Jethro here, let me introduce myself. I am an older gent of a meezer but that just means I've been loved a lot by my first human. You see he adopted me as a kitten and we were together for more than 10 years. Then along came a wife and a baby who were very allergic to my slick, shiny fur and I ended up living in a den. Now that was nice for awhile but I missed being with people so my "bean" decided to do the best thing for me and found Siamese Rescue. I'm now being fostered with two true wedgie lovers, who have wedgies of their own. I know in time my heart will feel happy again, especially when I find a new forever home. For now, I'm resting and waiting...waiting for you...

Foster Notes

Notes from Home
Jethro arrived last night, a very sad looking (although very handsome) boy. He was "glued" in his cube in the back of the carrier. We talked to him and left him alone in his room for a while and when we returned he had eaten and used the litterbox. He was under the bed when we left him.

This morning I found him curled up in the kitty tree/condo. There is a hole in the bottom of that section for the cats to climb in which makes an easy access for a hand, too. So I began talking to him and petting him. After a half hour he began purring! After an hour he was moving around a bit (not much room in the condo) so I could reach more parts to scratch and when I took my hand away he would look out the hole to see where it went. Now he keeps purring even when I am on the bed trying to coax him out. If he stops purring I just have to talk to him from anywhere and he starts again. Can't wait to have him in my arms.

I hated to do it, but I had to pull Jethro out of his cube to give him the Drontal today. He took the pill quite well. The poor boy is so lonesome, he purrs when you pet him while he is tucked in the kittie condo, but as we know it is going to take some time. I slept in the foster room last night and felt him walk across my legs a couple of times, we'll see what happens tonight.

It’s hard to believe it has been over a month since our handsome Jethro came to his forever home. For the first couple of weeks I actually thought if any cat could ever die of a broken heart it would be Jets. Like so many OGUs he was just so very sad. He would still purr when we petted him while he was inside his cube or the kitty condo, but he was so crushed.
He would stay in his cube but run under the bed or bureau when anyone went in his room. It didn’t help that Kent had to literally drag Jethro out of his safe spot for his vet appointment – that set him back a bit.
One of us has slept in his room every night since he got here to help him get used to us. He is really active during the night. We have to lie on the floor to pet him in his cube (we have pine floors – after the first 30 minutes I start to wish we had carpeting!)
You will laugh at his pictures because I had to catch him with a wildlife/night camera. As my friend said when she saw his pictures - he is a handsome dude.
He is still hanging out in his cube but seems to be coming around more and more. He actually came out to eat while Kent was in the room twice (and it was light outside) – even a little progress is a wonderful thing.
We have a long way to go and we can’t wait to be able to hold him and enjoy his company and he ours – we love him so very much.

Great news! Great progress! Jethro has decided that he can trust Kent. A couple of weeks ago he started getting in bed (on Kent's side only). Then he began coming out and watching Kent mornings while he filled the cat food bowl. Then Jets started talking a little bit - of course - to Kent (his voice is tiny so far but I know from experience that it can change!) He is still afraid of me - cowers when I walk toward him, but then purrs when I pet him. Sometimes when he is with Kent and hears me coming he will run away. I am sooo jealous!! I think the woman who was allergic to Jethro must have yelled at him and chased him away.

This past weekend Kent was away and Jethro got in bed with ME one morning (only one but it's a start) AND he gave me a kiss! And, on two days he came out to watch me get his food ready. When Kent returned it was like two long lost friends meeting again. Jets came right out to greet him, purred, talked to him - I am really jealous! Seriously, I am just really happy that Jets is feeling happier than ever here and that he trusts Kent. Besides my turn will come....................

Jethro has made GREAT progress. Finally, the boy doesn't run when I come into a room where he is with Kent. Jets even comes into rooms when I am working/reading. He gets into bed with us (still on Kent's side, of course), loves to be petted and have his belly rubbed and purrs all the time. He has moved out of his cube (huge progress) and occupies one of two pods depending on where the sun is at the time.

Jethro now demands his "special" food aka treats. He has a tiny voice compared to our other meezers, both past and present, but he is persistent. It really seems like he is feeling more like he is home. I don't believe it will be too much longer until Jethro knows he is completely HOME.

