Liam aka "Snuggie" brings me such joy. He has such a wonderful personality and has thrived since being at my home. He and Reba are best buddies and play and chase each other all over the house! He weighs about 8 pounds but very lean and long! He's absolutely beautiful. Everyone adores him. Thank you for helping me find him!

Hello! Wanted to let everyone know 'Daisy' is doing great!! She is so sweet and playful and fits in so well!
Hello, just wanted to give an update on Daisy. It is absolutely amazing how well she has fit into our home!! She is so just so sweet. She loves to relax in her heated fur cat bed, play, loves her toys and loves to fetch and bring it back and drop it at your feet!!
Daisy has absolutely no bad habits!! She has always used her litter box, very healthy, doesn't scratch any furniture and is very smart! She listens well and gets along with my 9 year old Siamese wonderfully. Lily took a little while to warm up to her but Daisy had the best methods to win her over! The only issue I had initially was allowing me to clip her toe nails, she actually used to growl as a kitten but she was hardly scray! haha We worked through it though and now she is perfectly fine with it, of course :-) Everyone that meets her adores her. She especially likes to lay on guests' shoulders and attack their head if they sit down. Its her way of greeting people, haha! Overall, she is as close to perfect a cat as I could have hoped for!! My legs are SO long that when I stand up on my hind legs to do what foster dad calls a "hi-oh" Silver, I am the tallest cat he's ever petterd standing on my legs. And, that's a lot of cats. I love people and love to headbutt you, but unless you have a super large lap, it's hard for me to get comfortable in it. I'll sit BY you, though. I'm not a big talker, but I purr a LOT. Hi to everyone,
Well Max is doing great now. No more door dashing thanks to everyone's help. Loves his new cat tower and hardly bats at the dogs anymore. Even lets the other siamese Mona Mia give him a bath.
NICE BOY and we love him! Oh, he now weighs 15 pounds~
Hello -
Macchiato MAX is doing well. He is quit a chirper and the female kitty is SLOWLY warming up to him being in the house. She still can't be in the same room with him for more then about 5 minutes but she is doing better.
He loves his toys, treats and lots of love. Explores on his own upstairs and downstairs when the dogs are outdoors. Eating very well and such a love bug.
12/12/11 - Downstairs most of the day now. Not hiding at all. Very playful and retrieves his mice for me to throw. Gaining weight and very happy boy!!

DEXTER
UPDATE: Dexter here showing off my "big" paws and saying "hi". Yep, I'm pretty cute and a funny boy at that. If you want a kitty to entertain you and make you giggle, you'd better ask about me - you can see how silly I can be some days. Purrs and waves from big boy Dexter.
Dexter at Hotel deShue along with some other snowshoes, too. WOW, there are three seal point snowshoes (one resident) and we are all 12 pounders. Big kitties, wouldn't you say. Hey, I'm a big guy with huge feet, but I'll tell you, those girl kitties need to "get a little slimmer". I'm still a little shy but am getting used to the "sun room suite" at this hotel. I am an easy going, laid back and sweet boy. LaShawn took a short video of me at the shelter and Mama Katie promises to get another one up for you to see pretty soon. I love to give headbutts and rub my cheeks all over you and everything in my room. I also like to make BIG air biscuits with my BIG paws. LaShawn took some pictures of that, too. See my "big feet" in my gallery shots. And "tummy rubs" - Oh, I love those, too. I've been watching the reisdent kitties through the window door and they all seem pretty nice. When I've been here a little longer, I'll be glad to meet them.
If you see some "thin" fur in my picture, I was a stray (how did that happen to such a handsome boy as me) and got a bad case of "fleas" and my body doesn't like them at all. I have a flea bit allergy. Now I'm free of those "buggers", but now I have to wait until all my fur grown back in to be a full furred boy. You can love me just like I am, though, can't you? Be sure to ask about me and I'll fill your home with a warm cat on your lap on a cold night and purr up a storm when you need comfort. Purrs and headbutts, Dexter.

3/27/12 - Dexter now has free run of the house. He discovered a cat bed in our loft that was long abandoned by our other cat, Maggie, and has claimed it as his own. While he's still a bit shy he always comes out to see us when we've been at work or away for awhile. He absolutely loves the Science Diet z/d dry food that we feed Maggie and discounted the foods sent by Katie and Vic the minute we offered it to him - since we can only feed Maggie z/d we were worried that he might not eat it so this was a relief! On Wednesday last week we picked up some new toys when we stopped in at Petsmart for more cat litter. Maggie couldn't have cared less about the toys, but Dexter seems to love them. Maybe he is younger than we thought!
5/8/12 Dexter is totally settled in at Chez Kate. He and Maggie have come to an amicable truce and we even caught them sleeping together last week. I think that Maggie could do without his mess (she is very careful about keeping litter in the box and food in the dish - Dex, not so much), but she absolutely loves the chase game that he taught her. I often see her tearing down the hallway only to stop and check that Dexter is following. Maggie has always loved to lick the water out of the shower, and has often sat nearby to complain if you take too long. Even though he's not interested, Dexter will now come and assist with her complaining to make sure you know it's important. While his voice is not as loud as your typical Siamese we have discovered that he is just as chatty. Pretty darn cute.

