DIEGO
Foster meowmy thinks I'm funny and special. I like to play. Not so sure about the ceiling fan or when she stands up, but I can hang in there. You just might have to convince me a little, but foster meowmy says that is something I'll probably get over quickly.
If you're interested in finding out more about me and want to know what foster meowmy knows, send her an email!

Notes from Home
Greetings from Aiken, South Carolina. I absolutely love my new home! My foster mom sent me home with a bunch of toys and mom got more new toys and I absolutely love to play. My favorite thing to do is fetch! I also love to play and bat my mice underneath the oven and around closet doors. Mom sometimes finds 5-6 mice at a time under the oven or in the closet! I was a little worried when mom loaded me up in the carrier for my first vet appointment--I was afraid this was another temporary layover. I was so overjoyed when we got back home! I had to wait about a month for my little sis, Lupe, to come home, and now we have a blast running around and playing! It gives us such joy to see mom so happy after what happened with her last kitties. Don't be fooled by our napping pictures--we spend a lot (I mean a lot) of time playing. I finally met my grandmama a couple of weeks ago and she thought I reminded her of a little general--because of the way I march back when I fetch my mice. Well mom is helping me to finally give this long overdue update, but she has to feed us our very yummy most delcious raw food dinner! Bye bye for now. Diego

Notes from Home
Cane is such an awesome cat! It seems he grows more and more each day! He is starting to get a little more color on his points, especially on his tail. He still has LOTS of energy and likes to start at one each of the house and sprint to the other side and loves to jump from my couch to my bed (about a 3 foot jump)! I feel like anything I do he watches me with a very close eye and tries to figure out what I am doing. However, from all of the energy that he uses during the day, he always sleeps on the couch and under the fan and when he cools off he snuggles up next to me each night. Cane wants to greet anyone who walks in the door with a smile on his face! Cane is such a easy going cat that whenever he meets people who "are not cat" people, he changes their mind because they have never met such a wonderful cat before.
Cane is such a wonderful cat. He is a purring machine and LOVES his pets. He does well around other people and cats as well. He loves to watch the fish that I have in my room but has no interest in jumping on top of the tank or eating the fish. He likes to follow me around the house and watch whatever I am doing. Cane loves to also do wind sprints after the house after he used his litter box! Overall I love this cat to death!

LADY SIURI
I want the good life.
I've had enough of the other kind. I don't have many needs. Just some good food, maybe some kitty playmates, a rousing game with the wand toy, and to be a part of your life. I've been left a lot, and I just need that forever home with someone that cares. In return, I'll give you my adoration and companionship. I don't have much to say (at least here at foster-Mawm's) but when I do, I use a soft voice. Oh, and I'm perfect in my box too.
I forgot to tell you that I'm beautiful, young, healthy, petite and tall and lanky.
Why don't you check out my other photos - then click ask about me - we're right here waiting to write back!

Notes from Home
My new Mom calls me Lady now. I love that name because I am a true lady. I learned to sit nicely and shake my paw for the yummy treats. I also have a big huge papa san chair. Oh, have I told you that I am a smart lady? On the 3rd day after I went home with my new Mom, I learned how to open the door of the room she kept me in. Later, I figured out how to open my Mom & Dad's bedroom door so that I can sleep on their bed at night. Hehe, one night, I woke up my Daddy by licking his big nose. Wow, that was fun!
My Mom & Dad came home today and told me about this Mr. B who is coming to join our family soon. They said he is a sweet boy and he is very brave. Mom and Dad call him Mr.B because he is so Brave that he survived a BB shot. I can't wait for him to tell me his advantures!

TITUS
Will you hold me? I give hugs, kisses, and headbutts too! I LOVE people! My family says I slept in bed with them every night and am a very loving guy. I've been an only cat my whole life, and I won't be able to meet other cats here in my foster home until Sept. 20. I'll also be getting my teeth fixed in a few weeks, and then I'll be ready to go home. So if you're looking for a nice fellow who is very Siamese, ask about me today!
Hugs & Kisses,
Titus

Notes from Home
Thanks again for helping us find the "perfect" Siamese for us. Titus is doing very well. He is the best behaved and most loving guy. He loves to snuggle and is just content with being wherever you are! He has really grown attatched to my oldest son Camden. He sleeps with him at night unless he can get in my husband and I's bed first! He loves to go outside, so he now walks on a leash with a harness to "explore" some outside once in awhile. We also have an enclosed screened porch in which he loves to swing and soak up the sun. Feels like we have had him since birth! We try to enjoy each day we have with him. In the photos you will notice that he now has a sister, whom he loves to play with. Her name is Mazie and she is a 1yr. old miniature chihuahua. She has made a great playmate for Titus and has adjusted amazingly with her.

