Diamond - At first I was really mad that my humans stuck me in a car and moved me to a new house. I growled and hissed to let them know that I disapproved of the road trip. Life is better now that I have settled into my new house. Dragon and I are back to cuddling and playing together, and I have even mellowed a bit more and have occasionally been caught sleeping next to Teddy.

Update from the queen - I am developing into a very affectionate girl with my humans. Where they are, I am sure to be close by. I am the chief leg dryer after the humans shower - boy were the guests surprised! I enjoy cuddling with my mate (Dragon) and racing up and down the stairs playing with my toys. I am slowly starting to warm to the recent addition to our family, Teddy.

Our little “diva†continues to settle in with us. While the good snuggling (head butting and rubbing up against you) and loving (belly rubs) are on her terms, it happens so frequently, that we don’t have to wait long for her to initiate the interactions. She also puts up with me kissing her on the head often. One strange thing that she now does is sit over the heat vent when warm air is blowing up. She sits on one and cleans or she rolls around and plays with the plastic heat diverters that we have sitting on the vents (see attached picture).

Diamond is our purr girl - she purrs day or night. She is also our appliance girl - if there is an open fridge/freezer/dishwasher, she runs to it and tries to crawl in it. She absolutely loves bread - has already opened up two bags to get to the bread and even knocked a plastic container with muffins in it off the countertop in an attempt to open it up and get to the muffins! She loves playing with the fleece bowties that you all sent home with her and she also likes crinkly foil balls. When it comes time to nap on your lap, she likes to lie on your legs, between your knees and your ankles.
They both love to sleep together in a dog bed that my mom bought for them. It is perfectly sized. They frequently engage in rounds of gently play, rough-housing, and cleaning each other easily transitioning from one activity to the next. When they play and run up and down our stairs, it sounds like we have a herd of meezers in the house! Both sleep with us at night - mostly on our legs. We are thoroughly enjoying our lives with them. :-)

Springsteen is now Merlin and he is the most beautifuland unique cat there is.
He is still getting over his scardy cat thing ,but he is almost there.
He is now 11 months old and he is so sweet and loving. He keeps my husband and i laughing all the time with his silly play. He lays on to of just about everything and acts kile hebis king of the world!!!. And in this house he is. I still remember after looking at hundreds of pictures in different rescues and when I saw him he made my heart jump.
This is the first time I have rescued an pet and I have had dogs,horses, barn cats, rabbits, birds, and many more. My children always had pets growing up. And now that they are grow and married with their children they also have lots of pets but all theirs are rescued. I am so happy they said to me "mom rescue it is the only way to go" Don't have pictures just yet but they will be coming soon. Thank you Emily fore being such a great foster mom Virgina for all your good works. There is a place in heaven for people like you. Michele and Merlin

Hey you've got to live for something, and I live for food. What can I say, at 19 pounds, Jacques and I are having a contest for the best food storage bin there is. So if you need any help cleaning up, lmk. And if you're looking for entertainment? I love to race around, play fetch, rock drop and roll, and generally have a good time. Abuse when I was younger leaves me somewhat suspicious of fast hands, and while I'm anxious to be pet I'm nervous about asking. I'm perfectly mannered in the litterbox too. Give me a ring and we'll do lunch, breakfast, dinner, or even midnight snack, I'm easy, or is that hungry?

BABY BLUE
Just arrived. More information soon. - When I was a baby in rescue, I was a very light blue, but now, as you can see, I am a very dark, very handsome seal point boy. I get along with cats (in fact, I miss my previous cat friends), dogs and kids. I am a little shy at first, but once I warm up to you, I am the ultimate "perfect cat". My family didn't want to give me up, but allergies necessitated it. Please help me find my "new" forever home.

Blue is well adjusted to his new Forever Home. He and Max are doing fine as new Brothers! Once in awhile Blue will tell Max he is too close! We kept the name Blue we felt he had enough change in his life and his name seemed to fit him just fine. He has learned the house very quickly and enjoys his times on the screened porch watching the birds and squirrels. We love our Blue!

This kitten is exactly what we hoped for. He and the dog, Pippa, have become practially inseperable. They play constantly and when Pan has had enough he goes to his room. It has a low gate that the dog won't cross. Pan is affectionate when it is his idea and he purrs louder than any cat I've ever heard. I wish I knew how to upload pictures so you could see him and Pippa together. They are quite a pair.

