, keeping the old boy up to snuff. If the patio screen or door did not block her pursuit, she would have any chipmunk that comes into close proximity. She is also Queen of Insect Patrol. Did I fail to mention that everyone comments on her unique Oriental Short Hair Tortoise shell markings & how beautiful Ming Li is?! I tell my "little Missy" daily how very blessed and happy I am to have her as my companion.

8/19/16 I continue to just love this cat. I thank you Foster Mom Shirley B. for all your suggestions and expertise. Ming is the perfect cat for me and my 11 year old male Lilac Siamese. Ming is delightful and full of joy. I repeatedly laugh at her antics: running back and forth to view all birds out assorted windows, playing with her toys, (like Shirley told me, if it rolls she chases it). This includes Liu Chen who loves it. Ming's favorite toy is her tunnel filled with assorted toys that she pushes across the floor, sending the toys and tunnel flying!! At night, Ming sleeps on a high cat tree perch to view any outside window activity. As soon as I awake, she jumps onto the bed to politely greet me and flops her body along side mine for ear and neck scratching along with numerous kisses. Ming also calms my territorial male Siamese down when he sees another cat outside the window as she simply looks and does not react so his hissing and howling ends very quickly. I must continue to monitor her eating amounts (I continue to use The Missing Link / thank you, Shirley) as she outweighs Liu Chen. My vet diagnosed Ming 6/30/16 during her one year visit as having Feline Herpes so I give her Viralys L-Lysine twice daily. My precious Ming Li is a wonderful companion. To know her is to love her.

8/10/17 Ming Li is up-to-date on all vet visits & shots. Eats Primal & Stella & Chewy's raw diet. Ming is very bonded to her buddy, 12 year old male Lilac Siamese Liu Chen. Nicknamed "Missy," Ming Li is devoted, affectionate, playful, a great insect eliminator, loved by everyone who meets her. She lives to interact with any one she can engage re: her Mylar Tassle wand or to perch on her cat trees to view the outdoor activities at multiple bird feeders, chipmunks, raccoons, etc. Ming silently stalks outdoor cats or raccoons from her inside viewing area, very effectively warning them through silent body language. In June, 2017 Liu Chen, quite territorial, was startled by seeing an outdoor cat & then attacked Ming Li. He incurred 3 bites to his tail & required vet assistance for a resulting abscess. Both cats are now being given Jackson Galaxy's Solutions' Safe Space for Cats Holistic flower essences. (Liu Chen has stopped hissing & snarling at the world. My precious Ming Li was simply defending herself. But one does not attack a Tortie female. I call her "the best therapy cat in the world."

ISHTAR
Anyone want a very petite and delicate gal with impeccable habits in all areas, snuggly and loving, well mannered and polite, cute as a button, but (yes, you knew there would be a but) who thinks the world revolves around them? My only hiccup is I really don't like other felines. I had an owner and she died - I was left in that apartment for who knows how long fending for myself - now I've recovered from my ordeal, and I'm looking for a throne to perch my 5 pound tush on where I can be adored and admired for the miniature Queen Meezer that I am!

In honor of sweet Ishtar- a gorgeous 10 year old siamese kitty. This beautiful girl had the most gorgeous markings, and was always such a delicate, petite little thing. It turns out, though, that she had a feisty, loving and passionate side- making Ishtar a very appropriate name for her ;). Ishtar was adopted through siamese rescue group from a home with some unfortunate circumstances. She found herself in a home where she was cherished all the rest of the days of her life. When her body grew weak and she was starting to struggle, her family knew it was time to say goodbye, and Ishtar passed peacefully at home, surrounded by love on the peaceful back porch she enjoyed so much. Rest in peace, sweet Ishtar

Tansie is ever the stealth kittie but she seems happy. She has her Otis, lots of room (2,700 square feet) to roam, food, extra clean litter bins, doctor's care - although she would not count that as a plus. She occasionally will stop and listen to the love and admiration we shower on her in the gentlest of voices and I believe she joins Otis on patrol to make sure we are all bedded down and safe for the night. Sometimes I catch her watching me in bed or watching tv or reading but she still runs if I make the mistake of trying to get a little closer to her. I have had to accept that she is a cat's cat and humans are just to be tolerated. I am certain she will be over the moon when we adopt a kitten. Otis doesn't play with her much and we can see she tries ever so hard to get him to join her in romping about. I think we will have to keep her from the kitten for the first week of so or we will never get to bond with "her" kitten. This will be tough but best for EVERYONE.

