WHAT'SA MATTER WITH EVERYONE OUT THERE? DON'T LIKE FAT BOYS?
Well, have I got news for you! I am losing those extra pounds!
Foster mom says I must lose it slowly so I don't get sick. I may
never be a slim and trim kitty, but I won't look like a beach ball
anymore!
I am as sweet and loving a fella as anyone could desire. AND I
am so well behaved. I'm good in my box, (and foster mom says
I am very neat and tidy), and I don't scratch anything I shouldn't, (as
long as you give me a scratching post or pad).
I'm even doing fine with the other cats here, except for that bully
flamepoint boy. I'm too gentle to fight and I try to avoid him. Foster
mom locks HIM up so I can come out of my "safe" room and play.
The dog that lives here is ok as well. She basically ignores me which
is fine by me.
I do still like to play - I love catnip - and I can carry on a conversation
with you.
On top of all that I AM VERY HANDSOME! Don't you think I am?

King Alfred is a wonderful boy! He is so quiet as he moves about the house. He is not overly cuddly but I think he may become more so. He has taken over the window seat where he can spy on the ginger cat next door. He and Floozy Anne sing duets at times but they do not fight. Both retreat. I guess there are some "words" exchanged. He is currently between 20 and 21 according to my bathroom scale. I think it rounds to the nearest 1/2 pound. He does not eat a great deal. I give him about 1 tsp of dry and about 1/3 can of wet twice a day. He finishes most of it. I think he is drinking from the fountain. There are two other water bowls around the house as well since the Floozy and the dog don't care for the fountain. In any case, his litter box is used. He likes sleeping on the floor, on a coffee table or on chair. I have all wood floors. The AC is usually off because he likes to sit in the open windows. Floozy does not like AC much either, nor do I unless it is unbearable. Hope he likes the wood fire in the winter as do the other two residents.
We will do our post-adoption check up next week. I don't have a car yet. I am using a neighbor's junker van when I need to go somewhere. Will let you know what the vet says. Photos when I get around to downloading them off my phone!

Do you want a female, but you're being told they can be moody, independent, only cats who are smart and opinionated and like to do their own thing?
How about looking at me then! Cuz I'm different! Yup, I'm a female, but I'm all about loving, and purring, and biscuit making, and snuggling! While I can play too, and I actually don't mind other cats at all if they don't mind me, I love to give headbutts (my head your head), I love to be slung on your shoulder and purr away, I love to sit on your lap and snuggle my head into your arms. Yup, you got it, I am just a love through and through!

Hi, Miss Patti is doing just fine, Tiko, male siamese has finally accepted her, she follows him around and they actually play together, which is what I wanted. My son who lives with me loves her too. The only thing I don`t like are the claws, she has already clawed my couch, I say no and she stops, but what happens when I am not around to hear her, we have a tower with places to claw, she does use this and I have the claw block that came with her.
She no longer stays in the spare room, she is out all the time with us, she is very sweet and we love her akready,

ZEETU
Outside for a VERY long time, I came in covered in ticks, scars, thin as a bone (5 pounds) and very sickly. 3 weeks later I have doubled my weight, my fur is soft and shiny, my goops and ganders are gone, and my bloodwork is looking great. I think I'm finally ready, so if you're looking for a nice candidate for your platform, let me know! (I have the best Meow, check out my video!)

It has been over 4 years since Zeetu fka Senator came to live with Zazou and me, and I am happy to report that with every year he has become happier and more convinced that he is "home", some people can be trusted, and even a Diva cat that was unwelcoming can be softened up. He is aging gracefully despite the fact he is somewhat blind and his kidneys are not functioning as they once did. He has a shiny coat, still loves to fetch and acts quite frisky and silly at times when he's feeling particularly pleased with himself. Life is once again as it should have been all along......

Hi, This is Brisa. I wanted to thank you for asking about me. I am having the time of my life.I have 3 buddies I hang with and chase all over the house. Sometimes they make my hair stand up, but don't worry, I do take care of them. My Meezer Mom takes me to the doctor to make sure I am ok. So far so good, nothing has happened to me. We have now had Thai for ten days, and it has been so much fun having Thai & his brother Jinx in our family. Thai is so outgoing, eating very well and loves to play. He has slept on our bed with us several nights, and purrs quite often. He is such a joy to have. Special thanks to Nancy S. for taking such great care of him. We have totally fallen in love with these boys!
Its been a little over 3 weeks and Thai had his wellness check at the vets today. He is 4.6 lbs and very healthy. Our vet thought he was so cute, he wanted to keep him! Thai is a sweet boy who loves to play and he sleeps on our bed almost every night now. Were so glad we have him! All is well!

Notes from Home
We have now had Jinx and his brother Thai for ten days which has ben so much fun. Jinx loves to play! He is too busy playing to be held most of the time, but has jumped in our bed at night about half of the nights we have had him, purrs and sleeps thru the night! He has a great appetite for being the runt, he out eats his brother, and is the instigator of the two for wrestling with his brother.
Its been a little over 3 weeks and Jinx had his wellness check at the vet. He is 3.9 lbs & doing remarkable. Vet said he is very healthy & was very impressed that the rescue faxed all his records. Jinx eats his and his brothers food, and now sleeps on our bed almost every night. It is like we have always had him! All is well!
