Cute. Wispy. Interactive. Playful. and LOVE other cats (people too!) I'm an easy going, easy to slot in, friendly, silly goofy gal who currently is on a limited protein diet (but I love it, just like I love everything else) and would do well as the only cat (fine with kids and dogs) or with feline friends!

2018 update
Foxey's mom here --- She's doing really well. As sweet and beautiful as the day we got her. We sometimes refer to her as 'puddin' as she doesn't go far from our bedroom and doesn't have great muscle tone. But....she is super happy. I've had two children since Foxey joined us. We call Foxey "Mama kitty" as she slept by my head the entire time I was expecting and is so good with the girls. We love her so much. Thank you for connecting us. We are grateful. Hoping everyone is well at Siamese Rescue Center. Keep up your amazing mission.

------5-year update
Hi everyone! Thanks for the 5-year anniversary note. Wow. 5 years! I am a happy girl and Mom and Dad can't imagine life without me. They tell me I am the prettiest cat around and a heart to match. Still crazy about Dad. I love any / all time that I get to spend with him.

Love you all.
Foxey

-----1st update from home
Hi Siri and everyone at the Center!
~Gosh...I can't believe I've been at my home for over 2 years now! Time is flying.
I'm in love with my dad and every time mom gets out of bed, I run and jump in her spot next to dad. He's so wonderful. He needs to sit with me when I eat and needs to brush me every day. After all, I AM his little princess. I like to give kisses on the forehead while I'm getting a nice brushing.

I'm still on my all venison diet. I think that I've convinced mom not to try to give me anything else because I refuse to eat it!

Mom thinks I'm the prettiest (and sweetest) kitten in the world. She tells me that all the time. I like to hear it and purr a lot. Dad always tells Mom that she 'done good' finding me. We all are happy together.

Thanks for matching us together! We are definitely a match made in heaven.
Lick. Lick.
Foxey

Okay I admit it, I'm just one big old Mama's Boy!! I want nothing but to get in your lap, snuggle, hide my head, purr, and peek out from under your elbow. Yes, I'll graduate to being more outgoing but right now I'm a kid who probably left my Meowm too soon and needs a replacement! So far other cats and kids are cool, as long as they love on me! 2018 update
Hi everyone,
Can't believe I'm celebrating my 9th adoption anniversary. My family loves me so, so much. Been having some health issues (stage 4 kidney), so mom/dad are worried about me. We're all doing our best to stay on top of things and make the most of things. Hugs/Love, Keller.

---Keller is such an amazing boy. We are super grateful to have found him through you. Hoping we can extend his life as long as possible. We're all shocked by the situation as he has been a super healthy, strong cat and this came on suddenly. :( :(

2013 update
Hi all,
Having fun every day at home. Thanks for matching us all together. We are one happy family! Thought I'd share a few pictures. Folks tell me I am a social butterfly. I just like to sit with everyone when we have company. I love lasers and am in really good shape.
Enjoy your summer!
Keller

---First update
Hi everyone,
Just a note to say hello.
~I'm all settled in with my brother (Flemming) and sister (Foxey). Mom and Dad say I'm the silliest goose around. I like to gallop through the house like a horse...sometimes I run so fast that I forget to stop and slide into things! I'm really fast. Mom and Dad giggle when I do my double meow in the morning. They try to imitate me from time to time. All in all, I'm really happy and like to visit wth anyone who stops by to see me.

Hope all is well at my rescue home.
Much love,
Mr. Keller

YIN
I only go with my sister, Yang, so be sure and Ask about Her too! I am the brave one and she needs me to feel secure. We're good travelers as long as you're in our transport area, and we'll be ready to go home in March. We're getting to know foster mom and dad and will have some new pix in a few days.

MERLIN OISIN
What I don't have in teeth, I certainly make up for in affection and kindness.

I'm a petite lynx point boy with beautiful blue eyes and a soft coat. Wise and kind. Found wondering on the streets, very thin and in a terrible condition.

After some intense spa treatment, I'm getting back on track. Gaining weight, feeling confident and now looking for my forever home.

I get on well with other cats. Am learning to play with toys. Love my food and being near my human family.

Please ask about me if you are looking for a wonderful companion to be by your side.

MUMBAI
One of the five hoarder cats that came in, I'm getting my paws back under me, starting to explore, and generally feeling better about life!

