SWEETIE PIE
Although I'm enjoying my stay at the Italian B&B for Wayward Siamese, I'm looking for my fur-ever home. I have excellent manners - including dealing with my litter box. I greet Meown Trish with a friendly meow when she comes into my lovely second floor room, complete with huge people bed, and wicker kitty house, I like looking out the front windows, and I adore my fake fur white bed which Meown Trish say that I may take to my new home! I'm mild mannered, and while foster Meown thinks I'm pleasingly plump, I can move around like a kitten. I had a bit of surgery, plus got my toothies cleaned, and everything is fine. Generally my health is very good, according to my check-up. I had a birthday earlier this summer, so now I'm 10!

I'd like a quiet home where I can be the gentle lady of the house. Will it be with you?

Update 7/14. I kept waiting to update hoping I'd eventually get a picture of the 2 cats together but sadly it has not happened. I am continuing to keep the cats separate. When they are in the same room accidentally SP will chase her, not as aggressively. My old cat is scared of her and I'm not sure they will ever get together. The older cat is 18 years old. SP doesn't like dogs either when a friend brings one over. She is friendly to everyone and is beautiful and we love her.

SP has been healthy and active, sleeps a lot, eats well. My vet recommended 1/4 tsp miralax/day for the small hard stools she was having and it works great!.

BUNNY
Hi, my name is Bunny. I came here quite scared and very skinny, but I am now gaining weight and getting braver.

I'll probably always be a "ghost" cat when you have company, but if you take the time to win my trust, I'll sit next to you and purr and talk to you while you pet me. I still don't like to be held, but do like being close to you.

I know I'm special, and will need a special, patient, adopter. Do you think that might be you? If so, ask about me and maybe I can become your special girl.

Bunny

Update; I'm finally brave enough to stay out of my playpen all the time. I do ok with all the boys here, too!

Notes from Home
Well, after a week of laying in the floor singing"China Girl" to her,the little fluffer nutter has become more outgoing. She never did answer to Bunny for me so I re-named her Michiko Ame, or Mimi for short. She sleeps with me and lets me know when it's time to get up and fill the food bowl. She loves her wand toy and her cat tree, but under the couch is still her favorite nap spot. Every day is better and better and I couldn't ask for a sweeter kitty. 8-1-15

Four months later and an almost completely different cat has emerged! She is so sweet and playful. She jumps a foot in the air to snatch her wand toy and gets the kitten crazies every night. She's interested in everything and not bothered by noises at all. She has been behind the couch only when I had a weekend guest, who she actually came out to see! In short Michiko has come so far out of her shell that it's amazing. She gets called Queenie more than Fluffernutter these days because she is definitely the queen of the house. I'm so happy to have her.

We've passed the six month mark with flying colors. Not only is she sweet, she has become a real talker. Her assortment of mis and mers and merfs are a kick, except at five in the morning! SHe loves to give me the stare, as though using kitty ESP on me. I don't think it's working that well, or maybe she is always thinking of treats.. The birdfeeder has kept her entertained this winter and Santa brought her some new feather wands to pounce on too. I think she is a happy kitty. I know I'm a happy owner. .

It's been 3 years now and we are very happy together.

Went back to the vet today to get my final distemper shot! The vet said everything looks good and even cleaned my ears! I weighed in at 3.6 pounds... eating is one of my new favorite hobbies!

I am becoming a big boy! Recently I had a bad bout of diarrhea but the doctor gave me new medicine and I am starting to feel better. I really enjoy playing with my go-cat mouse. I carry him all around the house so I don't have to share with my sister. In the morning when mom lets us into her bed I am a snuggle-machine! I even started to sleep with my sister and will groom her during nap time. Purrs, Sake

Hi! It's me, Sake! I have made tremendous progress with my toileting since the last update. Stools have been solid and regular since switching to a new fancy food that is grain-free (almost 3 months now!). Eating is my favorite part of the day. I am super cuddly and will let anyone pick me up. Mom thinks I might be part rag-doll because I just melt into your arms. I recently got a new toy ribbon that is simply the best. I chase it and jump after it, and once I catch it I take it to another room so nobody can steal it back from me. I hate being brushed, but mom says that I should get used to it since I have long fur. Oh well. Life is hard when you're this spoiled :) Purrs, Sake

