FIONA
Hi my name is Fiona, and I am a diva-ette.
Isn't it amazing that I am so little and that just comes shining thru! I love me, maybe it is because I have the beginning of unique markings just like a tiny pinto pony- how great is that? I will only grow more beautiful with time.

Maybe it is because I am the oldest, or outgoing, or whatever. But I am a rare stunning beauty, if I do say so myself. The jewel of the kitten pool.
I purr, I play, race around, eat with gusto and am growing like a - well - a flower!

Foster mom says I am conceited whatever that means. If that is a good thing, then that's me! I want a brother who will be happy to do my bidding.
I need a family who knows how to handle a princess in the making.

Fiona, yes I am the greatest. I really am!

Notes from Home
Fiona has been with me for 5 years now. It's hard to believe!!! She is a BEAUTIFUL cat. She gets her physical in the spring around her birthday. This year her vet, Dr. John Perdrizet, thought she was a little overweight so he prescribed some special food for her and her sister, Sadie.
I am bringing them back to the vet in late July to see if they've lost weight. It's pretty clear to me that they have, and they look great.
I also bought them a climbing tree. It is so big that I had to get rid of one of my recliners, so now my office/reading room/ library is an office/cat tree room/library.
It's hard to get pictures of cats, but I'll try and take some and send them on.
Karen

KERBIE
I'm PURRFECT!!!! I am SO loving I got adopted by a wonderful family with a small dog and an 8 year old boy and they ADORED me! I adjusted quickly, ate, drank, used the litterbox, loved on everyone in the family, followed Meowm around, chirped and played, could not ask for more. Except for poor Dad! He had never had a cat and was highly allergic to me! Oh NO! Very sadly for all involved, I'm back in Rescue after just five days in my new home. The good news is, however, that we know I adjust quickly, I have excellent habits, and I'm just a wonderful feline family member! (I do need to be the only feline, however!)
Notes from Home
July 4, 2012--Kerbie is our beautiful tortie point who is loving, sweet (and sassy with Gilligan). She is a lap kitty and loves to snuggle in all ways all day! We adore her and shower her with all the love and attention she deserves.

Do I remind you of a kitty you loved very much?

Notes from Home
Mei came home yesterday afternoon after a very long ride--she explored the upstairs of the house, ate and drank a little, went into the litter box, is very interested in all of the caregivers of my daughter but not so happy with the noise in my house. Spending a lot of time under the bed so far.
I am leaving her alone, laying on the floor next to her when possible to reassure her. I don't think she is liking the loudness and hyperactivity around my medically complex daughter.
Mei has the whole upstairs master suite to herself but so far she is only coming out from under the bed once in a while. Right now I am home alone but she is still under the bed. I love her totally but I don't think she is happy right now.

7/2/12 Mei seems much more comfortable, walking around the house, sitting with my daughter on the couch, sleeping on my bed while I was at work, and waiting for me in the family room window when I got home from work this morning. She still goes upstairs under the bed when she has had enough of being downstairs--disappears for a while to sleep, I think. She is overall very affectionate to me but still getting her bearings. Even my mother, who is NOT an animal person, commented "What a cute cat".
She has longer and longer time frames of comfort with the household, then she has enough and goes back upstairs for a bit. Overall, in just a short time, she is doing great--and really a lovely little affectionate playful cat.

KAI
I'm a nice cat, with a few simple needs...

- A family that will allow me a little time to get comfortable.

- A good feline friend. (If you don't have a cat check out my buddy Tetsu VA8019)

- A laser toy is a must (see my video). I can't resist those things!

- An occasional taste of whatever you're eating would be nice, but that's not a deal breaker if you don't like to share.

So, what do you think? I'm not asking too much, am I? If you think we sound compatible, email me and we'll chat.

