LILLY
Wow....what changes I've had to go through! I had a home, one home, for all of my 2 years, I was Queen of my castle. Then one day, my owner put me in the dreaded cat carrier, took me to the vet, said something about "foreclosure" and left me there! I didn't get a chance to say goodbye!
But now everyone is telling me that the worst is over, and that my new forever family is waiting for me right now...is that true?
I sure do hope so, because I really want a loving family of my own again....forever this time. I am an elegant, neat, dainty, and right now, a little bit scared Diva who is as classic as they come. You can just picture me with the ancient Egyptians, ruling over the land with them. You won't find a more classic Siamese than me...and I've young too! Heck, I'm really just a kitten still, with my creamy pale coat, sleek lines and dark points. Not to mention my big, blue blue eyes!
I'm sweet and loyal, and waiting for you! So ask about me....you know you want to!

Notes from Home
Well finally I found this place! I think Tori is smater than me. Well it has been about 2 and a half weeks we have been together and an interesting time it has been. Tori is the most demanding Siamese I have ever come across. She is a little miss that knows her mind. Right now she has bulled her way onto my lap and is watching me type.

We have bonded very well, but the dog is another story. They are both trying to be "top dog". I am very suprised the Shadow (the dog) does not back down and neither does she. He wants to play and SHE wants nothing to do with playing with him. She loves to play and chases her mouse and string shaker or whatever it is called, day and night. I do hope that sometime they will at least tolerate each other. Every other cat and dog we have had together the "cat" has always been the boss. So it will be a match of wills that is going to go on, any guesses who will win?

She has not had her vet appointment yet as everything and everybody lost their power due to "tropical storm Irene" We will be going next Wednesday. I found that she loves to play and shred plastic bags so I am working on changing the things we store stuff in, I am voting for RUBBER boxes. Well just a little adjustment, at least she doesn't eat sweaters or blankets or anything made from wool or acrilyc, like my last meezer, but they will have to go into packing crates, Ha Ha!

Well pictures will be coming soon as my ipod touch does not have a very good camera, need the real deal that needs to be charged. Well all from here. Thank you all who helped make this match possible everyone was great and so responsive and caring. Meow from Claudette and Tori

It's benn a long time 4 years. Tori is now Lily and she is a terrorist. She is by far the funniest, talkative and brashest Siamese we have ever had. She developed kidney disease several years ago but with her special foods and frequent checkups she does pretty well. We've had several crisis but with home fluids, antibiotics and appetite stimulants we have brought her through. She is lots of fun and is a real joy to have. She is a little Daddy's girl that's the first time in his life that a cat takes to him. He's the dog person. As for the dog they ignore each other though sometimes she will go and rub up against him and he's dumbfounded. All in all we are doing great! So long from here. Lily says night too 😻🙋

Lily is still doing ok and is being a brat, but she is loved to death. She had a sad time this year as her Paw passed away last month. She has a new friend though, Paws daughter Connie is staying for awhile and grandson Liam is here which she loves. Lily still has kidney disease but only had one bout this past year so hopefully she stats healthy. She still has her Shadow which she loves very much but can terrorize every once in a while. Out house is more quiet now, but she makes us all happy. Lily is right here now laying next to me wondering what I am doing. She wishes everyone happy summer and a fun fall. Love from Lily and Mom 😻🙋

MING LI
Just arrived and I had that "Spa" treatment everyone talks about. You know It really wasn't bad. Don't know why everyone complains. Well the water part wasn't fun but the nice warm towels after how nice. the manacure wasn't too bad either and the lap time with free massage. Awwwww just heaven!. I'm the new kid. On the block now but just so you know I kinda I mean really like those laps and those massages that come with lap time. I have met the other cats one is nice the other hisses but I am fine I just walk away from Hissy and made friends with the nice one. I need more of that so ask about me AndI.
P.S. I LOVE kittens so you could pick me and a kitten like Echo or Gerti and you would have a great pair.
Notes from Home
Ming Li is strikingly marked with beautiful blue eyes that penetrate into your soul, very sweet tempered, polite, tidy in her litter box, quiet, playful. Comes when I call her. Although she has been here but four days, she has completely won my heart. As Foster Mom Shirley stated, she loves anything that rolls. She also loves The Cat Sitter Video.
36 days ago I adopted Jersey/Chin (Foster Mom LaShawn from IN).
Today, four days here, Ming & Chin were introduced. Ming immediately became quietly in charge, batting & hissing at Chin when he wanted to play too close to her. Otherwise, they were quite compatable, trading back & forth on the various strings that I used for play with them. Ming was relaxed and playful, unperturbed with Chin. Very good for an initial intro.

