GRIFFIN
I'm a handsome gentleman with a sweet personality. I love to snuggle and purr and purr and purr. Do you need a man around the house? maybe that me!

I get along with other cats, well at least the 3 I used to live with. If you are looking for more than one - check out Maya. We get along well, but we're not bonded to each other. Oh, and I'm perfect in my litterbox too.

10-10-11

Griffin is the King of the Den and the Front Bedroom. He has discovered our conours in the living room and tries to "Get" them when they are down near the bottom of their cage. He has been told many times to leave them alone, but he doesn't listen to well. He still loves putting his butt in my face and does not like me to be on the computer, as he comes up and lies on the keyboard so I can't do anything. I am the one he has taken to in our household. He will let my daughter pet him just a few times, then goes away. He started hissing at the baby, so we make sure they are kept far apart. His food, water and litter box are kept in the den and he seems to be ok with that set up. I have really enjoyed having Griffin become a part of our household. He's cuddly and affectionate with me, which is just what I wanted. He's my Big Brown Teddy Bear and I Love Him !!

Griffin has adapted well in our home. He now has the run of the house and can go where he likes. He has taken my Den as his secure place, as well as my bedroom where he sleeps either on or under the bed. A few nights he has slept on my lap. He doesn't like me to be on the computer, as he jumps up on my desk and lays down so that I can't reach my keyboard. Head bumps and putting his butt in my face are his specialties. So far he is afraid of the baby because she is loud when she cries, but with the rest of us, he is fine.

4-29-11
Griffin is my special boy !! I knew as soon as I saw his picture on the adoption page, that if fate got us together, we were going to be best buddies and we are. Every night he and I spend quality time and at bed time, he has decided that my lap is the place to be. He's like a big brown Teddy Bear. He likes me to hold him, give him lots of kisses and we exchange head bumps. I'm so glad that we have found each other, we are exactly what the other one needed.

HABIBI
My name is Habibi, which means "my beloved" in Arabic.. and let me tell you, I can win your heart in a moment. I don't have a sordid past.. my previous owners had to move and were heartbroken to give me up. I told them "Don't worry, I will be just fine!"

I am a big blue boy in fantastic health with a mellow, laid back personality. I am fond of having philosophical conversations, occupying your idle hands with head rubs, and curing all forms of loneliness. Not actually lonely? Don't worry, I will make sure it never comes to pass.

In my last home, I got along well with other cats and dogs, but my foster mom hasn't tested this yet. I would be good for just about any home-- crazy, mellow, in between. I don't mind kids either, but I prefer ones who are experienced in the petting department.

More to come!

Notes from Home
09/07 Today its been a full day of living in my forever home and I am eating just fine, drinking just fine and using my new catbox just fine! I got to meet the other Kitty once but we didnt get along to welll but thats ok cause this is a new environment for me. I was able to take a tour through the house today while Kitty was occupied inside of a bedroom. I love all the attention I get and petting I receive from my new forever family. I do get to sleep alnight in a bedroom with Keaton and my purrs keep him up too! He likes it though. Hopefully tomorrow I will get another walk around while kitty is occupied again.

10/09 Well its been 1 month since I came together with my forever family and me and Kitty are King and Queen of our castle. We play together alot, get into mischief together and when its time to sleep we usually love to sleep near each other. When its time to eat we eat different meals but we do eat together when we eat and love to wake up our parents at 8am to head-butts and long meows!

TOULOULOU
I'm TouLouLou and foster ma says I am a LOU-LOU for sure! I'm fluffy, a little tubby, sassy and talkative. I like to rip and chase and play and I also growl at my food so it won't try to get away. I can be a handful....but when it comes time to snuggle and sleep, there isn't a sweeter, softer ball o' fur than me to purr you off to dreamland.