Wow, Jethro has been home for a bit over 6 months - doesn't seem possible. He is doing very well, and we enjoy him so much. He and the "girls" still have a little way to go before they are buddies. They tolerate each other and Gladys will eat out of his dish with him - it does make him a bit nervous, but the food wins out over nervousness. Shweetie will occasionally run after him but since Jets is a giant chicken he just runs away and everything gets back to normal quickly. She keeps an eye on him as you will see in his pictures.
The handsome boy now sleeps with us every night and I am no longer in his disfavor. Jethro finally decided that I am okay, too, so I don't have to be jealous any more. He seems very happy here and purrs the minute you touch him. Be sure to check out the new pictures!

Do you want a devoted companion?

Do want a bedbuddy?

Do you want an undemanding lap kittie?

Do you want a little meezer conversation?

Well --- then you want me!!!

I'll follow you around but won't get in the way - I just want to be
near you. I'll let you know when I need a little snuggling - AND I will
purr like a rock grinder to show my appreciation. I'll also let you
know when it's breakfast or dinner time - that way you won't have
to check the clock! I'm very helpful that way. You will have to give
me my thyroid pill, but I'm very good about taking it. Foster mom
says I am soooo...easy to care for and to love.

Could you love me?

I'm handsome!

I'm sweet!

I'm loving!

I'm good in all my habits!

What more could you want?

I am writing for my Mom-Jean, who does not have a computer. Duke is amazing. When we brought him home after a 10 hour car ride he never hid under anything-he explored the entire paremiter of the inside house-first with his tale down and then round 2 was with his tale up. He seems to find a new favorite spot to nap every day-on the bed, in the chair, in his millie bed, on the living room end table and mostly on my Mom's lap. He is gentle, fearless and friendly to everyone. He loves to be close or within sight of Mom. Is often on her lap. His appetite is good and he is using his box except twice he (I guess) needed a change and peed in the bathtub drain. Mom said she didn't care but I pitched a fit and Mom has agreed to shut the sliding door on the tub and strongly encourage the litter box. He takes his Thyroid pills with no problem and let me trim his claws. Mom said that Duke has a great personality and she is so very happy with him. I imagine he will train her well to spoil him. This is a great match. Mom will call Connie next week after she takes Duke to the vet for his check up.

9/29/12. Sorry this took so long- I am writing for my Mom-Jean who does not have a computer. She says Duke is the best cat she has ever had. She is often home and Duke never leaves her sight and is often on her lap. He sleeps with her and loves his play toys in the evening. He also loves cat nip. He has filled out-he is not fat but he is huge. No major medical issues-had some bladder issues and Mom needed to change vets to a more high tech modern practice and Duke got better. He has decided he want 2 litter boxes-one for each-so this is what he has. He sometimes likes to nap on the bed and other times in the window. I go over at least monthly to clip his claws and he is so good. He is not shy or afraid of any new person. He is very calm but Mom said he does have a Meezer voice when he wants something and breakfast time is between 5-6am and he will nuzzle and pat Mom until she gets up. I have pictures on my I-pad but cannot figure out how to send them. If anyone can help please e-mail me. This is a great match.

Foster Meowm says that you will not find a sweeter girl around. I may be a Seal Point female but I have absolutely no attitude, none of that diva personality here. She says because I'm so petite that the sweetness took up all the room. I do have a soft voice that I'm not shy to use, especially when I want attention. I love rubbing against my human to the point I flop onto my side. I love rolling around on my back for the pure joy of it. I'm not into being held or being a lap kitty...yet, but perhaps in time.

I am a timid girl with new situations but not with people. I would be happiest in a quiet home with no children where I can be loved on. I would do well with a laid back, sweet natured male cat who will respect my space. Dogs make me nervous with their quick movements, but if they are low energy and laid back I would be ok with them.

While being here I have had perfect litterbox habits with no accidents. I'm being fed a high quality diet (Innova EVO) because supposedly I have a delicate stomach, so no by-products, grains or fillers for me. I'm doing great on the food and gobble it up. FM says only the best for me and I am soooooo worth it.

