Update:
Nalia and Albus are successfully integrated! That was easy! We kept them separated for a while and then switched the rooms they were in so they could smell each other. Tonight we just opened the door and let Albus come out in his own time. He went right up to Nalia and kissed her nose! She's been following him around ever since.
Albus loves catnip! I took the kerry mouse out of the bag and he went crazy! I will post some pictures. He certainly is playful, we just need to figure out which toys he likes. Nalia's new favorite toy is Albus's tail. She's also stolen several from his goody bag.
Albus has been eating (though not much. he's quite skinny), drinking, and using the literbox. Yay! He also loves to hold hands. He has big paws that he likes to rap around your finger! So sweet.
Have a look at the pictures of him in his new home
Thanks to everyone at siamese rescue :)

Lil Abner is now known as Albus :)
My goodness did we luck out with this boy!
He is such a love bug. He was receptive to cuddles almost immediately after coming home. After a few good belly rubs, you have his heart forever. He's followed me around since he got here, snuggling on my lap, and loves being under the covers!
I think it must have been a while since he's been in a big human bed because he dove under the covers, rolled around and starting purring immediately! I'm sure that will be his spot.
Albus seems so happy and grateful just to have a lap to sit on, a blanket to snuggle in, and a mommy to pet him. He doesn't ask for anything but love. We haven't integrated him with Nalia quite yet. It should be interesting. She needs to give him some lessons on how to play. He seems interested, but doesn't quite know all the moves.
Thank you siamese rescue for making this amazing match. Pictures from home coming soon :)

IZZY
I am Serena! I am busy as a kitten should be. I am dedicated. I want to be where you are. I WILL sleep with you. I have something to say when it needs to be said. My adopter needs to have excellent belly rubbing hands. I would like a window with a view. Birds, squirrels and chip monks are all acceptable. I am fine with other fur friends as long as they let me sleep with you.

My voice saved me, BTW. I was such a tiny little kitten out in the dark and rain in this big huge parking lot surrounded by 3 highways. I kept calling and calling and this great lady saved me. Boy was she super!. If she didn't travel so much, I bet she would have kept me. But all that travel is why I got lucky that she was staying in that big building that doesn't allow animals.

Need an adaptable kind of gal?

Notes from Home
It's been four months since Izzy came home and she is just a doll. I call her a sugar-coated diva--she's supersweet and wants to be friends with everybody, but she likes to have the upper hand. She'll pin Figaro, the other kitten, down for a bath almost every day and is teaching the dog how to snuggle with cats whether he wants to or not. She also looooooooooves to roll on the towel I use to dry the dog after his bath, recently discovered how fun it is to dig out the dirt from the household plant pots, and likes to hunt the bed monster just before I get up in the mornings. It's been so fun watching her personality emerge and evolve. Thank you to everyone at Siamese Rescue and her rescuer, who found her in the parking lot.

I am a loving girl looking for my own family. I am still in isolation so do not know about dogs yet. I should be fine with other kitties. I will be ready to go home around the first week of August.

Notes from Home
1/16/12
3am- Time to EAT! Jump on daddy, swat at his face, meow. If this is unsuccessful, do something I'm not suppose to do so he has to get up to stop me.
4am-5am- After food catnap on daddy's head.
6am- Wake daddy up for playtime.
7-8am- Play in tent, rid the house of furry mousy's, jump like there's no tommorow!
9-10am-Plan a sneak attack on mommy.
11am-1pm- Patrol the windows and make sure the outside of the house is secure. Run from front windows to back windows as quickly as possible so I don't miss anything.
1pm-4pm- play climb and be silly!
4pm-6pm- talk to mommy about tomorrows schedule
6pm-6:10pm- cuddle with mommy.
8pm-9pm- watch tv with daddy
10pm- Bed time :)

Nalia is a very special, VERY siamese girl. She is extremely interactive, talkative, and playful. She has a very busy agenda (as you can see) that is not to be interrupted. She loves being in the windows and looking outside, and playing in her tent, but most of all, she loves her daddy. She says he's better at shaking the wand toy than I am. She seemed a little bit lonely for some kitty company, so we brought home a playmate from siamese rescue "Lil Abner," now named Albus.
She says another personal assistant might be useful.
Nalia is our beautiful (SPOILED) warrior princess. We are very lucky to have her :)

9/11/11
Nalia (often known as Nallie Cat around here) is a wonderful little meezer. Her diva personality has certainly exploded since our last update. She will be petted when she feels like it and if something is not her way she will certainly inform you. (Oops we may have spoiled her ;)) She is also very opinionated about which toys she will and will not play with. She does like to play fetch though which is adorable! When we play with other toys she likes to plan out an attack. She will move from bunker to bunker around the room and finally POUNCE and then run away and plan another elaborate scheme. We think her personality is an absolute riot and she keeps us very entertained. She gets more beautiful by the day. She is truly a part of the family and keeps us company while the other is at work. We both feel honored when she decides to give us a snuggle. I can't remember life with out her :) We will post some new pictures as she grows! Thanks again Siamese rescue!