Notes from Home
Touloulou is a funny little girl. She loves to play, eat, sleep and snuggle. She follows me around and is in and out around my feet and trips me up frequently. She doesn't realize how small she is and startles herself when she cannot make a jump, falls down and knocks something over (yesterday it was the unsecured Christmas tree). She gets back up and tries something else.
Touloulou is fearless, she just runs at my boy kitty, Nobu, who is 5 times her size and tries to nibble him, so he gets off the couch or bed or wherever you wants to be. He is surprisingly patient with her. She is always hungry and gobbles everything I give her and eats Nobu's food, who will now not eat without her. They are quite the pair of frienemies.
August 2010 update - Touloulou is with me a year now, we just got a new cat condo and loves running around and playing on it. She is the first to play with every toy and has endless energy. She has started to sleep through the night, or at least when she wakes go and play in the other room instead of meowing at me at 5am. She is a darling girl whose cute face gets her out of all kinds of trouble.
October 2011 - Miss Touloulou got a lion hair cut and both she and I are delighted with it. Me, because my home isn't covered in cat hair and her because it was cooler in the hot weather, but she still gets to fluff around her poofy tail and the short part feels like chenille. She continues to rule the roost and gets her way no matter what, she bosses her older brother who just lets her do it. Since the lion cut, she's become a snugglebug, and snuggles on the couch every night, which she never did before (used to lie on the floor) She is happy and healthy and runs around nightly at bed time terrorizing her brother, who just wants the quiet life!

TACKET
Shy but handsome needy boy hoping to find a home soon with my brother Anakin. He's the outgoing one, I'm the shy one, so you'll get one of both - and with some time and love, I know you can make me feel secure as well. Fine with dogs, what we need mostly is people that want to invest some time and energy into two fantastic healthy boys, already well bonded!

Notes from Home
Tacket and Senge (formerly Luke and Annakin) are doing terrific. My goal all along has been to move them out of the isolation room by Thanksgiving. However, Senge (pronounced senjie) comes out several times each day and investigates. Tacket may be ready sooner than I anticipated. He has been very affectionate in the past week. The past three days he has been happy to let me pick him and cuddle him. He has started to talk and purr.

They have not been nose to nose yet with the dog but have seen the dog and the dog, although basically not interested, does sometimes sniff under their door. Interestingly it is Senge who heads under the bed while Tacket stays right by the door.

I think in another few weeks they will be pretty comfortable and ready to really integrate into the rest of the house. I might be overly cautious but I have not wanted to rush it since they have plenty to do in their room.

HAWKEYE
Just got here, through no fault of my own. You see, the little boy in my former home is very allergic to me - we all tried for a long time, and he just got sicker and sicker. So here I am - looking for a home who'll love me as much as my former one but without those allergies.

As for me - I'm a big (very big) handsome snowshoe boy - very friendly, and very smart. I come when called, and I walk on harness and leash. I've lived with other cats, and a dog. I've started meeting foster mom's cats, and we're all getting along just fine. I don't like kitties who get in my face and scream (one of them here does that to me) but don't mind polite ones. I love when foster mom calls me and gives me pets, and I'd sure like a home where there are fewer kitties, and none of those mean ones. Is that home yours?

Notes from Home
Hawkeye was tired from the trip. Really tired. He makes himself at home on the floor, on furniture, and on a cat blanket that fits all 15 pounds of him stretched out on the bed.
Shortly after he arrived he had to keep an eye on The Weather Channel, to watch Hurricane Irene updates. And then he was in it! That was okay for about 24 hours, when he had enough and paced the bed at 3 a.m.
Since then he's discovered the headboard is one of the high spots in the house. An open bag is an invitation. He is friendly to everyone who comes in the house. He guards the windows and greets us at the door.
He is an interesting conversationalist, and lets you know what he wants to communicate by his tone of voice.
This was just the right house for him!