Hi there!
I'm sorry it took so long for Meowmy to tell you about me, but I've been feeling so bad that I couldn't tell her much. You see, I'm just a baby myself and was pregnant when I landed in the shelter. The vet said I was too young to have kittens so she took them,..... all 6 of them and fixed it so I'd never be in that condition again. I am starting to feel better now, though I'm still grumpy enough to growl at the other kitties in the room here, so for now I think I'd rather your main squeeze. I'll let you know later if I change my mind.
Meowmy says I'm beautiful, and will probaly be a petite girl when I'm all grown up.

Well, I am writing to let you know the most recent updates regarding my cute Luna. Luna is my loyal sweet catita. She is very loving and she demands love, and if she does not get pet, she starts running around like a crazy cat. On the morning she loves when I open the window for sun-light. Lately, she likes sleeping next to my feet or arms. She talks a lot, specially when I just come back home. She is really funny, she plays with her mice and lifts them to the air and jumps even backwards. She loves to sit next to me when I am reading, she never sits in my lap. She loves to spin on her back and she crosses her arms. She also drinks from her water fountain from her paw! not her tongue! We always greet eachother tipping our noses too...
11/30/2012: I am writing to update Luna's profile since I adopted her. She has been a blessing to me. She makes me laugh sometimes when she plays. She is a DIVA now. When she is tired of her food (every 2 or 3 days) she meows demanding me to follow her to the kitchen and meows a lot. That is when I know she wants her wet food, appetizers tuna her favorite. She loves to stare at me and she still never likes to sit on my lap but every once in a whle she sleeps next to me while watching t.v. Luna loves her own space, she is such a proper lady. She has always been very respectful and grateful. She has her bed on a couch next to me so we fall asleep at the same time starring at eachother. She only lets me pet her when SHE wants to. We still always greet eachother by tapping our noses. Every morning she is waiting for me to open my eyes to jump right in my face to pet her (a little demanding) but i LOVE THAT. A great way to wake up. For the past year, I have noticed that I feel she is too lonely. One time I cought her starring at the neighbors window cat. I never knew there was a cat in the neighbor's window, they were both starring at eachother. They can't reach eahother since it is a condo building. I feel so bad, she stares at the window all day, i do open it a bit so she gets fresh air. I leave everyday and she stares at me serious because she knows I am leaving. I feels she lives a lonely life, I am gone for 8 hours every day and she makes me feel so guilty when I leave in the morning. When I come back she jumps to the door and meows to greet me. I love it. I think she would enjoy company and someone to play with and love during the time I am gone. My mom has 2 siamese and they are brothers. I see how they play and sleep together, even lick eaother and all I can think of is Luna, how Luna would love some company.
03/14/2014 so happy to get an email celebrating Luna's 5 year Anniversary- I am happy to say she continues to be healthy and now has a buddy to keep her company. Proud to let you guys know she continues to be safe and loves fresh grass or cat nip leaves

I go with brother Kuzco! We are two of the happiest, friendliest, most laid back easily adaptable cats you have ever met. That's because we're army brats that have moved from Alaska to NC to MD to VA and took it all in stride. We'd like to stay together, we lay side by side holding paws :) We're very easy keepers and would slot in anywhere. I do have a special star as I have some issues with anemia, but I'm of the opinion that you live each day to its fullest, you get as much loving and lap sitting and enjoyment out of it as you can, and you appreciate what you have and what you get. And let me tell you, I am a very appreciative Meezer who will talk to you, love on you, and follow you wherever if you'd like me to!