8/6/11
Echo is now known as our baby girl Nalia. She is an absolute spitfire with a lot of love to give. She slept like a baby wrapped in her pink blanket in my arms all the way home! She purred the whole way and I was in awe of her fearlessness. As soon as she entered her new home she explored every inch of the place! Even inside the refrigerator the moment we opened it! (don't believe me? Check the photos! Caught in action!) She was very vocal about what she thought about the place! Hopefully we are up to her standards! She used her scratching post right away and her daddy gave her lots of praise because it wasn't his couch :) Then she went straight over and used her litterbox! What a relief! Way to go Nalia! The only thing she was afraid of was the mirror in our bedroom. Who is that other kitten?!? Her tail poofed straight up!
After the exploration it was time for play! She sure can jump! No toy is out of her reach and no toy is left unloved. She goes crazy over the laser pointer and meows and meows if u turn it off. This house is her new jungle gymn! Thank you foster mom Kay for sending her home with her favorite toys. Play time is never over for this girl!
Her first night here she slept on my head the whole night. Sometimes she would wake up and attack daddy's feet through the covers. She certainly makes us laugh and smile. She is so interactive! It's hard not to love this little siamese girl.
More later! Thanks Siamese rescue for making a perfect match!

BELLA
Hi Everyone, I am looking for my very own home with someone who wants me to love on them a LOT. I am very sweet and give foster mom hugs with my paws. I love to be held and am very laid back in the personality department. Not sure yet about dogs but should be fine with other cats. I'm still in iso for a few more days but the new life adjustment hasn't bothered me at all.

MING
Greetings! I am Emperor Ming, of Meezer Castle residence. I am the luckiest royal alive! I love my private suite, access to food and a human servant to pet me and love me. My foster Mom says I'm too loving to be an Emperor and she calls me Ming Ding. I don't mind, I happily dispense my head butts, purrs, chirps and kneading to anyone who visits me. I get so excited when I get visitors. Perhaps one of you will be my forever parents? See, I'm pointing to you!

Love, purrs and smiles

Notes from Home
Life is good for Mr. Ming and Ezzie. They both get together very well with a mix of love, play, and sometimes a fight or two (never too serious). Mr. Ming loves to explore the patio at every time of the day and now as we can see, every time of the year. Day or night, sun or rain he just loves to be there. Now, even few inches of snow seems not be a problem to him. Just take a look. Only Ezzie is looking at him ..."did you lose your mind pal, it is cold! I will better go back to bed."

It is 6 months since we adopted MR. Ming!!!!
Since day one there were no problems with this big cutie. He is super friendly and with light personality. It is so nice to see how good he is with his little sis Ezzie. They sometimes take naps together and hug each other. Often, one is licking the other on the neck. We need to say it is so cute to see the two of them taking care of each other. Our favorite moments are when Mr. Ming is crushing with us on the sofa and watches TV. This is how he likes to sit… now you know why we cannot smile at him!

Mr. Ming is the King of the household! He is the “manager” and main “inspector”. There is nothing that will miss his attention, from every single thing we bring home to, who is where and what they do. Mr. Ming will put his head inside every single shopping bag and inspect what is there. I am sure that he is looking for treads for himself. He loves to go to the patio and already meet every neighbor we share the patio with. He even has a “girlfriend”. One of our neighbors just loves him and Mr. Ming is not wasting any opportunity to be petted by her. He and Ezzie make great roommates and play most of the time very well. Only sometimes Mr. Ming seems be too strong for our little Princess, but we are here to rescue her. They both bring tons of joy to our home.

