PRIMA
Scared little one, she was found on the side of the road very close to traffic. Good Sam thought she might have been hit but she wasn't., She got her name because she was afraid and got up in the dash of the Good Sam's car. She had someone take it apart and get her out. That is how she got her name. Better pictures will come.

Prima aka Dash is really doing great. I am currently in the process of scheduling her annual physical. She has come a long way since last year. She was a very timid cat when we got her a year of spoiling has really turned her around. She has become a daddys cat. She sleeps on her fathers feet legs back anywhere she wants. She even gets into tuffs with her brother Igloo last week Igloo was sitting on my chest she came over swatted him he got off me and looked at me with the expression what the hell happened?? At feeding time she the littlest cat has the loudest meow. She even lets Patty my wife pet her.

TITUS
I'm a bit under the weather right now - it's been a long tough road! But I'm very slowly feeling better, even enough that I might be able to have a bath this week and then hopefully see Dr. Reinhold so I'll be set to go. Hard to know much about me yet though I truly am a nice guy, but until I shake this cold I've been kind of busy blowing my nose...

Notes from Home
14 Years Later...
The Meezer Express helped Titus come live with me in Boston and, not long after, his gnarly cold totally cleared up (though he did have lingering, mild asthma throughout his life). He was renamed Osiris, immediately gained a ton of weight, and dearly loved making all of my cushions shaped like him by sleeping on them obsessively.
Over the roughly 14 years I shared my life with him, he came along with me to live in four different states (Massachusetts, Washington, California, and Oregon), got to grant his approval to my now husband, and later was surprisingly tolerant of our baby/toddler's over-exuberant attention... even in his crotchety senior years.
He fiercely loved his food (like, more than anything in the whole world) and had a ridiculous, oddball personality that everyone I know fondly remembers. He used to steal socks out of the laundry and hide them in weird places, happily dragged throw pillows to all corners of the house, and loved to sleep on his back like a beached whale. When I found a tiny semi-feral kitten and brought her home, he immediately decided that he was her mother and dutifully picked her up and led her around the house until she was comfortable with us. He loved to head butt and snuggle, would lovingly groom my husband's hair, and convinced at least one hardcore "dog person" friend that she actually did like cats after all.
He passed away on June 5th, 2018. We always used to joke that he was going to live forever, and I think part of me believed it. I really miss him, but I'm so happy that I got the chance to spend such a long time with such a rad cat. Thank you all for bringing us together! <3

JEMIMA
Same old story, owner turned me in. Why, I do not know, something about moving, I guess there must be a state that does not allow cats as I am really the most loving cat you will find, just don't try to restrain me. Was it my talkative personality, ok some people like quiet cats, I am not one. I like to tell you about my day. Was it because I liked petting too much, hey that is me. I want to get and give loving. I am a Tonkinese with the most beautiful fur you will ever find. For some of you who do not know what a Tonkinese is it is a cross between a Siamese and a Burmese. We have the best of both in us, we are a little denser body shape and a shorter face but have the Siamese voice. We are firmly convinced that humans are put on earth to love us...... so how is that different than any cat?

Notes from Home
Jemima is 11 yrs old now and still playful as ever. We have moved to the Villages in Florida and we both waited patiently for our belongings to arrive after 3 full weeks. But all is well with Jemima now. She has had her annual and shots before the move so we are Good to go. Her records transfer with Banfield.
I continue to consider a companion for her and various cats come and go that I care for some time to find homes but she seems to be OK on her own .
6/14/16. Jemima is 12y now and doing fine. Loves sleeping on the enclosed lanai or on my chest!. Still playful though not s demanding of play time s she us d to be. I belong to the new Villages Cat Crazy club and love how we rescue and help out the cmmty cats. I always wonder if Jemima needs. Companion but she seems fine alone. Have had visitors with dogs and she is not particularly bothered by them. I have a new email and address.
6/7/18 Jemima is 14y now. . Still active and playful. Seems thinner as she gets older. Remains the queen of the house. Has accepted having Baboo around but makes no attempt to play with him, wheras he still tries.but defers to her wishes. She certainly has more energy and wakeful time than Baboo. She remains healthy and i am hopeful will be with me for many more years. So lovee.
(Sorry , out of sequence)
6/7/17. Jemima is tolerating having Baboo share her home though she doesn,t like it. She is queen bee of course and commandeers my chest, lap ,neck as soon as i sit down. The have a short chase session most evenings which she ends while Baboo calls for more. Sometimes they swat at each other at the end. She does allow him to get closer to me sometimes. She is healthy but slowed down a little. Does not jump on high up furniture anymore. Still insistes i wake up early to give her attention, starts by 4am.

ZOE
Out on my own. I was obviously loved once, but my owners are no where to be found, and they didn't bother to get me spayed. I am outgoing, good in the car, chatty, and like just about everyone I have met so far. Dogs are not my favorite thing. Don't let my looks deceive you. Better pictures will show that I have a nice fluffy tail and that once I have had lots of TLC my coat is going to fill out and I will be a tad fluffy. I am a winner.

Notes from Home
Jillian braved the torrential downpours of tropical storm Alberto to make her way from Foster Mom Julie to her new home in Richmond, VA. Thanks to meezer express volunteer Candice, who also traversed North Carolina in the rain to deliver us Jillian! Thanks to you all for caring for her so much.
Jillian has integrated and adjusted to her new home better than expected - now has freedom to move around the house and loves looking outside the windows and napping just about anywhere. She's the quietest petite Siamese I've ever seen, with the tiniest meow. She's eating and drinking well and her coat has improved greatly.
Today, was her Vet Vist, and Dr. Kathy came by to do her exam. Jillian is doing quite well for a 3 year old kitty, and there were no concerns, aside from a left weepy eye. Think this may be a herpes virus, so we'll do some eye drops for the next couple days to see if that helps. It's not bothersome to Jillian, as she just loves to play with her toy mouse! All in all, great vet visit!
I'll update with some photo's soon.

