Play play play right away! That's me! I'm an 8 pound kitten who doesn't always know the rules, but I'm learning fast! I'm outgoing and personable and busy and active and yes, can get a bit overstimulated from time to time, so I need a patient experienced Meezer owner! I don't think I'm going to mind other cats and probably will need one or two to play with, but I"ll let you know that as soon as I spring this ISO time I have to do! Meantime, life seems pretty fun!

Notes from Home
Coda has been home for just about three months already, and we wanted to check in to say hi and tell you how great things are going. He is a huge ball of siamese energy and loves loves loves to play with all of his many toys! Playing with his favorite feather boa (that he came home with, so thank you for that!) comes second only to sitting in the doorway and talking about all of the happenings outside. He is great with strangers, kids and even other cats, and likes to say hi to everyone that walks past open windows on sunny days. He's having an absolute blast running up and down stairs (and on and off the couch, and on and off the coffee table, and on and off just about everything...). He's even starting to find his siamese voice, which is a hysterical high pitched squeal that sounds a bit like an out of tune alarm clock. We're still working on some behavior issues, but he has a huge heart and wants so badly to be a good kitty that it's impossible to stay frustrated with him for very long.

Overall things are just wonderful, and we are both very grateful that he finally found a new home to keep him safe and warm. He is bringing lots of joys and smiles to everyone he meets and I know there are lots of great times ahead of us!

All the best to all of you, and thank you again for everything ~purrs and hugs ~~ Coda & Jessie

JACK
Poofy Kat! That's me! I'm a busy player, slight talker, good in my habits, and like to have a good time. Despite my smaller stature, don't pair me with any shy or victim cats, I need someone who wants to rock and roll with me! Regular brushing keeps me beeyooteeful and lots of toys keeps me loving life! All around happy go lucky, though I don't like those woofers!

Notes from Home
Jack (formerly P.K.) is doing very well. He's getting along well with Charlotte, the resident Siamese female, and has adjusted to my new house. And he loves to nap in the big chair.

KODI
A big old loving lug of a cat, I wind around your legs, chat with you and am quite outgoing and friendly. I've had a lot of different homes in just a few years through no fault of my own, and I'm looking for one where I can settle down, into a routine, into some love, into a lap! I'm a bigger friendly goofy guy, and I don't bring a whole lot of baggage, so it won't take me that long to unpack and move right into your heart and home! (dog inexperienced)

Notes from Home
It's been exactly two weeks today and Glen Isle -- now Kodi -- has intergrated amazingly well. He's such a mellow boy and sleeps with us now. His new sister (11 yr old Lilly) stills hisses at him occasionally when she remembers that she's supposed to be mad at him, but they actually sniffed nose to nose yesterday. Am sending a photo of him at one of his favorite spots. A huge Thank You to everyone who had a hand in bringing Kodi into our family!!!

REESIE
Rolypoly sweet little girl. I'm Reesie, and I'm busy growing and playing and doing all that other great kitten stuff. I am one cool little girl. Foster mom should know how I interact with other cats very soon! Check out my new pics!

Notes from Home
09/28/2010-Reesie is the perfect addition to our family. She is a great kitty! She is growing and wearing Doodle out on a daily basis. Doodle acts more like a daddy than a brother to Reesie, she hates having to be still so she fusses a bit when she gets her nails trimmed Doodle comes running everytime wanting to know what I'm doing to her...it's so cute!

08/19/2010-Reesie is doing awesome! She is so full of energy and always ready to play. Her vet appointment was this morning and even vaccines didn't slow her down! Dr. Anderson said she looked great and healthy! Reesie met her brother Doodle last night it went great no hissing no gowling just sniffing from her and Doodle...I was so excited for the smooth meeting! I was going to wait longer but Doodle was protesting, he would stand in front of Reesie's door every morning at 5AM and cry! I don't think he knows what to do with her yet, she is just running circles around him! It's so funny to watch him just sits as still as can be as she zooms around the room like lighting. Reesie is so sweet, she loves to snuggle my neck and give me kisses! I can't wait to watch her grow!

Notes from Home
Gidget took no time at all to become accustomed to her new surroundings. She immediately ate well and was curious and friendly. Her only frustration in the first week was her desire to play with her new brother who was on the other side of the door. They have found each other now, and they romp most of their waking hours. Gidget visited her new vet and made more friends and, of course, passed her examination with flying colors (as did her new brother Stanley).

Gidget has selected her person in the family as has Stanley, and she has taken posession of the home and all that is in it.

DEAN
I love everybody - strangers, kids, other kitties, and I will even try to be friends with a dog - IF I have to. If you have friends over, I will make friends too.
My foster Dad says he has never seen such big blue eyes before and my foster Mom agrees. Plus my Mom calls me her typical kitten as I just love to play and I do love it when you pet me or love on me - that's the best feeling ever. I know we would be very happy together - so ASK ABOUT ME and hurry as I am growing up fast.

