Well, I didn't play "possum' for long. I was out and playing and loving Foster mom's pets my first night here. I surprised her with my exceptionally LOUD purr.
She says I am an absolute GEM! :)

11/9/15

Possum? Not me! I come right out of my bed when Foster mom comes to visit me and gently tap her asking for pets and tummy rubs. I love her rubbing me and show her by purring like a motorboat! She's calling me Mr McDreamy because I close my eyes and so enjoy the attention. I'm still not sure about being picked up or laps, but maybe in the future..... I love to play, but I am very gentle.

Yah! I'm out of iso for supervised playtime. I made such a fuss cuz I was so lonely that momma decided I could come out early. She says I'm actually kind of a wussy boy! What in the world does that mean? I like my door open, but I'm being a bit timid about coming out. Watch my new video and stay tuned for more...

Po is settling in just great! He adores our first cat, Ruby (VA10496) - she's less thrilled about him, but they do snuggle and play. He's still very much a kitten at heart, and will play until he's exhausted himself. He loves lounging around the house in odd places, still hasn't figured out about laps yet, but does love a good head bump. He's a great cat!

FRANKIE LEE
Settling into my new kitty apartment. I'm pretty laid back and curious about everything. Playful but not wild and crazy.
Foster mom needs to see how much of a fireball I am :)
Notes from Home
The Fabulous Fireball Frankie Lee has truly come home. I am so happy about this adoption - she's everything we were told she was, and so very much more. I don't think a more perfect match for this family exists. We are thrilled to be Frankie's family, and can't ever express gratitude enough to Siamese Rescue for their work in making this match possible.

Notes from Home
Indy has been with us over three years now - time sure did fly! We love him, love him, love him! We have had our fair share of animals through the years, he though is the MOST LOVING CAT we have ever been adopted by! His Foster Mom, Shirley B. gave such good notes, that even after three years they are true as the first day he arrived. We have followed her advice and it has worked so well for him. His food is grain -free, we give all the cat kids grain-free now and what a difference! Not allowing any of them to free feed has made our vet quite happy. We are the model according to our vet of keeping their weight pretty close to normal limits. That's a first! Usually we have a habit of over-spoiling the kids!
Indy had the little boy mischief about him - in some ways he still does, he has though matured mentally and what a difference! We were always concerned if he would be the cat that would be picked on because he was so gentle and did not look for trouble. It has changed though in fantastic ways. He is kind, loving, blah, blah, blah. He has though developed a Strong, Silent, attitude about him that the other cats have in fact respect him and understand that he is the Alpha Cat of the house! Go Go is and always will be his girl but he lets them know that he will stand up to them and take them down if they give him any guff!
He is our boy,, we love him so!

ANNABELLE
Hi, I'm Annabelle. Meowmy said I'm a sweet girl and just hates that someone hurt me. Dr. Connie isn't sure what caused my big wound on my neck, but she said it isn't infected and seems to be healing nicely. Once it's all healed up I can have my bath and then think about going to my forever home.

Meowmy said she needs a little time to figure out how I am with other cats but I told her right away I don't like her dog. As soon as she knows more, she'll tell you and then we can figure out where a good placement for me will be.

Annabelle
Notes from Home
Annabelle met her vet today. She was a lilttle shy but behaved like the little lady that she is. Dr. Dan agrees that she is about 1 1/2 years old and gave her a thorough check up. Aside from a little wax in her ears, she is in perfect health. Everyone at the clinic loved her. She was a good girl on the ride to and from the vets but she did hide under the cushion in her cage. She is happy to be home and is busy playing and enjoying her home. What a great cat!

6/22/2012 Well, Annabelle has been in our home for a month today. She is an ongoing source of joy. I think she is fully aclimated to her new home. She has perfect litter box manners and now uses her large scratching post thatIi ordered from Amazon.com. She has also developed a taste for a little wet food (Science Diet) to go along with her main meal of Science Diet dry cat food.