I enjoy playing with different toys but I'm not a high energy girl. My favorite toy is a catnip-filled banana that I love rubbing myself all over and box kicking the heck out of. I also enjoy anything with feathers, chasing and batting balls around. I love laying around in tall cat trees and bird watching. Nothing better than getting a sun bath.

If you're looking for a petite girl to share your quiet home with, please contact my Foster Meown and let her know.

Notes from Home
It has been six months since Cleo entered our lives and we all just adore her. She is a wonderful companion and brightens every one of my days. She is very active, VOCAL, and sweet, loves to play everyday with her various toys (Loves stringy toys the best, and her special catnip banana from her foster Mom Lisa Patnaude). She is also a lapcat and prefers to take her nap on my lap in the afternoons when I read or do my crossword puzzles. Cleo must know where everyone in the family is and is especially receptive when visitors come, or my son comes home from work in the evening.
She is a joy to our lives and we are so grateful to have found her with your help.

9/27/2012 update.
Cleo (we call her "Baby Girl" now full-time) is doing very well. Recently had her physical for the year and is still healthy and happy. We can not believe it has been 4 years since we adopted her. She is truly a joy in our lives (mine particularly as I just turned 85 myself and spend much time at home). She is wonderful company and a loving companion. She is still very vocal and playful, still loves to find new spots to have a nap (just to keep things interesting) and is happy to sit and sleep on my lap while in 'our tv chair'. Her appetite is still good, and she still looks very young -it is hard to believe that she is 14 yrs + !. Many thanks again to all at Siamese Rescue who helped care for her and bring her into our lives -and make this, our home, her 'furever' home as well. -Corinne Murray

10.10.11. It has been two weeks and 2 days with my beloved PJ. He finally understands that the counter top is a "no deal". All I have to do is snap my fingers and he is down in a flash "BUT MOM!!!!" pout on his face. He discovered the shower curtain, and that's one of his hiding spots, in between the liner and the actual curtain. He doesnt like the vacuum, oy! That is an instant "saucer eye, get me the heck outta here, hide under the dining room table moment". He likes thrifty toys, isnt impressed by fancy Martha Stewart stuff (now I know, haha) LOVES his snake wand, and his catnip carrot, those are his favorite toys, besides the Christmas socks he pulled out of my winter sweater box. I think he has a fancy for the glitter snowflake pattern, or he just got nosy after he went through my sweaters (I caught him red handed digging in the box). He also loves straws or anything that looks like a straw. If I get a soda or juice, turn my back for 10 seconds, hes removed it from the cup and in the corner chewing on it, or tossing it around like a soccer ball. He loves boxes, and the closet. Percy is a tall boy, loves to be picked up and held like a kitten, stretching out, and having his belly rubbed, and rolling on his back and chatting to me. He's mama's little man, and has become quite the lap kitty. If he isn't in my lap, he likes to sit and watch me read or watch TV for a little while then he comes in for the kill, usually with toe nibbles and then scooting his rear end up next to me and curling up... so clever. This week I was a little under the weather and he never left my side unless I got up to get meds or juice, and if I did, he was my shadow, looking up at "mama" talking.

Percy isnt a big eater or a scrap kitty, and I love it. The other day by mistake, I left my hot pocket on the counter in the plastic, all I kept thinking was "he ate it, and now hes going to have tummy issues when I get home". I get home, he met me at the door, and wanted his little night supper snack of wet food, the dry food he devours ONLY when I'm not around. I get the "im starving and havent eaten all day" dramatics usually, haha...but the hotpocket was completely intact, still sitting on the counter . Percy follows me everywhere, and is a skilled leg weaver, loves to tackle my legs when I walk past. He has a fancy for bellbottom pants, and toe rings (imagine that!), he's sneaky . He gives kisses, loves his red blankie and fancy leopard bowls Mama Siri gave him from the Center to bring home (thank you Mama Siri!). He has his little toybox, and when he wants to play, you can see him trot past with his carrot in his mouth, tossing it up. He got his first collar, bright blue to bring out his eyes, a tiny bell so I can hear him, and a little fishbowl "charm", with blue water with a little nemo fish. Percy is my little sidecar...can't do anything but love and protect my soulmate. :-) Andrea

