We adore our baby Wink and he has blended into our household beautifully. He and our cat Cleo have (after a bit of a rough start) become best friends and they play together endlessly. Wink is a delightful kitty, loving, playful, smart and fairly well behaved. The only problem is that he has a chronic cold which he can't seem to shake. He has had a bout of roundworm, but that's all cleared up now. He goes to the vet again this week for a shot and a followup for his cold.
We send thanks to all at the Rescue Center for making our adoption of Wink possible. You are the BEST!

Asa is adorable!! He's very playful and getting used to the grandkids.He sleeps in the chair next to me or at the bottom of the bed. He still isn't one to be held and although he's improving with that,may never be that big cuddler.He is quite affectionate in other ways. He may need a sibling or two after Christmas! Promise to send pics of my boy soon.

Hi Everyone....I asked Mom to let you know that I am Very Happy now that I have settled in at my FOREVER HOME....YAY!!! I tried several times to send my own update but Dad uses the dreaded NO word when I try to use the computer. We worked it out though, I sit on Dad's lap and make biscuits while he types = ) I make LOTS of biscuits for Mom & Dad and I purr most of the time when they talk to me and always when they love on me...that seems to make them very happy!
I am beginning to let my hair down now and love to play with my little mice and my feather teaser. I have a tall cat tree just for me in front of a window so that I can survey my kingdom :)
I am learning to use my scratchers instead of Mom's chair cause she knows that NO word too...sigh.
Mom says I am a very good boy when I get my nails trimmed (puffs up with pride).
Mom and Dad tell me that being brushed is for my own good and that in time I will even like it. I have my doubts but I do feel a little more relaxed each time they brush me and the attention is always nice....so we will see.
I heard Dad make an appointment at one of those Vet places so I may be the one using the NO word on Friday!!
Thank you everyone at Rescue for helping to get me where I belong!!!

We are happy to report Zydeco is still doing great! He is such a big cat now....He is a big part of our family! He is still playful and loving, but likes to get into break into the pantry and help himself to his food! Loves watching the birds and squirrels from the patio!

Hi - my name is Snickers and I am one of the :Candy Girls". Yes, we are all as sweet as we can be. I'm the darkest one of the three. Our mama was a beautiful seal point Siamese, but we don't know who our daddy cat was. We were born outdoor and lived there with our mama for about 5 weeks. Then we were taken to the shelter where a very nice lady took us to her home to foster us for a couple weeks until we could get into rescue. Now we are safe, happy and very well socialized kittens. I am the easy going, laid back one n the litter - I move more slowly and take everything as it comes. I'm also the littlest one in the litter - but don't call me a runt - I am NOT a runt. I am as busy as my two sisters, just a little smaller. IWe won't be ready to go home for a while, but you can ask now. We would like to have short trips home, so please ask only if you are in our transport area. If ;you are interested in any of us "candy girls", be sure to hit that :Ask about me" button. SEMMY
Semmy's my name. I just arrived and am resting up after my travels. I've already had my bath and foster mom knows I'm a calm, polite boy. She promises to write more and post pictures as soon as I've had time to rest up after my travels. I'm a good car traveler and slept most of the way to foster mom's house.
I've posed for a few new photos this evening. As you can see, I'm quite handsome! I'm a medium-sized classic seal point Siamese, not too round, not too "wedgie", but with big Siamese ears and almond-shaped blue eyes. Meom thinks I'm the perfect size for a boy cat: not too big and not too small, not too skinny and not too heavy. Just a great looking fellow, all in all. I was assured I'd get my screen test (video) opportunity soon, so keep your eye on me!
Meowmy says she has my number now: I'm a male Diva! She's never met a genuine male seal point diva, but I certainly behave like one. I want what I want, but on my terms. I'm slow to warm up, but then I just love to talk and get pets. I want to run the household and am very demanding when it comes to having meals served on time and not being denied access or egress (member of the Siamese No Closed Doors Club). I have potential to be a door dasher so meowmy is working on helping me understand that "NO!" means I'm not allowed to bolt past her when the foster room door opens.

MISS COMMODORE (DOREE)
Bet you know why I have the name Blue Beauty??? Foster Mom saw me and said , "oh, ny what a beauty" AND, I was BLUE - not Black. No, I'm not a horse either, but just a stunningly beautiful blue girl. I am very sweet, loving, outgoing, love other cats, dogs and people, too. I love to sit in laps and be petted and attended to. See my video and you'll see how MUCH I love laps. I'm sharing a foster room with Buddy and we are quite a pair. He really "adores" me, you should see him sitting by me and talking to me. I'm not so sure that I think he's tghe best cat every, but he is a good "buddy". He's handsome and I'm pretty, so we are pretty happy together. NEDSTERS
Hi my name is Nedsters and I am a big bundle of love. My foster mom had a hard time getting my picture because I kept trying to give it head butts. She said no one wanted a picture of my nose close up. What can I say, the camera looked like it needed lots of love. I want nothing more than to be loved on and will even leave some enticing food if I think you might want to pet me. I am very laid back and easy to get along with. Notes from Home
I was a little skeptical about my forever mummy at first. I spent most of our first night together hiding behind a curtain, and the second underneath the bed. I've come a long way since then! I'm full of energy and need to be entertained constantly - be that through play or cuddles; that is, when I'm not grooming myself. I love to curl up next to mummy when she's sitting on the couch, and have taken to jumping on the desk and sitting on top of her work when I feel as though she's neglecting me. I don't mind the dog too much any more, although I did take a few days to decide how I felt about him. I could tell he just wanted to play, but he was a little too enthusiastic - a bit lacking in class if you ask me. We get along fine now, so long as he doesn't try to stick his head in my dinner bowl. We chase each other around the apartment, and have been known to cuddle up to one another on the odd occasion - but really, it is very much colder up here than I'm used to.
I'm eating well (perhaps a little bit too well - mummy's had to put me on rations) and mostly being a good boy, but I haven't quite gotten the hang of doing my business in the human toilet yet. I'm a smart kid, so I'll get it soon.
