I just dont understand why NO ONE is asking about my sister Sugar. Maybe if I tell you the ten things I love about her, you will ASK about her and me too of course!
1.Sugar is a very sweet girl, just like her name
2.Sugar loves to give kisses! She kisses me and foster mom all the time. Her favorite thing is to wake foster mom up with nose kisses
3.Sugar is a great snuggler. She loves to snuggle with me and with foster mom and dad.
4.My sister Sugar loves to be brushed! And after she gets brushed I get a turn too!
5.Sugar shares foster moms lap with me when we watch TV and she lets me sit higher!
6.Sugar always uses her quiet voice, even when she is telling foster mom that its breakfast time!
7.Sugar is a really good girl in her carrier in the car.
8.Sugar has great litter box habits.
9.Sugar always uses her cardboard scratcher.
10.And without a doubt, Sugar is the best sister and friend I could ever ask for.

I was gone overnight last night and this morning, Sugar didn't speak to me. Spice came right
up to me on the couch and cuddled. Sugar looked over and signed heavily and said "ok." and came up on my lap. They are truly the joy of my life.
I a m so lucky!!!

Did you read all those nice things my brother Spice wrote about me? Well, I am going to return the favor and tell you what I love best about him.
1.Spice took great care of me when we lost out home and went to the shelter.
2.Spice told me everything was going to be OK when we went to live with foster mom and dad. He made sure I was not scared.
3.Spice always shares foster moms lap with me, even though he has to sit higher!
4.Spice lets me go first when foster mom brushes us
5.Spice lets me finish his wet food when he doesnt want any more!
6.Spice LOVES to talk! Foster mom loves that about him too
7.Spice is a catnip junkie! He LOVES catnip.
8.Spice has great litter box habits.
9.Spice loves to use Woodleys wave scratcher.
10. Best of all, Spice is a super brother. I would never have made it through all the changes in my life without him!

Spice is currently pushing the keyboard making it really tough to type. He's such a helpful little thing.
I am so in love with my babies. And so thankful for you all who helped me get them. They love to boss me around and Spice is very talkative sometimes. I have had someone staying with me for 2 months (she leaves in a week) and she loves cats and believe me, they love her. They have to make choices at bedtime and usually plant themselves in the hall betweenus. They are probably the most friendly cats I have ever had. Whenever someone comes to the door, they plant themselves right there in a welcoming stance and expect to be greeted and petted. People just love that.

TEMPO
HA! I fooled Aunt Siri! I told her I was quiet and shy and afraid to come out and get loving, but she didn't realize quite how smart I am. The minute I realized that if you come out and love on all these visitors, someone might want to take you home. So I'm doing just that! I'm a very affectionate friendly lap sitting lovebug. I'm spooked at bouncy bossy pushy kitties and noisy chaotic households are probably a bit much. But if there would be a lap, some brushing, some snuggling, a bit of kissing, and lots of adoring, then I might just be your gal! (Obviously my Tempo hasn't been quite right yet or I'd already be adopted by now!)

Thank you for our first year's anniversary remembrance for Tempo. She has become our little treasure; I don't know what we did without her.It took five months for her to trust me enough to sit on my lap. Since that time, I could have a 24-hour lap cat if I wanted one. With my encouragement, she has become quite a talker. We have this little dialogue going on back and forth, and she often lets me know what she wants or what she is about to do, like: use her scratching post or use her litter box. She wants me to notice and tell her she's a good girl. She has meticulous litter box habits to the point of cleaning off the tops of her front feet after she exits the litter box before she walks on the carpet...imagine that!
One of her favorite pastimes is to watch cartoons. That led her to jumping up on my lap to watch videos on my computer monitor. That led her to becoming acquainted with Siri's videos from the Rescue Center. It is such fun to watch her follow the activity with her eyes. She also enjoys watching "Nora, the piano playing cat" on YouTube.
My lap buddy is waiting for me; she's been waiting for over a half hour. Thanks again for the anniversary greeting.

ZOEY
Yes, I just got here, but watch my YouTube video to check out how nice I am! I am a softer personality, gentle souled and quick to purr, chirp and do the elevator butt thing. I'd do wonderfully well in a quieter adult home with people who like the female Siamese purrsonality - those are my kind of people! I will have my teethies cleaned and be ready for my new home the end of this month!

Zoey, fka Adelaide, seems to be adjusting well. We have fallen in love with her. She is very sweet, playful, and affectionate, but only on her terms. When she goes into her affection frenzy while being petted, she gives little nips and then moves away, but she is getting better about this lately if we pet her more slowly. She has her little "babies," that is, several toys she came home with, and she drags them from room to room and meows at them until we play with her. She loves the little furry mousies; we throw them along the floor and she will chase them forever. She and Cassidy, my 12 year old lynx point, now touch noses, but he still chirps at her. There hasn't been any hissing lately so things are progressing favorably. He is a little jealous, and she just glares at him when he is on my lap. She is a really sweet cat and I hope her fearfulness will go away altogether in the near future.