Notes from Home
Once I got my little boy, I decided to change his name from Frankie Blue Eyes to Vinnie. I have been involved in my genealogical research for some time and found I had two grandfathers named Vincent, hence my Vinnie.
Vinnie seems to love his new home. It did not take him long to get adjusted, even after his long trip to Virginia from Kentucky. He is eating very well, in fact too much. His stomach is getting really large so I think I will have to change his diet (now eating Ideal Balance with no grains). His current food now contains potatoes, so I believe that may be the culprit. Today I will search for another non-grain food that may be better for him.
Vinnie has one bad habit that I am still hopeful I will be able to correct. Whenever I play with him he wants to bite me, not harshly but a bite nonetheless. I say a loud NO to him (the spray water bottle never seems to be close by) and he stops but he wants to do this every time. I'm not quite sure what else I can do in this regard. Any suggestions would be helpful.
I'll try to post a new picture soon.
12/5/2013
Vinnie is a wonderful cat and has become my best buddy! His litter habits are exemplary and he has lots of energy. I have noticed that sometimes when he wants to get my attention he nips at my heel. I'm pleased to say that his former habit of biting has subsided substantially, but he does still want to nip when he gets too excited when we are playing. I am learning, though, to leave him alone when I see that his excitement level is going up.
We have traveled to N.C. twice and he has done very well in the car. He loves the stairs at the house there and I hear the patter of his feet several times during the night.
He is extremely curious and wants to explore everything he comes in contact with. You can see this in the pictures I have posted! I' m now looking forward to going to N.C. for Christmas. Let's hope Vinnie doesn't want to do too much exploring with the Christmas tree!!
June 6, 2015
I just rechecked Vinnie's birthdate and he will be 3 years old on September 8. He now has a sister, a Siamese Tortie named Julianna. They get along fine but sometimes I wonder if they do not play too hard. But when they seem to be fighting, one will run away from the other and then both just calm down in separate corners. She is a big eater and pushes ahead of him at the food bowl. He just lifts his head like a good gentleman and goes back after she has finished!
I will try to learn how to put a picture of my handsome boy on this page on his birthday. Wish me luck!

Willow is a sweet, sassy girl looking to be the only cat in a household that will shower her with love. She has never met a stranger and has never found a lap that she didn't love! If you are looking for a cuddle bug, Willow is the girl for you.

Notes from Home
4/2/18 Willow was very nervous her first few hours home. We gave her space, and she warmed right up! The last two mornings she has heard my alarm, sniffed my face, and meowed for breakfast. Her favorite spot during the day and at night is our big bed! She especially likes snuggling with my husband, which he is very much enjoying. After her morning breakfast, she sits and watches our guinea piggies (live cat tv!). She has already found a place in our hearts.
4/7/18 Willow is such a sweetheart! She snuggles with my husband and I in the evening right between us. Then she sleeps at the foot of our bed. She wakes us up to be fed pretty early, and then goes in her "quiet chair" where she warms herself up in the sun when the kids are waking up. She meows at us when she sees we are leaving-so funny!
4/17/18 This cat is well-loved. Our children go to find her each time we come home from an errand, when they wake up, and before they fall asleep for the night. She is hilariously vocal when she acts like she hasn't eaten in days. ;) The vet gave her a good report, was very pleased with our kidney-care food choice, and suggested that she keep losing weight. We limit her meals, but boy is it hard to limit those treats to just a few! Our three kids each like to give her 2 small treats about 1 million times a day-ha! So, we are trying our best to keep her weight at least the same, if not less. She is spending a lot of time in our main kitchen area instead of just in our bedroom. I think this is the final sign that she has really settled in. Her favorite spot is our big yellow braided rug in the middle of the kitchen where she sprawls out to see all the action (and watch the guinea pigs).
6/4/18 Willow is full of spunk, hilarious, and a cuddlbug! She has found some favorite spots throughout the house: a spot in my closet, a lookout on my bed (and curled next to me at her daily 4:15am cuddle time), a blue chair in our upstairs reading nook where the sun shines in, and on top of the couch where she can look out the window. My piano students always give her a pat hello each lesson, and our kids are forever giving her treaties. I think the vet is going to say she has gained a bit of weight since the treats are flying out of the box! She is eating, drinking, and sleeping well. She really has the cats-meow of a life. Willow has added so much to our home, and we are very thankful for her.

Just arrived. More information soon.

Notes from Home
Jovie is doing very well! The shy little kitten who came home is blossoming into a real tiger. She's still a bit nervous around new people and isn't sure what to think of the dog sometimes, but around the family is a complete doll.
Introductions with Luca went so much better than we ever could have expected. The two of them spent days talking with each other under the door and when they finally met face to face it was love at first sight! They are best friends and we always see them playing together and cuddling in their basket.
6/3/18
Jovie loves nothing more than to tear around the house like a crazy thing chasing a toy, her big brother Luca, or her tail! She is still a little shy and will not jump up into our laps for attention, but she does love cuddling up next to her favorite person on their bed for a nap. She just recently started venturing into the living room to check out what is going on and has even hopped up onto the couch with us a few times, so she may very well end up being a lap cat eventually! She has also become quite the little helper/supervisor, especially in the kitchen! No food gets made or dishes cleaned without her sharp eyes keeping track of what is going on. We just love her sweet personality. It has only been a little over two months, but we already can't imagine living without her or her big brother Luca!
