CASPER
Hi! I'm Casper the friendly snowshoe. Foster dad was amazed that I didn't get adopted at the local shelter because every time he saw me there, I was in the arms of someone else. But my stray hold passed and no one showed up to adopt me and he rescued me.

I'm a big, old mush of a snowshoe. I adore being loved on. I start purring as soon as I see you and will gently nudge you to get attention. Pet me anywhere! I even like belly rubs (see my video).

UPDATE: Dad didn't think I could get any cuter (because I'm already quite adorable) but I unleashed my snowshoe chirp on him. If you have never heard it, snowshoes make adorable chirping noises to gain attention and, of course, treats.

I had a nice spa treatment today as dad brushed me out and got a lot of loose hair and tangles out of me. I loved it and I purred the entire time. I must say I'm looking handsome and confident that I will find my home soon.

TUCKER
Just arrived. More information soon. Gentle souled purring and making biscuits is my first impression. And the second impression... and the third....

Notes from Home
Tucker is doing great. He is still a little leary of humans but he and Lexie are getting along well., He does come to me and lets me pet him but I am not allowed to pick him up just yet. He will jump on me for brief periods but doesn't stay long. I am sure he will be fine with time. He spends every morning with Lexie stalking the birds outside the bedroom window. I will attach some pictures. He had a vet visit on Friday. He was very vocal for the ride. He behaved for Dr. Grant and she just loved him.

I am so happy with this entire experience. I have to say I was leary about adopting a cat sight unseen. But this process is so amazing. I have always adopted my Siamese cats from breeders. I will recommend this to anyone looking to adop
Dec. 9 2011 We made major progress this week., Tucker is out of his hiding spots most of the time. Him and Lexie are getting along great. They are starting to play and run around. Tucker discovered the basket of cat toys today. He loves chasing the ball around the living room. He is doing great!!!

March 22, 2011 As you can see, I have taken over in my new home. Doing well. My Mom really loves me because I am so much better behaved then my new friend Lexie. She is always in trouble for something. We do have fun running around the house together.

May 19, 2012 Tucker is such a joy!! As he is becoming comfortable more of his personality comes out everyday. He has become quite vocal and is not afraid to ask for what he wants. Especially at 3am when he desides it is time for some scratching of his chin. I don't mind at all. He spends his days playing with Lexie as they hide there many toys throughout the house. Now that the weather is warm his favorite spot is in front of an open window. He is quite the bird watcher. It took quite a while but I have finally convinced him that letting me brush him is a great idea. He has alot of hair and was having magor hairball issues. Now that we have a routine brushing every night he is doing better.

I am having one issue that is disturbing and I am hoping for some advise. It is not with Tucker but with my siamese lynx Lexie. She has started to urinate on my laundry, my bed or most recently my couch. Ugh! I have banded her from the bedrooms when I am not in them, I don't know what to do. She loves Tucker and has since the day he arrived. I had her checked out by my vet to make sure there are no medical issues and she is fine. I don't know what the issue is. Any ideas will be most welcome,

I will add some new pictures of Tucker. I just love this guy!!! Thank you so much. You made a great match.

Nov. 19, 2012

I can't believe it has been a year since Tucker arrived. As you will see by the new pictures he is doing great. We had some adjustments but are doing fine. I just needed to be trained. We found a food that he has no more stumach problems with. I now know he does not like scented cat litter and he does have to have his very own box. He is becoming much more social. When he first arrived he was afraid of everyone, including me. Now he greets guests at the door and welcomes them. He loves his buddy Lexie. They are together all the time. Tucker thinks that 4 am is a really good time for some attention. he has become very vocal and we have long conversations everyday. He will be going for his annual check up soon. I don't expect any issues. I love my Tucker and I am so glad he is here.

Nov. 19, 2013

Tucker is doing very well in his forever home. Him and Lexie are always together. Sounds like a herd of elephants upstairs for the morning workout. He is healthy and even though he still wont let me pick him up, he has become much more trusting. He is more vocal then ever. Talks to everyone that comes through the door. I will upload new pictures. He is very good looking boy.

Nov. 19 2014

I cant believe it has been 3 years. Tucker has come along way from the gentleman cat that spent most of his first few months under a bed. Him and Lexie are best of friends and love to play. (usually at 3 am) Tucker is healthy and looking good, It was the right decision to bring him to our home.