No new pictures yet
Notes from Home
Mumbai is doing great! She is an affectionate, intelligent cat who is gaining confidence every day. Her progress has been very quick and I'm looking forward to getting her big brother to her.
9/21 - Mumbai continues to gain confidence. She is very playful and curious, in other words a normal young cat. I compressed the integration with Tonka into a shorter timeframe based on my observation of both. They are doing well. Not best buddies yet, but making progress.
9/29/14 Tonka and Mumbai had their first visit to the local Vet today. Both are in good health and maintaining their weight, although Tonka may have lost a little bit.
12/19/14 Mumbai has been here three months now and is quite a character. She never met a shoelace she didn't like and is pretty fond of socks too! She loves her pink mouse and often carrys it around when she's not knocking him under the furniture. I spend a fair amount of time on hands and knees with the flashlight searching for it. Mumbai also loves her big brother Tonka, they get along really well. She has come a long way, and I thank SCRC for rescuing her.
3/6/15 - wow, six months has flown by. Mumbai is a sweet girl and very playful. Most cats will "encourage" you to give food or treats, but she is the only cat I've ever had that does this for play. She doesn't lead me to her food dish, she leads me to her feather toy. She's affectionate and well behaved (well mostly 😄), and gets along nicely with her brother Tonka.
9/6/15 - today is Mumbai's one year anniversary. She had her annual vet visit Friday and is doing fine. She continues to be a very playful and affectionate cat. She has a squeaky little voice except when in the car of course, as her transporters know too well. I think she's happy here and I know I'm thankful she came.

9/6/16 - Mumbai is doing very well. She had her vet visit last week and the doctor recommended extraction of a couple teeth, so she will be going to the animal hospital tomorrow. Other than that, she is in good shape and sweet as ever.

9/8/17 - Mumbai is doing fine. Last year's update said she needed some teeth extracted, and they ended up removing all of them. I was concerned about her ability to eat her favorite dry food, but it didn't seem to affect her. After her recovery she was more playful and talkative than she'd been, so maybe the teeth had been bothering her.
9/8/18 - Mumbai is doing great, more talkative and affectionate than ever. We had a scare last year right after my update. She wasn’t feeling well, had a fever, and was diagnosed with some kind of infection. It was knocked out quickly with antibiotics but then she wasn’t eating. It took three days of force feeding her k/d prescription high calorie food with an eye dropper before her appetite kicked back in. She quickly regained the weight she had lost and has been fine since. She has also started giving head bumps, but not the teeth rattling kind that Tonka gives. Hers are more like gentle nudges.

OLIVER
I am just a little guy and will not be ready to go home for sometime now. I came into rescue with 2 other kittens and would love to have a play buddy in my new home. I am not feeling my best right now but hope to feel better soon. I enjoy playing when I feel good and love some pets when I am not playing.

Oliver is such a loving kitty. He has made himself at home from the moment he stepped out of the carrier. He is a wonderful addition to our home. Still has a sniffle....will talk to vet about that at his visit coming up. Hasn’t slowed him down as far as eating or playing!

3/19/18 Oliver went for his first visit to his new vet today! He’s doing great and weighed in at 3.56 pounds. Still a runny nose and eyes so we decided to put him on an antibiotic and eye drops......hopefully will do the trick!

4/17/18 Oliver update! Oliver is growing like a weed.....weighed in today at 5.2 pounds! Pretty much over his sniffles except for a couple sneezes every now and then. Loves to play fetch! He’s one special kitty 😻

9/3/18 Oliver’s 6 month anniversary with us! He’s growing into a handsome guy....weighing about 9 pounds. He definitely rules the house 😻

MR BENSON
A stray who is currently a bit traumatized by my experiences, I've shown no aggression, just introversion at this time. Stay tuned as I work to settle in and warm up! Update: I am now settling in and becoming more and more confident every day. I'm a bit indifferent to other cats but could potentially vie for top cat if I needed to, so careful matching should be in place. Good in all my habits though I do love my food!

Notes from Home
Mr. Benson is a dream! He is totally at home. On the third night here, he started sleeping in our bed and does good deal of purring and kneading there. For the first few days, he would disappear for a little time to the hideout he had discovered in a closet. However, he rarely goes there now. He is ALWAYS wherever we are--follows us from room to room. Just seems to want to be near. Our grandchildren (ages 9 and 12) have visited and he is really good with them. Likes to play with them and seeks them out. He met the cats next door in our condo building but was not very interested--sniffed a bit and then pretty much ignored them. He likes looking outside but makes no attempt to try to go out. Not a lap cat but enjoys petting for a limited time. He does love his food. We feed him twice a day with a snack at bedtime. He is always ready early and lets us know he is hungry. I think he would eat more but we are going by vet guidelines for his weight. We love him! We wanted to get a second cat, but I think we won't because I think he prefers humans. Thanks to everyone for finding us such a love!

