BONBON
Hi, Lee here. I LOVE people but other cats not so much. Foster Mom says since I am so loving and affectionate with people the fact that I need to be an only cat shouldn't be a problem. I can fulfill all of your kitty wants and needs all by myself.

Ask about me, won't you please?

Love,
Lee

BonBon ( his new name) is as sweet as his name. He is the perfect cat for us. He is social, funny and the most playful guy we have ever saw. Even his vet thinks that he is the most charming cat. I am sending you a few pictures so you can see him.
Lots of love, Graciela
1/12/13 Dear All,
BonBon is doing great. He just had his check up and the vaccines he needed. He is a little overweight but, now he is on a diet. I am so happy with him and I think we really found each other.
Best, Graciela

BUDDY
Don't know about you but MY holidays were not the best. I got lost outside, I had a fractured rear leg, I had to spend weeks in cage rest with cast after cast on my leg (I'm really good at taking them off) and now FINALLY I'm ready to make my debut! However I do need a home where my activity can be watched carefully, I shouldn't fly up and down the stairs quite yet! (No small kids only because I need very careful hands while my leg continues to heal!)
Notes from Home
Buddy is doing great and he's the joy of my life! He has gained just a little bit of weight (which is good, considering he was only 6 pounds when I adopted him) and he is very active and affectionate. I could not be happier. He loves his new cat tower that was recently made for him as a christmas present (see pictures). :)

Notes from Home
12/28/2012: Beau is doing great -- he's just a really sweet cat. Now that he is out of isolation, he's explored every inch of the house (sometimes at high speed) and mastered the cat flap, which gives him access to a screened porch. He is quite vocal, announcing himself whenever he enters or leaves a room or just to let us know he's around.

Laila and Beau are still working on their relationship. They aren't close yet, but there has been no hissing, growling, or other indication of hostility. Laila has been approaching Beau, but he's still backing away . . . just not as quickly as he was a couple of days ago. Beau is such a quick learner that I expect Laila will soon teach him how to be a good cat buddy.

01/09/2013: Beau has completely transitioned from company to family. He's decided that the love seat in the back room is a fine place to nap, but when he's awake he likes to hang out in the 'chair leg jungle' (under a chair in the dining room table). Or the cat tree. Or the living room. Or the green chair upstairs. Yeah, he's pretty much taken over the whole place. The one thing he still hasn't mastered is the cat flap that would let him out onto the screened porch. Maybe he just hasn't liked the weather enough so far.

Beau and Laila have had a couple of breakthroughs: he's grooming her head whenever she headbutts him, and we've seen the first running of the 'Feline 500' (a couple of high speed laps around the first floor). He's so much taller than she is it's funny to see her next to him. Makes her look almost like a kitten. Both of them are also now chaperoning me when I shower in the morning. They actually don't hang around too long. Just make sure I really AM taking a shower, then slink back into bed. They apparently don't mind getting up at 0330 . . . they just don't want to stay up. They must get sufficient rest to properly monitor Bill when he gets up.

One weird thing is that Beau's fur has darkened noticeably since he arrived. We saw the same phenomenon with Laila and Bozwell -- they were almost cream colored when we got them, then became progressively darker.

Beau came through his first visit with the vet on Monday with flying colors and he was a complete gentleman the whole time. Of course, since I was the evil one who crammed him into the carrier, he's now viewing me with great suspicion when I pick him up. Which of course means that I just pick him up more. And I tell him that it was all Bill's idea. More photos to come soon.

KATIE
Another stunning front declawed seal point snowshoe. Mama Katie says she just can't pass up a chance to foster snowshoes. She keeps telling me that I am BEAUTIFUL. Do you think she is right? If you do, you'd better ask about me. I have that "siamese" meow, so I will talk to you when you are around. Everyone who meets me says I am "precious, precious, precious." Oh, and I love to carry on conversations with you and be with YOU where ever you are. I am a PEOPLE kitty.

