OAKLEY
Okay...I've been on this "adopt me" page way too long. You must be looking for a cat that will ignore you & want you to be at their beckon call since you have obviously missed clicking on me.

If you are looking for a charmer that's IN YOUR FACE wanting to give kisses, friendly, social, loves to give head butts & purrs the moment I set my eyes on you...then you are obviously on the right page...SO you had better ask about me soon cause I'm not planning to be on the "adopt me" page much longer..I'm a busy guy & I want my forever home SOON!!!

My foster mom reports that I have an Alpha personality, so I can't be matched with a kitty that will allow me to rule their world.

Head butts & purrs,
Bosco

TANGERINE
Sweeeeeeet! Check out Video #1 as I settle in five minutes after arriving! I love to play, talk, snuggle and interact! I'm going to be meeting other cats soon so I can tell you more about that, but meantime I'm four paws up!

Okay, Aunt Siri marked me as only cat. I got quickly overwhelmed with other cats, but hey, there's a lot of them here! So it's not set in stone but a preference. I am super playful, silly and outgoing, quite smart, and adjust immediately. IF you have lots of toys that is.

Triney (that is what we call her now) is doing very good. She rules the house. She is very vocal and likes to get her way. We have become very comfortable with eachother and have set up a routine. I have discovered that she does like to lick me a lot and also she likes to cuddle and lay on my chest when its time for bed. She is a very spoiled cat but I love her.

Notes from Home
Miki has adjusted in "great form". She has "taken over" the house and she is the definitley the "boss". She is a VERY SWEET cat. She lets us know what she wants withe her different and distinctive meows - and we follow her leads. She has "adopted" my wife which is exactly what I wanted and Maryann has "melted" to her love, affection and cuddling. Miki comes to which ever room we are in and is constantly with us. She plays with her toys frequently ( a lot of times at night ) and it sounds like there is a "basketball game" going on in the living room. She has her preferences on food and lets me know - in no uncertain terms - when she wants something different. She is still a "head butter" and she is a 'Purrrrrr kitty" when petted. We purchase a cat "tower" that looks out over our yard and she has learned to navigate to the top level. Miki is such a joy for us I cannot begin to express how happy we are with her. As all Siamese are - she is an individual - and she expresses herself well. She sleeps with my wife, cuddling to her side, and follows her every where - even into the bathroom to "help her" put on her make-up. Her meows are distinctive to what she wants -and WHEN SHE WANTS IT - and we have "interpreted" quickly. I asked Maryann - on a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being perfect, how wouuld she rate Miki so far. She said "8 to 9" and I would agree. She is not a "lap kitty" but she is learning and accepting more lap time as her trust with us builds. When she wants to come to our laps versus the couch, the "10" will be earned. We are not pushing it and we are very, very happy with our new family member but we hope she comes to us more as she trusts us more and will cuddle us more. We both think we have benefited more from the adoption that she has. Thank you for what you do. You have made two old people very happy and one forgotten Siamese a "spoilerotten, very much loved cat.
Greg Dinkins

Things are going great. We have changed Miki's name to Angel - because she is just that - a little angel. We have had no problems what so ever. She has been a wonderful cat from the start. We continue to enjoy her company. She continues to "own" the house and we continue to spoil her "rotten".

SI
Hi There!

My name is Si & I'm told that I'm a love bug! That's probably an accurate statement, as I'm happiest when I'm cuddling with a human alongside my friend Sumi. We are two peas in a pod - just love attention, love to purr, love laps...we just love life since being rescued by our angel Christine.

If you are looking for a pair of bonded meezers - look no further - everyone that has met us just raves at how wonderful we are! We have learned how to smooze & love over our years!!

Go on & click on that button - we are ready to find our forever..forever family! Is it you??

Purrs & headbutts,
Si

P.S. - My foster meowm says I have a true meezer voice!

Notes from Home
Teddy here (FKA Si)!

So mom has renamed me Teddy because I look like a fuzzy teddy bear to her. This is fine by me as she cuddles me every time I see her. Sassy (perfect name for her because she does get sassy with me) and I have settled in just fine. Mom has lots of toys for us and a cat tree just like Ms. Debi had! I sometimes have trouble getting up on mom's bed and the couch, but then I surprise her and climb all the way to the top of the tree. She thinks I just like the sympathy and can really get around just fine. Both Sassy and I are eating our dry food and are enjoying the wet food we get too. Yum! We are being good with our box habits and are not scratching things we should not (mom forgot to say that in Sassy's update).

We had our vet visit and while I had some minor concerns, overall the doc loved us. Sassy and I know how to get people wrapped around our paws!

Well, I need to go back and mess up mom's bed. I don't like when she makes the bed as I like to mess the covers up and sleep under them.

I will certainly check back in and promise to let you know of any new quirks I have shown mom! Check out our pictures on Sassy's page, but I did post one of me. I always like to steal mom's chair when she gets up...

SUMI
Sumi here...just taking a little time to tell a little about myself. I am a talkative female & love laps. If you won't sit & allow me on your lap, I'll just jump up so you will catch me & I'll just cuddle in your arms. Matters not to me where I cuddle...just MUST cuddle & chat with you.