9.25.12- Wow, it has been a year already, and it has been wonderful. PJ (Percy James) is still the love of my life, and wins the hearts of everyone. My little man, my little man, my little man. Seems as if I just picked him up (or met the lovely meezer express) yesterday to bring him home and time has flown by, BUT he is still my favorite and forever baby boy! I have learned alot about my little special guy the past year. He likes toys that make noise, and loves to wake me in the morning for his breakfast by any means necessary. He likes California Natural Salmon and Sweet Potato formula, and wants to have it pronto, or he nips my toes. PJ likes to run out from under the dining room table and attack my legs when I walk past, and does a little oompa loompa dance. His mischievious Dennis the Menace trick? Straws. HE LOVES STRAWS and steals them if I bring a lidded cup home, doesnt touch my mcnuggets or cheeseburger... but takes my straw. I guess before he wasnt a scrap kitty, I let a friend keep him when I went out of town and somehow PJ discovered bacon and hashbrowns, and he has raided my plate once when I turned my head, everyone is pleading the fifth, including PJ (humph!). His favorite spot to sit is the window, and he times me to a science when he thinks I should be home, he knows what the car sounds like as well as the alarm. An overall quiet boy, I get an earful of "fun" if I am late because he wants to lay down with me and cuddle and watch TV, after he has had his num nums and a couple of tablespoons of wet food of course. He will still sell his soul for a belly rub and shows affection by purring like a harley and licking your arms or face, but if you get too close, he will nip when he's annoyed, but dont we all? Of course he still plays rough if he gets too excited, but I think he is just stating his "manhood". He likes my friends, and is quite friendly and vocal, or he will just sit and stare like Alfred HItchcock, sizing you up, my friend's 4 year old daughter likes him, and he likes her, maybe its a girl thing? Everyone talks about what a tall tom he is. But ever so handsome and personality with just enough type A not to be impossiblem he is a little skittish at the vet, but they make special provisions when he goes in, NO DOGS allowed in the office on PJ day ( yeah, we learned that the hard way). He's the first face I want to see in the morning and the last one I want to see at night..my Percy J. Please see the pics I have included. One is his love of the washer and his best Playcat pose for "zee ladies", the other is him in his favorite hideout above the cabinets, all he is missing is the trucker hat with his little arm hanging out the window, and if I could just get a decent picture of him in a bag or a box without him looking like the Omen? that would be nice!!! We love you all at the Rescue! - and what is this buzz from Miss Kathi I heard about the calendar? tee hee heee! :-) Love Andrea and PJ!

Notes from Home
Chelan's first trip to the vet on 9/14/2012 went well. The vet and vet techs there said he was a very sweet cat and they all thought he was beautiful. He weighed in at 8.14 lbs and his general appearance was normal. He had a little bit of a viral upper respiratory infection but that seems to be all cleared up now.
He was treated for worms and had a stool sample taken but no other parasites were found. This is because his poop seemed to be irregular.
He had a little bit of a case of diarrhea a couple days ago, but I think that was because he got into the trash and was eating leftover fried chicken.

He loves to play with his toys and my roommate's 5 month old kitten. They are a rough and tumble pair and they are starting to not play all the time and just enjoy each other's company.

He definitely likes to be petted and loved on, but he is also quick to let you know when he wants you away from him. Unfortunately that usually means that Chelan goes to bite when he does not want you to pet him anymore. My roommate, boyfriend, and I have on separate occasions been petting him and Chelan will appear to be happy, and then the next second he will go to bite your hand and sometimes he does. We try to firmly tell him no and ignore him, but ignoring him seems to be what he wants.
He does not enjoy baths very much. I had to give him a couple because his diarrhea was getting in his fur and he would start yowling and quickly progress to scratching and biting, especially because the area I had to wash was mostly his backside.

He is a beautiful cat, and when he is happy and wants attention he is so very sweet, but he also seems to have an irritable side that comes out especially when you don't let him have or do what he wants.

Is it time to show some tortitude? Why aren't you asking about me?

As you can see from my new pictures, I'm a beautiful little tortie point girl. I have a coat of many colors and a personality to match. Sometimes I'm a lovey dovey and sometimes I just want to play, play, play!

