HARRY
I am full of energy, very curious and love attention. I will follow you all around and even out the door if you left me because I love to explore.
Toys... I love toys! Food.... I love food even more than toys!
After I have had a full day of play, I love to snuggle. I will snuggle with humans or other kitties, I am not picky.

Harry wants to know how to update his file so he won't be Sandy anymore. He is doing well and growing like a weed. He races through the house at will and loves his toys. He also loves to race over and eat Lady Di's food, so he gets to eat on the basement steps as there is no discouraging him where food is concerned. He has discovered his purr. And, he likes to tuck himself in by my neck. This makes for a very warm person.
He and Lady Di continue to make progress. I came back from vacation and actually saw him groom her twice. Of course, then they get into a spat and the love-in is over. Occasionally they hang out side by side. It's a good match and will continue to mature.

Notes from Home
Hi - We wanted to update everyone on Mystic, whose new name is Ty. We recently celebrated our 1 year anniversary with Ty and can not say enough good things about him. He has a great personality and is a super sweet cat! He enjoys sunning and bird watching during the day by the sliding glass door and sleeping under the covers at night. We are so happy that he is part of our family!!
Ty recently had his annual check up at the vet and is a happy and healthy boy :-)
8/27/17- Hard to believe Ty's been with our family for 3 years already... he's an amazingly sweet & loving boy. Ty continues to enjoy birdwatching & watching National Geographic channel. He's also decided that he will join us at the table for every meal... which we think is absolutely wonderful! He sleeps in our bed every night with only his head sticking out from under the blankets :). He has a variety of beds ( some heated) & cat trees throughout the house to make sure he's comfortable & content at all times. Ty also loves his cat water fountain & is thrilled when we leave the faucet trickling so he can lay in the sink while grabbing a fresh drink. He seems very happy, healthy ( per vet ) & is beyond loved...
Thank you for allowing Ty to become a part of our family & for all of your wonderful efforts in saving countless meezers.

CARA
I'm the slightly more reserved one of the three that came in from a home with lots of other cats. I'd prefer to be the only female cat in the household, but could match with a nice guy, especially if he was cute. Snowshoe gals are smart, curious, interactive and playful, add in a little talking and you've got me! I'm ready to go home next weekend, 8/23, and am hoping you may choose me!