Purrs and lots of headbutts, Xena - a real "princess"

Thank you all so much for the continued contact. Katie is doing fantastic. She is so sweet. She loves to lay in the sun by my sliding doors and is a total push over for a good brushing. She is very vocal and a great companion. She eats very well and loves her treats. She likes vistors and is very curious of anything new. She's not afraid of anything.
This entire process has been such a great experience. I wish I had more space, I would adopt more.
1/10/13
It's been six months since I adopted Katie. She is such an awesome cat. We are companions. She greets me at the door every afternoon when I get home from work and isn't happy until I pick her up and snuggle with her. This is the only time that she likes to be held! The rest of the time that I am home, she likes to be within eye-sight or she will meow until I talk to her to let her know where I am. She is not a lap cat, but lays next to me on the couch , bed or at my feet. She loves to play with any toy she can find. That is, if she hasn't batted it under a couch or chair. She is very spoiled, with her dry food, wet food and treats, but she is not an over-eater.
Sometimes I will mimic her meows and she will come running to see if I am ok, like she knows what I'm "saying". It's so cute! She will meow back at me like we are having a feline conversation.... really makes me laugh.
She has great manners and is very clean. She has never missed her litter box and will remind me if I forget to scoop it. I would be very lonely with out her and I think the feeling is mutual.
I'm happy every day for making the decision to adopt her.

JORDAN
Hi all you adopters out there, I am still looking for my very own home. I was pended but am available again after being left at the altar for "another woman". I am active and frisky and affectionate. No shy wallflower am I. I'm ready for anything and will keep you thoroughly entertained. Just had my vetting so am ready to go home as soon as the love of my life picks me up at the church steps :)

Jan 2013 - well Jordan is getting better at not biting but still into everything and LOVES EVERYONE. its a happy household and other than a few bad habits she's learning from older brother Cowboy i think she is very happy.

Hi Everyone - well it's a little over a month and Jenna is now Jordan and growing fast! She is still into everything! but loving her new home and new brothers and sisters. They are all getting along great. She has one habit that i'm hoping she will out grow and i'm trying to keep her from doing but she's a biter. Her way of showing love but no one wants it!

We're working it out!

BRODY
Update: I am becoming a chatty fellow. I am also trying hard to out do Emma in overcoming my hesitation to be picked up. But sit on the floor with me and I LOVE pets.

Update: Sure wish foster mom would quite laughing at me. I made her earn my trust and now I scold her if she is giving too many pets to Elvis, Emma and Chino. What is funny about that? I deserve my share. I sure love my lettermates and need a kitty companion in my life.

Feed me and I'm all yours, as long as it's canned food!! Food is the way into my heart for now. The people world is still a bit scary, but I am getting the hang of all these noises. Boy, humans sure make enough of them! If you aren't too pushy, I will reward you with tons of purrs and demand chin scritches. I have to admit that foster mom caught me cutting an attitude when she quit scratching my chin. I got a little upset that she quit and I had to pretend I didn't care, but I don't think I did a very good job. She laughed!
Notes from Home
Jan 2013- Jordan (aka Jenna) has now been in the household for about 4 months now and Brody is completely comfortable now. Often sits out on the floor, activly plays with Jordan and Cowboy and more people loving. Its been a big step for Brody and i think he is truly comfortable and happy - no more hidding in the corners of rooms.

WOW i can't believe Brody is 4 already. Well Jordan has been the right choice and bringing Brody out of his shell. He is more active, more playful and now will sit in the middle of the room instead of the corner. His coat is getting so dark and he seems to be a big boy now - like he grew up over night!
He's a happy kitty and loving his new sister!

MARLEY
Hi there! I'm Marley, and foster Meown says that I have very silky fur and that I must be an Armani kind of guy. I've settled in well here at the Italian B&B for Wayward Siamese, with my brother Monk. There are a number of high places in our room for me to visit, and I do love high places.

Meown loves to hear me talk, and she says that while I can carry on conversations, I'm not one of those forever yowling meezers. I like to play with little Dee Dee, a former foster kitten, who lives here. I have impeccable litter box manners, and love to eat all sorts of people food (Foster Meown treats with with tiny bits every so often)

I'm here with my 'brother' Monk - we like snuggling together in a big kitty bed by the window, where we can watch the birds. We do want to stay together, as although I'm a little smaller than Monk, I'm the more adventuresome boy. If I try something and like it, Monk will try it too. So, if you have room in your home and your heart for two handsome, refined meezers, we'd love to have you discuss it with Foster Meown!

MONK
Well, this Italian B & B for Wayward Siamese is pretty nice - my brother Marley and I love the big people bed with the kitty house on it. The special kitty heating pad under it makes it so cozy at night.

We love snuggling together in the big kitty bed by the window - we can watch the birds and squirrels outside. Meowm say that maybe we'll be able to catch a mouse in our room - she said other fosters have done it! I've never seen a real mouse. I like it when Meown holds me close. Sometimes little Dee Dee comes into to play with us - she told us that she used to be a foster kitten here.

