LEXI
Wow! For the first time in weeks I can relax! You see, I've been raising kittens and now they're finally big enough to live without me! Oh, they're still here in the building with me, but we now have our own accomadations.
Now I'll be looking for a real home of my own. I haven't told Meowmy too much yet, but I did let her know how grateful I am by purring and head butting her.
Are you looking for a nice girl like me? I hope so, cause I've had enough of living on my own. Ask about me and maybe I can come to live with you for the next 20 years or so.
Purrs,
Alexia
PS: Meowmy apoligizes for my video cutting off in the middle. She said her camera's memory stick was full.

Notes from Home
I went for my “wellness†examination today, September 24, 2012 at Kings Mountain Animal Clinic. The attending doctor was Katrina Waisanen. She said I looked great. I have gained nearly a pound weighing in at 7.4 lbs. My meowy doesn’t know how --- she says I run around like lightening! (I do sound like a basketball player’s tennis shoes skidding on the shiny kitchen floor trying to stop). The doctor said my teeth are excellent. She also clipped my nails. The doctor said I didn’t need the FeLV vaccine. She also dewormed me. To make my poppa happy I stayed calm during the examination until the nail clipping started. Poppa held me for the nice doctor so she wouldn’t clip them too short.
On the home front report: Lexi seems to really love her new home. And we have fallen in love with her. She follows my husband around like a dog, and tends to bite him like a dog too. lol. Her actions with me are completely different. She sleeps with me (most of the time) at night. She hasn’t attempted to bite me or scratch me so far. All I have to do to correct her, is say NO!... in a loud voice, and she takes off out of my room or lays down and goes to sleep. My husband keeps her treat bag on my nightstand and I give her a few of the treats-- before I eat breakfast every morning. We had to switch from catnip treats to another flavor-- as she was going wild. lol. Lexi is using her pet doors like a pro (from day two) going down in our basement to use her litter box. When she is finished she comes back upstairs. My husband goes downstairs to clean up her litter box and check her stool to be sure it is normal.
Everyone in our family, adores her, and she seems to interact very well with them. Although at times she is a little aggressive with my husband ( I think she has adopted him as her play toy)--she is the most loving cat, I have ever seen. As Jeanne said she’s a head butter and she does talk a lot (in kitty language) that is. lol We are very satisfied with her, and are very happy, we picked her out to adopt her.
Lexi, says “Hi!â€
Lexi’s meowmy mom and Paw Paw dad say “Hi†too.
All my purrs,
“Lexiâ€

Hi!...it's me Lexi. I just want to tell everyone at the Siamese Rescue Center (especially, Jeanne my nice foster Meowmie)--I'm really enjoying my new home in Fieldale, VA--with Meowmie and Paw Paw G. Meowmie tells me that I think I'm a "Flying Squirrel"--because, I fly through the house about a 100 miles a second! Meowmie says she expects me to start talking like a parrot before long.
I really like to attack Paw Paw's ankles and bite on him. He tells me to stop in a kinda gruff voice, but I just run off and jump on the bed to head-butt and cuddle with Meowmie. I don't bite her-- cause she's my favorite cuddling buddy. Paw Paw looks so cute marching down the hallway looking like a majorette, with me chomping away at his heels.
Every morning, I get several treats, and then I lay in the sunshine on the enclosed patio floor. I also love lying in the sunshine in the roomy Bay Window. I now weigh 7 lbs. 9 ozs. I am up-to-date with my shots, and check-up. Meowmie's daughter clips my nails about once a month.
Well, I hope all of you guys and gals are adopted soon-- by "special"cat lovers like my owners.
Love and purrs,
"Lexi"