Notes from Home
I am definitely happy to have been rescued out of a hoarder situation with 26 other cats and brought to SRC where Siri helped get me ready for my new home! When I got here, it was kinda late after a long day's travel so I was put in a small bathroom as my "safe room". That was fine at first, but I need loving and wanted to be closer to my Mom. It was OK for the first couple of days, but I decided to dash the door on Day 3 and find out what this place was all about. My Mom says I'm doing great - eating, drinking and pooping up a storm (she really is amazed at how big my poops are - she says for a tiny sprite of a thing, how is it possible to make such big poops...she's too funny...). I don't know how to play with toys, but Mom promised she and my new sister will teach me. Mom did what she tells all her adopters not to do - she let me stay out when I dashed on Day 3 to scope out my new home. My sister Chloe is nice; we kinda look alike a bit. She still growls at me if I get too close, but we were able to rest together (she of course has taken over my Millie Bed as her own) and we even slept with Mom last night on her bed! How wonderful is it to have a new home. I know this integration thing is going to take a while longer, but I already know I'm going to love it here. (Update: Day 4: I learned what a toy was - this is going to be FUN!!!).
September 19, 2014: Well, it's very hard to believe that it's been almost a month already that I've lived with my Mom and my sister Chloe. I am (or so I'm told) doing everything a youngster should (and shouldn't!) be doing: climbing on counters, playing and chasing toys like a bandit, eating like there's no tomorrow, and loving my Mom and sister. I love to wrap myself around Mom's feet and toes as she's walking - she tells me one day she's gonna step on me but I know she won't because I'm so fast. I've also learned how to explore UP...yep, that's a picture of me finding my way to the top of Mom's bookcase. Great cozy spot to hide out, only thing is, I hadn't planned ahead and couldn't figure out how to get down (Mom helped show me the way!). I'm told every day how beautiful and smart I am - my sister Chloe doesn't believe it entirely yet but we have learned how to play together with our cat dancer and wand toys and she's definitely coming around. And of course I'm so smart that I'm doing everything right when it comes to my beautiful sister - grooming her when she'll let me, but giving her a little bit of space when she needs to sleep or when she's not feeling 100%. I'm just one beautiful, smart, adorable little meezer (according to my Mom) who has brightened each and every day with love and laughter. We are all truly blessed to be a family!!!
November 26, 2014: I just wanted to send a message on behalf of my Meommy and me - to say how very much I have to be grateful for this Thanksgiving. I am so lucky I ended up with Siri in SCRC after living with WAY TOO MANY other cats. I am filled with all sorts of love for my new home, my new sister Chloe and my Mom. My Mom tells me every day (at least 10 times) how much I am loved, and my new family has just made me so much happier, funnier, cuter (is that possible?) and mischievous. I know I will never have anything but good nourishing food, a clean litter box, lots of toys and oodles and oodles of love. This Thanksgiving is a blessing. I thank everyone at SCRC for rescuing me - and for all they do every day to help little meezers like me! find their forever homes. Wishes for a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday to all from Cara, Chloe and Karen - (postscript - here's a picture of the two girls cuddling on the bed; taken December 3, 2014)
August 25: Oh my! I cannot believe I've been here one year already. My home is my haven and I am just so happy I don't even remember how horrible it was at that hoarder's home a year ago when Siamese Rescue scooped me up and saved me. I am now a happy, frisky girl who loves to play fetch with my Meowmmy (she keeps on buying me toys for some reason!) and I just love this place. Thank you Siri and SCRC for scooping me out of that horrible place and finding me a home that I know will be my forever home! My Meowmmy tells me that almost every day. And my sister Chloe is also getting more comfortable with me - she even lets me groom her and sleep next to her when she's feeling good. I'm so happy I could just PURRRR!!!!
March 25, 2016: my new sister Coco has arrived and you'd think she was the two year old! We integrated in record time according to our Mom and we now sleep side by side on our sunflower pads. She's much more tiny than I am which I'm not used to and we're both still learning that being picked up is for nothing but love...I guess some memories don't go away so easily. But mom tells me every day I'm her white-nosed wonder and how much she adores me.I love this life!!
August 23, 2016: How is it possible that it's been 2 years already that I've found my forever home? I sure love it here. I lost my sister Chloe (we loved each other so much) in January, but this past March, my Mom told me I was going to have a new sister. She didn't tell me how smart and demanding she would be though! But we've learned to love each other, play with each other, and even snuggle with each other - here are a few pics. Will have my wellness visit with Vet Tom next week, but my wonderful Mom tells me I'm the most beautiful, sweet and easy to love girl, so I guess all is good! Thanks for finding me this wonderful home - life can't be any better!!!
August 23, 2017:
It's hard to believe it's my 3 year anniversary in this fabulous home. I have a sister who I love chasing (and who loves to chase me!), and my Mom is just the best Mom. She feeds me my favorite food (mixed of course with the "good" food that she says is better for me, even though both are grain free). I love my toys, especially my wand toys, and I jump up in the air to catch the mice that Mom throws up in the air (in my direction, which is down the hall.) I've posted a few pictures that show me and my sister snuggling in their Milton bed (thank you Bonnie!) and also just snuggling. We are ONE HAPPY FAMILY!!!

The kids are doing fine. As expected Geddy is coming out of his shell after the bad shelter experience and becoming more participative. Morning playtime is his favorite after food. Zephyr is as always been a cuddly baby and a ton of fun to have about the house. They spend the day with me in my office and then move to the living room at night for family time in front of the TV.
We did not change their names as we felt 12 year old cats might be a little uncomfortable with new names
We really love these guys and they love us back.

DUSTY
Very sweet, mild mannered guy. Loves to be petted, brushed and massaged. Has always been an only cat and would prefer to stay that way. A little bit of a lap kitty but would probably prefer to lay next to you on the couch.

8-23-17: Dusty had his vet appointment last week and is in excellent health (he did not like it one bit)! My 19 year old had her tonsils out recently and Dusty stayed by her side or slept on her feet while she recovered (reason we were late getting to vet for 1 year check up). He will jump up on my chair and tap me with his paw if I am not fast enough with a pet, or grab my hand with his claws and pull it towards his head if the tap doesn't work --because I obviously forgot my most important job! Dusty is very talkative when you make eye contact and talk to him and still comes when you call his name (never had a cat do that). We love this cat--thanks so much for bringing him into our lives! I'll try to submit a picture.

Stop...right...there. That's it - freeeeze.
Now that I have your attention, I'd like to suggest that you really need to browse no further. One incredibly fabulous, friendly and fun feline at your service. Named for my magnetic, crystal blue eyes, I will have all of your friends 'oohing and aahing' over my handsome-ness and gregarious-ness. Big words for a cat. I know... I'm quite special.