GRIFFIN
I am such an awesome cat - I hope someone takes me and my brother home soon! I have all the best meezer features - super soft creamy fur, big blue eyes that are slightly crossed (my foster mom's favorite feature!), and great litterbox habits. I love attention and have a great meezer voice. I will follow you everywhere to make sure I get plenty of head scratches. If you are not around, I can be found sleeping in my new favorite spot- curled up in the bathroom sink! Oh, and I love to drink fresh water from the sink, so my foster family always turns it on for me when they're in there. I really love to hang out with the kids here, even the 4 year old likes to give me lots of attention and I'm really gentle with her. Now that I am adjusted in my new foster home, I am not shy or cautious at all. I just need about two weeks to get comfortable. I love hanging out with my brother, Phoenix, and we are just two laid back boys waiting for our forever home. I am loving and affectionate, and SO well behaved - please inquire about me so my foster mom can tell you how awesome I am!
Oh, and don't tell Phoenix, but foster mom thinks I am the most handsome cat of all - pretty irresistable. :)

So, I had my teeth cleaned yesterday. That was quite an ordeal. I'm home now and sooooo hungry. But my teeth feel so much better. I missed my brother Phoenix and that crazy old Uncle Bogie of mine, but I knew when Mom picked me up last night I was going to be OK. I'm happy now hanging out with Mom while she checks her email.

And I love to throw my real toys over the upstairs loft - and get super excited whn my foster family fetches them back for me! Sometimes I like to play at night on top of the sleeping humans, but when they tell me "no" and push me off the bed I go play somewhere else. I am a good eater and use the litter box perfectly (although I sometimes like to bury extra items laying around in my litter!). I really love to hang out with the kids here, even the 4 year old likes to give me lots of attention and I'm really gentle with her. I love hanging out with my brother, Griffin, and we are just two laid back boys waiting for our forever home. DEE DEE
Wow - I'm at the Italian B& B for Wayward Siamese. Foster Meown Trish said that I'm a good kitten-girl, and that I'm growing, growing. I had a 'stay-cation" with Foster Meown Martha while Meowm Trish and Pop went to visit family in Maryland.
When I first got here. I showed Poppa Peter that I'm fearless, by slipping out of my kitty condo and romping through the living room - all one pound of me- surprised him, I did! Now you should see me be jungle-girl, climbing the bars of my condo - up, up I go. I should be a Cirque du Soleil star! Poppa Peter made me a high shelf in my condo, so I can watch the birdies outside on the bird feeder he moved right outside the glass door for us kittens to see.
My favorite thing after playing on my 'gym' and with the feather wand is to jump up Meown's leg, (gotta like those jeans - purr-fect for my little claws) and scamper right up into her arms! I also like to take flying leaps over the coffee tables, climb up the back of Poppa Peter's recliner, and zoom up the stairs to help Meown Trish on the computer. Meown somethimes calls me the 'little imp'. whatever that is.
The reason I'm on 'evaluation' is that I have a heart murmur and some heart disease. It isn't slowing me down, but Aunt Siri and Meown Trish are reviewing what my doctors recommend for me. Stay tuned for updates.

Dee Dee doesn't know that she's got heart problems. She lives everyday to the fullest, purring so loudly you can hear her across the room. She romps around the house, and chases her geezer brother, 15.5 y/o Tobias around the house. She is taking bet-blockers and specially formulated aspirin, and her doc thinks her heart sounds a little better. She will have another cardiac ultra sound in June. She loves ice cream, roast chicken, salmon and other people food. She and tortie point Ali, also a SR kitty, have occasional spats, as Ali's tortitude emerges periodically. Dee Dee relaxes in a large kitty condo/play pen periodically, which her doc thinks is good for her, so that she isn't over active.

REBECCA
I'm a very lucky little girl! I was rescued from an abusive hoarder situation and wisked away to a wonderful place called Angels of Assisi for reabilition. I was so scared when I first got there I hid under my blanket for weeks! I was full of nasty worms and and felt just awful. Those "angels" worked with me and made me feel better, loved on me and made me feel brave. Then auntie Bo said now you are ready to find your forever home and she called meowmy to come see if I could come to Siamese Cat Rescue, and here I am!
Meowmy said she'd describe me as a beautiful dilute tortie that is full of love. I'm even learning how to play like a cat. I never had a toy before and now I have lots to play with!
I don't like the girl kitties here, but I do love the boy, Copper, so if you have a boy kitty that would like a buddy, maybe it could be me?
If so, just ask about me and meowmy will fill you in.

5/6/12 We have had Rebecca for a little over a year now and she is a joy!! Loves to be cuddled and lays in Jim's lap watching TV!! She had a good vet check Saturday this week but likes to eat too much. On a diet of sorts now and enjoying the good life at High Laurel Inn.
I wanted to give you an update on Rebecca:
She has a private room with a kittie gate where she can come and go, private bathroom and queen size bed to play, relax and otherwise enjoy her forever home. She received a mini pillow with her "gifts" from Jeanne and that has been her favorite to play with. She will let us love and pet her anytime in her room but is very selective in coming to explore the rest of the house after her isolation period. The affection she shows is different from my seal point, Abbie. Very cuddlie and loves to rub her face on us. The vet check will be next on the to-do list. I enjoy being with her but she will nip if we pet her too much. Please feel free to post this if you like as an update. Good luck with your silent auction!! Helen Madison

I am a very playful cat, I am learning where everything is at, I don't wear a funny hat, what do you think about that? Take a good look at me, I am sweet but that you can't see. Foster mom calls me mixey, but she says someone will still pick me. Will that be you? Hootie Hoo.
Update 4/11/07 Annie is a healthy cat,she is eating good, has excellant litter box habits, and she is very loving. Sometimes skittish with loud noises but not a hiding cat. She will sit on your chest and make biscuits and give nose kisses.

Thank you for celebrating Annie's 5th anniversary! She is doing very well. She is healthy and loves to sleep and play with her adopted tuxedo sister that we saved from a local rescue. She loves purses especially my daughters, when she comes to visit. Annie loves to look through them and then relax on them. She will cuddle next to me when I am on the couch and we watch television together. Thank you again for helping the felines find forever home!