8/22/15This petite little gal looks like she could be an stand in for the "Got Milk?' billboard as her mouth the area around her mouth looks like a cream colored moustache contrasted with Tortie Pts speckling on her face. To know Ming Li/Andi is to love her. She is so polite, grounded, quiet, balanced, loves attention & petting, happily play with her toys, eats her chosen Primal Freeze Dried Chicken & Salmon, continues to work on winning the good graces of her companion 9 yr lilac siamese companion. She respects him.remaining quietly attentive. Each time that I pet her, I just feel peaceful and grateful to have rescued her. I know why Auntie Shirley told me that she was a definite favorite at the her home.

9/21/15 "To know her is to love her" and I do more each day. Delightfully chasing her toys; continuously perching on varied window ledges to spy an insect, chipmunk, bird, etc.; scaling up to her chosen highest cat tree perch past her ''now amused buddy", 9 yr Lilac Liu Chen; affectionately checking on me regularly day and night; following me from room to room; there is but one repeated request from this wonderful little gal: "Feed me, more and often, as much Primal Freeze Dried Chicken & Salmon & Turkey as I can happily eat" (she must have a high metabolism as she can eat as much as protein as recommended for two cats without seeming to gain any extra weight). I love at her amusing, polite, affectionate behaviors day and night, and do not know how I lived without her.

4/18/16 I just love this cat!! And so does everyone else who meets her. She comes running to greet me and all visitors with high pitched mews while rolling over to present her belly for petting. Ming Li follows me everywhere, is most polite, affectionate, never exhibits her claws except to climb her Ultimate Cat Tree (Chewies.com). Ming is very playful. If it rolls she is on it. She spends her day running from one bird feeder window view to another; loves the uppermost perch of her cat tree; chases her beloved Lavender Siamese friend Liu Chen through the house, keeping the old boy up to snuff. If the patio screen or door did not block her pursuit, she would have any chipmunk that comes into close proximity. She is also Queen of Insect Patrol. Did I fail to mention that everyone comments on her unique Oriental Short Hair Tortoise shell markings & how beautiful Ming Li is?! I tell my "little Missy" daily how very blessed and happy I am to have her as my companion.

8/19/16 I continue to just love this cat. I thank you Foster Mom Shirley B. for all your suggestions and expertise. Ming is the perfect cat for me and my 11 year old male Lilac Siamese. Ming is delightful and full of joy. I repeatedly laugh at her antics: running back and forth to view all birds out assorted windows, playing with her toys, (like Shirley told me, if it rolls she chases it). This includes Liu Chen who loves it. Ming's favorite toy is her tunnel filled with assorted toys that she pushes across the floor, sending the toys and tunnel flying!! At night, Ming sleeps on a high cat tree perch to view any outside window activity. As soon as I awake, she jumps onto the bed to politely greet me and flops her body along side mine for ear and neck scratching along with numerous kisses. Ming also calms my territorial male Siamese down when he sees another cat outside the window as she simply looks and does not react so his hissing and howling ends very quickly. I must continue to monitor her eating amounts (I continue to use The Missing Link / thank you, Shirley) as she outweighs Liu Chen. My vet diagnosed Ming 6/30/16 during her one year visit as having Feline Herpes so I give her Viralys L-Lysine twice daily. My precious Ming Li is a wonderful companion. To know her is to love her.

HEAVY T
Hi everyone,

I started out life with an owner, but then for some reason he moved and left me to fend for myself. Thank goodness there were a pair of rescue angles who came to my aide, fed me, and called Siamese Rescue. They said they would have kept me, but their existing cat kept beating me up and they wanted the best for me, so here I am.

Next stop, forever home. Maybe yours?

LUNA (AKA ASIA)
Attractive traditional seal point Siamese seeking loving family for purrs, cuddles and supervision of daily activities.

Luna is very people oriented and enjoys participating in activities like housework or scooping the litter boxes. She is moderately vocal and has a passion for Party Mix treats and watching the "tasty" songbirds outside her window. She is gentle around respectful children and loves to be brushed and fussed over. She will sit in laps or nearby - a true companion kitty. Luna is not super needy but is a mellow girl who enjoys being around her family.