Notes from Home
Handsome Nieko is a delightful cat who follows me around, curls up next to me on the opened up sofa bed, loves to play with the long braided colorful felt toy on a stick, and with his toy mouse, and balls!
He is eager to get to know Bella. But he was kept separate for 7-8 days. When Bella was behind the closed bedroom door he would bound up the stairs and lie outside the door. Once I woke up to hear him give out a cry at the BR door at about 2 am and then the next night it happened at about 3 a.m.
Bella was not as enthused. She met him when I first brought him in the carrier--and hissed twice before I took Nieko into the LR. When I put Bella in her carrier to take her to the vet on the 9th for her annual check up, I let Nieko out of the LR and he went right up to the carrier, rubbing on it --his chin on the front grate. Bella hissed a few times. When we returned from the vet, I left Bella in the carrier for maybe 5 min. and the same happened.
I tried the metal gate at the living room door that Lisa Downing loaned me, but it was only effective for a day or two as Nieko could leap over it. With Nieko in the LR, I would open the door a crack and Nieko would extend his paws, but Bella would not come up to the door, but watched for 2 ft away.
Then (day 10) when Bella was in the upstairs BR, Nieko went up with me, I opened the door a crack and they both were extending paws, no hissing, and I opened it a little wider and they nuzzled, no hissing, but suddenly they were at each other and bounding down the stairs and shrieking. It looked like Nieko attacking and Bella trying to get away. I followed with a water bottle and a towel to break it up, but both found their way under a large desk and then Bella under an nearby chest of drawers with a cloth cover extending to the floor that she hid behind it. When he emerged I checked Nieko for wounds and then put him in the LR and closed the door and checked Bella when she emerged. Both were OK.
8/13/17 Nieko (Neeko) had his check up July 19th. He was fine, got his shots, needs to lose some weight. Dr. B. suggested I cut back on the dry diet (Royal Canin Urinary SO moderate calories prescribed for Bella). Nieko is delightful, loves to chase his furry mice, a ball, and leap at the cat dancer and other dangling toys.

I have kept Bella and Nieko separate most of the time. When Nieko falls asleep in the Living room, I shut the door and let Bella out of the upstairs BR, and vice versa. Since I am home a lot now (retired), they each get hours with me and the chance to wander in most of the rooms.

I witnessed 2 fights--with Nieko attacking Bella and my cat sitter witnessed 2 more. I am again trying Rescue Remedy drops in their food, and I am going to try hormone diffuser again for more hours than II've tried in the past--suggested by Dr. B.

If I put Bella briefly in her carrier, Nieko comes up, rubs his cheeks on the grill and wants to be friends, but Bella hisses and growls.
9/5/18
Handsome Nieko also had his annual physical and rabies shot within the last few weeks. He has been longing to be with Bella. Now that I no longer keep them separate, he does get attacked 2-3 x/day for maybe 5-10 seconds by Bella but mainly briefly defends himself;' does not attack. We are all doing well here!
Bella, but he

BELLA
I keep telling Foster Mary she needs to get more flattering pictures of me. Then I tricks her and either turn my head or shut my baby blues. She's so much fun to trick.

Be sure to check out my new video. Come to find out I love playing with kids (if they are kind to me). A good game of fetch with hide and seek the toy are great fun.

I would love to be your only furkid as I do like to have plenty of attention, but I could live with another cat or two as long as they aren't aggressive or bossy with me. I don't tolerate bossy very well and will easily let it me known that I'm not a pushover.
I have a gentle nature and am politely playful. Heck I'm even good for my manicures!!!

If you are seeking a sweet young sealie girl who isn't overly playful but will play and will bond with you, who is a moderate talker, who will pat your leg when she wants attention....well then you gotta ask about me to find out more.