Purrs,
Rodin

Notes from Home
Our new baby has been home for a month now and we adore him! He is so sweet. He was a bit shy at first, but now he follows me around, jumps on the bed at night and plays gleefully with his toys. He rolls on his back and purrs loudly begging for ear massages and chin rubs if you even look at him. Yes, he has us trained! We introduced him to his kitty brother and sister very slowly and carefully. He thinks the other 2 kitties are interesting but he still doesn't get very close to them yet. If they walk towards him, he will usually back up or run for the windowsill or his kitty bed under the table in the corner for cover. We are hoping some day they will be buddies. He loves to eat and will wake us up if his breakfast seems a bit late. He likes the cat tree and is starting to be braver about moving around on it. He is happy and healthy kitty and loves to sit in front of the french doors and watch the birdies outside. We added "Kai" to his name because it means "ocean" in Hawaiian and he has the most beautiful ocean blue eyes we have ever seen. We love him! Thank you to everyone who has helped a kitty baby find his loving home!
Rodin Kai has been home for 6 months now and it seems like he has been here for years! He is now pals with his kitty brother and sister, which is a dream come true for us! He is a very happy, sweet, purry, round, cuddle bunny!! He loves the cat trees, screened porch and kitty comb massages. He rolls over on his back with paws in the air and purrs and purrs. He often sleeps on our bed and usually follows his sister kitty "Miss Piggy" around the house. Thank you to everyone!!

JAZZ
Just got here and they offered me a banana! What do they think I am, a monkey???? Young and healthy gal who is pretty well adjusted despite an unknown previous trauma that left me blind in my left eye. Doesn't bother me though, I explore quickly, am easy going, no concerns so far! I'm checking out the other guys here to see if one of them might like to pal around with me, so we know if I'm guy friendly or not. I'll let you know who I have my eye on (pun intended!)

Checking in after the 6 month update email. Everything is going well with Jazz. She has adjusted to life here with me and is doing really great! She is very playful and loves to chase her balls and mice around the house. She does pretty well with strangers when I have company and is certainly an attention lover when it's just me in the house! I'm really glad to have worked with everyone at the Siamese Rescue Center because she is just such a little ball of fun!

SYLVIE FKA SYLVIA
I am finally out of iso so get "room privileges". My broken leg has healed wonderfully and I now walk with a barely noticeable limp. I can jump up on stuff just like a normal kitty. Foster mom thinks the limp will probably disappear completely in time. I am very loveable and a great lap kitty. I am a teeny bit shy at first with strangers but warm up quickly. I am a pettie girl at just under 7 lbs.
Give me (foster mom) an email to check me out. Sylvie
Notes from Home
I wanted to write to you to wish you a happy holiday season, and to let you know how Sylvie is doing.
Sylvie is a delightful cat to be around, for me and my guests. Even my boyfriend who isn’t too fond of pets has found games that both and she enjoy. The latest is a game where she will defend the throwing of balls of socks into the entrances of her cat tree. She doesn’t even seem to mind if you accidentally bean her with one. I can’t imagine any of the cats I had growing up playing this game – they’d all run and hide if you started throwing socks at them. She will run up to her goalie position if you begin throwing socks before she’s ready. Her favorite toy of all is a cat fishing pole with leather tassels on the end. She likes chewing on those, and really enjoys running around at top speed chasing them.

We’ve gotten over the yowling to come into the bedroom. Her favorite places to sleep are on top of the ironing board, on top of her cat tree, and in the bed next to me on the other pillow (where she always creates a nice nest of crème colored fur). She rejects all efforts to provide her with more comfortable cat beds, and when sleeping on the floor she prefers small boxes and paper bags.

She must always know where I am, and if I’m out of sight she will run to find me. She follows me around the house dutifully like a little puppy, and will respond if you meow at her and she’s in the right mood.
I’d really like to leash train her, as I think she might enjoy a tethered walk outside in my parents’ yard (they have a large piece of property that is not near a busy road). She’s very curious and perhaps a supervised visit outside might satisfy some of her boredom.

Enclosed are pictures of her helping me study (she loves to sit on whatever I’m reading, or getting right in front of the computer monitor and chasing the mouse on the screen. Pay attention to me!) and one of her enjoying the sun.

I hope your new year is off to a good start, and thank you again for providing me with such a delightful companion.

Sincerely,
Alicia

----------------------------------
I cannot believe Sylvie’s only been with me for three years! It seems like we’ve been friends forever. She continues to be a delight in my life, and with friends, family, and even service people who come into my home. She has no problem whatsoever going right up to them, sitting on any receipts I have to sign, and begging them to pet her. I’ve never seen a cat act so friendly toward strangers! She will happily come out around larger groups of people in my home, and sit upon either the friendliest or most cat-averse lap, much to the delight or horror of the guest depending on which category they fall into.