SHWEETIE
Happy New Year Everyone!
UPDATE FEB. 10: Happy New Year it is! It took exactly 8 months to the day but I finally loved on my foster meowm. To say she was thrilled is an understatement! I have to admit that I enjoyed it too, so much so I was chirping away! I even purred! I then flopped onto my side and let her rub my belly! I'm not sure what got into me but hopefully this is only the beginning of learning to trust again for me. Stay tuned and check out my new YouTube videos...I'm a MOVIE STAR!!!
I'm Shweetie and 1/2 of the Dynamic Duo. My mom and I are a bonded pair that need to be adopted together. Can you believe I'm 9 years old? We're affectionately called Meezer (Siamese) Geezers. Don't be fooled, were still spry and love running around our foster room. While my mom loves being up close and personal, I prefer to watch from afar so you will have to be a very special family that can accept a ghost kitty. In other words, you know something is there but you can only see it out of the corner of your eyes. Can you tell I'm a fan of Ghost Hunters?
Would you like to know more about me and my mom, Gladys? Let my foster meowm know by clicking on that button! Transport is available outside the northeast area to our pre-approved adopters homes, so ask about Meezer Express!
Blinks,
Shweetie

Foster Notes for SHWEETIE [VA6377] |
It took exactly 8 months for Shweetie to want attention from me. She loves having her back scratched, massaged and having her butt spanked. She will chirp with satisfaction.
Shweetie would do best in a small quiet apartment with very little activity. In a house, Shweetie will disappear and not be seen. She can be picked up and held, once caught, and have her claws trimmed easily. Shweetie needs a very special owner who has no expectations of her. She is an easy keeper with no medical issues. Shweetie must be adopted with her mom, Gladys. |

Notes from Home
April 18, 2010:
Shweetie, while still a shy girl, she has made significant progress. When the girls first got to their new home they found a cat tree in their new “Kitty Suite.†They used the condo in the tree to hide in and to sleep in. We could pet both the girls but Shweetie usually tucked her head behind her mom. Once Gladys would come to us (after only a few days), Shweetie would divide her time between hiding under the bed and in the condo. We talked to Shweetie (under the bed) several times a day every day.
Then Gladys started sleeping in a Millie bed on the bed. We knew Shweetie was sleeping with her as we heard her jump onto the floor (and go under the bed, of course) when we approached the room. A couple of times I stuck a camera in the doorway in the dark to confirm this. I did get a couple of pictures of devil cats (red-eyed) together in the Millie bed.
She and her mom have had total control of the house for four weeks now. At first she and Gladys only explored when Kent and I were not around (during the night and work hours) leaving their trail –footprints, bits of kitty litter in the window seat, my old kitty’s catnip mouse knocked off the fireplace mantel, etc. Then they got braver, zipping through the living room while we were in there, but not stopping.
Over the past two weeks, Kent in particular (quieter then I am), walked through the Kitty Suite several while Shweetie was on the bed - and she stayed there! She also came out to eat three times while I was sitting on the bed petting and talking to Gladys. That was noteworthy as she could hear me talking and actually made eye contact with me and with Gladys.
Yesterday was Shweetie and Gladys’ first visit to their new vet. I covered their carrier in the waiting room so they would feel hidden from the scrambling, barky dogs that were waiting for their turns. It seemed to work, and the visit went very well. Shweetie was excellent with the Dr., and Kent and I took the opportunity to pet our kitty while she was out in the open - she responded very well. The vet gave Sweetie a clean bill of health. Both Shweetie and Gladys will return to have their teeth cleaned at a later date.
Today, as I am writing this, the girls have come down (almost) into my office in the basement. This is the final frontier for them here. They came down the stairs twice, the first time just to the landing and the second time all the way to the bottom, but did not come in the door – maybe the third time will be the charm!? I am sure I will have computer kitties in the very near future.
May 7, 2010
Shweetie now chirps and purrs when scratched under her chin. She really is a S(h)weetie!
Wow - the girla dn her mom have been home for seven months. Shweetie has wiskers!!! When she arrived home she did not have any as Gladys had chewed them off by overgrooming her. Now that Gladys is comfortable in her forever home she no longer does that. Shweetie loves to be in my lap and vies for space with Gladys. She squeaks and purrs, headbutting whoever or whatever is close by. Shweetie is a funny girl and has been a perfect addition to our home.

