12/2013 Jake has been here for 6 months and we can't imagine that we ever lived without him. He is just the right mix of very naughty and sweet as can be. Yes, he climbs the Christmas tree and yes, he opens the pantry and steals boxes of crackers but the snuggles and purrs are endless.
Jake is entering the terrible twos and getting into everything. He is rarely more than 2 feet from me, he gets along with everyone and is happy as can be. He gets lots of entertainment from the flies that have made their way into the house. There seems to be one a day but between him and Skippy they don't last long. He is starting to look less like a kitten and more lanky weighing in at almost 5 pounds! He is such a sweet pea. He couldn't be more perfect.

A total love bug, mush bucket, kissy faced nice guy - oh, that is with people :) I'm a little boisterous and pushy with the other cats, starting out fine but then becoming fairly jealous of attention. It's hard to believe it's been a year since a Hamlet and I became a family. In some ways, it seems like yesterday. In others, I can't remember a time he wasn't by my side. Hamlet's become my buddy, my sidekick, my confidante. Showing more dog tendencies than most cats would dare to admit (licking my face, playing fetch), Hamlet is certainly not shy. He greets every visitor immediately and requires each and every one to admire just how lovable he is by flopping onto his belly, usually right in their walking path or on their feet. We're the perfect match!

Hi all,
Just another update on the boys. They are doing great. We hosted Thanksgiving at our home for our families. I slowly acclimated then to the items on the dining room table, and no breakage! Yesterday, we got our Christmas tree. So far no real disasters. The boys still act like kittens, but are slowing down just a bit, finally! They generally sleep at night on the bed with Rich and I. First thing in the morning, I have to open the blinds in two of our bedrooms, as they love to see what is going on in the outside world. They are getting big! These will probably be the largest Siamese cats we've ever had. We love them to pieces and think they are very happy to in their new home. Sincerely, Janet and Rich

I am just like a prince! I am luxurious with a royal fluffy coat. I'm well tufted too. My feet have nice tufts of fur on them. I am a sexy prince too, with a bit of curly chest hair. : 0
My voice is quiet and I am confident and loving. I am a gentle guy.
I think I will like the other kitties here, but I don't get to meet them until my 'exile' is over. I am in private quarters, with meals en suite. Just right for a princely fellow like me. I'll be back to let you know how I get on with these 'princesses' outside my chamber door!

Alexander Romanov has been ruling the roost for the past year. He is pretty laid back except at 5:30 am when he wakes me up by nipping my arms or toes until I give him his Fancy Feast. Once he eats breakfast, he's happy for the rest of the day. Next morning it starts all over.
I am attaching a photo. He is on top of the kitchen cabinets with a prime view of the bird cage right below him. He just watches and the bird keeps chirping.

I'm known as Kumar (which means love in the Hindu language) because meowmy says that is what I am. I've been feeling pretty poorly from the dreaded shelter cold, but am on the mend now. Kumar's health issues are under control and he is a lively happy kitty. He loves our Pug Toni and rubs on her all the time to make sure she knows she is his pet.
He is an independent cat who doesn't like to be picked up but will come when called and will sit next to you.
He likes a feather toy fishing wand and lazer beam. He and the dog take turns chasing the lazer beam. It's very cute.
He and his adopted sister Miya get along with each other but more or less tolerate one another. If Kumar gets stepped on accidentally and lets out a yelp Miya attacks the dog.
Kumar had his teeth cleaned and had one tooth extracted. They did an ultrasound on his belly to see if he had any organ problems as his liver values are not very good. They were concerned that he might have a problem and did the ultrasound while he was under for the teeth cleaning. They didn't see anything but are continuing to monitor his blood work and pee.

Six month update: Peppers is doing fine. We were concerned about her ability to eat considering the teeth that were pulled. Then, the vet noted that she gained a pound between her last two appointments. So, now Peppers is on a diet. She doesn't appreciate it, either. Most of her days are spent watching birds, possums, raccoons, and deer in the back yard. Other activities include playing with her big brother, Buckley (formerly know as Nibbles), and sitting with my mom.
My mom has moderate Alheimers. Almost every evening I get a call from mom telling me that her kitties are starving and she doesn't know where the food is. Well, I hide the food because mom would feed them as much as they could eat. So, every night I have to explain that the kitties are on a diet. After weeks of this routine, I got a call from my sister telling me that mom called her to say that the kitties are starving and she doesn't know where the food is.
Life is good!
