PANG-PANG
I am the sweetest most loving kitty ever! My legs looks a little odd due to possible early malnutrition. They bend too much and I look like I'm crouching when I walk but I am slow and steady - just not agile at running or jumping. Altho I have been known to move fast when food is involved.
I love being on a lap or just sitting next to you getting head scratches and ear rubs. I can see but my vision is not good. Doesn't slow me down or keep me from getting around where I want to go.
Looking for a somewhat quiet home where I can be your best friend. Happy to just lounge around. I can be with other cats if they leave me alone.
Had good vet checkup and bloodwork is Aok.

Notes from Home
PangPang is doing great! The only objection she has to the accommodations is the placement of the litter box that was in the bathroom and is now temporarily moved into the small dressing room adjacent to it. We will revisit the situation at a later date! Other than that she chirps and meows to greet you whenever you come in to the master bedroom where she holds court all day and sleeps all night. She has a carpeted ramp and/ a cushioned stool to help her get up on the bed and starts purring and rolls on her back for a tummy rub when you start stroking her. She is also getting around with very little problem though her gait is a bit strange due to her deformed front feet (BTW,the vet said the deformity is congenital) but her hind legs have gotten much stronger as she does go back and forth to the kitchen ever hopeful for treats. Her fur is as soft as a bunny rabbit's so I think there might be a bit of Burmese or something else in her. She has darkened down a bit all over and really looks more like a seal point not a chocolate. Net ,net she is gorgeous and as Kay said is also the sweetest. I want to thank everyone and especially Kay for making this adoption possible.

5/15/16 -Pang-Pang continues to get more adorable every day. She now chats in a proper Siamese way when having a serious conversation but continues to chirp while she is purring. Purring starts immediately when you start patting or giving her a body rub and scritching her cheeks. It is also accompanied by flopping on her side and stretching out full length. All her legs have gotten stronger and she motors right along with her strange little gait but still does not venture all over the apartment. However she does call out and come into my office/guestroom when she wants some attention and a treat. She has also accepted and doesn't hide when friends she knows come by. She loves the attention and we all love giving it to her.

LISBAN
I am a handsome seal man! And I'm a sensitive one - I am not fond of changes. But foster mom says that there is only one more change for me - my forever home. Now that I am settled in, I'm very friendly and very purry. I like the cat tree and beds, and I love to be pet and scratched. I get along fine with other kitties as long as they are nice ones. I use my litter box like the good boy that I am. I have been to the vet, and officially declared very sweet. My senior bloodwork was done, and that will be back soon. But the vet says I seem healthy, so we aren't expecting anything other than the signs of a senior cat. I eat well, and I even play! I love to sit next to you and watch TV too - I can help you root for your favorite teams, or watch movies with you. Need a nice companion? Then ask about me.

I am back home with my Paw. I had a short trip to PA to visit my (temp) foster but am back now. went to see Dr Verma today and I started my prescription KD with my azodyl to help with the kidneys. Things are the same and it is like I never left (sitting in the recliner with Paw, Sleeping on the bed and in my mille bed, getting lots of love and playing with my leather toy).

Life is good.

1/10/16
Life is good here. I play hide and seek every morning with Meowmy and Paw when it is medicine time. I love to spend time with Paw sitting in the recliner or snuggling at night in bed. I am one happy cat!

3/10/16
Loving life! I am happy that Spring is coming. Meowmy and Paw have had the deck area (the feline residents call it the Catio) open and I like to lay on the furniture, bask in the sun and listening to the sounds of nature.

8/6/16
I went in for my annual bloodwork and Meowmy was able to get the Idexx SDMA test for me. The results are in and my levels are closer to the normal range then last year. So, all the yummy prescription food and daily Azodyl pills are keeping me healthy. other than that, nothing much has changed. I still love to relax with Paw in the recliner and spend my days watching wildlife on the catio or napping in the sun.

January 2017: state of the home address
Not much have really changed. I continue to take my daily meds and my health is good. Dad and I take our afternoon nap together in the recliner and we like to watch tv together too.

ANALA
Hi there! I'm Anala.

Meowmy named me that after an Elephant in a TV series she'd watched. She said I was so tiny when I came that she wanted to give me a BIG name to grow into. And it's working. I was the runt of the litter, but now am 2 1/2 lbs, had my spay and am ready for my forever home.

I love to run and play, know what my litterbox is for, and also like to snuggle with meowmy. I did have an injured eye when I first got here, but that's all better now and it just waters a little sometimes. Won't you consider giving me a forever home?