I am good with other cats and am getting along just fine with Foster Mom's three siamese girls. I'm always trying to get them to play with me so if you have a kitty that likes to play - I'm looking for a playmate.

I do kind of like things on my terms. I don't really like to be picked up and will complain but I do like to climb into your lap when I'm ready to snuggle. I like to be in the room with you as I like to know what you're doing and when it's bedtime I'll snuggle in right next to you. It's ok though - I don't snore.

If you're looking for a fun little girl then click that button right now and ask about me. Tortie girls just wanna have fun!

Hello Laura
Can you believe a year has gone by well my Ginny is a love and she loves to hunt any bug that comes in the house, loves to sleep with us and always tells us when it's time for bed. She's great listener she comes as soon she's called. Loves deli turkey, and is very healthy. I can never repay Siamese Cat Rescue for the great cat.

Mosby has settled in beautifully. He's a very smart guy with a bottomless appetite. And he loves to play fetch!

I will get photos, I'm just not very good at it.

We couldn't be happier with Mosby. He is incredibly smart and learn quickly. He loves to play, but he's a lot faster than we are when it comes to daBird!

His coat has grown in rich and thick and minky and the saddle patch at his shoulders is a perfect inverted heart. He's been healthy since we got him over the ear thing.

He couldn't be more affectionate. His favorite place to be is curled up on the sofa with Dennis, but I get my share of Mosby time, too.

He gets along with the girls, keeps them on their toes. One minute they are washing each other's faces, the next, the racing and rowdying is on!

He is really a sweetheart and we couldn't be happier.

Carlie and Dennis

My brother Holden has nothing on me. Aren't I handsome? We share a couple new pics for you to check out. I am playful and just love to race and play. I kind of like that rough and tumble stuff. Two of us would be great cus it is hard to play by yourself. So check us all out and pick me and someone else.

Just wanted to add an update on how Theo Gallaway is doing. He is the most amazing little cat. He purrs almost constantly, loves to be cuddled, races around the house in the morning like a crazy cat, chases Benjamin, Beau & Lily (my Tonkinese, Burmese, Burmese) and follows me everywhere.
Last night, all 4 cats crashed together and this morning there was no hissing. He got a facewash from Benjamin, offered head bumps to Beau and Lily and saw his reflection in a mirror and stared fiercely at this other cat.
He's eating, drinking, using his box, playing w/his toys, stretched out in a sunbeam yesterday and seems to be very much at home.
I'm keeping him in my bedroom for now, but I did let Beau stay with him today. Theo was following him around the room, rubbing his head under Beau's throat.

29 SEP - Theo and my other 3 cats appear to be getting along beautifully. This morning, he chased all 3 of them (Benjamin, Beau & Lily) around the house..he was a white blur at their backsides. Then he proceeded to strut around the house like Marshall Dillon who had just ousted some varmints from Dodge City. He follows all of us around, purrs, cuddles and has learned what the word 'treat' means.

15 OCT - Theo is growing almost in front of my eyes. Legs and body getting longer, still his beautiful colours and that adorable little face. He is now firmly entrenched with his new cat family and has been the recipient of many face washes, chases (to include chasing) and cracks me up as he mirrors everything Beau and Benjamin does. To include how they recline on the floor. He loves Lily and she is beginning to lose her shyness with him. He has also discovered the kitchen counter tops and has paused in front of the TV at times to watch in fascination at something that caught his attention.

24 SEP 2012 - Theo's 1 year anniversary was this weekend and it's hard to believe it's been a year. I also cannot imagine what it was like without him as he is such a part of the family. He and Benjamin, Beau and Lily are thriving, playing together, chasing each other, watching birds, wrestling and meowing vocally for breakfast. He has become more confident and I can now pick him up and snuggle him, he will come to me when called, although there are times when he is skittish. He loves to look out the back patio screen door and listen to the birds and sniff the breeze. He has an affinity for my pine cone collection in a basket in the family room so I"ve had to move that as who knew a cat would like to carry a pine cone around? He is still one of the cutest kittens I've ever seen and he knows that too of course. He has enriched our lives and we are all the more blessed for his presence and most of all, we are blessed because of all of you at Siamese Cat Rescue Center. On behalf of Theo and so many others whose lives you have changed, thank you.

