Won't be able to go home just yet as I'm so tiny and will need to have a young playmate that I can run around with.

Foster Meow calls me her Chocolate Puddin! Wonder why?!?!

Notes from Home
I"m a happy, cuddly, playing purr machine. I get along with my new friends, Dizzy, Zettie, and Mazzy, here at my forever home, too. They are swell and so is Mom. She got me a new toy that shines a red dot on the ground. Wow, that thing is fantastic. I could chase it forever. I love my food. I love my water. I love my litter box (as long as there is a lot of litter in it; otherwise I squeak until it is clean and the litter is deep, just like my foster Mom said I would) I squeak a lot. I always did, so there. I especially like to squeak when it''s feeding time. And I love cuddling next to Mom's side, against her leg or her hip. That's my favorite and that's when I give her my "I love you look" and all is well with the world.

Six months later and I'm still a happy little boy. I love everything, especially my food! I've gotten a little bit rotund lately, but Mom says it's just "baby fat" and I'll grow out of it. I love to purr and cuddle with Mom on the bed or the couch. I LOVE my buddy Dizzy. He's the best. He cleans my head and my ears and he plays with me a lot. I like to rub up against him. Besides the laser toy, I love to play with Da Bird and doors. Doors are fascinating. You can push them with your paws and they close! That spooks everyone because they think there has been an intruder, but it's just me =^--^=

I've been here a whole year! Just check out my video and you tell me if I'm a happy boy =^--^= http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N0Rb6qjRaXM Listen to me purr.

CALYPSO
UPDATE - Photo shoot of me today with the new and much imporved face and attitude. I am now happy and healthy and want you to know that I am ready for my forever home. I am a BEAUTY and I love people. Purrs and Headbutts, Calypso

Update - ALL well and feeling ever so much better. I am such a happy and very sweet girl. It was a little hard ot show all that to my foster mama when I was so sick, but I am a NEW WOMAN now. More pictures and a video coming very soon, so be watching for pictures of the "new and very improved me".
Purrs and lots of headbutts, Calypso

Please forgive my appearance. I told Mama Katie it wasn't nice to take pictures of a lady when she is sick. Would you want to have someone taking glamour shots of you when you have a horrible cold? Well, not me either, but I did let her take a few. You see, my family left me at the shelter so they could travel, but they forgot what that might do to me. I got really sick with a re4ally bad shelter cold and am still trying to get well. Mama Katie and I cuddle, she feeds me and gives me fluids every day, but right now, I'm really struggling. I promise I'll make it because Mama Katie told me that ther is another family who will really want me and will love me forever and ever. Please cross your whiskers for me and say a prayer if you'd like. I could use it. I am a BEAUTIFUL seal girl who is very gentle, sweet and loving, even when I don't feel good. I just need someone who promises to keep me forever and love me like I will love YOU. Be sure to ask about me. I'd love to know that someone will be there for me when I am feeling like myself again. Purrs and headbutts, Calypso.
Notes from Home
Home sweet home! I'm becoming more and more comfortable in my home every day. The other 2 cats are fun playmates. I have moments where I like to run through the house like a roadrunner, and I end up starting a playful game of chase. While I don't have problems with the other cats, I'm having to get used to the new noises around this house and neighborhood. I have started to greet my new owners in bed in the morning and love to receive massages. Sometimes I do jump up on my owner's lap for a short time while she is watching TV. All of the felines in this house love playing with the wand toys, so when the toys come out we are all right there, waiting our turn to catch the flying object. My owner still is trying to decide whether to change my name.

SUNSHINE
Look, everybody, look at how beautiful I am!! I just figured that the reason I haven't been adopted yet is because no one has really looked at my pretty face and fashionable ear tufts! I am a happy cat, just like my name implies and I love to play with my friend, King Henry. I like to be petted and scratched under the ckin. I've gotten a bit plump since living the "high life" but it's just more of me to love. Please ask about me - I'll be your beauty forever!