Notes from Home
Came to live in my new home in Nov. 2012 and I learned all kinds of things from my brothers. I have 3 and a sister. We helped meowmy wrap up presents and I helped dad pull tissues out of the box and I ran around and played a lot too.

2013 Summary
Meowmy said that I grew like a weed. Must be all that exercise and playing chase in the house. Meowmy gave me medicine every day and my eyes are pretty blue and bright. Meowmy and Daddy say so. I found that sleeping in the window with my brothers is a good thing to do and I share my king size bed with meowmy and daddy. They love me so much! I like things done a certain way and sometimes I have to tell Meowmy when things aren't right. Daddy gave me lots of treats so I know he likes when I share my opinions with them.

My sister meezer died this year and Meowmy brought home another brother for me. At first, I did not like him but he is a nice guy. I even showed him how to sleep in the window. Tucker and I are besties now. I like to sleep all stretched out but sometimes Meowmy would start up that robot vacuum. It is smart because it cleans right around me.

Then I became 1 year old. I received lots of treats and kisses.

So, happy new year and don't forget to kiss your meezer!

Jan 2014
I have heard about these Re-solutions. I am not sure I like this. Meowmy made one, I think, because she has been putting this stuff on our teeth. two of my brothers had some teeth taken out and Meowmy says that this paste stuff will help us. It doesn't taste bad but I am not sure I want fingers in my mouth.

June 2014
my Pawrents decided to make the house different. They made the deck area cat friendly so we can go outside there and sniff the breeze, or watch the birds. There is yummy grass for us growing and the screens keep all those mosquitoes, fleas and ticks away from us. It is so nice. They also thought that if they replaced the carpet with wood then our toys slide across the floor easier. It makes it so much more fun to play in the house.

Nov 2014
So it has been 2 years since I came to live here and Meowmy and Paw have learned my schedule. Dinnertime, snacktime, love time and playtime. Paw always warms up my bed by laying in it first....a big queen size bed for me and sometimes I let my fur-brothers snuggle with me and Paw. He is such a great paw because he never lets my greenie treats run out and he gives me my lysine everyday. although Meowmy works a lot, she always makes time for me too. I love my home!

January 2015
Things are going well here. I am happy, eating well, keeping things neat in the litterbox and love sleeping on the top of the cat tree and playing with all my toys. Since it has been getting cold at night, I love to curl up and snuggle with my Paw at night.

January 2016: State of the Home Address
2015 has been a year of changes. Tucker left us when renal disease won the battle but Paw wanted to add 3 new members to our family: Maxie who is 1/2 siamese and her mama and 4 sisters all found homes with SCR, Stanley who was a seal balinese kitten that needed jaw surgery when he was 2 months old and finally, Lisban a senior seal gentleman.

overall life has been good with me and I have not had any eye problems but Meowmy and Paw make sure that I get my L-Lysine everyday with greenie treats. They feed me and all my fur-siblings good food and make sure that we always look our best with brushing, nail trims and teeth brushings.

It has been 3 years since i came to live here and I love it!

January 2017: State of the home address
I am almost 4 years old now.

2016 brought health issues to me. I was diagnosed with Stomatitis and had all my teeth removed. After several checkups and a daily fatty acid for a month. I was feeling much better. I hardly have to take the fatty acid anymore and use it like my L-Lysine, just for maintenance when it is needed. everyone's is doing well especially since meowmy has sequestered Oreo to the upstairs. There are no more power struggles amongst the boys.

Smokey continues to watch over me like a big brother and I run through the house with Stanley and Maxie.

Meowmy has a new job in which she works long hours so we all try to snuggle with her at night. She likes when I sleep on her pillow and make biscuits in her hair while she sleeps.

JOSIE
I am a young, chatty, love bug. I got along with my dogs and have been around children! Maybe not very young ones as it really takes me some time to settle in and trust. I showed foster mom a new trick today. I lift up off my back legs to get pets. But I scurry to safety still if I hear a noise I don't know so you just have to realize that I am not a waltz out of the carrier ready to own my world kind of gal. I could be home to keep you warm for New Years.
Notes from Home
Josie is settling in to her new home perfectly! She has had the run of the house for about a week now and seems like she belongs already. She and Kevin are getting along very well (after the first few hisses back and forth they realized neither was a threat to the other). They have started playing a bit and are often in the same room hanging out together. I think with a little more time they will be fast friends. Josie is still tentative about my dog since he gets so excited to see her but they are getting used to each other as well.
She had her introductory visit with our vet and made quite a stir since she is so beautiful. She eats like a champ and has perfect litter habits.
She is exceedingly efficient at clearing off all countertops and vanity tops with a swish of her voluminous tail, so she is helping me to keep the clutter to an absolute minimum!
I've attached a few pics of her enjoying her new home. I couldn't be happier to have her in our lives! Thank you for all you do in bringing people together with their fur families :)

ROSCOE P COLETRANE
Affectionate, cuddly, outgoing and just plain super nice seal point boy. Excellent litter box habits.