Hello! Can you believe it? I turned one last month! Not much has changed about me, I still love food and getting scratchies and chasing my cat-teaser toys! My favorite new hobby is watching my meowmy run on the treadmill. I wait until she is done and then I jump on and roll around on the warm belt, it's just purrrfect! I haven't had issues with the potty and still love the new expensive food that meowmy serves me. Sometimes I eat so fast that I throw up, so meowmy feeds me a little bit many times a day so I get all the nutrition that I need! I am quite energetic, especially after I eat a meal. I chase my favorite mouse and do flips in the air trying to catch it! Meowmy keeps trying to get a video recording but I am just too fast for her! My sister Sakura and I love watching the birds and squirrels outside our favorite window. I chatter whenever I see my arch-nemesis, the cardinal. Until next time! Purrs, Sake

I'm two! Where did the time go? I just had my check up with the vet and was told that I have a "perfect" body condition - probably because of all the exercise I get chasing my mice. I recently discovered bubbles, which I try to catch before they disappear. I am also becoming a seasoned vet traveling in the car. I wear a harness and nap on the backseat while mom & dad drive my sister and I to grandmom's house. All is well in Sake-land :)

The birthday boy is three! This year we had a big change at home - meowmy is now fostering other homeless kitties for SCRC! I really surprised her with how gentle, kind, and social I am with all of the fosters I have met. I have a sweet soul :) I was sick for a little bit this winter, but luckily I recovered well and all my testing came back negative, no signs of any underlying conditions and boy did I get A LOT of tests. Meowmy said it's better to be safe than sorry. Well, I'm back to my old self, chasing my favorite moppy-mice and a new puffy ball that meowmy bought me. I still hate getting brushed but alas, I don't think I can talk meowmy out of it because she says I need it to be handsome and matte-free. Oh well, so goes the life of a fur-enhanced kitty cat. Purrs, Sake

PENNY
Shy sweet gal, need to lose a little weight, my owner passed away and now I'm back at the Center hoping for my next home! Really frightened at all the changes :( I need a quiet one on one relationship with someone who wants to build a friendship and then we will be Best Feline Furries!

Penny (fka Lilith) adjusted quickly to her new home. Within a week she was exploring the whole house. She got back to her normal weight easily and now grazes without overeating. She is still a little jumpy but likes attention, especially getting her head scratched, occasionally she even ventures onto my lap. Thanks to all who helped bring her home!

SAKURA
I am Arya - and yes, I am also named for one of foster mom's favorite "Game of Thrones" characters. I am feisty, playful, independent and a bit of a tomboy. I do love to play and snuggle with my brother and sister though so I will need to go home with another kitten to play with - a BOY kitten.

Notes from Home
Went back to the vet today to get my final distemper shot! I was a good girl and even let them trim my nails! Weighed 3.6 pounds... I am starting to look like a big girl!

Boy do I like to eat! I even try to eat my brother's food from his dish in between bites so he won't notice. Mom has to sit beside us to make sure we both get our fair share! My favorite things to do are play with my go-cat mouse, chase my brother, and curl up into mom's lap. Sometimes a fly gets into the house and I chase it in circles. So far I have caught two, right out of the air! Purrs, Sakura

6 months! Holy cow! Well I am officially the queen of my domain. I have diva-tendencies and I won't take no for an answer! My favorite thing to do is to wake mom up in the morning with kisses and snuggle in laps to keep warm. I still love my go-cat mouse, but I also found a new an exciting sparkle ball that I carry with me everywhere. I lost my first one, so mom bought me a brand new pack of 20, which should last for a long while! I am growing and eating and doing everything as I should. I like to scratch, but only on my cardboard scratchers that are all over the house. Other than that, I am simply perfect. Purrs, Sakura

Hello! Meowmy apologizes for the delay, but she figured better late than never for my first birthday update! I continue to be spoiled rotten and I have demolished almost all of the 20 sparkle balls my meowmy bought me last time. I am energetic and lively and always up for a game of catch. People keep saying that I am like a dog because I can play fetch, silly humans! My grandma bought me and my brother Sake a bird feeder for outside our favorite window... it's like having kitty-TV! I will sit for hours and watch until a chipmunk or squirrel comes, then I jump at the window! Sometimes I get so distracted by the kitty-tv that meowmy has to bring me to my food because I forget to eat, oops! I suppose that is all for now! Purrs, Sakura