She continues to prefer to be around me wherever I am in my home, and seems to recognize when I’m leaving for work so she can give me a “hug” before I go (she finds a high place, stands up on her hind legs, and places her front paws on my shoulder) or run away and watch me from behind a cracked door. She prefers high places, definitely a tree dweller. I’ve taken her out on a leash on my parents’ property, and she seemed to enjoy following me around outside in the grass and being carried around by my brother. She napped for the rest of the day after our walk though.

I’ve had her DNA tested, and she did not test positive for any diseases tested for.

My only quibble with her is that I do not wish to be woken up at 5-6am on weekends for petting. But I realize that this behavior is not likely something that will change, so she wins.

Sincerely,
Alicia

KAI
Hi there! I'm Kai, and I just arrived with my sister Mei. We were so scared in the shelter that we couldn't walk because our legs were trembling so bad. Boy are we glad to be in a warm, safe place where we don't have to be afraid anymore! Foster mommy says that we're very special little meezers, and that we might even be Tonkinese! Our points are very dark, with and the rest of our bodies are going to be a dark creamy color. Our eyes are the palest bluish aquamarine.

All we have in the world is each other and foster mommy promises that we can stay together. If you're looking for the perfect pair, please ask about both of us at the same time!

Hi there! I'm Mei, and I just arrived with my brother Kai. We were so scared in the shelter that we couldn't walk because our legs were trembling so bad. I;'m a little bit smaller than Kai, and I really depend on him for comfort, even though we're finally in a warm, safe place. Foster mommy says that we're very special little meezers, and that we might even be Tonkinese! Our points are very dark, with and the rest of our bodies are going to be a dark creamy color. Notes from Home
Koko is adorable - she is about 10 lbs but compared to her big borther Kai, she seems little. She is very affectionate with Bob and I but not wild about anyone else when they come to visit. She is very playful and FAST!!

Tingkun (yes we kept the name) one year in seems very happy and settled. A little less talkative and more chilled than when he first came to live with us - yet will still make his presence felt with the odd big meows or dumping his toy on your lap because he wants to play fetch. He has had a good life over the past year, lots of company, lots of love, good health. Everybody who visits falls in love with him and makes a huge fuss, and he does the same back with them. I feel very connected with him, and could not have found a better companion. He is always around us - following, examining, clowning around. Just tremendous in every way. I will upload some current pictures soon.

ZOE
Hi! I'm Persia. Meowmy said that I'm a perfect, healthy, well socialized little lady and want to go home with my brother, Beeja. If you ask about me, ask about him, too so we can stay together. We play, eat and sleep together, and have been since we were born. We've had a great start in life and meowmy thinks we're perfect! We even started out with a dog, so we like them, too!

Purrs,
Persia
Notes from Home
Just want to let you know that Zoe is doing great. She is growing and gaining weight. She has really adjusted to her forever home and to both my husband and myself. She is due to go to the Vet the first week of August to get weighed for the heart worm and flea application. She and her brother Micah were just at the border line for the stronger application, therefore, we just bought one and applied it. Their appetites are very good and they play and nap well. Most of the time they are little angels. They have learned the rules and for the most part abide by them. They love to go on the dining room table to destroy my flower arrangement, which is a no no. They seem to understand the meaning of the word no. I think they also know their new names and if I say Micah NO, he will listen. Micah is the more outgoing one of the two; however, Zoe is coming around. We would be lost without them. Of course they are spoiled, but they deserve all the love and affection we pour on them. I have at least one or more new pictures which I will include. I have noticed you have the spelling of Zoe wrong, could you please correct it.

June 25, 2012
Zoe had her yearly checkup and is doing very well. She weights 12 pounds and is a complete angel. She loves to sit on the deck and watch the birds and squirrels and other animals that wander by. Her appetite is quite good. She is also fed Nutra Natural cat food which has 40% protein in it. She received all of her shots and we apply their Advantage once a month. She loves her brother Mica and looks after him like a little mother. Her fur is longer then her brother's and requires more brushing. She is so precious and follows me around everywhere. We are grateful to have found them both.