MOLLIE
Hey you - don't pass me by. I'm a pretty snowshoe, well cared for, and just what you're looking for. I'm a bigger girl, and that includes my feet - I'm polydactyl! I'm friendly, and like to be held like a baby. Just don't put me in a home with those human toddler things - I am scared of them. Older kids would be fine though, as I do like attention. I am a meek and mild sort, so no aggressive kitties who may chase me. I do get along with the nice ones though. I really like my people and will paw at your leg for attention. I am not much into toys, but do like to shred the toilet paper :) Hey, foster mom says I'm a nice cat, she never said I was perfect!

Keep watching for new pictures of my lovely snowshoe self!

Mollie is a sill-sitting, bird-watching, eye-blinking, keyboard-blocking, paper-sitting, feather-chasing, room-racing, soft-furred, big-purred kitty who has happily settled into her new home in Virginia. We discover new things about her every day as she adjusts to her new life.

MOWGLI
I am the bravest of the four. We are all beautiful but we will need someone to love us and give us lots of attention. I just had my little surgery. Whoa not so little when on the receiving end.

I am so happy that I will be going home soon. I love being by myself so I am very happy I will be an only kitty. I know I will get lots of love and attention.

ITTY BITTY
CHECK OUT MY NEW VIDEO!!! Wow, did I ever have a long day today, went to a place called the vet's office and woke up kinda sleepy and goofy afterward, but foster mommy says it's all good and now I'll be ready to go home as soon as my forever family picks me out for your very own. You can see I'm still a little bit sleepy in my video but even after such a long day I'm sweet and loving and playful and just generally adorable.
How about you - looking for an outgoing, adorable, energetic, sociable little sealpoint sweetie-pie? Well, here I am - ask about me now!
Koko

Oh, and if you want two kittens, check out my best buddy, Meeko VA7933. We're already integrated and can come home together.

Notes from Home
Itty Bitty is such a darling and sweet girl! She came home with us to her forever home almost two weeks ago with her brother Meeko. She is VERY playful! She even loves to play with our dog Bella who is quite a bit bigger than her. Our dog is very gentle with Itty and they have such a good time. Itty wakes me up almost every morning jumping on the bed and purring very loudly and sometimes licks my face. It is impossible not to fall in love with her. She takes long naps with her brother Meeko in their cat bed and she loves drinking ice water and playing with anyone willing to play with her. When she is ready to wind down she likes to lay on the porch of her kitty condo and relax. We are so blessed to have her :)

MEEKO
I'm one handsome guy and ready to come home. I'm very well-behaved and NEVER do anything wrong. ;) I'm friendly, love other cats and kittens, tolerate the dog, like people, don't like medicine or shots, do like toys, always use my litter box...I guess that's it.
Meeko

Oh, if you want to adopt two kittens, check out my best friend, Koko VA7934. We've been together for a while now and we really get along great.

Meeko went home with us to his forever home almost two weeks ago. He is doing great! He was a little shy at first but has been really coming out of his shell lately. He is a very loving and sweet boy except when I have to pull him out of the tree I have in the living room :) Both Meeko and his sister, Itty Bitty, love climbing in the tree and use it as a scratching post. Meeko loves to play with his sister "Itty". They take long naps together in their cat bed and they love playing in the new kitty condos my husband has started building them. Meeko really loves looking out the kitchen windows. We are so blessed to have him and Itty Bitty in our home :)

SESE
A sensitive, sweet souled wooly mammoth looking for a loving home. Overall easy going with strong bloodwork, a recent dental (snaggle tooth is gone!), and good habits. A little shy and skittish when I'm not sure what's going on, but oh so loving and drooly when the petting is good. Not overly demanding, but definitely like to be with my people. Love to be brushed!

SeSe is more lovable than ever. He has bonded with 1 year old Tiki. He eats well, loves to be scratched, and sits on the back of my La-Z-Boy while doing needlepoint. He loves his treats too. He goes to the groomer and comes out looking "sort" of like a lion. A very pretty boy. He is very layed back and gets many kisses and hugs. Sleeps at the bottom of my bed. Couldn't be a better cat.