I had my vet exam today & I've been around the town long enough to know when I'm like the center of the vet's office's universe! Today, I was the center & everyone that met me could not stop talking about what a great gal I am.

I have a friend too...his name is Si...he's here with me at my foster meowm's house & she calls us a package deal...where I go...Si goes!

So enough about me cause I don't want to get the reputation of being "All about me"...so let's get started with this move...click on that button & my foster mewom will tell you all about us.

Purrs,
Sumi

P.s. -I had a nice report from my vet exam!

Greetings from Sassafras (FKA Sumi)!

So, Mom has been busy with work this week, but wanted to get a post on today to say how I am doing. She has renamed me Sassafras (Sassy) because I have such sass walking around and playing. She still sometimes calls me Sumi, but I don't care as long as she gives me love.

My buddy Si (Teddy) and I have settled in quite nicely here. We have plenty of toys and a nice cat tree to run up and scratch. It is the same one Ms. Debi had when she was fostering us! I have to say I love the multiple ball toys mom has. I like her to throw them and I chase after and then bring back to her. During the week I would bring one to her desk and sit there pretty hoping she would look down from her work. She could never resist. Oh and Teddy and I like to sit on her desk while she is working. I feel we are trying to help her, but she feels otherwise, but as you can from the picture, she just works around us. What a pushover!

We had our visit with the vet and I came out with flying colors. As usual, Teddy and I had them all wrapped around our paws. The vet couldn't get over how soft and silky my coat was and wanted to pet me all day.

So, I think it's time for me to head to bed. Teddy and I both like to burrow under mom's covers and sleep there for most of the day. If we are not there or in our cat tree, we are on her lap and loving it!

I will check in later once we have settled in more and shown mom our full personalities.

Headbutts, Sassy

PEARL
Just arrived and I'm still settleing in, but already I purr and headbutt, and rub all over meowmy. I'm so glad to be out of that scary shelter place! I hid in my shelter box the whole time I was there, but meowmy found me and brought me here. Now all I need is a forever home.

I am not comfortable with female cats, but have gotten to really like the laid back fellow here, Catnip. So if you have a nice boy like him or only want one cat, maybe I'd fit into your life. I eat all my food, and use my litter box, but I need a covered one so that everything stays in the box. Do I sound like the kitty you've been looking for? If so, ask about me and maybe I could come to spend my life with you.

Meowmy said to be sure to check your spam and junk folders for her reply the first time you ask about me..

Purrs, rubs, and headbutts,
Patches

I can't begin to express how wonderful a pet Pearl has become. She is so smart and seems to understand everything I say, such a good loving cat! She eats well, loves to play. There is something better about her everyday. She loves to be with us, but still hides with strangers. Hopefully that will
get better too. She's great! Update 3/14/12 She is better with strangers now, but still runs away at first. My husband was diagnosed with bone cancer 6 weeks after we got her, she stayed with him for hours a day and was such a comfort to me for months. He died Feb. l7 and has slept on his side of bed since. She is around me at all times except when sleeping and such a wonderful companion, I couldn't have made it without her, knew she was my cat the first time I saw her on internet! She is quite beautiful and has no bad habits, we love each other dearly. She intuits my emotions and acts accordingly, how perfect is that! Hopefully picture to follow by granddaughter.

GLADYS
It's a new year and I have new photos! Come on over and check them out! I am sooo ready for a new home. Will you give me and my daughter, Shweetie, a home we can call furrever? I promise to give you lots of headbutts and warm your lap and heart.

I'm Gladys and 1/2 of the Dynamic Duo. My daughter and I are a bonded pair that need to be adopted together. Can you believe I'm 11 years old? We're affectionately called Meezer (Siamese) Geezers. Don't be fooled, I'm still spry and love running around our foster room. I will headbutt you to death and expect a loving lap to settle in.

Would you like to know more about me and Shweetie? Let my foster meowm know by clicking on that button! Transport is available outside the northeast area to our pre-approved adopters' homes, so ask about Meezer Express!

Notes from Home
April 18, 2010:
Gladys is one HAPPY girl. As she definitely knows her name, we decided not to change it. She adjusted quite quickly and made this her forever home by rubbing Kent, me, and every piece of furniture, door casing, and cabinet in sight. She has had total control of the house for four weeks now. At first she and Shweetie only explored when Kent and I were not around (during the night and work hours) leaving their trail –footprints, bits of kitty litter in the window seat, my old kitty’s catnip mouse knocked off the fireplace mantel, etc. Then they got braver, zipping through the living room while we were in there, but not stopping.

Now, Gladys will join me on the sofa and snuggle up with me and/or Kent. Whenever one of us is paying attention to her she looks to the other for attention, too. Last week Gladys started getting under the covers while we are in bed and curling up in my arm – making bread and purring all the while –really cute. She has been talking to us since the first week she was home, calling, scolding (if we happen to disturb her sleep), and telling us when she wants attention. One thing Gladys continues to do, she always goes to visit Shweetie after she visits us.