2/7/11- very comfortably settled in..thinks he owns the house...plops where ever he wants. doesn't seem to mind kuzco claiming his time in the spotlight. both cats very well settling. love em.
2/20/11- I love my Siamese kitties. Rajah , who is now kind of known as Yappa cat, or yellow cat. he comes to those names..I have him successfully doing cardio now. we play chase. i start running, and he picks it up, then as soon as i get tired, he and Kuzco start playing chase. Yappa cat no longer looks like a fat Buddha. he is trimming down and muscling up. He even plays with Kuzco's fishing rod, and has been known to do a somersault or two.
Kuzco, on the other hand, is turning into quite the lap cat, and getting very vocal. if i don't play with him in his time frame, he jumps on the counter to retrieve his toy, and brings it to me. Ballsy little butt head. He's got his own stubborn streak, that was just overshadowed by his brother. They are more evenly matched now, and peace reigns the majority of the time. Their individual personalities are really emerging. Love em both much.
3/8/11- Raj, aka Yappa, is doing great. has successfully lost enough weight to look VERY healthy, and is far more active...all that time on the kitty treadmill has paid off. he has taken over the house, rules with a firm hand. He has displaced me on my own bed, claimed my spot, and he allows me to be next to him.
8/20/11= Raj, aka Yappa Cat, is a very happy Yappy! His coat is beautiful now, very striking in it's color. It has gotten very soft, and the shade of it changes and flows. Never seen a flame color quite like this. We have our "conversation" time every morning. Yappy has an opinion on everything, and freely shares it. He is a healthy sleek wt, still big, but in shape and well distributed. Kuz on the other hand has gotten quite plump. All that laying around being patted. Absolutely love these kittie cats, they make my day when I come home.
1/19/13: Rajah is now known as Yappa Cat, because he is always yapping at me, or Happy Yappy. He is still a hefty 16 or 17 libs, but the weight is a little better distributed these days. Yap gets plenty of exercise playing with Kittily, and looks disdainfully at the Kuz, lying on the bed being a purr machine. At one time, the situation was reversed...
His health issues have never reemerged...he is doing great! Siri was correct:A Flame is a very special kitty indeed!
I've been in touch with their original Mom thru the years...so great to know where they came from, and the little things that make a difference. Maybe some pics soon...
3/14/14-Yappy cat is healthy and well and getting into trouble everyday, he thinks hes a people, and should therefore be entitled to everything people, especially people food. He just lost his best friend, Kittily, and he and Kuz are a little lonely, looking for him. He and Kittily used to play all the time, since Kuz has become a bed potato.

Well here I am at Casa Kuck with foster Pops Peter. You can't believe the changes I've been through. Once, I had an a human companion and we lived in a home with his mother and two other (female) cats. Needless to say we were all (as they say) intact and they had their way with me. As life would have it, in the fullness of time I became the father of a numerious family, and my human companion's mother decided that either my human companion had to go (which meant I also had to go) or I and my numerious family had to hit the bricks. Luckily for us my human companion contacted a rescue group who called Peter who is with Siamese rescue and here I am. As for my numerious family (including my 5 kittens), they are OK as well and are being fostered by the rescue group that found Peter for me. At 10 pounds foster Pops calls me his gentle giant.
I will be with foster Pops until after the middle of March when all of my shots are up to date and I can meet and play with the other cats at casa Kuck.

One year anniversary! Sammy is doing GREAT. He's come a long way with lots of patience, love and very gentle hands.
He is both healthy and happy and also fully aware that he's now in a safe environment.
He loves me and spends a lot of time in my lap telling me about it! He is also crazy for his little girl Mazzy ( adopted for him from ScRC). They are constant companions and wonderfully playful, endlessly amusing and a great joy for me.

Hi I am Irina. I am a sweet beautiful girl. I have super soft bunny like fur, a nice round face and my whiskers are nicely curled. I am a tiny little slip of a girl - not underweight at all - I come in at 6 lbs. I love to give you gentle head butts with an occasional soft lick. I love to lay in your lap or on your chest and when I think you want to pet me more, I will give you a gentle tap on your chin. I am a sweet girl with a sunny disposition - Foster Mom says I am the cat version of Katie Curic. I am not afraid to try new things - I met a dog and was confidant enough to sniff noses with it. I am affectionate and just too precious for words (Foster Mom's words not mine - I am not conceited at all!) I am neat as a pin in my litter box too. What more can you want in a cat? Oh, Foster Mom says I have to say this too - I do drool just an itso bitso when I am snuggled up with you.

Yearly update; For some reason I couldn't get to the right place to give a 6 mo. update but my DH got me in for the yearly. Irena is doing great. There has been a truce declared between her and Sabrina. She still has a couple of scabs on her which don't seem to bother her. Medicine given didn't seem to work. She was updated with the necessary shots two weeks ago. Vets not concerned with scab unless it gets worse. She sleeps on top of the bed every night, while Sabrina sleeps under the covers. We are happy she is with us. Ann
