Ember is adjusting well and is quite the outgoing gal. She's more fearless than her brother, but he's warming up nicely too. She is loads of fun!
Ember continues to grow and entertain us! She is a delight and has bonded well with Finn. She is also getting darker and growing so much--she's probably doubled her weight since we've had her and she still acts like she's "starving" to try to get more food, LOL.
Ember has been such fun, she's so inquisitive and active!
Ember is very curious! She does drive us a little crazy with her getting into everything (especially the computer cords on my of daughter's computer!), but she also sits on your lap or right beside you and is very demanding for attention.

I know you are probably thinking "why is such a gorgeous young meezer boy hanging out on this website so long" and the answer is that I'm being picky!!
If you are looking for a young man with tons of energy to burn, then I'm your guy. I need to play, I need to race and run about...get out that wand toy, get out that laser pointer and let's have some fun.
Come on, ask about me! Foster Pops really wants to see me be in a home of my own without any feline competition for attention. (I'm tiring the old guy out...so much fun.) I'm looking forward to hearing from you. Gotta run and catch those sunbeams.
On my part I promise to be good to the furniture, to always use the kitty box, and to follow you around when you come home to talk to you about your day.

Simba is doing great. He is much loved. We are having such a good time with him. He owns this house we are just guest. Now that it is warm and the windows are open he is in every one of them checking out the scene. I can't imagine my life without him. He is such a delight. I am amazed how far he has come. Cuddles with us, talks up a storm. And when Stella my sister-in-law's dog visits Simba is in total control. He is in charge and this is his home. He is just full of it. Fresh fresh fresh and I love that about him. Fun to come home to greet me every night at the door. Best choice I ever made adopting Simba.
A lot has happened this past year. Simba caught his first mouse,we were so proud of him. He spends most nights hunting on mom's side of the house that seems to be where they get in. He has got lucky twice. The second mouse we were able to rescue and release outside. He is up most nights on the prowl comes to bed early morning to cuddle and have his belly rubbed. Loves to be in the kitchen when we are cooking always hoping for a hand out, he has no problem letting us know what he wants. If he thinks he is being ignored he will whack you in the legs then take off it is his form of tag. He had his vet check up and Houdini managed to get out of the carrier and crawl all over the car, use ties to keep the carrier closed on the way home. He seemed OK once we got back in the car to go home I wonder if he thought we were giving him away. Like that is ever going to happen he is family now.
It's hard to believe two years have passed Simba has truly evolved into the cat he was always met to be. He is quite a character. He rules the house and is truly an Alfa male,he is not afraid of Stella my sister in laws sheltie when she is here he keeps her in her place. He has nailed Stella a few times so she is wary of him it is funny to watch them work out their turf.The only time they call a truce is when food is being prepared and they are side by side begging.
Simba now ventures out when we have guest,he even lets of them pet him, he has come a long way and feels very safe in his home. He now cuddles with both of us sleeping between us at night. Bird watching is still his favorite pass time,he loves it when the turkeys come close to the house,tail twitching and chirping. We both truly enjoy him.

Hard to believe it’s been four years since we adopted Simba, he is doing great a funny little dude keeps us laughing best birthday present ever.

Notes from Home
"MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR TO MY OLD FRIENDS AT THE SIAMESE RESCUE CENTER"" from Ling Ling in Duluth, GA. Has it been a year already? No snow here but Pops and I are going to put up our display this weekend. I promised him that I wouldn't climb in the tree, bat the Christmas ornaments across the living room or eat the lower branches so we'll have a tree this year! We'll see how long I can avoid the temptation. I get lots of exercise playing with my feather wand, pinp pong balls, soft toys and a rag tag yellow puff ball. I have created an indoor track around the coffee table and love to zip around it as if chasing a mouse. I get lots of scratching time on my PetSmart cardboard scratch boards. Just before Thanksgiving, I visited Dr. Lauren at the Sugarloaf Animal Hospital for my annual checkup and shots. I decided to spend a few days to allow Pops to visit his daughter in CO. It's nice for a girl to catch up with old friends and meet new aquaintances once in while. Nevertheless, it was nice when he came to pick me up and take me home again. My checkup went well. No problems reported and my weight was 5.7lbs. Down .2 lbs from last year's checkup. My eating is normal. No kitty littler box problems, This girls is doing just fine...purrfect, you might say!!!
No issues to report in my relationship with Pops. He takes good care of me and gives me all the lap time aka as TLC I demand. I usually catch naps on the top of the sofa, the chair in the computer room or the foot of Pops' bed. I make sure he gets up early in the morning on days he has dialysis and we sleep a little later on the other days.
Well, that's about all the news in this neck of the woods. Have a purrrrfect holiday season. Keep up the great work you do finding loving homes for my friends. I'll send some pictures of me after the holidays. Now where are those Christmas tree ornaments???

Play, run, jump ....FOOD!!!! I love Food! I dive right in, no really, I do. I stand in the dish and rub my face in the food. I love Food!!! then there is toys. I like krinkle balls, the krinkle tunnel and wand toys. Do you want to play with me? I like cuddles too so don't forget that. But you know what else I like, Sage. I just met him but he is really nice. We take kitty naps together.

Lilac loves her boy toy, Sage. They love to run, play, eat together and snuggle up in the Millie Bed together. She is a very curious cat, always on the move. She prefers not to be held, but will allow me to. Both the kittens love Harley, the big yellow lab that visits once in a while. He loves them also.

I like to run, chase and wrestle with other kitties. I also like to just relax on a comfortable spot and spend time with my human. I am outgoing and friendly. wand toys and the crinkle tunnel are my favorite toys.

Sage loves his gal pal, Lilac. They run around and play together, but then he loves to sit on my lap and be affectionate. Both he and Lilac will greet me at the door when I get home from work. They really are a joy.
