JASMINE
I am one talkative interactive involved gal who loves to be in the middle of everything and thinks that everything should center around me! I have an opinion and don't hesitate to express it, I can talk about everything from politics to insects, and I snuggle with the best of them. I'm sporting a lion cut that I like to wear through the summer (it lasts for 6-8 months), during the cooler months I don't mind letting my hair down just a bit! So if you'd like a really interactive fun loving involved galfriend, give me a holler, and I'll call you right back!

Notes from Home
First of all we are changing her name to Jasmine. She just wasn't a Hazel. She talked to us all the way home on Friday but it wasn't too bad. She walked in the door and made herself right at home. Wants to check everything out. She gets excited when a door opens that hasn't been open before such as a closet. She is using the litter box and doing everything she should. She is eating, more today than yesterday, and drinking water. All seems good. She has no interest in people food and hasn't tried getting on the kitchen table or counters. Also good. He favorite spot to sleep is my husband's spot on the couch. So far he has let her have it.

Thank you for steering us to such a wonderful cat.
8/8/11. Last night, she slept with the visiting grandchildren!
8/27/17 UPDATE
Sorry it has taken me so long to get back to you. Mom & Dad decided they wanted to move to a new house and we have been busy. Lots of new places to explore. Fortunately it was only a 10 minute car ride. Riding in a car is not one of my favorite things to do. I am sending you picture of me helping arrange some pictures for their bedroom.
I had my annual physical last week. Hated that but all is well and I don't have to go back for a year.

HARRY
I am full of energy, very curious and love attention. I will follow you all around and even out the door if you left me because I love to explore.

Toys... I love toys! Food.... I love food even more than toys!

After I have had a full day of play, I love to snuggle. I will snuggle with humans or other kitties, I am not picky.

Notes from Home
Harry wants to know how to update his file so he won't be Sandy anymore. He is doing well and growing like a weed. He races through the house at will and loves his toys. He also loves to race over and eat Lady Di's food, so he gets to eat on the basement steps as there is no discouraging him where food is concerned. He has discovered his purr. And, he likes to tuck himself in by my neck. This makes for a very warm person.

He and Lady Di continue to make progress. I came back from vacation and actually saw him groom her twice. Of course, then they get into a spat and the love-in is over. Occasionally they hang out side by side. It's a good match and will continue to mature.

Notes from Home
Lady Di: It took me awhile to make it to the top of the heap, but now I am the screen saver on the phone. I know mom likes me best since she sure uses that phone a lot. She does like to test me though. There's a new kid on the block who can be quite a pest. He has no short term or long term memory, but he may be trainable.

I still love my stuffed kitty. I think the runt hides it because he is all about the toys. I'm more about sunning myself and hanging out. I do get my exercise in as the young 'un likes to chase and nip me. I can still deliver a healthy slap when he gets on my nerves.

Mom promised me this would be my last home. It's been six years. It's good to have a home.

Scooter alias (Ellison) is a sweet gumdrop ! He has gotten so big and is no longer a kitten. Chin and Scooter are the best of buddies. We could not have asked for a sweeter kitty. We adore him ! He keeps us smiling all day. We love to watch his antics with Chin !

Hi - We wanted to update everyone on Mystic, whose new name is Ty. We recently celebrated our 1 year anniversary with Ty and can not say enough good things about him. He has a great personality and is a super sweet cat! He enjoys sunning and bird watching during the day by the sliding glass door and sleeping under the covers at night. We are so happy that he is part of our family!!

Ty recently had his annual check up at the vet and is a happy and healthy boy :-)

8/27/17- Hard to believe Ty's been with our family for 3 years already... he's an amazingly sweet & loving boy. Ty continues to enjoy birdwatching & watching National Geographic channel. He's also decided that he will join us at the table for every meal... which we think is absolutely wonderful! He sleeps in our bed every night with only his head sticking out from under the blankets :). He has a variety of beds ( some heated) & cat trees throughout the house to make sure he's comfortable & content at all times. Ty also loves his cat water fountain & is thrilled when we leave the faucet trickling so he can lay in the sink while grabbing a fresh drink. He seems very happy, healthy ( per vet ) & is beyond loved...
Thank you for allowing Ty to become a part of our family & for all of your wonderful efforts in saving countless meezers.

TASHI
Cowardly lion anyone? I'm working on my courage, you see, but I need someone to help me along the path. I'm a big guy who is a complete teddy bear once I get to know you, but it's going to take some work on your part. If you've got a quiet home, patience, and lots of love to give, please ask about me today!

CARA
I'm the slightly more reserved one of the three that came in from a home with lots of other cats. I'd prefer to be the only female cat in the household, but could match with a nice guy, especially if he was cute. Snowshoe gals are smart, curious, interactive and playful, add in a little talking and you've got me! I'm ready to go home next weekend, 8/23, and am hoping you may choose me!

Notes from Home
I am definitely happy to have been rescued out of a hoarder situation with 26 other cats and brought to SRC where Siri helped get me ready for my new home! When I got here, it was kinda late after a long day's travel so I was put in a small bathroom as my "safe room". That was fine at first, but I need loving and wanted to be closer to my Mom. It was OK for the first couple of days, but I decided to dash the door on Day 3 and find out what this place was all about. My Mom says I'm doing great - eating, drinking and pooping up a storm (she really is amazed at how big my poops are - she says for a tiny sprite of a thing, how is it possible to make such big poops...she's too funny...). I don't know how to play with toys, but Mom promised she and my new sister will teach me. Mom did what she tells all her adopters not to do - she let me stay out when I dashed on Day 3 to scope out my new home. My sister Chloe is nice; we kinda look alike a bit. She still growls at me if I get too close, but we were able to rest together (she of course has taken over my Millie Bed as her own) and we even slept with Mom last night on her bed! How wonderful is it to have a new home. I know this integration thing is going to take a while longer, but I already know I'm going to love it here. (Update: Day 4: I learned what a toy was - this is going to be FUN!!!).