Nov 19, 2015

I am Happy to say all is well with Tucker. He had a good annual check up. Him and Lexi are going strong keeping me on my toes. As you will see in the updated pictures he is very content in HIS home.

November 21, 2016

Tucker is doing great! Very healthy and Happy. Loves his Lexi (wish they wouldn't wait till 3 am to play) He is a very good and handsome gentleman. I will update pictures as well.

Tried to update pictures but keeps saying error.

Tucker doing as good as ever.

PO
/11/8/15

Well, I didn't play "possum' for long. I was out and playing and loving Foster mom's pets my first night here. I surprised her with my exceptionally LOUD purr.
She says I am an absolute GEM! :)

11/9/15

Possum? Not me! I come right out of my bed when Foster mom comes to visit me and gently tap her asking for pets and tummy rubs. I love her rubbing me and show her by purring like a motorboat! She's calling me Mr McDreamy because I close my eyes and so enjoy the attention. I'm still not sure about being picked up or laps, but maybe in the future..... I love to play, but I am very gentle.

Yah! I'm out of iso for supervised playtime. I made such a fuss cuz I was so lonely that momma decided I could come out early. She says I'm actually kind of a wussy boy! What in the world does that mean? I like my door open, but I'm being a bit timid about coming out. Watch my new video and stay tuned for more...

Notes from Home
Po is settling in just great! He adores our first cat, Ruby (VA10496) - she's less thrilled about him, but they do snuggle and play. He's still very much a kitten at heart, and will play until he's exhausted himself. He loves lounging around the house in odd places, still hasn't figured out about laps yet, but does love a good head bump. He's a great cat!

11/2017
Po is still ridiculous as every, afraid of his own shadow but just loves to play. His bud Ruby passed away about 5 months ago, so we were all very heartbroken. We got him Sophie (VA12243) as a playmate, and they're doing really great together! They love zoomies around the house at 2am, playtime all day every day, and naptime in the perches by the window.

VIVIAN
Petite and affectionate. I was living with LOTS of other cats so, I don't like being alone. I would love to have a nice male companion to snuggle with. I like horizontal scratchers and soft toys.

Notes from Home
Vivian, Raven's new name, has come out of her shell in the last month. She loves petting, sleeping beside me or on my lap, playing with her brother, Liam, and sleeping on the dog, Bridgette. It took her 11 months to feel safe with us. She must have had an awful beginning. When I'm in the kitchen cooking she sits on the rug by the stove and watches me. She has never tried to jump on the counter. She likes to look in the oven. She loves hiding from Liam then pouncing on him. Sometimes he plays other times he growls. They do not fight. We are so happy to have her. She adds joy to each of our days.

Sugar and Spice, and everything nice!!!
Not too keen on being picked up and carried around but I will follow you everywhere, sleep attached to you and check on you periodically throughout the night.
I'm young, I'm very pretty, I'm playful BUT I will insist on being the only cat in your home.
I'm looking forward to having you contact my staff. She can tell you lots more about me.

Notes from Home
Ellie had her veterinary appointment on Friday, May 26, 2017 with the Cat Doctor. He said she was in good health; she could lose 1 or 2 pounds but had no real concerns. She also got her nails clipped. He agreed with the adopted parent (Mary) to feed her more soft foods. Mary stated that she came from being fed only treats which contributed to her weight. Mary passed on a lot toys and I had a few too. She is getting more activate and run up and down the stairs. She is getting a good workout. She chases a few of her toys which is fun to watch. Ellie is very loving and friendly to my daughter and her friends. She has not be shy. She has more exploring since I have let her roam the house.
24Jun17: Ellie has gotten so active lately. She runs around the house like someone is chasing her, very playful. She is still very curious sniffing out many places. Ellie follows us around when we are home going up and down the stairs 20+ times. Her appetite is good and good with the litter box. She is very loveable and we enjoy her.
18Nov2017
1. Ellie is ruling the house now. She runs all over the house…up the stairs and down the stairs. She loves jumping out at me and I scream every time. I don’t know why she does not get sick of me screaming. Ellie has many toys she plays with but prefers my hand bands.
2. She is a good eater and eats all of her food in one sitting until the last week she may leave a tiny bit but it is always gone. She acts like I don’t feed her and would eat all the time if I fed her. I give her soft food and a little hard food in the morning since we are at work doing the day. She uses her litter box always…I have one upstairs in the bedroom and a second one in the basement.
3. Ellie has been friendly to my neighbors and loves my daughter too. She sleeps with me mostly.
4. Only thing I know is normal but I almost took her to the Vet is her one eye leaks now and then; I do give her Lysine which helps some. The Vet was not concern in the beginning. I was just getting ready to call one of you guys to get your thoughts.