COOKIE
OPPS Foster mommy caught me in the Cookie jar again, hey I am only living up to my name. She told me that I needed to think about what a good girl I am and stay out of the Cookie jar, I am thinking..... but what I really want is not a cookie but a forever home. A cookie is just while I wait. .I will follow you from room to room, I am a headbutting, purring, loving fool and I even get along with the dog here (but I am still the boss, after all a girl can not be too much of a pushover ) Please ask about me. Notes from Home
Cookie celebrated her second year in her forever home today. We have to say, she finally has accepted her new forever home and has really settled in that last six months. She is a very happy kitty as she now spends time sleeping with her Meow Mom on the couch and sharing her Pop's lap in his chair while he watches TV. I guess if we had experienced what she had, it probably would take us some time to settle in too. :) We love Cookie very much and am glad that she adopted us. She enjoys traveling in our motorhome and is a popular "dash" attraction when we are parked. Jack and I want to thank Siamese Cat Rescue Center for providing the opportunity for us and Cookie to find each other.

January 13, 2012
It is with a sad and heavy heart that this update is made today. Our beloved Cookie passed away today. She will be missed very, very much as she sure made a positive impact on our lives. She was a loving meezer/kittie and once she "unpacked" her baggage she allowed Jack and I closer to her and shared all her love with us and Montana (our dog). She was greatly loved and she loved us in return. Our lives are much better because she came to our family. Cookie is a special meezer/kitty and she will live in our hearts forever. Thank you again Siamese Cat Rescue Center for finding her and allowing us to take her into our home and hearts.

KAYLA
I am all about loving! I'm a little shy at first and I'm scared to ask for it, but once you convince me you can give it, then I'm soaking it up! And if you need proof in the pudding, then check out my new videos! I like other cats as well as people, but I do want a quiet household and someone who will start me with small spaces and let me graduate to larger areas as I feel comfortable. A petite gal for petite spaces with a giant heart, that's me! Here I am looking hopefully at you, wondering if you might just ask me to dance! And if you don't believe me, just watch my videos for fun - come on, just for fun.

Update on Kayla,

Kayla is settling in very well and really coming out of her shell. She has full run of the whole two story house and is running around it like she owns the place, as she does! She sounds like a heard of horses when she really gets going--I never thought I'd hear that very shy, scared girl running around so carefree and LOUD, but we are so glad she is! She still gets a little scared when she comes around a corner and sees one of us she isn't expecting, so she runs the other way, but quickly comes back when we stop and call her over for a pet. She is still occasionally scared by feet, so we think at some point she was kicked by someone (so sad), but think that will eventually go away, too. We think that if she was an owned cat she was strictly an outdoor cat as she had no idea about many indoor things, like the TV--she was terrified at first by people and heads on the TV. Now she doesn't even give them a second glance. She will come sit close to us if it is on an end table, but not on the same piece of furniture. I think with more time she will sit next to us, or maybe on our laps, but that will take more time and trust. I occasionally genltly pick her up--she doesn't care much for it, but doesn't freak out, so she may eventually like it. She is making great progress from where she was when she came to be with us and love her very much! Thank you everyone who was part of loving her until she got to us!

Notes from Home
This little girl is quite a character. We are settling into a routine. She greets me at the door and begins chirping the minute my key enters the lock. I came home early one day to find her sleeping, which was a relief and helped me determine that she simply knows my schedule now. She enjoys evening playtime and then quiet time resting on me while we watch a little tv. A couple of times she has played with the Friskies fishing iPad app and that is ever amusing. Even though she does not like to be held, I sneak a little holding time in on her when we first say hello in the morning and then she runs to the couch for lap time. If I do not sit down, but rather stand next to the couch, she is reaching for my hands. Her talking has increased, and when I talk on the phone she is guaranteed to talk over me. Thankfully my friends are understanding!!

WILLOW
Nothing but purring and loving and clinging and needy and oh so lovey dovey here. A quieter home please with lots and lots and LOTS of attention, I like other cats but no bully cats please.

Notes from Home
December 29th finds Willow fully adjusted to her new home. She is a regular purring machine and goes from person to person for a warm lap. She is no long intimidated by our male cat - in fact, I think he is intimidated by her! The two of them sound like a herd of elephants when they are racing around and sometimes it's a contest between the two of them to take over a lap. We could not adore her any more. She is a PERFECT match for us!! Happy holidays and Happy New Year to all of the volunteers who helped her find a happy home.

January 10th - Willow is now the terror of her new home. Racing from room to room, giving my older cat a hard time ("why won't he play with me???") and sleeping glued to my side under the covers at night (how she can breathe is beyond me), she is a constant source of amusement. All this, and she loves to be picked up and cuddled. What more could you ask for??
