MICKEY
Very loving that is what foster mom says. Very handsome, that is something else she says. What do you think? Ask about me. I would like to stay in Florida where it is warm.

Notes from Home
Mickey, formerly known as Shane, is called the Pretty Pretty Prince by his meowmy and the King of Trouble by my husband.
We recently were blessed with twin grandchildren and Mickey is, by far, the best of our five kitties with them. He loves the color pink and has two pink beds, for when he doesn't sleep with me. He's so clean and gentle, except when it comes to our smallest girl, Juliette....a tiny rescued lynx point.
We now live in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fl, and all of our pets seem to enjoy escaping the humidity of SoFla. Our screen porch backs up to a nature preserve so there is always something to keep the kitties busy.

OLIVER
If you have not already noticed in my photos - I do not have a tail. Foster mom says that I have Manx in my family somewhere as well as some Himmy since I am a little fluffy. I am a sweet loving boy and should fit anywhere that is ok with kitten policies.
Purrs, Oliver

Notes from Home
We lost this beautiful boy on February 26, 2014, after over 10 wonderful, happy (and what seems extremely short) years. Oh how we miss our little Wuffers. We believe Duffy was probably a bit older than the original estimate, probably 6-7 versus 4. Duffy had a wonderful spirit, and except for losing some weight, was himself until literally days before it was time... Although we had extensive tests done, including a Sonogram, Blood-work etc., the Vets could find no particular cause for his gradual decline, which we have to attribute to aging. [We had sent this information before, but not through the Siamese Rescue website.]

JOEY PONTOON
A gentle, sweet soul. Nothing not to like here. Wow. A kind soul, looking for a little compassion and understanding. Been moved around too many times, would like, just once, for someone to love me forever.

Notes from Home
Joey is doing fine. His UTI has cleared up and he's getting along OK with Charlie( not lovey-dovey but they spend time in various places together with no hostility. Joey is especially fond of sitting on the screened porch where he can chipmunks running around and birds and squirrels at the feeder. In the house he particularly likes sitting on his perch and looking out the front window. He is still sleeping in a separate room with Jack, next to Jack's face and on his pillow. He loves to do head butts and nose rubs, a real lover! I'll try to forward some pictures below.
6/2414-One year anniversary of our adoption of Joey Pontoon and he is doing fine. He lost a friend with the passing of Charlie, but gained a friend with our adoption of Sam from SCRC in March(we will upload some new pictures shortly). Joey has had a summer vacation in Ocean City and a winter vacation in the Poconos. Sam will join him on those trips this year. Joey still enjoys sitting on the screened porch watching chipmunks, birds, and squirrels. Though he is not a lap cat, he loves giving nose rubs and having his chin scratched. A very sweet personality!

TOBY
Howdy!
Here I am -- hangin' out and catching some rays.
I'm a hunk of burnin' love. I'm a BIG boy, and I've got BIG love to give. I know I look "manly," but I just love to snuggle and purr.
I'm doing all the right things, including using my litter box. The silly person who used to have me said I didn't use it when she let it get real dirty -- well, duh! Anyway, it turns out I had a food sensitivity issue. I've never had any litter box issues in my foster home. And my foster mom found a food that agrees with me --I'm doing well now. My poop is great!
I am in heaven when I have my foster mom all to myself! I follow her around like a dog. But I'm not fond of other cats - or at least not 4 of them - like my foster mom has. It's not that we fight, but the males get on my nerves. Part of the problem may be that I don't have any front claws and the resident cats do -- I feel naked.
Although I'm doing much better after a couple weeks with all of my foster mom's cats, the ideal home for me would be with one or more humans who can be with me a lot and would love to have me close to them much of the time. I may be OK with one other cat - probably a laidback lady - as long as I get lots of attention from my purrson(s).
I'd really like to find a forever home where I can love and be loved.

Notes from Home
Toby joined our family 3 years ago! He is such a sweet and loving baby! Over the last year, we have had some extreme changes in out lives: I lost my 15 yr old dog and my 9 yr old dog. Losing Casey (my 15 yr old dog) was incredibly difficult! She passed away at home very peacefully as she slept in my arms. Toby was such a great comfort to me Casey and my other dog Ernie. 1 month later Ernie was diagnosed w lung cancer (very suddenly and unexpectedly) the next two months were horrifying as I watched the cancer consume my baby and eventually had to put him to sleep. Toby was so attached to Ernie from day one... So he really stuck w Ernie and I'd often look over to see him snuggling up w Ernie!! Toby quickly took over Ernie's little habits! The final change came w my new addition of my lab Madeline that I rescued last June. These two have been inseparable since day one. I have attached a pic of them laying outside. As I get Madeline to the back door to go out.... There's toby ready for his leash to go out w her!!
Toby has made everything a bit easier through all of these loses! His little happy face hat comes running to me as I open the door, he is the one that wakes me up each morning; he chats w me- it cracks me up with his little sweet voice on this big boy!! Toby is such a baby! I love him more and more each day! I knew from day one he was a perfect fit, but I had no idea that he would become such a rock for our family! Those big blue eyes make my heart melt!! His sweet little purrs as he curls up next to me to go to sleep each night.
I can't thank you enough for bringing Toby to my family! He is such an amazing cat with a personality as big as Texas!! I tell him each day how lucky I am to be his mom!! ;) I love him more and more each and every day! He's my big smushy man!!

LOUISE
First Prize: Most Promise
I've arrived! I mean, I finally have it figured out! You see, if you sit under the cage all day, nothing much happens. Life passes you by and all you get to see is feet. So I took a chance. Out I came, meowing in my petite 6 pound voice. And hey, it worked! I got tons of attention, and now I've got it figured out! You meow, you follow someone around, and eventually they sit down and let you climb on their lap and purr and purr and purr! So that's what I'm doing these days, and if you're looking for a petite sealy gal with a purrsonality of gold, that would be me!

Notes from Home
Hi everyone at SRC,
I already have my appointments with my doctor and my yearly visit with my tooth doctor . Right now I am an only kitty because my brother passed away. Mommy and Daddy think they will wait to add a bro or sis because I am very happy as a one and only! I can boss my Daddy and Mommy around without interference. I can stare my Daddy into jumping up and checking my food, I play hide and seek behind the shower curtain with mommy and jump out at her, I plop down in front of the door so they have to step over me to go out, and purr and purr.
I know they love me lots because even though I have cat scratches my favorite places are their chairs and sofa.
I want to thank you for taking care of me until I could find my forever home. My mommy and daddy think all of you are the best.
Love,
Loulou
P.s. I was renamed Loulou after my grandma Lucile! My mommy' mom. She thought I was very special too!