Very intense, needy and a super companion - great for anyone home all day.

Ideally, would be an only cat but tolerates other cats that are friendly and non-dominant. Would probably get along with respectful dogs that left him alone.

It has been 2 weeks since Roscoe has joined our home, and it honestly feels as if it has been longer. He has made himself at home here so quickly. At first I didn't think of inquiring about Roscoe. We thought a younger cat would be better for our dog, but after speaking to our interviewer I inquired about it and I am so happy I did. He is great around our dog. They will sniff one another and they eat treats together. I am so thankful for Jennifer who suggested Roscoe and especially for Deidre his foster meowmmy who took such wonderful care of him until his furever home was found and of course to the Siamese Rescue Organization who makes this all possible.

LUNA
Got lost from my owner so back with Siamese Rescue. I am an easy going girl who is a little chatty and a little overwhelmed right now but adjusting quickly. Sweet and loving. Fine with quiet kitties - not looking for playmates.
Bumbles.
Notes from Home
01/04/16 We have had Bumbles, now named Luna, for 5 days now, and she's been adjusting well! When we first got home she ran straight under my bed. That's her hiding place now. She is still so shy and not completely trusting but opening up great! Within the first night, she came out and let me pet her for a while. Now, she's let our entire family around her. She loves to play with toys, but she still gets awfully startled and scared when she hears the smallest noises and runs under my bed. She usually comes out at night and explores while everyone is sound asleep. Nonetheless, she has gotten used to the noises of the door opening and closing. Right now she is peacefully napping in her cat bed. :)

01/14/16 Luna has been with us for 2 weeks now. Took her to the vet and everything looked fine! She is still staying in her starter room, but I've been opening the door for her when no one's home and it's quiet. She has explored a bit but runs back inside my room shortly after. She's eating well and using the litter box fine, and sometimes, she gets on my bed and asks to be petted. :) She's still not too sure if she should trust yet, but we're making progress!

Notes from Home
Iris is doing really well. She has completely settled in. In fact, she is currently sitting in front of my monitor as I write this. I'm so happy that we "picked" each other. We are a good match and she brings lots of joy and fun to my life. She had her vet check last week and all is good. Her personality is really coming out and is finding her voice. She is very loving, playful and yet independent, a real meezer. She has slept with me from the very first night. At first she would crawl up in the bend of my knees but now she "owns" my body, I wake up and she will be on my hips, legs or ribs.

9/29/13

Iris continues to adjust very nicely, I think she is happy in her furr-ever home. I know I am very happy to have her. She has become much more phyically active and really loves to play hide and seek and chase after her long furry wand toy or bat her small ball around. Jeanne, she is really liking the pop up house you gave her, some times she sleeps in it and that is the only place where she will play with the cat nip toys. I've added 2 new picture, in one she thinks she's hiding.

10/6/13

It has only been a month but it seems like Iris has always been with me we are definitely a bonded pair!. She is the nicest most lovable kitty, I'm very lucky to have her. She continues to do well, good appetite, good stools. Her favorite activities are, of course, sleeping, eating, exploring and playing and does she love to play. She attacks her furry wand toy with a vengeance doing jumping somersaults. She is a girl of few words, so when she speaks I listen It is usually to let me know her dish is empty, even though she isn't hungry, or it is play time. She learned to open the bottom cupboard doors and would only do it if I was out or at night so they are now cat proofed.
Thank you again to everyone who had apart in rescuing Iris and making it possible for us to connect.

WOW it's just two months, but I feel like Iris has always been with me.... She is doing good but hasn't gained any weight. I took her back to the vet and she said to give her another month and weigh her again. She is still very active and if she is not sleeping or eating she wants to play. At the moment her favorite toys are crinkled up paper or chasing her leash. Now that the weather is changing her coat is getting thicker so I brush her daily and she absolutely loves it. As soon as I pick up the brush, she is in my lap. I've included some new pictures, two sleeping, of course, and one where she is waiting patiently for me to finish with the computer so she can have more lap time.