SAGWA
I am a very tall lanky Siamese cat with a great voice (check out my video!) I came in with my sister, Lily, the jury is out whether we should stay together or not. We have different food requirements which makes it a bit tricky! I have a sensitive stomach and right now am eating only canned food, which is working wonders. I have the best voice ever (see my video) and am one of the larger Siamese you may have ever met. I'm the personable ambassador type who adores children and dogs, but does have a little bit of an independent streak as well, so perhaps not as needy as some of the wedgies. Certainly a joy to chat with! (On hold until 9/18 - doing a two week trial separation from Lily to see how we do on our own).

Notes from Home
Sunday 10/3/10 9:30 AM: Sagwa is HOME!!!!! We heard him coming the minute Paula opened her car door. What a great guy. Love at first sight. He ate a little food right away and of course did extensive exploring. He quickly made himself at home. Unfortunately, we had no choice but to leave him alone right away returning in the evening, then my sister’s family arrived. Sagwa was interested in everyone. Easily gave him his Clavimox. He ate more food (turkey), drank a whole bowl of water and seemed satisfied. Urine clump in box, no poop. We spent the rest of the night with him while he got to know us and vice versa.
Monday 10/4/10 AM: AM Urine clumps in box, no poop. Fed him Weruva chicken which he ate like he was starving, begging for more, which I gave him. He vomited everything (including Clavimox). I left a small amount of food when I left for work. Food was gone when I got home. Small amount loose stool and several urine clumps in box. Fed him in four small helpings that evening – no vomiting. He tries to tell me he is starving to death…. Pill no problem (he is a very good pill taker), gave him another small amount of food before bed.
Tuesday 10/5/10: Pilled, fed him in three smallish servings, all stayed down. Same routine in the evening all is well in that department. Finally a small loose stool in box. Sagwa seemed unsettled later in evening. I finally tried lying on the floor to see if that would help. He immediately lay down next to me and went bellies up for a love fest – life is good.
Thursday 10/7/10: Last of pills given but unfortunately Sagwa is still rubbing his ear. Luckily his vet appointment is scheduled for Monday.
Saturday 10/9/10: Sagwa is now eating food in larger portions and is consuming 1½ cans daily. Kent says Sagwa is calm now (this should be interpreted as Meezer Wedgie calm not really your basic calm). He is a super lover, super talker and we absolutely love him.
Sunday 10/17/10: Sagwa continues to make us his own (see pictures). He is doing extremely well and as of his vet’s visit last Monday had put on ½ pound. We are now feeding him three times a day instead of six-eight, without any stomach issues. He now has “controlled†run of the house while we are still integrating Sagwa, Gladys and Shweetie. He is a wonderful cat and it is so rewarding to see him so comfortable with us.

HANSEL
I'm a four-paw polydactyl which means I have an extra toe on all paws - you can see one of them in this picture. And since the ones on the front are like human thumbs it means I'll be able to do all kinds of nifty things that most cats can't. Foster Meowm says that based on the size of my baseball mitts - oops paws ! - I'm probably going to be a big boy when I grow up.
I'm a typical kitten - active, curious and very playful.
Although we don't have to go together, check out my sister Gretel VA7172 if you're looking for a ready-made pair.
I should be ready to go home the latter part of August.

I changed Hansel's name to Maki. He is also doing great and growing fast. He now weighs 5lb 8oz. Both he and Nori have been to the vet twice, one time each for their distemper and rabies vaccines. He is very affectionate and loves to play. He has learned to sit for treats but is still trying to grab them out of my hand with his paws. He is very well coordinated.