No new pictures yet
Notes from Home
Dean is making himself quite at home with his new family. While dad calls him his "kitty gentleman' mom is calling him 'the terror'. I can no longer call him "little" as Dean has put on some weight and mass since arriving. He is never shy to let you know when you are not paying enough attention to him or when he feels it is time to feed him.

Dean will by no means be my lap cat, instead he is filling the "spastic" requirement set by mom. There seems to be some communication problems between us at the moment over the subject of sleep time. While Jill and I are firmly in the "night time is sleep time" camp, Dean is partial to a late afternoon snooze followed by a whirlwind marathon around the time mommy and daddy are going to bed.

9/26/10: His personality is coming along quite nicely. I recently was called away on sudden business for an extended period of time, something that I had not planned on. At first I was worried that we were not connecting or progressing at the pace I was hoping for, but updates from home seem to show that a connection was made. Before I left I made a small nest of clothing that I had worn in an area that Dean frequents, just as a little reminder to comfort him. Apparently he would sleep in that nest for the whole first week I was gone, now that I've been away a couple days he seems to have found mommy a fine replacement and has claimed part of the bed as his territory (which he defends from toe or leg invasion quite vigorously).

Ultimately he has found a way into our hearts and both Jill and I are so thankful to Siamese Rescue for all they have done. We look forward to Dean's brother joining us soon. Pics to follow. -John

Notes from Home
Macy is a wonderful kitty for our family. She has adapted very quickly and we love her very much! It's as if she's always been here. She is a good eater, good potty goer and is getting along extremely well with our other cat chloe. They are inseparable and play, romp and eat together all day! We were so happy that it all worked out so easily.

Many Thanks from the Horetsky Family!!!

Man am I glad to be out of that noisey shelter!! I am loving everything here! I especially love the pets and love I get here. I need a loving furever home.
P.S. I give the best headbumps ever.

I can't tell you how much I appreciate SCRC for allowing me to adopt Miss Missy. From the time she got out of her carrier, she made herself at home & immediately jumped on my lap when I sat down. I must admit, she is spoiled!! She keeps me laughing after work.

Thanks Again, Sherry Rainey

ps: computer comes & goes, will try to get picture to you soon!!

8/7/10: Indigo is doing excellent in his new home! He is very playful and active, and enjoys the full run of his new home. He is a very lovable kitty and a handsome little boy. He loves to play with anything that has a bell in it.

9/19/10: It's hard to believe that I have been at my new home for nearly 2 months now! I'm growing up fast, and I'm now around 6 months of age! I love coming into my mommy & daddy's room almost every morning to wake them up. I always come in purring, and wanting to be petted when I do wake them up. I also love to run, play, and hang out with my older sister Jazzy (She's a Tortie Siamese btw). I love to eat my meals with her, and I especially love to clean her. We're like two peas in a pod.

HANNAH
UPDATE: I'ts me again, Hannah, here to tell you that my sister and I are almost ready to go to our forever home. We are just about through with all our shots and vet care. i was very lucky and got through my medical scare with little trouble. I am veryhealthy now and would love to go to your forever home. Be srue to ask about Honey and me.
Purrs, headbutts and cuddles, Hannah

Hope you are having a sunny day like we are. I'm posing in the sunshine so Mama Katie could take my picture. I look a little bit "chunky" in this picture, but it's just the way I'm sitting. My littermate sister, Honey, and I are a bonded pair that have been through a lot. Somehow we got locked up in a basement and no one came to take care of us for a long time. We lost a lot of weight, got very dehydrated and had horrible fleas. BUT, you know what, everyone around us says now that we are two of the most loving cats they've ever known. We both LOVE to have lots and lots of attention, love to be petted and will jump up on the bed with you to sit in your lap or snuggle next to you just as soon as you sit or lie down. We both managed to get a bit of a shelter cold, but that hasn't stopped us from loving and being very grateful for everything we now have. Yes, I am a tortie, but there isn't a bit of "tortitude" in me - I am as easy going as my blue point sister. Because of all we've been through and since we seem to be very bonded, right now foster mom thinks we should go home together and I agree. How about you? Do you have a place in your heart and home for two LOVING and very SWEET sisters? Purrs, Headbutts and lots of Biscuits, Hannah

Notes from Home
Whew! I just got back from the vet for some shots and a check-up. I am up to 9 lbs! My Iams kibble is dee-licious! It's been about a year since I found my fur-ever family, and I continue to be a romping, stomping, playful tomboy. I like to paw at moths on the screen of the deck door and chatter at the birds that dare to fly into my yard. When I'm not playing, I can be found basking in the sunshine, belly-up. My fur has grown in very thick and I've started to show some of my tortie colors in the fur on my back. I still rule the household with sisters Honey and Tori, and brother Charlie as my loyal subjects.