Notes from Home
Diego is an adorable boy! He loves to play! It took him about a day to fully adjust and trust us, but now he is a sweet purr machine, like his brother. He is an expert at his litter box, and is very vocal!

9/30/11- Diego is such a silly boy! He is a spaz and is a lanky boy. Out of the two he is the best jumper! Diego loves to play but when he is feeling snuggling he gives the best head bumps, nudges and kisses. He's not as good of a car rider as his brother, but still very well behaved!
We went to visit my family last weekend, and Diego LOVED their dog! He wasn't afraid of him at all and even jumped on the dog's back! Diego loves his brother and the play and snuggle all day. He loves getting groomed by his bro Paco.
The boys are generally good but have done some "bad boy" things... for example:
When we were visiting my family last weekend there were 6 people in the house (one-story house, not very big). We noticed the kitties weren't running around as usual, so started to call them and look for them. All 6 of us searched the entire house (including washers, cabinets, mattress boxsprings, EVERYWHERE!) and couldn't find them! They didn't even respond to us calling them or rattling their toys. My dad looked outside with a flashlight, but no sign of them! After an hour of searching, and no luck, my dad suggested we all "be very quiet." We started to hear very faint scratching coming from the couch that we have already taken all cushions off of. We found the kittens INSIDE of the pull-out couch, cuddled up in the backboard. No idea how they got there, but we were glad they were safe! What bad boys (but so adobrale)! Such a classic Meezer trick!
We are just thrilled with Diego and his brother Paco! The best part of our day is when we get to snuggle with them! And we are glad we got two so we don't fight over them!

10/19/11- Diego is our pesty/lovey boy. He frequently wakes us up at night by licking our necks and eyelids and purring on our necks! He is also a real spaz! Such a sweetie. He loves snuggling with his brother, Paco. He is the louder of the two and meows/bangs on the door until we wake up in the morning to feed him (at 6 AM). We are always greeted with purrs and snuggles when we get home from work. He is a VERY beautiful kitty and I think he will grow up to be a lanky boy. We are soooo happy with him, and with his brother! They add such fun and love to our lives!

3/15/12- It is our 6th month anniversary of having adopted our little Diego and his brother Paco. We love them both so much! Our little guys are wonderful cats, and are still full of surprises. They are very happy spoiled boys, and are VERY handsome.

Diego is definitely a daddy's boy and clings to my fiance Andrew. He is a spaz! Our little guy is very vocal, much more so than his brother. And unlike his brother, he has a loud and proud meow. Diego has kept his habit of licking my fiance's neck at night and in the morning (and when he gets home from work). He jumps up on him, latches on with his paws around his neck like a baby, and purrs and licks. Yep, he's an oddball, but we love him! Our long-tailed boy is very handsome and walks around with his tail high up in the air like a submarine periscope. His face is whiter than his brothers, who has more stripes, and he has beautiful clear baby blue eyes! Diego likes to sleep at my fiance's head at night. He is not a fan of water, and will scream at the top of his lungs when we try to give him a bath. He's not as in to jumping and playing with the bat-a-bird toys as his brother, but he does love to wrestle. Any wiggling toes and he's ready to pounce! Both boys warm to strangers quickly, though Diego is a little more cautious. He is also not as good in the car and meow's much more than his brother on our frequent trip home to visit my family in Delaware. They have even become (semi) friendly with my family's dog (a pembroke welsh corgi). Diego is a very sweet boy!

Our boys are very good too.... very soft-pawed and let you pick them up whenever. They are even pretty good with getting their toenails cut, baths (well, except for Diego), and they are very healthy. and they LOVE each other! However, they are also VERY mischievous! Several times we have come home to find plants on the floor with the pots broken, things in their wrong place, and them laying on the kitchen table. We always bragged how they had never had a litter box accident, and then last week they proved us wrong and peed on our futon mattress! Bad! (although I think this was their way of telling us their litter box was too messy, which it was).