I'm two! Not much has changed from the last update; I still get a thrill from chasing the chipmunks outside the window and sometimes hit my head because I forget the screen is there, ouch! I love parties and when people come over they are surprised by how social I am "for a cat" - silly dog people. I'm a petite girl, but I make up for it with a loud meezer voice. I still have diva tendencies, and mom says that if I were a human I would probably be Beyoncé. Purrs, Sakura

Look at me! I'm three! Well there have been some big changes at home - meowmy is now volunteering as a foster mom with SCRC! I love sitting outside the door listening to all my new foster siblings and sometimes sneak in to steal their cookies when meowmy isn't looking. I have been curious, flexible, and easy-going about the whole thing, much to meowmy's relief! I still love my sparkle balls and chasing the red laser dot (still haven't caught it!) and can snuggle for days if my meowmy lets me. I like to lick faces and drool all over meowmy when I am super happy. My vet check-up went well and I didn't gain a single ounce since last year... must be from all the exercise I get chasing toys. Purrs until next year, Sakura

FRANK
Handsome boy looking for a loving home. I'm a bit shy at first, but am a sweetheart once I get comfortable. I love playing with my wand toy and fuzzy ball, and watching out the window. I also love getting lots of petting and head-bumps and kisses. I am getting along okay with the resident cats, and curious about the dogs. Be sure to check out all my photos and video!

Sora (AKA Frank) is a big love bug and loves to roll around like the goofball he is! He was very shy at first but after a few days he wanted love and attention. He lets us know when it's food time and cuddle time, meows and headbutts!

Another update- He absolutely loves pillows and any toy with feathers! I wake up every morning with him on my pillow and when he realizes I am awake he gets one of his feather string toys and brings it up to my face

JACK
I'm one handsome hunk of Meezer - long and lean, talkative and interactive, and very snuggly. How did a great guy like me end up in a shelter? Why, very simple. They got a new puppy and I didn't like him. So they kept that stupid puppy and took me on a quick trip to the shelter. Their loss can be your gain - ask about me!

Notes from Home
Hi,

My name is Jack. I am three years old and found a great home in Connecticut. I am one "Meezer" among three "Geezers" (They are not Siamese). Mommy and Daddy lost their 17 year old boy, Q in March of 2010 and they missed having a Meezer around the house. My brother and sisters seem to be okay with me and I try to be a good boy around them. I am so happy. I am safe, comfortable and very much loved. I have only been in my forever home for less than two months and already I can tell that I am part of this great family. My Mommy and Daddy give me so much attention and they say that they will always love me.

I have been in my “forever” home for six months now. Mommy and Daddy say that I am a great boy and that I have brought great joy into their lives. I like to play with my Daddy as if he was a cat and sometimes I groom his entire face. My parents are considering a friend for me because my sister Lursa is 18 years old and will only play with me a little bit.
Everyone who meets me compliments me and tells me how beautiful I am. Daddy says that nobody loves me more than he does but Mommy tells me that she is in love with me.
Thanks to Auntie JoAnn and Auntie Jackie for finding me my “forever” home.

Well it is January 13, 2012 and Mom has decided to post some pictures of me. If you want to see what Mom and Dad's friend, Sal did to Dad's guitar, look at "Pictures from Home."

January 27, 2012 - Oh No! More pictures Mom? Mom's new camera flash with some natural sunlight.

July 8, 2012 - Tomorrow is my one year anniversary in my "forever" home. Mommy and Daddy adopted a brother for me. His name is Tiberius and comes from Virginia Center. He has been here since March 4, 2012. Mom and Dad lost two very old babies at the end of last year so they wanted me to have somebody to play with. My sister, Lursa will be 20 soon so I have one brother and one sister. Everything is great here and I am a happy guy. I hope that you will look at the most recent pictures of me. Mommy caught me and Tiberius taking a nap.

June 19, 2013 - Hi all. If I look familiar to you but you can’t place me, just get up and go look at your Siamese Rescue Calendar and feast your eyes upon “Mr. June 2013.” That’s right, that picture of me was taken within minutes of my arrival to my “forever” home almost two years ago. If you don’t believe me, just click on “Pictures from Home” and you will see that same picture. Oh, and I also want to let you all know that I am doing just great!

