Notes from Home
We're coming up on Blu's arrival anniversary of 2 years with us. My....how she has grown! While she remains a kitten at heart, she has grown to be such a loving cat. We love her so much and she really is the star of the house. Whatever Blu does is cute, even when hunting down Marley and dive bombing him from a hidden corner. Poor Marley, but he'll get even eventually and he's quite the big boy and capable of taking care of himself. Blu does have a bad habit of using my leather bench as a scratching post and has inflicted some damage. She does get her nails cut about every 2 weeks, but it doesn't seem to help. But when she's looking at you with those baby-blue eyes and pink nose, you can't possibly get mad at that. Blu is a talker especially in the morning and will always greet me with some meows and chirps which I absolutely love. When i ask her, "what seems to be the issue" she always has an answer. Blu will nag me with her meows until I pick her up, cradle her in my arms and kiss her neck and pink belly. When I put her down, she walks away like she's satisfied and done with loving for the moment. There's not a day that goes by, I don't thank myself for adopting her. I have many more years with her and I'm thrilled about it!!

DUNCAN
Slightly shy at first but quick to warm up older gent who has lived with 28 other cats, and would now like one other at the most, thanks very much! Feeling SO much better now that most of my teeth have been removed, wow were they infected! Eating like a champ now (wet food please, just three canines left).

Notes from Home
I've already been in communication about Duncan's inappropriate elimination. He has peed and pooped on my sofa, in my laundry, and in my hedgehog enclosure. Those are just the places that I've found. Worried he might be going other places that I haven't discovered yet.
I just got a different kitty litter, a scoopable, so we'll see if he stops going outside the box. It has been suggested that the pine pellet litter hurts his feet and that's why he's choosing other places to go. The weird thing is, he does use the box sometimes, so it's not an extreme aversion.
If the litter change doesn't work, I'll have to look for other options.
I want to get a new sofa, but I'm afraid to until I know he won't eliminate on it. As it is, I can't really sit on the sofa because it's smelly. Will move some folding chairs into the living room, I guess. Not terribly comfortable.

DUKE
Playful, inquisitive...ok so foster Mom calls it nosy, but I don't think that's fair. After all, I'm a kitten and we're supposed to get into everything, right? I will follow you around everywhere, talking to you in my adorable tiny kitten voice. Foster Mom wonders if I'll have a big Meezer meow when I grow up. I say you choose me and we'll find out together. I love to play, so make sure you have some toys for me, any toys will do.

Notes from Home
Duke is loving his new home and we all love him! He has a 🶠named Chavo to play with and blame when he makes a mess. During the day he enjoys looking out the window while hanging out on his cat tree. He also loves any toy, especially with feathers (thanks Joy!). At night, the family hangs out in the living room where both Duke and Chavo compete to be the cutest pet of all time. At 10pm, Duke is ready for bed (his plush cat bed on top of our bed). The next day, he wakes me up promptly at 5 am to snuggle on my chest and neck, purring his little heart out till I have to get up and playtime begins! We are so happy Duke was able to join our family!

Excuse me, but can I tell you that I LOVE dogs? My owner got an out of town job that requires me to be rehomed, and her loss is your luck! WOW! Big guy but oh so excellent!

Notes from Home
Hi Andrea and Siri,
Cosmo continues to do great! He is fully adjusted in his new home and plays a lot with Benny, our little Jack Russell. He loves it when Benny licks his ears. Ha! He is so funny and is with us just about everywhere we go. Cosmo is still a little overstimulated, but it is not a problem. When he lets us know that he is done or has had enough play, we give him his room. Cosmo has won our hearts and is very comfortable with us. He has very good litter box habits, but we've had to put up his food bowl and just feed him a couple of times a day. He seems as if he does not know when to stop eating. He continues on the Blue Buffalo weight management cat food. The vet has recommended us to just not leave his food bowl down and feed him a couple of times per day. He loves to lay on our lap next to Benny. Cosmo is a Big Lover, but it has to be on his own terms. His favorite place is the basement and continues to carry things up from the basement to play with. We Love Cosmo and will provide him with many years of health and happiness.
Thank You for pairing us up with Cosmo.
Again, I want to Thank You both for helping us to adopt the "Perfect" cat for us.
P.S. I will try to see if I can get some pictures uploaded soon, but am not to tech savy...Ha!
We Love Him Very Much.
Anita & Randy