We are very proud and happy cat-parents! WE LOVE OUR BOYS SO MUCH!!!!!

Hi, it’s me, Diego! Wow! One year already since I moved in with mamma and daddy!

You can tell me apart from my brother because I have very pale blue eyes, a pinker nose, not as many stripes on my face and some faint spots on my side! Mamma calls me a spaz and is always laughing at me, but I’m also more sentimental than my brother.
I’m not a big fan of strangers until I get to know them, and will usually go hide away under the bed. But I LOVE my momma and daddy and am a super snuggle bug with them! Every morning and after daddy gets home from work I curl up on his chest and knead and lick his neck with my motor running. We have a very special bond. Momma says I look like a baby. I also love belly rubs and scratches!
Some of my other favorite things are knocking down flower vases on the floor, sleeping in the sunshine, and provoking my brother for some rough-and-tumble play (followed by a snuggle session). I also have a routine of begging for lunch meat every morning when momma packs her lunch (I have a VERY prominent meow!). In fact, I LOVE food and will try to steal it if you don’t cover it up! Sometimes I score a few goldfish crackers off of mamma’s plate, which are my favorites!
I did have a few problems with peeing on momma and daddy’s futon. Sometimes I would get mad if they went away or if the litter box wasn’t clean enough for my liking. I’ve been good for several months though and mamma and daddy have been better taking care of my litter box by adding another one and keeping them clean.
I was a very good boy at the vet for my 1-year check-up, or so mamma told me. I even let the vet cuddle me and didn’t cry when they gave me my shots. I HATE getting my nails clipped and taking baths, though!
I’m good friends with my dog cousin Zachary. We get along really good and I like him (but don’t tell him that!). Finding good places to hide is also fun, and it’s really funny when mamma and daddy get worried because they can’t find me! Grandma thinks it’s funny when daddy gets so worried because she says that Siamese are expert hiders and always turn up in the oddest of places. Recently I got inside the bathroom vanity and inside the back of the couch. Cozy!
So I guess you could say I love my house, family, and life here! Okay, time for a nap!

My name is Pax. Foster mom says I am quieter than my brother Jax. I love to play with him - we play in our litter box and hang out together in the hammock! I love to climb too!

Right now I am still nursing on my momma. I need to grow bigger and stronger before I go home. Momma and foster mom are taking good care of me.

You can ask about me soon but I won't be able to go home until sometime in September!

Paco is settling in great!!! He and his brother Diego are very sweet and also very playful!

9/30/11 - Paco and his brother have been with us for over 2 weeks! Wow! He is a great little boy. Very active with his brother and a definite snuggle/purr machine. He is growing so fast!
We took Paco and Diego to visit my parent's house this weekend and everyone just loved them. They even got to meet the dog, which went well! Paco was definitely more wary of him than Diego and did some spitting and hissing, but they ended up getting along well. He adjusted very well to the new environment. He was also the best in the long car-ride and slept in his carrier almost the whole way. Paco even helped calm his brother down during the car ride with snuggles and some grooming. What a cute pair!
Paco is a lovebug and loves to snuggle with and groom his brother. But don't let the pictures of them snuggled up and stationary fool you, because they are always on the go! Paco just had his first nail clipping and purred through the whole thing.
He hasn't managed to stay in our room for the whole night yet because the boys like to wrestle and play on the bed throughout the night!
He revisits the vet next week for his last shot.
We love him so much and can't wait to come home everyday to get snuggles from our Paco Taco!

10/19/11- Paco has been with us for over a month! He's just a great little guy... and is growing big! At his last vet visit (where he was a VERY good boy for his shot), he weighed 3.1 pounds. Check out his pictures-- he is adorable! A definite snugglebug. He has developed a habit of trying to run out the door of the apartment when we leave for work in the morning, but luckily he can't get too far (unless he learns how to work the elevator). He's going to be a very handsome cat when he grows up. We love him very much!

3/15/12- It is our 6th month anniversary of having adopted our little Paco (Paquito) and his brother Diego. We love them both so much! Our little guys are wonderful cats, and are still full of surprises. They are very happy spoiled boys, and are VERY handsome.