She follows us from room to room and is always ready to play. When we are busy, she sits on the window seat in the kitchen and watches Cat TV - the birds and occasional squirrel on the bird feeder outside the window. She is the most energetic cat that I have ever had. She loves to race up and down the long hallways in our house and I also find her sitting on top of tall bookcases. Annabelle enjoys beening groomed and talks in a sweet little chirping voice when she wants attention. Both Bob and I love her and feel fortunate to have this lovely cat as part of our family.
12/2/12 Annabelle has been part of our family for 6 months. She is such a cute, playful cat. She brings toys up to our bedroom in the night so that we can play with her first thing in the morning. She is always ready for a play session. She is very comfortable in any room of the house and we never know where we will find her napping. She has ventured on to our laps but is more comfortable sitting near by. Annabelle brings joy to our lives every day. In fact, we are now considering adopting a second cat.
5/22/2014 Today is our two year anniversary with our lovely Annabelle. She is a much loved healthy (all shorts are up to date) , active family member. In January 2013, we adopted a pretty orange rescue kitten as a playmate for Annabelle. Rusty is now a mild mannered, 14 pound gentle giant who loves frisky little 7 1/2 pound Annabelle. The play, groom and often sleep together. At night they are usually curled up on the end of our bed. Annabelle has never become a lap cat but she often sits near by and loves to be scratched and brushed. She races through the house chasing balls and loves to climb up to favorite napping spots on top of bookcases. Bob and I are thankful that we were able to adopt this sweet cat from Siamese Rescue. Thank You!
5/29/2015 Annabelle continues to be in perfect health. She is bonded with our mellow and much larger cat, Rusty. They play and frequently sleep together. I think I just uploaded some pictures. Annabelle's personality is much the same as last year although she does seek out more frequent contact with us...she loves to be close but cannot relax on a lap to nap. I do wonder what her early life was like before adoption.
5/22/16 I think Annabelle has mellowed a bit in this past year. At 7 1/2 pounds she is still a tiny dynamo. Her health is excellent. She runs everywhere and frequently interacts with our gentle big orange cat. She now jumps on our laps several time a day for "scratching" and takes her naps right next to us. She is a beautiful, quirky cat who definitely owns our hearts.

CHLOE
UGH! I'm another terrible hoarder survivor. Momma says I'm a mess! Yucky eye, congested, dirty, matted and desperate for love and pets. Only 3 pounds when confiscated and brought to the shelter I am now almost 4 pounds!

I did get my spa treatment today, mani/pedi, lovely warm sudsy bath, mats cut out, ears cleaned so I'll soon be beautiful. Momma has given me soft beds and a cubby to sleep in, but I still prefer the bathtub next to my litter box. I'm unfamiliar with luxuries most kitties take for granted and think are normal. I'm surprised and delighted when fresh food is served twice a day and get grabby and a little nippy when getting pets. I just don't want it to stop.

Momma says I'll soon get used to the good life and will love being someone's pampered princess.
Do you want a princess in your life? Will you feed me and love me and brush my gorgeous long fur so I don't get those horrid mats ever again?

So Chloe has taken over our lives and our hearts.
Literally this girl is my shadow, and boy is she so nosey. She follows me every where I go and watches my every move, and I love every minute of it. She is so precious and absolutely stunning. She knows it too! She loves being cleaned and brushed. She loves being kissed and petted. She is such a diva. What's this?? What's in here? let me swat at that. Let me tell you, she is the Queen of our home and it suits us just fine. Chloe is the blessing in our life and I hope we have been the blessing in hers. She is silly and bossy and so loving. We have the worlds friendliest cat. Feel like something is missing in your life? RESCUE!!

Hi there, I'm Larry. I'm a lover and want all the attention for myself, so I need to be your only love. I have great litter box habits, love to lap sit, and meowmy said I have a beautiful coat.

So if you're looking for just one furkid, maybe I'm your man!

Hello,

Thank you for all the help rescuing Mylo (renamed Larry to Mylo). He is doing great, he settled right in very quickly and easily. Started to eat very well after a night or 2. He loves bird watching and playing with his toys (the peacock feather is his fav). He is a very well behaved cat and everyone loves him. He is the perfect fit for my home.

Notes from Home
Went back to the vet today to get my final distemper shot! The vet said everything looks good and even cleaned my ears! I weighed in at 3.6 pounds... eating is one of my new favorite hobbies!

I am becoming a big boy! Recently I had a bad bout of diarrhea but the doctor gave me new medicine and I am starting to feel better. I really enjoy playing with my go-cat mouse. I carry him all around the house so I don't have to share with my sister. In the morning when mom lets us into her bed I am a snuggle-machine! I even started to sleep with my sister and will groom her during nap time. Purrs, Sake

Hi! It's me, Sake! I have made tremendous progress with my toileting since the last update. Stools have been solid and regular since switching to a new fancy food that is grain-free (almost 3 months now!). Eating is my favorite part of the day. I am super cuddly and will let anyone pick me up. Mom thinks I might be part rag-doll because I just melt into your arms. I recently got a new toy ribbon that is simply the best. I chase it and jump after it, and once I catch it I take it to another room so nobody can steal it back from me. I hate being brushed, but mom says that I should get used to it since I have long fur. Oh well. Life is hard when you're this spoiled :) Purrs, Sake