July 9, 2014. Today is my third anniversary in my forever home. All is great and I am a very happy guy. Mom and Dad are so grateful to all the volunteers who helped me along the way in getting here. Love, Jack

July 9, 2015 - Today is my fourth anniversary in my forever home. Mom and a Dad continue to be amazed at how good I am with other cats, and when people come over, I like to greet them. Sometimes I will even sit on their lap if I know that they like me. All is well. Love, Jack

July 9, 2017 - Today is my sixth anniversary in my forever home. I am now nine years old. Mommy and Daddy adore me and they still tell me that they love me. Mommy was hugging and kissing me this morning and I was purring so loud because I wanted to let her know that I liked it. I had a checkup and a dental this year. All is well. Love, Jack

July 9, 2018 - Today is my seventh anniversary in my forever home. Can you believe that I am 10 years old now? Mommy and Daddy love me and I love them. Thank you to everyone at Siamese Rescue for finding me the perfect home. Love, Jack

My dad had some life changes so sadly I am back with Siamese Rescue after 10 years. I first came as a kitten with my brother and now look more Lynxsy but I am adorable with my crossed blue eyes and lovable personality. I will be looking for a home with another purr friend. I might be your BFF!

Roux is happily ensconced in Northern Michigan right now and she loves the open windows, fresh breezes and chirping birds. while her initial drive down from her foster home was a terrible experience, this was a happy one. We tried to give her a sedative to help her but she refused to eat. She has hated when our family went traveling and left her home with a sitter. This time she sat in my suitcase as if to say "i'm going too!" What we discovered is that she hates driving in the carrier. Once my daughter sat in the back seat with her and let her out she was happy as a clam, laying on the floor and snoozing. She and the dog still are not the best of friends but we try to keep them both happy and separated. Roux is an adorable little love bug who has bonded well with my daughter. Thanks again for giving us such a wonderful kitty.

April 14,2018
Sweet Roux formerly Ruby is slowly trying to get to know our home and humans. She is so fond of her temporary housing that it is taking a lot of effort to get her to come out to see the rest of the home. Fortunately the wand got her distracted enough to leave the room and walk slowly around the second floor of the house. She is understandably skittish and darts away if I walk too quickly near her. But she is such a purr machine and a love bug! Every time I enter her room she starts up the motor and doesn't stop until after I have left. As I sit writing this note Roux and our Welsh Terrier Maisie are staring at each other from a distance of about five feet. Carefully they examine each other with the dog wiggling and desperate to say hello to her new feline friend. Roux is curious and does not seem afraid. I think she may view the dog as a potential friend but also a nuisance to be dealt with. Over all we are doing well and I hope over time I will be able to report happy exchanges between dog and cat.

I am a very outgoing lovable guy. Good lap kitty and playful. Foster mom says I am a bit goofy but very personable and fun. I'm afraid of dogs so none of those, please. And I get so excited playing that I grab hands so no young children since it would be too scary for them.

Notes from Home
7/9/2018: July 6, 2018 was our one-year Adoption Day anniversary. We treated Calvin and Hobbes with a can of their favorite cat food. Hobbes is my guy (Catherine). This cat is amazing. He is so laid back, sweet and lovable. He loves to play with anything and everything that moves. One of his favorite toys is the Fat Boy (a tiger catnip mousie). He also loves to pick apples and avocados out of the fruit basket and knock them on the floor. One of the Hobbes' favorite pastimes is "working out" with me. If I am going to play tennis and don't have time to warm up a the gym, I'll do a quick stretch routine at home. As soon as Hobbes hears me get my 5-lb weight and stretch tube, he comes running. He promptly lays down (because, although active), he likes to roly poly (roll back and forth) on the ground chasing the end of my stretch tube. He stays though the whole "work out," which I've modified to give him the benefits of exercise. Hobbes is no stranger to sleep. He can lay down and be asleep in seconds. He is not so snuggly at night, although a few times, he will jump on my lap and sleep with me on the couch if it's really late. Hobbes is a true begger, loves to eat (which is why we keep him busy whenever we can). What a joy! I often tell him that he is my Mr Pound reincarnated. He doesn't hide much anymore, and even comes out when certain people come over. He loves our yard guy, most likely because his day job is watching out the window for any yard intruders. He also looks for places throughout the day to soak up a much sun as possible. Hobbes is a nosy busy-body, always in the forefront of any opportunity for: a) food that might fall on the ground, b) anything that might move on the floor, c) a quick work out, d) a chance to knock something off the counter, e) step on the computer keys while I'm working--and not paying attention to him and f) a good nap in a sunny spot. Hobbes is healthy, happy boy and a wonderful addition to our household. We can't imagine life without Hobbes.