LAYLA
I am one lucky gal and only had to spend a few days in the shelter before Siamese Rescue was able to spring me. I was a favorite of the shelter manager and had a nice big cage so it wasn't all that terrible. Foster Mom gave me a bath as soon as she got me to her house and it was fine, I didn't fuss at all. This tells foster mom just how easy going I am. You should probably ask about me soon because sweet young things like me usually get snatched up pretty quick.

Be sure to check out my videos.

Notes from Home
Hello all! Just found out that I can do updates online that all of you can see. I have been emailing with Shirley since Saturday and spoke with Sheri the day before yesterday so they are both pretty much up to date.

We picked Layla up on Saturday, August 8 and other than a little car sickness and we did the nice hilly, windy road from the Greensboro, NC area to Virginia she did great. She settled in immediately. Checked out her room, her toys, food, litterbox, etc. And was ready to play and for lots of love an attention which, of course, she got. She ate overnight and had a normal BM.

She met my vet on Monday and got a clean bill of health. Her records are on file and in the online

database so I get updates when she is do for anything. I also picked up Revolution as she is due for her next dose tomorrow.

She is an awesome girl who craves human contact and affection and follows me around like a puppy. Love this girl already.

She did try to give me a few hairs by refusing her food for two days, but she snarfed down all of her canned food and some kibble last night and ate half a can of wet food and more kibble today so hopefully we are in a routine. I just ordered a case of the EVO Chicken and Turkey online and if she eats it, will get it on auto delivery. It is carried here, but only in Virginia Beach and frankly the price on Chewy.com is much better and I don't have to deal with the traffic. lol She does not like the Blue Buffalo in any flavor so that goes back. My 14 year old thought it was fantastic, but had adverse reaction. Thank God for the spot bot to clean that up!

I will attempt to send a few pictures after I send this update. Yesterday the system booted me and my nice long detailed update and pictures disappeared into cyber space. Hence this update is a little bit less detailed.

Friday, August 14, 2015
Hard to believe it's almost been a week. Now that she is comfortable, the diva in her is really coming out! She desperately wants attention, but then not, but then yes again, and then no....usually in 20-30 second increments. She is doing her growling thing now. Little does she know that I have been around Siamese practically since birth. A little growl isn't going to scare me away! She really expresses herself with her ears. She will lay them back and purr looking perfectly content. Then the eyes pop open, the ears go up then flat then we gggrrrrr and run away. Then we come running back again. She puts the ears sideways like Yoda when she is thinking about something. It's really pretty funny.

I was able to upload a few pictures of her today. Hope you enjoy them.

August 22, 2015 - It's been two weeks since this little girl joined the family. She is truly a job. So lovey dovey, but she has her limit. I truly believe her first family gave her no love. She desperately craves attention, but holding her or petting her for more than 30 seconds at a time, and this is a marked improvement, and she wants to turn it into bite/play/put me down. Shirley, you made the right decision about the family with the toddler. That would have been a disaster. She isn't anywhere close to being ready for that. She gets loves of love and attention, just in small doses.

The EVO canned food arrived on Thursday so I am int he process of transitioning her over from the Fancy Feast. I am mixing in a little of the Fancy Feast until she is ready for straight EVO. The Blue Buffalo Grain Free kibble she loves! She gets this is moderation and snarfs it down right away.

I got an emails from DADS asking for feedback. I completed the survey last week. If it did not go through, please let me know and I will complete it again. I think your process is great and your volunteers do a great job vetting the applicants and also assessing the cat's personality for a good match.

We are making progress with her sitting "on" vice near us in the evenings. I have attached three pictures that show the progress. She sits on my footstool with just her upper body on one of my shins. The she stretches out over both of my shins. Then she rolls sideways across both shins and stretches out. I assume she is working her way up to my lap. :-)

Wow, it's been a month! Layla is doing great. Sometimes I think she is schizophrenic she has so many personalities. Cuddle time is up to 30 seconds at a time, then she wants loose, but comes right back for more. Still not a lap cat, but I put the cuddle pad on the couch and she snoozes there in the evenings when we watch TV. Next week I will move it a little closer and see what she does. She and my 14 year Blue Point completely ignore each other. Hoping that will change. I have added two new pictures. The one of her on the pillows was last weekend when we had friends over. I have an L shaped couch so there were people e on both sides with Layla making herself comfy on the wedge where the throw pillows ended up. The other picture is her on the cuddle pad.