Paco is more of a momma's boy. He's not so much the snugglebug (as is his brother), but sleeps at the foot of the bed every night. He is very active and LOVES to play, especially with his bat-a-bird toys where he shows off his very impressive jumping skills! In the past month he has become much more vocal, though his meow is still a baby squeak! He loves getting his ears rubbed and sits by the sink every morning as I get ready, frequently stealing my makeup brushes and running away with them. Paco is definitely better with water, and sits in the tub every time after it's used, frequently curls up in the wink, and loves running water. He is also always the first to the foodbowl at breakfast and dinner. He has developed a love of cheddar cheese, which he begs for if we have it out (only an occasional treat!) Paco also has a favorite furry blanket that he curls up in, sucks like a baby, and purrs... for hours! He loves it!
My little Paquito is a great little guy, and very well loved! I love coming home to snuggle him everyday!

Our boys are very good too.... very soft-pawed and let you pick them up whenever. They are even pretty good with getting their toenails cut, baths (well, except for Diego), and they are very healthy. and they LOVE each other! However, they are also VERY mischievous! Hello! Paco here! I can’t believe it’s been a YEAR since mamma and daddy adopted us! It really has flown by and I’ve grown so big! I still live on the 22nd floor of an apartment with my brother, Diego, and we love to look at the city views. Mamma and Daddy told us they were getting married and that we would soon be a “real” family, but I didn’t really care.
Life has been very good this past year. My brother and I still get along great, and we love our home. My favorite thing to do is spend time with Mamma in the morning in the bathroom when she’s getting ready. She says it takes her twice as long to get ready with me there, but she never kicks me out. I love laying in the sink, batting at and drinking the water from the tap, knocking mamma’s bottles off the counter with my paws, stealing hair and makeup brushes in my mouth and taking them into the bedroom to chew, and stealing Q-tips.
I’m a very social boy, and love to investigate anything and anyone that comes to visit. I’m not a huge fan of cuddling (though I put up with it for a minute or two to make Mamma and daddy happy), but I’m always within a few feet of any human in the room. I also let anyone pick me up and never run away. Just recently the cable guy came to visit and Mamma locked me in a room! Not nice! She said I was being TOO friendly by putting my nose in his workbags, getting up close to the outlets he was trying to work on, and chasing the cables he was dragging around on the floor. I was just trying to be a pleasant host!
My other favorite thing is when Mamma and Daddy take me and Diego to see my grandparents in Delaware. It’s nice to get out of the city sometimes and breathe some fresh air! I don’t always like the car rides and sometimes pant because I’m anxious, but I’m usually okay, and Diego cuddles me to help me feel better. Grandma and Grandpa have a fenced in back yard full of flowers, bushes, and birds. I LOVE it when Mamma takes me outside with her! Chasing cicadas is especially fun, but once I caught a bumble bee in my paws and it stung me! Ouch! I could sit out in the sun and explore all day long!!! When I’m not outside I sit by the door and cry until someone takes me out, or sit by the window and look for all the birds I want to chase. Mamma says I have a squeaky baby cry, which makes me hard to say no to. Sometimes Diego comes out too, but he’s not as excited about it as I am.
Grandma and Grandpa love me too, but they don’t let me get away with some of the things I get away with at home, like sitting on counters. They have had lots of Siamese and say I need “Siamese kitten boot camp.” Grandpa calls me “Apacolypse” because I can be destructive and knock some things down. They also have a dog, “Cousin Zach” who I get along with great. Although I do swat him on the nose sometimes when he sniffs me too much. Can you say RUDE?
Mamma and Daddy recently took us to the vet for our 1 year check-up. The vet said I looked great and very healthy! Several technicians came out after we were seen and said they heard how beautiful Diego and I were and wanted to see us! I have to admit that we are quite handsome (at least that’s what Mamma and Daddy tell me!). They gave us some flea medicine and said I should take it since I like to go outside at Grandma and Grandpas. She also told us we should eat more wet food and less dry food. It took 2 weeks for Mamma and Daddy to figure out which brands and flavors we liked!
So, all in all I would have to say that I am a very happy and spoiled boy! Okay, time to get back to playing with my toys (I am an excellent jumper!) and scratching my scratching post!