3/26/14

It has been a little over 6 mths and Iris is doing really well. I'm so happy that she is a part of my life. She has definitely established herself as the "alpha roommate" so we both know who's boss. She loves to play so we have multiple energetic play session each day. Haven't had any luck finding an interactive toy that interests her (at some point PetCo will tell me no more returns), she prefers to be entertained rather than entertain herself. I finally found a cat tree for her. Because she was declawed it took awhile to find a design that she could easily go from perch to perch and she really seems to like it. Hopefully this will keep her off the top of the kitchen cabinets. She recently decided that the top of the cabinets would be her new sleeping spot. I came home one day and couldn't find her, she didn't even respond when called. I went into the kitchen and there she was sleeping on top of the cabinets, totally ignored me when I called to her, and refused to come down until she was ready. She is becoming quite the talker, we have some very long "conversations". I've included some new photos.

aug 13, 2014

Hello from Iris and me. We will be celebrating our one year anniversary in a few week. I'm so lucky to have her in my life. She is doing really well, she loves her lap time (on my lap as I write this) and being brushed also spends a lot of time in her condo looking out the window or sleeping. She has a new spot for sleeping - a small box I forgot to pick up and she took possession. She had her annual vet visit today. In general she is doing really well and has put on a little weight, she is now 6.8 lbs and the vet feels that is a good weight for her. She does have some dental problems and will have two molars removed next week. She has developed lesions on the gum line that destroys the tooth. Apparently some cats have this problem, unfortunately there is no prevention or treatment other than tooth removal, hopefully this will be the end of the problem. I've added some new pictures.

10/04/16

Hello from Iris, It's been a while since my last update, but I'm doing great. I still enjoy my play times and lap time with lot of belly rubs. Here are some of my last "photo shoots"

1/13/17

Iris is doing really well. So glad that she is part of my life. We finally found a toy that she hasn't become bored with. It is the very simple wire with the rolled paper on the end. She loves it and will play for 10-15 mins chasing and jumping after it. She definitely likes boxes. She claimed 2 recently and one is quite large; I covered them in decorative paper so they "fit" in better. Am including some new pics.

SOPHIE
Hi There!

I like Cats! I like Kids! I like Dogs! Do you like me??

I am sweet and loving and have no issues. I like to cuddle and be held. I am very low maintenance and I have the softest fur you ever felt - just like a bunny rabbit. I am not shy, I have great litter box habits, I don't scratch furniture and I am only mildly upset with vacuum cleaners. In short, I'm everything you ever wanted in a family member. If you pick me, I will really try to learn how to do dishes and make coffee. And I'll love you forever.

Purrs, Sophie
Notes from Home
I have made previous updates directly to Jen or Kathy. Will try to use this feature. Sophie continues to do very well. She has no real health issues and has become much more cuddly over the years. She has never been one to enjoy playing with anything at all for more than 5 minutes if that, rather is quite the couch potato! Her talent is looking decorative and has had many compliments on that. :) I have always said she reacts in some ways more like a dog and after calling her a lynx point Siamese all these years I suspect is is a Birman. She has the conformation and points more associated with that breed. Whatever her pedigree she is a joy. I will try to include photos using the button below.

Notes from Home
Hello Everyone

I had Abby for approximately 6.5 years and she was the light of my life. I enjoyed the quiet movements in and out of rooms, but also the demonstrative whining when she wanted food or attention. She was not a lap cat but many a night she would cuddle and sleep on my ankles. She was also my alarm clock and dutifully made certain I was awake at 4 AM so I could get up to go to work... but also feed her. In October she seemed not her usual self and was not eating normally. I took her to the veterinarian. It was then that we learned she had developed the early stages of renal disease. Dr. Miani felt it would be something she could live with for several years and treat. So we brought her home and transitioned her to a new renal diet. I hoped with this treatment for more time to enjoy our lives. However, in December renal disease progressed to complete renal failure. My gentle loving friend died on December 16th of 2016. I miss her terribly.

Thanks for helping me share my life with her.

Frances

Sweet and gentle little purr machine.

Over the cooties and now moved to the BIG FOSTER room. YAH!!!

I'm still just a bit hesitant about hands coming at me, but lapsit with the best of
them once placed on momma's lap.

Loving my wand playtime and sharing nicely with my sisters.

I need a quieter home with another nice playful cat that I can model after.

Gentle, patient pawrents that are willing to continue People Socialization 101. Well,
maybe 102 or 103, by the time I am ready to go home in mid-late December.

Purrs,

Legolas

1/13/2017 Can barely believe it's been a month already! He's gotten into the routine here and is doing great. We couldn't be happier with him. His older kitty sisters are starting to come around to him, and the younger one has decided he is a pretty good playmate already. We can't believe how big he has gotten in a month - we're looking forward to many more happy days with him!