Charlie has the biggest personality we have ever had. He is goofy and sneaky and playful and lovable, he is just an all-around amazing, he really brings a lot to our family. Both him and his sister Luxe have become such a huge part of our family, we really could not see our family being complete without them. We fostered 2 separate times after and failed each time...so now there’s a total of five. Another brother and sister Poe and Vail and our little munchkin cat ,Woki. They are a little crew and they all get along so beautifully.

O'MALLEY
Just arrived. More information soon.

No new pictures yet
Notes from Home
Sorry we're late in updating but the new fur baby is keeping us busy!! What a sweet and happy Meezer O'Malley is!! We love him and he really loves it here with us. Lots of toys, plenty of room, plenty to eat and a brother & sister that love him. What more could he want!! Oh yeah - plenty of things to climb on!! Got that too!!

O'Malley's integration went fairly smooth. As normal, we didn't know for sure but were hopeful. When we brought him in the house for the first time, Lennox & Azul both caught a glimpse of O'Malley. I have no doubt that Lennox told Azul what was going on as the last time both of us were gone overnight, Azul came home with us.

For the first couple of days we kept O'Malley isolated in his safe area. He got lots of attention from us while there. His little purr box sounds like a weed-eater and goes most all the time!! On the third day, we put up a baby gate at one of the doors so Lennox and Azul could get a controlled and supervised peek at O'Malley. Lennox seemed okay but she definitely defined the parameters of her space to the new kid. Azul really didn't warm up very well at first. This really surprised us both as he has been heartbroken and depressed since we lost his good buddy Keegan early this year. We get up early and Keegan and Azul would play, play, play early in the morning and then off to a nap together every morning. Lennox isn't a morning person so everything changed without Keegan. Every morning Azul stares up the staircase waiting on his buddy Keegan. He never comes down. Been really heartbreaking for all of us.

On the fifth night O'Malley was here, I heard something in the middle of the night and it woke me up. I got out of bed, walked into our great room. Still a little foggy from just waking up, I thought I saw a dark streak and then a white flash go by me full speed. A couple seconds later, here came O'Malley up to me just purring away!! And then Azul came up to me just purring away!! Both zoom zooms were on the loose!! We had every door to O'Malley's safe space secured every night as we really wanted to monitor his first week of integration. The only thing we can figure is that Azul went upstairs and opened one of the doors to O'Malley's safe space. O'Malley isn't big enough to open a door yet. The reason we think this is that is what Lennox did for Azul when we adopted him!! It's worked out great both times!!.

Azul and O'Malley are already the best of buds. Eat together, sleep together and play together between naps. Even Lennox is interacting with O'Malley well and playing - occasionally. Special thanks to foster Debi as she has selected all our fur babies for us. Debi's the best!! We are all really happy here at the Coomer house - especially our fur babies!! They are all getting along and playing together better than we could have ever hoped. Even Lennox!! Enjoy the pictures and thanks to all at Siamese Rescue for the thankless task each of you perform every day. You all have brought joy to our household for years and years!! Thanks!!

Can you spell mischief? Well if you can I would bet we would get along purrfectly! I love to climb, play, eat, purr...did I say climb & play? I'm keeping my foster meowm giggling with my antics! I just like to have some fun..what's wrong with that??!!!

I'm just plain adorable!

Cole was renamed to Koko and is doing well with his big sister Phoebe. He's a little purr bunny and quite mischievous.

We are celebrating his 1 yr.anniversary today. He is very healthy - sometimes I call him Chunky Monkey - he's a tank! He loves to chase and fetch his favorite toy! And he is still a huge cuddler. He is my heart.

Phoebe is the most wonderful little girl! She is the friendliest Siamese I have ever owned and keeps me laughing. She is giving my Fitbit a heck of a workout. She is my heart!

Sorry it has been so long since I updated. Phoebe's health issues have been resolved with the help of a wonderful vet in Richmond. She has a little brother to play with and love on and is anxiously awaiting him to grow out of kitten hood.

Phoebe has been with me for a little over a year - I wonder how I lived without her. She is doing well healthwise and seems happy. I love her too much - if that's possible.