Hello! Can you believe it? I turned one last month! Not much has changed about me, I still love food and getting scratchies and chasing my cat-teaser toys! My favorite new hobby is watching my meowmy run on the treadmill. I wait until she is done and then I jump on and roll around on the warm belt, it's just purrrfect! I haven't had issues with the potty and still love the new expensive food that meowmy serves me. Sometimes I eat so fast that I throw up, so meowmy feeds me a little bit many times a day so I get all the nutrition that I need! I am quite energetic, especially after I eat a meal. I chase my favorite mouse and do flips in the air trying to catch it! Meowmy keeps trying to get a video recording but I am just too fast for her! My sister Sakura and I love watching the birds and squirrels outside our favorite window. I chatter whenever I see my arch-nemesis, the cardinal. Until next time! Purrs, Sake

SAKURA
I am Arya - and yes, I am also named for one of foster mom's favorite "Game of Thrones" characters. I am feisty, playful, independent and a bit of a tomboy. I do love to play and snuggle with my brother and sister though so I will need to go home with another kitten to play with - a BOY kitten.
Notes from Home
Went back to the vet today to get my final distemper shot! I was a good girl and even let them trim my nails! Weighed 3.6 pounds... I am starting to look like a big girl!

Boy do I like to eat! I even try to eat my brother's food from his dish in between bites so he won't notice. Mom has to sit beside us to make sure we both get our fair share! My favorite things to do are play with my go-cat mouse, chase my brother, and curl up into mom's lap. Sometimes a fly gets into the house and I chase it in circles. So far I have caught two, right out of the air! Purrs, Sakura

6 months! Holy cow! Well I am officially the queen of my domain. I have diva-tendencies and I won't take no for an answer! My favorite thing to do is to wake mom up in the morning with kisses and snuggle in laps to keep warm. I still love my go-cat mouse, but I also found a new an exciting sparkle ball that I carry with me everywhere. I lost my first one, so mom bought me a brand new pack of 20, which should last for a long while! I am growing and eating and doing everything as I should. I like to scratch, but only on my cardboard scratchers that are all over the house. Other than that, I am simply perfect. Purrs, Sakura

Hello! Meowmy apologizes for the delay, but she figured better late than never for my first birthday update! I continue to be spoiled rotten and I have demolished almost all of the 20 sparkle balls my meowmy bought me last time. I am energetic and lively and always up for a game of catch. People keep saying that I am like a dog because I can play fetch, silly humans! My grandma bought me and my brother Sake a bird feeder for outside our favorite window... it's like having kitty-TV! I will sit for hours and watch until a chipmunk or squirrel comes, then I jump at the window! Sometimes I get so distracted by the kitty-tv that meowmy has to bring me to my food because I forget to eat, oops! I suppose that is all for now! Purrs, Sakura

TIGERPAWS
A very long and lanky, very busy fast paced guy needing an experienced, intelligent Type A owner who can show me the ropes. I'm young and athletic, and have fantastic potential; but not a great deal of experience. Shy is not my concern, but knowing how to interact with people (and how to trust them) may take some time - however, I've got all the right moves to start with! I'm very vocal, very into everything, very smart, very possessive and quite dominant. Oh, and did I say handsome? That too! Check out my movie!

MEMO
Maxx and I are a pair. You can read our sad story when you read about Maxx. I may have been dealt a few bad cards in my life but I'm not letting it get me down. Initially I'm a little shy but once I'm comfortable with you - I'm a complete and utter lover boy. I can't get enough petting. I'll sit with you, on you and love to be held. With me in your house, you'll never be lonely.

With me and Maxx in your house I don't know why you would need any other cats. Just in case you already have cats Foster Mom is going to see how we do meeting her three girls. That won't be for a week or two as we need to see the Vet for a check-up and maybe get our teeth cleaned.

Do you have room in your heart and your home for a couple of great guys?
If so - ask about me, Memo, and my buddy, Maxx.
Notes from Home
Memo remains a love-bug. He and brother Maxx are happy and healthy. He visits the vet periodically and looks sleek and healthy. Of course, every time I sit in my favorite chair, I expect that he will be right on my lap, purring and stroking my chin with his paws. The "boys" do fine with me at work all day. They are good company to each other and to me. I will send along a photo.

03/25/16. Memo is doing OK since Maxx's death. But he calls out for Maxx just as he did when Maxx was alive and Memo had not seen him for awhile. Thinking already of getting him a companion. He remains off his food a bit.

05/16/2016: Memo has accepted Bandit into his realm. They went through some really silly and mild hissing at each other during the integration process. Memo did not want to share me and the bed with Bandit.. That went away this past weekend.. Bandit prefers outside the covers and Memo prefers under the covers. Memo does not have as much fur and Bandit. When I left this morning for work, they were chasing each other and pouncing. I like to think that Memo is happier with a companion.