We'd like a quiet, fur-ever home, where we can continue to regain our confidence, relax and love and be loved. No dogs, OK? And I must go together with Marley, please! Can we be together with you?
Notes from Home
Mr Monk aka Mr Kitty is still shy but comes out for a cuddle every night when I get home. Switched them both to Blue brand dry food they still have no interest in the good stuff ( canned wet foor ). The two of the wrestle on a regular basis.

CHING
You know that song "Give me all your lovin" by ZZ Top? That is MY theme song!

I am simply an AMAZING little cat. My foster mom has no idea why someone hasn't snatched me up yet! The top 10 best things about me:

* I give face kisses frequently. I like to aim with my milk mustache.
* I will rub every inch of myself allllll over you to show how much I adore you.
* I will purr when you so much as look at me.
* I love to be held, and will rub my whole face on your head and shoulders while you hold me.
* Sometimes I love you so much, I drool out of sheer happiness.
* I love to talk in chirps and mews, but I will be quiet when you're on the phone. Promise.
* I love to play, with or without you, so I can entertain myself and be alone. Just give me plenty of love when you get back!
* I use my litterbox and my scratching post like a lady.
* I have ZERO issues. Not a one. I'm a little overweight, but I'm getting slimmer by the day!

My story is very sad. My loving human Dad fell very ill and passed away suddenly, so a friend took me in and tried to find me a new home. She was a very well-intentioned good Samaritan, but she had more needy animals than she could handle. As a result, when I came to my foster mom, I was very sick and covered in fleas, so I needed some TLC. I'm also rather overweight because the poor lady free fed us whatever she could afford. After some good medicine and a nice long spa day, I am better than ever! It'll take a little while for the weight, but I've been loving this stuff they serve for dinner here!

I am a very YOUNG 5 years old. I love to play and I love to snuggle, I love to be with any humans at any time. I do have my claws but I only use the cardboard scratcher like a lady. I am perfect in the litterbox. I'm good with dogs and with other cats, no problems there. I am in need of a human who wants a constant companion, a lapcat or a bed warmer.

Won't you inquire about me today?

Notes from Home
Ching is settling in nicely. I am most happy to report that my son’s allergy has been a nonissue. At first there was some sniffles & sneezes but after we opened the door to the room and she wasn’t confined there hasn’t been the slightest hint of a reaction! She has really made my daughters room & bed her own. She sleeps with them every night and jumps up on the bed to snuggle in when they call her name. She is still on her diet and the vet said we can stop in any time to have her weighed. I figure we will give her a little more time and then take her in to check her progress. She isn’t quite comfortable with her canine sister Layla yet and lets her know when to back off. Layla is learning to be respectful of her space. So, overall things are going well and we look forward to our future with Ching as a part of our family.

MISS MINA
Nobody knows what happened to me before I was brought in as a stray to a high-kill rate shelter in May, but one thing is for certain: my days were numbered. But a SCR volunteer saw my beautiful face and big, hopeful eyes and knew that I didn't belong there. It wasn't long before I was moved into Foster Mom Jamie's place and boy is this great!

You see, I am a love factory. Give me a few pets on the head and I will give you all the love you could ever want. I purr continuously whenever someone is near me, I love to headbutt and cheek rub, and I will wind around your ankles non stop. I love to look deeply into your face while you kindly talk to me, be cause Momma Jamie thinks no one has ever talked to me this way before. Sometimes I cringe if you move your hand too fast like someone used to hit me, but I am not shy or reclusive. I love to come right up to you and show you how gentle I can be.

I am low-maintenance, have good eating and litter box habits. I have no health problems, but I am missing a toe on my back foot. I don't mind, I have others.

Its likely I had kittens earlier this year so I hope they are OK where ever they are. Now its time for me... do you need a little extra love in your life?e']

Notes from Home
Mina is doing great! We went to the vet yesterday and she purred the entire time, the vet couldn't believe it. He told us she was perfect, which of course we already knew. She's decided that she likes her new home and is spending her time chasing her tail and getting in as many leg-rubs as possible. She's even chatting with us a bit. Yesterday Matt played her some guitar. At first she was baffled and stared wide-eyed. It didn't take her long to realize that likes live music, and she started rubbing up against his legs while he was playing. We love our little purr machine, so thank you everyone who helped her get to us! - Emily & Matt

Update: 1/8/13
Mina's been with us for 6 months now! She rules the roost and has us trained very well. Her favorite Christmas gift, other than the new scratching posts, is the heated blanked she thinks we got for her. The house is full of the sound of a happy, purring meezer! We couldn't be happier and Mina is certainly enjoying life to the fullest. All thanks to the wonderful volunteers at the Siamese Cat Rescue Center! Happy New Year!