Layla has a new favorite toy. Nothing else, including the feather toy interests her anymore. It is a mouse that came as a gift from Road Runner Pharmacy with Jasmine's precription. They always include one or two toys. Layla is in total love with this mouse. she plays with it for hours chasing it all over the first floor (hardwood so it slides great), carries it around in her mouth, or takes it upstairs with her. She even hides it in James' slippers and includes them in the game. If she knocks it under the couch, she will lay there staring at it until you get it out for her and then the hunt is on again.

She has transitioned completed to the EVO canned with the Blue Buffalo kibble and is doing really good. She has really filled out and the fur is better and better all the time. We love this little girl to pieces, attitude and all. I always say, if I wanted a lap cat, I would get a Persian. I have Siamese for a reason.

November 8, 2015 - Today we celebrate our three month anniversary! This baby has come a long way. She is more tolerant of being held and sometimes sleeps at the foot of the bed at night. Not a lap cat, but she has to be around me at all times. my petite girl is petite no more. She has a voracious appetite and will eat anything. She cleans the kitchen floor better than even the dog did! Layla has just joined me in my office and is sitting on my desk looking out the window as I compose this update. She has settled in quite well and I believe she finally understands that this is her forever home. I posted a new picture of her with my 14.5 year old Blue Point Jasmine enjoying a morning siesta in the sun. They are roughing it on a feather pillow wrapped in a shearling blanket.

May 7, 2016. Layla is doing great and is happy to have a playmate is Sidney who we adopter two weeks ago today.

5/23/16: Layla celebrated her second birthday last week. Update pictures are posted. She has really gotten dark. Layla and Sidney get along great and race all over the house. It sounds like a herd of elephants. Sometimes she needs a little break from the bundle of energy who wants to play and race around every two hours.

Happy one year anniversary Layla! One year ago today we made that long drive to NC to bring Layla to her forever home. She is a welcome addition to our family and is healthy and happy. Well, relatively happy Right now we need to lose a few pounds so we aren't all too happy with mama. Started her prescription diet one week ago today and are taking it slowly. I am posted a new picture of Layla. Sometimes I really believes is a dog and not a cat.

1/10/17 - Happy New Year! Layla was spoiled for Christmas and enjoyed all the goodies that came out of her Christmas stocking.
My little fluff does not understand portion control and between the two of us, she bloomed to a whopping 15.5 lbs! She is on a prescription diet now and is doing great. She has dropped down to 13.5 lbs with a target weight of 11.0 lbs. My vet and I will determine at that time if we need to get her a little lower.
Today Layla is enjoying bird watching. We got snow this weekend and my bird feeder is getting lots of visitors. Since it hangs from a tree outside one the living room windows, Layla can enjoy her bird watching while lounging on a feather pillow under a heater vent. I have posted pictures.

August 8, 2017 - Happy two year anniversary Layla! Layla has had a little bit of a rough year. She was diagnosed with Feline Herpes in her left eye. We did drops for 10 days which cleared the outbreak and she has been on a L-lysine supplement since then which seems to be keeping it under control.

She has turned into quite a little fluff ball! We are thrilled to have Layla as part of our family and she knows she has found her forever home.

TEEKO
Hello there,

A lucky young lad when a good Samaritan found me and kept me safe while she looked for a place for me...a home or rescue. She would have kept me but she just couldnt. No worries cuz I am a darling little guy (okay not so little) who has very good manners.

A playful sister would be lovely. I can't wait to meet my new pawrent/s!

Hurry! I'm ready :)

Teeko

PS I am a good snuggler!

SUZI
I am shy but sweet, and a great buddy once I know you are safe. I take a little while to warm up, but I will be a great companion for a quiet home. I am big girl, with a big heart, and I would love to share it with you. I don't care for other animals, but I can tolerate a laid back quiet male cat. I would prefer to be your one and only, though.

Notes from Home
It has been seven years since we adopted Suzi?! Wow!! Suzi just got her shots at the doc's last month. She's doing great and has only had a little trouble with some allergies. Her new siblings have taught her to almost always "sing" with them for their lunch promptly at 12. She has also learned to leave the kitchen when I'm using the stove.

Thanks for checking in and happy tails to you and your cats too,

-Edda Garza

Now it's been a full decade since Suzi joined our family. There have been some big changes. Suzi and I are dealing with the passage of time with new challenges that come along with being seniors. We both know that we can meet these new issues as long we can both get our "treats" when we need them. ;)