Hi!...it’s me Lexi Sue. Yeah, Meowmie added "Sue" to my name to rhyme with "I love you." As you can see in my picture I’m living the "Life of Riley." Notice how smooth and beautiful and soft my fur is. Meowmie says my fur looks like a cloud.
Well, I went for my annual check-up and to get my shots updated. I saw this large picture of a cat in the examining room and I started to hiss and growl, so I already had my feathers...uh, my fur ruffled, before the vet came in the room. When he put his hand on the back of my neck...well, I went ballistic! Even Paw Paw took a few steps backwards! And would you believe, his assistant had the nerve, to throw a heavy big towel over my whole body? It was lights out time for me! The vet pulled the towel up enough to give me my two shots. Never was I so glad to get into my carrying case! Paw Paw told Meowmie about the scene, I had caused...when we got back home. He said I sounded like something wild, right out of the jungle! I just had to show them who was boss!
I now weigh: 8 lbs.6 oz. The vet wrote on my progress report, that I look great, and to keep up the good work!
I hope all of you guys and gals find a home like mine. Paw Paw buys me the expensive cat food and snacks. I pretty much ruled the roost...uh, the house. I still nip at Paw Paw’s ankles when I want his attention. And I still cuddle (sometimes) in Meowmies arms at night. I love to lie on the pillow, that props up her laptop. All she has to say when I jump on the bed is: "turn around." I know what she means, because I turn around on the pillow, and go to sleep. And when I hear her getting her mirror, no matter where I am, I hear the noise her make-up tin makes and here I come to chase the mirror image on the wall. It reminds me of my red light laser. I still chase that image too. It’s a lot of fun, and also a bit frustrating, when I can’t catch the images.
Well...until my next report on how I’m faring...purrs and kisses to all!
Lexi Sue...I love YOU!

CALLISTA
Sorry I'm still on eval status as I have just arrived at Foster Mummy's house and still unpacking my things and finding my way around.
I have told her that I am very shy at first until you pick me up then I purr. I know I will not be wanting to travel too far away to my forever home. She told me that we might be going to "Adopt Me" status this weekend so that I have a few days to settle in.
Now, where do I hang my purrrrrrse?!?

Notes from Home
I could not be happier with Callista. She is my non diva, snuggle bunny, companion and office helper! She will help clear my desk of papers and any pens and at times write highly encrypted emails!!!!
Callista has integrate extremely well with all my other household kitties and dog. She plays exceptionally well with her 1 year old Seal Point female sister. At dinner, if I don't serve her first, she is very, very vocal!! She has gone from a shy and reported feral rescue kitten to a confident lap cat that continuously purrs and will follow me around the house and especially to the kitchen! We are all so very, very happy. Thank you so much for allowing me to adopt my soul kitty.
WOW 4 years has gone by already! Callista is still my baby girl and continues to suckle on my neck each morning. She has become a great helper in the kitchen as she cleans up any "flying" chicken that lands on the floor. When we have snacks at the low table and I sit on the floor, she will stand on her back legs with her front paws on the table, then lean into me and keep doing that until she gets a little bit of food.
She is definitely my soul kitty and I think she knows it too. I am so lucky to have her in my life.

LOUISA
I'm cute, I'm cuddly, I'm cute, I'm playful, I'm cute and I purr, purr, purr....... what more could you want ?
If you want a ready made family, my brother Lafayette and I can go together but it's not necessary. However, the Kitten Policy does apply to I'll either need a furry companion or my purrson to be home all the time.

Notes from Home
Reese and I are best friends. I can't thank Siamese Rescue enough for providing me the opportunity to adopt Reese. He is a well-mannered, loving, playful, companionable guy and I can't think of a single thing I would change about him. He's perfect (at least to me). I think he is happy with the adoption as well. Again, thank you so much for providing me the opportunity to know him.
I'm not a picture taking person but I will try to take some photos of Reese with his favorite things over the next few days and upload them.
I hope all is well at Siamese Rescue.
Your friend and fan,
Sandy Litz

Susie is such an important part of our family. She is affectionate, sweet and loves to snuggle. She is still very nervous around the youngest member of the family, but has learned that he will not hurt her and tolerates his quick movements much better.
We are grateful for her!

Notes from Home
Just wanted to let everyone know that we took Mau to the vet on Friday although she was NOT happy being in the carrier (poor kitty!). She was diagnosed with an bad ear infection( in one ear) and an eye infection. The vet said it was a secondary infection from her first one and that it was normal. So she is on meds (for ear and eye) for 10 days and she is not very happy with me but I think she knows deep down inside that I am helping her so she is very humble. She hates me scruffing her and I hate it too but she has to get better, right? The good news is that she gained a pound! Yay! She is 7 lbs 6 oz. She is eating well and happily adjusting to us. Even to all the noise! The best part is that my home is QUIET because of her! My kids have so much respect for her! Thank you Mau! I will upload pictures once she is better. Thank you for this wonderful gift guys!
UPDATE: Mau is all better now! The cold is gone. No more sneezing, no more yucky eye gunk and no more ear infection!! I'm also more relaxed and loving since I feel better! Says MAU :)
Update: Miss Mau takes a walk everyday on her leash. She waits by the door every morning and happily wears a harness (strange). She used to roll over like a dog when her harness was first put on, but I guess she figured that that was her only psss to get out, so she begrudgingly complies. Well, she is not a cuddly lap cat like my kids were hoping, but they are learning that personal space and staring is rude. Thank you, Mau. You are quite a character. We love you.