Notes from Home
I am safely at my new home and I made myself comfortable very quickly. The existing cat and I had a few words with each other when we were introduced but made peace within a week. Every so often I need to remind her that she is in my personal space, but overall she is an ok housemate. I was also introduced to Calypso, the other new resident, and I welcomed her without a problem. She is a bit skittish but is a fun playmate. I am first to the food bowls when I hear the new food being poured into them. I know that my owner is starting to watch my food intake closely though.
So far, I haven't become itchy again. My favorite place to relax during the day is on a ledge looking out a basement window at the back yard patio, where I can be eye to eye with the numerous chipmunks, rabbits, and squirrels outside. My owner is still trying to decide on a new name for me. I guess she needs to analyze my personality first.

DUGAN
From day one, my foster mom could see that I am definitely a lap cat. I love to be near you and would sit in your lap as long as you will let me. I have a short tail, which makes me unique, don't you think? I am very solid and muscular, but melt like a marshmallow when you pet me and let me flex my big feet in your lap. I get along very well with other cats, both male and female, and enjoy chasing them throughout the house. I have a very mellow disposition, eat well, and use a scratching post faithfully.

I would be very happy to be your only companion, or a buddy to another, non aggressive cat.
Notes from Home
Dugan has been in his forever home for a week now. He is doing really well. He is a super loving, happy little guy. He has been busy this week exploring the house. He loves all the big windows and running up and down the steps. He also loves snuggling with Mom. He has started playing with his toys in the last couple of days.

I would like to thank all the volunteers, and especially Sandra, for sharing this sweet little guy with me. We're looking forward to many happy years!

Julie

What happened? I was the prince of this castle! Mom even started calling me Prince Dugan. Then another cat came to live with us. Mom says she is my new sister. I'm learning to share and play with her. I love when we play chase! She lets me groom her a little. I think I would like to snuggle up with her, but she's not ready for that yet. I still love to snuggle with mom. I'm happy to have someone to run and play with and I am enjoying my forever home!

8/21/11 I am the luckiest boy in the world! I have been in my forever home for a year. I love it here. I love to snuggle with my mom and have tummy rubs. I love to play with Natalie and groom her. My two foster moms love me, too, so mom tries to keep them updated on my life. Mom says I'm a star at the vet. She calls to check on me, too. Mom says everyone loves me. I know I'm handsome--I like to look at myself in the mirror. I'm just a happy boy and I love my new life.

NATALIE
Hey, Bai-Ling here. Do you need a strippeddy lynx love bug in your life? One that loves to play, too? One that gets along great with other cats? One that will keep you company and grace your home and family with beauty? Well, then check me out! I'm a sleek sweetheart who is petite and affectionate and a little bit talkative with my soft, high meows. I can rough and tumble with the boys or I can hang out by your side and purr your worries away. Look into these eyes and say "yes!"

Update 7/21: Guess what? Instead of 4, the vet thinks I'm more like 2! Since I can't read a calendar, we'll have to believe him. My skills lie in snuggling and playing!

Notes from Home
Bai-Ling's new name is Natalie. She has been home for 2 weeks and is doing very well. Her eyes are clearing up nicely. She is a super sweet, affectionate, playful girl. She loves to play with her toys, sleep in bed with mom, and perch on the cat tree. She is getting to know her new brother, Dugan (stay tuned on that one!). She is so sweet and loving. I am enjoying her so much!

I am doing well in my new home. I love to play with my toys, and a few things that aren't my toys! Mom doesn't seem to mind too much when I help myself to hair accessories, towels, and socks. I love to carry soft things in my mouth. I take them everywhere I go, even to bed at night. I like playing with my new brother, but I'm still a bit bossy when it comes to sharing. I love to follow mom everywhere and see what she is doing! I'm such a good girl sleeping with Mom at night. I am quite the acrobat and Mom laughs a lot when I play. I nap in the sun every afternoon. Life just doesn't get any better!

8/21/11 I have been in my forever home for a year. I'm so happy I came to live here with Mom and Dugan! I love to run and play with Dugan. He loves me and treats me like the princess I am! I still love my toys. I talk to them and take them everywhere with me. I have learned to share my toys. Mom's sister came to visit and I stole her heart right away. We had a great time! I still love to snuggle with Mom at night, and Dugan and I sleep together sometimes. I'm happy to be home.