Luna is healthy, has excellent manners and true Siamese cattitude. She will make an exceptional friend and companion.

Notes from Home
Luna (aka Asia) is already integrated as a full member of our family. She stayed in a room for about 24 hours, but she was so well adjusted, we couldn't bear keeping her cooped up anymore. We had great fun escorting her on her full tour of the house. She is a super confident cat, no hiding here at all! So while it would have been way too early for some cats, it has worked out for us.
I adore her slightly silly love of being where we are at all times. She loves to play, knows food times, tolerates medicine like a champ, tolerates "no" with the quietest little hiss I have ever heard, and forgives any offense instantly. We adore Luna and can't wait to see how she acts when she knows us better.
Thank you to anyone who helped getting Luna out of the shelter and into her new home!

Notes from Home
A year has past since the day I excited drove with my friend to pick up my newest family member Sushi (known then as Suzie). She continues to bring so much love and happiness in to my day. When I get home from work she runs and greets me at the door ( I think it might have something to do with the fact she will get some food). She loves to eat and drink and will make sure she finishes her step sister's food if left behind. She is a clean plate member. She will always be near and when she wants to be petted she will provide me with a gentle head butt, and if I don't provide her attention immediately they become a bit more forceful so that she will ensure I can't do any other task then pet her. Though she is not a snuggle bunny she does enjoy being near and always with in reach when needed. I can't say enough about how much i love this cat and how grateful I am that I was able to provide her a forever home. She stole my heart with her blue eyes and long hair in the picture and continues to fill my heart with love. Thank you for all you do and for all the cats you have found wonderful homes for! Continue the great work that you all do!!

THE DOCTOR
I like to wrestle with Merlot my foster buddy. She thinks that just cause she's a girl I'll cut her some slack. Not happening! So if you got a buddy I could wrestle with or if you are looking for a pair, then ask about me and even Merlot. Cause she's alright for a girl.
Notes from Home
Urchin, now known as "The Doctor," has fit in very well at home. He and the resident cat are buddies and spend way too much time people-watching out the windows. :)

Update: August 2016:
My vet says that the Doctor is the ideal cat. He is a good weight (11 lbs) and is very gentle for exams and nail trimmings. He LOVES watching birds at the window feeder and playing with fresh catnip from the garden.

PEANUT
Seems like I have gone from place to place to place and I can't find my forever home. There is nothing not to like about me. I am pretty, I am friendly, I am sweet, I'm playful, I am just purrfect. I love people, I love cats. I am all ready to go home if I could just find it.....
Notes from Home
We have changed Lody's name to Peanut, which she responds to very well. Peanut has gained alot of confidence and seems comfortable in our home now. She is getting along with both of our other cats, and is very playful. She is really starting to relax and is realizing that this is her forever home.

December 2013: Peanut is totally comfortable in our home now - very sweet and energetic, loves to cuddle and be loved on, but also is ready to play at any time. She gets along great with our 2 male cats, and is just a cool kitty.

August 2014: Peanut has been a part of our family for 1 year now! She is doing fantastic - she is comfortable and confident, playful, loving, and has the cutest meow!

August 2015: Two years! Peanut is just a joy, and so loving! Enjoys naps in the sunshine, watching birds out the windows, sitting and sleeping in our laps, and just being with us and our two other cats. Very successful adoption!

August 2016: Three years and Peanut is doing wonderful. She is totally confident in her forever home, gets along well with our two male cats, loves to nap in the sunshine, play, and snuggle with her humans. Very loving and fun kitty!

SIMBA
Foster Mom has started calling me, "Sunshine the Almost Brave". I feel safe hanging out under the futon but come out immediately for Foster Mom. I love attention - petting, brushing, cuddling...bring it on. I do have a very loud Siamese voice and Foster Mom says that I'm sure not afraid to use it. I wouldn't have to use it if she would stop paying attention to those cats on the other side of the foster room door and spend all her time with me.

If you'd like to spend all your time with me, click that button and ask about me!
Notes from Home
Hello! I just wanted to let you know that Simba is doing wonderfully! We recently moved into my new house in Ithaca and he adjusted very well. He loves exploring the big house! He often sleeps with me at night and recently has met my roommate's, Hayley's, cat, Spidey. They got along fairly quickly and now run around the house together playing. Simba is a social butterfly and lets everyone in the house know he always wants attention! I will send new pictures soon. Hope everything is well with you all.