September 19, 2014: Well, it's very hard to believe that it's been almost a month already that I've lived with my Mom and my sister Chloe. I am (or so I'm told) doing everything a youngster should (and shouldn't!) be doing: climbing on counters, playing and chasing toys like a bandit, eating like there's no tomorrow, and loving my Mom and sister. I love to wrap myself around Mom's feet and toes as she's walking - she tells me one day she's gonna step on me but I know she won't because I'm so fast. I've also learned how to explore UP...yep, that's a picture of me finding my way to the top of Mom's bookcase. Great cozy spot to hide out, only thing is, I hadn't planned ahead and couldn't figure out how to get down (Mom helped show me the way!). I'm told every day how beautiful and smart I am - my sister Chloe doesn't believe it entirely yet but we have learned how to play together with our cat dancer and wand toys and she's definitely coming around. And of course I'm so smart that I'm doing everything right when it comes to my beautiful sister - grooming her when she'll let me, but giving her a little bit of space when she needs to sleep or when she's not feeling 100%. I'm just one beautiful, smart, adorable little meezer (according to my Mom) who has brightened each and every day with love and laughter. We are all truly blessed to be a family!!!

November 26, 2014: I just wanted to send a message on behalf of my Meommy and me - to say how very much I have to be grateful for this Thanksgiving. I am so lucky I ended up with Siri in SCRC after living with WAY TOO MANY other cats. I am filled with all sorts of love for my new home, my new sister Chloe and my Mom. My Mom tells me every day (at least 10 times) how much I am loved, and my new family has just made me so much happier, funnier, cuter (is that possible?) and mischievous. I know I will never have anything but good nourishing food, a clean litter box, lots of toys and oodles and oodles of love. This Thanksgiving is a blessing. I thank everyone at SCRC for rescuing me - and for all they do every day to help little meezers like me! find their forever homes. Wishes for a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday to all from Cara, Chloe and Karen - (postscript - here's a picture of the two girls cuddling on the bed; taken December 3, 2014)

August 25: Oh my! I cannot believe I've been here one year already. My home is my haven and I am just so happy I don't even remember how horrible it was at that hoarder's home a year ago when Siamese Rescue scooped me up and saved me. I am now a happy, frisky girl who loves to play fetch with my Meowmmy (she keeps on buying me toys for some reason!) and I just love this place. Thank you Siri and SCRC for scooping me out of that horrible place and finding me a home that I know will be my forever home! My Meowmmy tells me that almost every day. And my sister Chloe is also getting more comfortable with me - she even lets me groom her and sleep next to her when she's feeling good. I'm so happy I could just PURRRR!!!!

March 25, 2016: my new sister Coco has arrived and you'd think she was the two year old! We integrated in record time according to our Mom and we now sleep side by side on our sunflower pads. She's much more tiny than I am which I'm not used to and we're both still learning that being picked up is for nothing but love...I guess some memories don't go away so easily. But mom tells me every day I'm her white-nosed wonder and how much she adores me.I love this life!!

August 23, 2016: How is it possible that it's been 2 years already that I've found my forever home? I sure love it here. I lost my sister Chloe (we loved each other so much) in January, but this past March, my Mom told me I was going to have a new sister. She didn't tell me how smart and demanding she would be though! But we've learned to love each other, play with each other, and even snuggle with each other - here are a few pics. Will have my wellness visit with Vet Tom next week, but my wonderful Mom tells me I'm the most beautiful, sweet and easy to love girl, so I guess all is good! Thanks for finding me this wonderful home - life can't be any better!!!

August 23, 2017:
It's hard to believe it's my 3 year anniversary in this fabulous home. I have a sister who I love chasing (and who loves to chase me!), and my Mom is just the best Mom. She feeds me my favorite food (mixed of course with the "good" food that she says is better for me, even though both are grain free). I love my toys, especially my wand toys, and I jump up in the air to catch the mice that Mom throws up in the air (in my direction, which is down the hall.) I've posted a few pictures that show me and my sister snuggling in their Milton bed (thank you Bonnie!) and also just snuggling. We are ONE HAPPY FAMILY!!!

GEDDY
My brother and I are looking for a loving home together. We can't believe we lost the only home we ever knew but we are moving on and ready to be yours.

No new pictures yet
Notes from Home
The kids are doing fine. As expected Geddy is coming out of his shell after the bad shelter experience and becoming more participative. Morning playtime is his favorite after food. Zephyr is as always been a cuddly baby and a ton of fun to have about the house. They spend the day with me in my office and then move to the living room at night for family time in front of the TV.

We did not change their names as we felt 12 year old cats might be a little uncomfortable with new names

We really love these guys and they love us back.

DUSTY
Very sweet, mild mannered guy. Loves to be petted, brushed and massaged. Has always been an only cat and would prefer to stay that way. A little bit of a lap kitty but would probably prefer to lay next to you on the couch.
That is me - Dusty

Notes from Home

8-23-17: Dusty had his vet appointment last week and is in excellent health (he did not like it one bit)! My 19 year old had her tonsils out recently and Dusty stayed by her side or slept on her feet while she recovered (reason we were late getting to vet for 1 year check up). He will jump up on my chair and tap me with his paw if I am not fast enough with a pet, or grab my hand with his claws and pull it towards his head if the tap doesn't work --because I obviously forgot my most important job! Dusty is very talkative when you make eye contact and talk to him and still comes when you call his name (never had a cat do that). We love this cat--thanks so much for bringing him into our lives! I'll try to submit a picture.