Notes from Home
Bella adapted quite well to her new surroundings and to me. She's a wonderful cat! After keeping Holly and Bella separate for one week, on their first encounter, they sniffed each other, circled, walked with me down the hall to the kitchen and then had one skirmish under the kitchen table and Bella chased Holly upstairs & another skirmish took place under my bed. I separated them again. For 17 days they've been mostly separated. One is confined to the bedroom or living room and the other runs free through the rest of the place/ Every couple hours I switch them around. Each has been in the room where the other one was, have smelled each others kitty litter, they often curl up on the place where the other had been. Then I borrowed a large wire cage from a friend so they could safely be with one another instead of one behind a closed door. Neither one liked being in the cage more than 15-20 min. Holly feels threatened but is hissing and growling less when Bella comes near while Holly is in the cage. If I hold one and bring her close (not in the cage) to the other it's OK for a few minutes.
My vet, Dr. Bujalski, came back from vacation today, and suggested I buy a harness and a leash so I can restrain Bella when she tries to run after Holly. He also suggested playing more with Holly and buying Food Puzzles for cats so she works off some of her energy. I asked him about Remedy drops. He recommended them and said I could buy them at Whole Foods, but I found Rescue Remedy for pets near where I live at a natural food store. (They told me that Rescue Remedy for humans has a brandy base, and for pets--it's alochoal free.) Dr. B. found that Bella had conjunctivitis and gave me drops and taught me how to give drops in both eyes mornings and evenings for 5-7 days.
Holly is fascinated by Bella, but very intimidated by her. I find when I go to look for Holly in the living room where she has been confined without Bella around, she has found a hiding place, and in the bedroom she will hide under the bed or dresser even when Bella is not around.
Dr. B. said it is probably going to take some time. Wish m e luck in getting a harness on Bella for their next encounter!
9,11,12 Both Holly and Bella are doing well, however, I still feel I cannot leave them alone together. Progress is slow. When I bring them together it is with Bella in the cage or Bella on a halter and leash. Bella is eager to get closer to Holly, and crawls toward her submissively, but if she gets closer than a foot away, Holly growls. When Holly sees me taking Bella out of the cage or putting on her halter, she runs and hides. But there have been several (6-7) occasions where Bella approached Holly and they lie within 1 to 3 feet of each other, staring at each other, Bella with her tail wagging like a dog (and I have Bella on the leash). If Holly starts to run upstairs, Bella tries to race after her. I still leave work 1-2x/day to switch them around--one confined to one room, the other free. In the evening we are together in the living room with Bella on the leash.

8/13/16
Bella had her annual physical on the 9th. Dr. Bujalski found everything fine and the blood work report the next day also. I told him she was eating less and he suggested that I alternate the kidney diet with other food. He had found crystals in her urine last year so she has been on the Royal Canin renal diet--both meaty and dry food and I mixed in a bit of Fancy Food diet with the meaty renal diet.
She was suffering from allergies--scratching her cheeks, rubbing her eyes, licking her anal area. In the past he gave a cortisone shot. But a few months ago he tried an antibiotic that did not alleviate the problem so he prescribed prednisone tablets--and that has worked well. At first she took 2 pills/day and lately she has been on 1/2 pill/day (2.5 mg?) and now we are trying half a pill every other day.
Bella is intrigued with Nieko's arrival, lies down 2 feet from the living room closed door when she knows Nieko is in the LR. Lisa Downing loaned me a gate and that seemed to work with a cat on either side until day 2 when Nieko jumped up on it and the next day over it. Then I tried putting Bella in the carrier, letting Nieko out of the LR. Bella hissed a bit while Nieko was rubbing his cheeks not the carrier. A few days later when Bella was in the upstairs bedroom, I opened the door a little and let the two cats meet through a crack. It was going well so I widened the gap, they rubbed noses, but all of a sudden they were at each other --bounding down the stairs and both made their way under a large desk where I could not reach them. Bella got under a dresser. When Nieko came out, I checked to make sure he was not hurt and put him back in the LR. When Bella came out, I checked to make sure she had no wounds. She kept looking at the LR door from the kitchen. Yesterday I put Bella in her carrier again and let Nieko come up but Bella growled and hissed. When I had put Nieko in his carrier, Bella did not show much interest.
Next I thought I might try letting each of them alone into the room of the other--Bella into the living room where Nieko has stayed and Nieko into the BR where Bella has been so they can get used to each other's smells that way. I was not doing that as long as I thought it possible that Nieko's sore in the ear might be ringworm. When Bella is in the upstairs BR, I let Nieko have the run of the rest of the place, and then when Nieko is back in the LR, I let Bella out to have the run of the place and I spend a lot of time with each separately--now that I am retired.
8/13/17 Bella is going for her annual check up and shots Aug. 23. I took her to the vet 3 or 4 mo. ago since she was producing a lot of urine and I suspected kidney failure, but Dr. B. said he thought it was from being on cortisone and on the special Royal Canin Urinary SO dry diet after in an earlier check up, crystals were found in her urine. The blood tests did not indicate the beginning of kidney failure.
Bella developed allergies--scratching her face, licking her anal area and initially she was given cortisone shots twice, I believe, but now she is on half a cortisone pill every other day and I give her eye drops in each eye daily. Her primary home is my upstairs bedroom. When I lead Nieko to the living room with food and shut the door, I let Bella out of the bedroom. She likes to be with me, seeks affection. But then she also goes under a desk where she has gone when chased by Nieko. If I leave while she is free to roam, I will come home and find that she had gone back up to the bedroom.
She also likes to play with the cat dancer and other toys, likes to be brushed, and she sleeps on my bed at night while Nieko sleeps in the living room.
9/5/18
Bella is doing fine. She had her annual physical a few weeks ago.
The big news is that she and Nieko are now together. They can lie within 3 feet of each other peacefully, but they do fight--Bella screams, hisses and briefly attacks Nieko maybe 2-3 times/day.