Notes from Home
Hi! Just wanted to give an update on Daisy; she got through her vet check on this end with flying colors, and I picked up three months' worth of Frontline for her so that flea allergy issue never happens again. She is the SWEETEST cat, not a mean bone in her body (though she is, of course, a redheaded Siamese with the cattitude one would expect from that.) We thought at first that she doesn't purr, but it turns out she does, nearly inaudibly. Her favorite spot is on the bottom left corner of my bed, and anyone who wants their feet there is just outta luck. She'll bring me "presents", too -- currently it's stayed at her toy mice, and I've explained that I'm very grateful and glad she doesn't want me to starve, but I promise I can catch my own food.

WINSTON
UPDATE:
When I came into rescue, I was dirty and had a poor coat
Now I am as clean and neat and have a coat as soft as a bunny.
When I csem into rescue, I was very scared and hid part of the time.
Now I am a social boy and love to explore.
When I came into rescue, I didn't like to eat very well,
Now I remind Mama Katie and Daddy Vic when my dish is empth.
When I came into rescue, I didn't much like laps.
Now I can't get enough lap time in.
When I came into rescue, I didn't really want much attention,
Now I love to be petted and to get my share of the attention.
When I came into rescue, I didn't purr much,
Now I purr when you pet and hold me.
If you like snowshoes, you'll love my easy going, laid back personality. I'm all new and much improved and ready for a forever home. Please be sure to "ask about me". Purrs and headbutts, Peter
I'm finally over my shelter cold and starting to feel much better. Mama Katie did get some pictures of me, but she promises to get more and a video, too. If you like snowshoes laid back easy going personality, you will love me. I am enjoying having JR in my room - we are sharing our prime Hotel delShue space. We get to listen, watch and fantasize about all the birds, squirrels and chipmunks we can see out the windows. Today, I even heard a big woodpecker and got very excited. I talked and talked - I was trying to tell the hotel staff that I wanted to go out and catch that bird, but they said that my outdoor days are over and I should just imagine this big bird. I guess I'll just need to do that, but maybe "kitty tv" might have a bird show for me to watch that would satisfy my hunting desires. I got a bath when I came and I am now SO soft and my coat is coming back in for where I lost some fur when I was outside all the time. Mama Katie says I am getting to be "stunning". If you want a stunning, easy going, laid back, happy boy, you'd better ask about ME. Purrs and headbutts, Peter.

Notes from Home
6/18/12: Winston P. Kitty hid under the couch for the first two weeks only coming out while I was sleeping or away to eat and use the box. He would gradually make appearences and now he follows me room to room.
He now sleeps in my bed with or without me and gives very enthusiatic headbutts. His new favorite thing to headbutt is my boyfriends new puppy who he gets along with very well. He can be quite talkative and is very social when people come to visit. Even children have not made him nervous. His personality has blossomed over the past month and he is becoming the perfect cat.
11/15/12: I think Winston P. Kitty is finally accustomed to his new home. He continues to be very affectionate and his favorite thing to do is cuddle on the couch or the bed. His active time is right before bed when he tears around from the front of the house to the back pausing to scratch on his cardboard at the front door. During this time he loves to dig through his toy bucket searching for the perfect toy to bat around. I think next spring Winston may need a new kitten as he is very active and playful and has expressed interest in my friends puppy. But I think a kitten may be more our speed ;) The only "bad" habit he has is hiding under the bed when visitors come over but I feel with more time he will figure out visiting can be fun :)
10/2/13: Finally getting a chance to update Winston's profile after he has been with us for over one year!!!! There has been a lot of changes in the past year. In March we moved to a loft apartment to which he adjusted very well. He only hid under the bed for a couple of days unlike the 2 weeks when he first came home. He gets along with his energetic furry brother (Golden/Lab mix) Jameson who is now a year and a half. He does not know his own size so Winston retreats to his room when he has had enough. Our final change came in August with the addition of a baby boy. In typical cat fashion he has completely ignored the baby but I have no worries as he often lets my 5 and 2 year nieces pet him. Winston is a great addition to our family!