Lux (FKA Keoki) is a an overgrown baby. He is very affectionate and soft spoken. He loves to sit in the windowsill and watch for squirrels or birds he can talk to. Lux is very friendly and does well with strangers (of all shapes and sizes). He still has a wild side though. He wrestles with his sis and is really good at tracking down insects ( though he would never dream of hurting them !)

Hi there,
Meowmy said I'm sooooo handsome that she has to try for more photo's of me soon. I'm talkative, but don't have a big voice. I'm a gentleman with my cat box and eat everything Meowmy gives me. I purr loud, too, when she pets me, which I love.
I don't mind the other cats here, as long as they don't come too close to bother me, but I'd really love to be your main squeeze. The dog here scared me a little at first, but when she didn't come near me, I was ok.
I'm just about ready to go, and would love to find my forever home and be there for Christmas. It's ok here, but it isn't mine.

Notes from Home
Diesel's doing great and continues to be the cutest cat in the world. I can't wait to see him every day when I get home from work. He's had no problems and I think when we go to the vet next time he will have gained a few pounds. This past weekend he let me trim all his nails at one time--when I first got him I was lucky to do one! So all is well and again I thank the whole organization for rescuing this cat and letting me adopt him. i can't imagine life without him.

Hey world! We're outta the shelter and ready to play! When our rescue angel saw how my brofur Keoki VA6946 and I clung to each other and loved each other and kept each other going in that scary place she said we're getting you two out out of here together, so here we are and we sure are glad.

And foster mom said to tell you some big words like adorable, outgoing, inquisitive, and practically perfect in every way, she said they mean ME too. Lucia (FKA Kontji) is just about the sweetest, most precious little cat ever. She can be extremely shy around strangers but couldn't be happier or more loving around her family. She is really a momma's girl and follows me around the house a lot and always meows for attention ( the meows won't stop until she gets it). Lucia still thinks she's a kitten. She loves affection and loves to cuddle, but is still down to wrestle with her brother from time to time or chase him around the house.

LUNA TWIG
I'm a petite gal who was a stray, got pregnant, had kittens, lost the kittens, had a foster home, lost the foster home, went to the shelter, came to Rescue, now need an infected tooth root removed, gee, does it ever get any better? Given all of that I'm still outgoing, curious, vocal, busy and active, for a petite gal of 5+ pounds, and as such, would like a home where I get lots of attention, I'm preferably the only feline, (I'm not that keen on dogs either), and I'll be a very interactive, curious, loving, busy involved gal in that situation!

August 15, 2010- Our sweet little Luna girl has been with us for an entire year now!!! Time flies when you're having fun! All is well and I just wanted to say another "THANKS!" to SCRC for bringing Luna into our lives! I can't even begin to imagine life without her! Feel free to check out some photo updates of her!
June 16, 2011- We love the month of June, and clearly our sweet Luna girl does too! (Check out the new photos posted!) All is well with us as we're going into the summer months. Luna continues to show us how playful she is, and she is louder than ever! Right now her new "thing" is to play on top of wrapping/tissue paper! Nothing beats the crinkling sounds of the paper as she rolls all over it, and attempts to hide underneath it! She is definitely the entertainer!

| Harry would do very well as an only cat, or a companion to a non aggressive companion cat. He gets along fine with the resident and foster flame point males, but fights with the seal point male, who initially bullied him, but is now giving it back tenfold!! |

HARRY LU
I was rescued from a shelter and stayed for a brief time with a nice lady who took care of me. I'm already very relaxed, after an a week or so of hiding behind the chair in the foster room! Now, all I want to do is play!
My foster mom calls me a "long, lean love machine" I love to follow her around for pets and tummy rubs. She has to type fast at the computer, as I like to stand in front of the monitor, and lie down on the desk to be near her. After settling in to my new surroundings, I am a completely different cat than I was when I first arrived.
Right now, I do like to cuddle on the floor in the bed, and behind foster mom in the computer chair! I'm initially a little shy, and am threatened by cats who like to bully me or play too rough, but I relax when I don't feel threatened.
I do keep my foster mom laughing--I'm a clown at heart!

Hi, my new name is Harry-Lu and I'm the luckiest cat in the world! My mommy flew to Florida for the day to pick me up. The long flight and 6 hours in the cat carrier was well worth it. When I arrived to my new home in New Jersey, I had a room filled with new toys, a 6ft scatching post, a soft fluffy Millie bed. To my surprise foster mommy had packed all my favorite toys before leaving Florida. I felt like a kitty on Christmas day! I was so HAPPY! No hiding for me. I quickly started to play, explore and give kitty kisses. My mommy took many pictures of me in hopes one was choosen for the Siamese calender. Today is my 3 week anniversary! I love to wake up everyday at 4:23am to play, play and play.....snuggle, get belly rubs and give kitty kisses.