Notes from Home
Hi Guys...it's me..DRAGO..I used to be Mr. Freeze, but I got my human to change it. It's easier than I thought to respond to when he calls me.
Well, lemme see...I got this human to do so many things for me, it's hilarious to watch him. First, he sets his alarm for work every nite for 5am> Who sleeps so late??? I make sure to wake him at 4:15 every morning to let him know that he only has 45 minutes left to play with me and pet me before he starts his day. Oh..and I follow him downstairs and watch him get my breakfast together. He washes my bowls and then fills my order and serves me. He knows just what I like!
Then I have him brush me for a minute before I send him off for his shower. I make sure to stay in the bathroom with him too just in case he forgets anything. He told me to bathe myself cuz he was tired of getting my fur on his tongue!!! Funny guy my human is.
He bought me this really comfy bed with my name on it. I feel like the star that I am! Sometimes when he opens the sock drawer, I pick out his socks and take off with them. I'm not sure, but I don't think he likes that stuff in the early morning. Too bad...he'll have to get used to my ways.
One thing that he does which drives me nuts, is that he jingles his keys to let me know he ready to leave for the day. Does he think I don't know that by now? He forgets how smart I am and how quickly I catch on to things. I even sit and wait with him while he folds the laundry too. I have him trained to leave at least one thing in the dryer while he folds, and i just lay in there on a warm item and relax. I have "thumbs" but it looks like way too much work for me. UH-OH..wait a second...he's coming..OK, he's gone again. I was just laying on the keyboard and almost got caught...whew!!!
Anyway, my plan worked! I lured him in with my good looks and disposition and I now have the run of the house..well except for the table and counters..he always knows if I've been up there...I think I need to hide my pawprints from now on. He's smarter than I thought he'd be but he really is a great Dad..I have a million toys, a whole bunch of favorite places to sit. I convinced him to move a couple of things in the house for my pleasure cuz I'm so worth it.
Whe he comes home from work, I do my thing and sit on the steps with him cuz I don't want him to feel like I didn't miss him while he was gone. He seems to like that..ya' know, all the attention and stuff. But I wish he'd keep his hands off my toys. He's always throwing them around and tickling me with them. He should just leave my things where I have them. Maybe he's getting even for the socks stuff I do to him.
Well fellow Meezers, I best be going for now, but I just wanted to catch up with you all. Belinda, I do think of you often and am grateful to you for fostering me, but I've got this human wrapped around my paws!!! I hope you all get places like this to live...gotta run..he just threw some bread out for the birds and I have to go sit in my window and watch them...I love doing that!!! I wonder if he'll ever bring me home one of those things for a treat???!! Doubt it, but he does cook me a delicious chicken breast just the way I like it!! He's lucky to have me here...later guys!!!
HAPPY ANNIVERSARY to me!!!! It's Drago here...remember me guys?. Wow..is it really 2 years already that I've been with Dad?? Seems like only 2 months. Let me tell you, I've got the life...when Dad goes to work he leaves not1, not 2, but 3 radios on for me..all three floors just for his son!! Fortunately I was able to train him to put them all on the same channel. Believe it or not, I am simply thriving here. Today I saw Dad defrosting a beef spare rib for my BD din-din!!! I sleep right next to him in the bed and he even puts one of my toys on top of the blanket for me. Then he pets me til I doze off. THAT'S when he trims my nails...he's sneaky like that. I have 3 perches with luxury seats at my favorite windows. I'd love to help him clean my litterbox but that's much too strenuous for me. I'd rather see him do it. I have toys galore to play with and Dad plays with me every nite. String, balls, blanket, etc...all kinds of games. I just had my shots and the Vet said I'm doing great. The girls at the vet's always comment on my eyes and my markings...I do have a couple of new things I do...after Dad's shower, I jump in and walk thru the puddles and then jump out and sit on the bath mat and clean myself. You should see him shake his head and tell me how spoiled I am. I also learned how to open the fridge door. See, they're French doors and when he goes to work I jump on the counter and then to the top of the fridge and pry open the door. When he get's home he says some bad things to me about it. I better cut that stuff out. One day he picked up in his arms and told me if I know how to open it I should learn how to shut it too. Too much work for this meezer. Belinda I still think of you...but I adore my Dad. Now when he comes home I come running and meowing and then drop on my side and have him pet me and stroke me for a minute and then I head straight for my food cuz it's time for my wet food. I only eat Hill's prescription food (wet/dry) cuz last year I developed struvite crystals in my urinary tract and that's my diet now. It wasn't anyone's fault that it happened it's just that my gender and age range is more prone to developing them. I was sick for a day and very lucky that Dad was home when I got sick. He rushed me to the vet and all I needed was a good, long pee which the Dr. helped me with and then the new food. I really like it a lot. It must be a bit more expensive than the stuff I used to eat cuz Dad told me I might need to work part time to contribute something for my luxury lifestyle. He better think again cuz that ain't happenin'!!! So guys I must get my catnap (HA!!) in before he gets home for my anniversary.....yippeeeee..it's my anniversary!!!! Stay well all of you...DRAGO