Yesterday Gladys and Shweetie went for their first visit to their new vet. I covered their carrier in the waiting room so they would feel hidden from the scrambling, barky dogs that were waiting for their turns. It seemed to work, and the visit went very well. The only concerning thing the vet found was that Gladys has the beginning of cataracts (she said nothing to be alarmed about at this time.)

Today, as I am writing this, the girls have come down (almost) into my office in the basement. This is the final frontier for them here. They came down the stairs twice, the first time just to the landing and the second time all the way to the bottom, but did not come in the door – maybe the third time is the charm!? I am sure I will have computer kitties in the very near future.

October 17, 2010: Seven months!! It certainly doesn't seem like that long since those very, very shy girls come home to our house. They are sooo funny. Gladys and Shweetie have become real love bugs vying for the best lap spot. The girls are now being integrated with their new house mate Sagwa.

Wow, Gladys and Shweetie have been a part of our family for TWO years. It seems like they just arrived and yet have been with us forever - truly precious little girls.

Its been a while since I updated, the girls and Sagwa got along perfectly, eating together, sleeping next to each other. Sometimes Sagwa would steal their double pod and they would stuff themselves into a small one. He taught them to be "almost" normal cats. So they began following us everywhere and talking like real meezers. In fact, now they are pretty loud and demanding - it was great to watch that happen! Unfortunately, they lost their pal to lymphoma after only a few months.

The girls sleep with us every night, sometimes under the covers. We call Gladys "mommy dearest" because she will bite Shweetie on the butt if she is in her way. It is too funny to see.

We love them both dearly and they will be getting a new brother, Jethro, in a few days. That should keep them on their toes for a while!

YOSHI
I am waiting patiently for my own home. I am a big gentle girl who is content to be nearby if not in your lap getting head scratches and petting. I don't demand attention but I love people and am very appreciative of whatever attention you will give me. I used to live with a family with children before going to the shelter. Other cats are fine with me. If they get too frisky, I find a quiet place to hang out.
I do have a little bit of playfulness and am frustrated that I can't seem to catch that arrow that moves around on the computer screen.

Notes from Home
It's been almost two years! I am just now beginning to answer to my real name, Yoshi, because Miz Kitty was a lady on Gunsmoke, not a beautiful Siamese cat. Hello to Kay, my nice foster lady in VIrginia. The lady here has been very good to me, and I like it here. I've had some serious health problems, but she takes good care of me. In turn, I take good care of her, by following her around, and waiting patiently for my food. She tells me I am the smartest cat she has ever lived with, but sometimes I surprise her, because I can be 'full of the devil.' She also says I am the most photogenic cat. See my pictures!

ZEPHYR
My name is Zephyr and I am a stunning blue point Siamese. I love to give people and everything in my way a head butt. I am a VERY loving cat. I kept hiding in my cage at the shelter, so they thought I'd do better in rescue. I'm doing just great in my foster home. In fact, I'd much rather be "out and about" than in a foster room. Can you spring me sometime soon? I'd love to be your big blue man and love you all the time. I love the other cats and kittens here, so a buddy or two would be just fine with me. My eyes are really crossed, but foster mom says it adds to my charm. P.S. Foster mom had trouble getting pictures of me because I kept headbutting the camera and her! She'll keep trying.

UPDATE: Boy, foster mom has "really" done it now!! She promised more pictures, but she didn't say she was dressing me up like a big blue snowcat!!! Someone HAS to adopt me and get me away from this crazy lady. She thinks I'll be more "attract.....ive" all dressed up! Who is she kidding? I'm just a marvelous cat the way I am with my own blue fur coat. and NO blue snowcat hat. Love and headbutts, Zephyr.

Notes from Home
Well, the big guy with the Christmas hat has been here for 5 years, and this lady has never updated my page! Shout out to Katy in Indiana, if you still remember me. The lady here really wants to try to figure out how I wandered away from home and ended up in a shelter in the first place, because I am perfect. And, lucky me, I ended up in the best place. Now, we have this nice little lady cat...very cute, but I pretty much ignore her. I enjoy sleeping, sitting in the sun, sleeping, eating, sleeping, and protecting the nice lady here by keeping her warm at all times. Cheers!

GABY
I don't believe it ! I really don't believe it ! My sister Flare was adopted before me ! That's not fair - I'm the brave and outgoing one - she's the shy little wallflower. I'm the one who wants attention and likes laps - not her ! It's just not fair !!!

I'm young, I'm healthy, I have excellent litterbox manners and I just ooze purrsonality. Won't you go ahead and ask about me - maybe I can still win and have my furever home before Flare leaves for hers.

Foster Meowm says that I really do need a home with at least one other feline companion to romp and play with - is it yours ?

It feels like spring in Massachusetts and Gaby says to tell you she loves living by the ocean where she can smell the salt air and watch the seagulls soar outside our windows. She is a happy-as-the-day is long girl and likes nothing better than to perch on my hip while I'm sleeping and burst into a purr loud enough to wake me up. Gaby gets along especially well with flame brother Houdini and they love to chase around the house. She has one goal and that is to be an SCRC calendar girl...Isn't she cute?