SIPPY
NEW PICTURES! NEW VIDEOS!
Just arrived and I am one happy kitten! Plenty of toys, food, and places to play. What's not to like? Sister Missy and I were rescued twice! The first was with our mom as the Mississippi River flood waters began to rise to our home! That was a scary time. I can't even swim!
A nice shelter person made sure we remained safe until we were old enough to leave mom and come to Siamese Rescue. Now we are learning how to be companion kitties. We are smart and sweet and brave and happy and will be ready to come home in no time.

I caught a cold in my eye in the shelter but it is on the mend really fast even though I am still squinting a little bit in my pictures. It'll be fine by the time I get home to you! Watch me and my sis play in my new videos - we are cute cute cute!

GIUSEPPE
I'm the littlest brother of the bunch, but foster mom decided I looked too much like one of my brothers and so the weird red spot on my head. So she could tell us apart. Not very smart is she. After all I am the cutest one of the lot of us.

The two motor around like each day is their last. Sooooo much energy. And, they love the stairs.
Tehy are both very sweet and love to be held. We really like it when one boy will "nudge" one of our legs, asking to be picked up and loved.
And, the purring. Strong.
Two very sweet, mischievous boys!

Thank you.

I am one busy guy. I have my brothers here with me to play with and lots of toys. And I am a cute little guy too. So if you want to know me about me, you better start asking, cause I won't hang out for long.

IGLOO
Greetings snowshoe lovers and Meezer lovers, too, we don't discriminate here at Hotel delShue. I am finally ready to introduce myself. I was very scared at the shelter and pretty scared here at this kitty hotel when I first got here, but boy, oh boy, amd I a changed kitty. Mama Katie told me that she loved me and was very patient with me while I got settled in. Now you should see me - I ask very politely (with a Meezer Meow of course) to be picked up and to cuddle, cuddle, cuddle and get and give face kisses. I am such a snuggle bunny that you could hold me all day and I wouldn't care. New things are still a little scary to me, but I am adjusting SO well and am now SO happy. I went to the shelter with my sister when our people gave us up, but she was too mixed for rescue. I think I'd like to have another kitty sibling or two to spend the rest of my life with. I am such a good boy and so sweet - please be sure to "ask about me". Purrs, headbutts and face kisses - Igloo

P.S. Mama Katie promises to get some new pictures of me and a video, too.

Notes from Home
8/17/2011: Sorry we have been out of touch until now, we have been rather distracted by our super cute kitty. :-) Within the first night Igloo was venturing out from under the bed where he felt safest and grooming himself in front of us. By day two he was so adventurous as to climb onto the bed and invite snuggling. By day four he had already begun energetically playing and loved to climb up and down his cat tree. Yesterday we began to introduce him to the rest of the apartment and today he is brave enough to venture out there on his own as well as when I was out there. As you can see in the attached picture, he is completely comfortable sleeping in the most ridiculous positions right next to me on the bed. He is a very loving and affectionate kitty and is doing extremely well.

GENEVIEVE
(NEW VIDEO 1/23/11)

Looking for a soul mate type kitty? Someone soft to the touch, soft to the heart, soft to the soul? That's what I'm looking for. I'm quite Siamese, but minus the 'cattitude' that some females can have. I'm very people oriented; while I could put up with another cat if I must, I truly prefer people. I'm intelligent but not naughty, and have impeccable habits. I'm reserved at first but desperately hoping you'll be the one to ask me to dance.

No new pictures yet
Notes from Home
Genevieve is now named Tuhka (Two-ka). She already knows this is her name, and comes when called! She is a super spunky and energetic cat, and loves running around the apartment! She is also very sweet and cuddly, and loves to be in a lap or snuggling by a face. She's extreeemely well behaved, and the only bad thing she ever does is occasionally claw the furniture, but she knows what "no" means, and will stop promptly when asked. We are so happy that we got her, and we love her a ton!!
