BETTY
Just arrived today and all foster meowm and the teen bean can say about me is Wow, your beautiful! *Blush* Since those two are so caught up in looks I guess I'll have to be the one to tell you a little about myself.
I'm a little girl and very friendly. I love to be held and cuddled close. I also like to talk quite a bit. Now don't worry, I'm not loud or obnoxious or anything like that, I just have a lot to talk about. I have lived with another cat before, foster meowm and I think that I'd probably like to do that again.
Foster meowm tells me tomorrow I get to spend the day at the kitty spa getting all prettied up and then I'm having some glamour shots taken. Check back soon and tell me what you think about them.

Update 6/30/05: I'm not really much of a lap cat but I always want to be right with you. Sleeping close to your side in bed, sitting close to you while your sitting, following alongside of you as you go about your way and if your doing anything and I mean anything, I'm always more than willing to "help" you with it :o)

Betty is doing wonderful! She is a chatty little cat and tries to rule the roost here. She even likes to sit on my lap now.
Betty has become quite the little social kitty! She greets everyone who comes in and is still a chatty girl. She now lets me pick her up and has become quite the lap sitter too.
She is also a kleptomaniac, squirreling away anything small she can find. Thank goodness I know her hiding places so I can find my stuff. lol

Notes from Home
We knew it was going to be a great match, when on the ride home from picking Deandra up, she was curled up in the front of her carrier to be as close to us as possible. When we got her home, she went right to explore her new home and her new family. She is really happy, cuddling and purring all the time. She's a super sweet cat and we couldn't be happier to have her in our family.
A little over a month later, and we couldn't imagine life without our little girl. She's the sweetest and still loves cuddling and giving head butts. Now that's she's a little more comfortable, she's super playful. She seems right at home, following us from room to room. She's such a great addition to our family!
Deandra's been with us a year now, and it feels like she's been here forever. She's taken up bird watching, sunbathing, and power napping as hobbies, and she's excellent at both! But her favorite thing to do is definitely cuddling. We're all healthy and happy.

7/16/13 I want to thank every one who had a hand in bringing Serge to me. It was a 13 hour trip for him and he arrived full of good humor. I feel like he has been here forever. He talks, so I am looking forward to our political discussions. What an amazing organization. Watching the meezer express at work was awesome. 1/13/14 Serge is now known as sache aka Versace aka fursace.He is a terrific. I do think he is a tonkanese. Half Burmese half siamese. He's probably much older than 8 however. I think he was depressed when he first got here, I know he had a lot of losses. Do you know what his real name was? Anyhow he is doing just great now. He charms everyone with his sweet, loving nature. He relates to men and loves scrambled eggs. He has definitely chosen me...he really does't like other cats invading his space. I don't do computers well, but i will try to be more communicative in the future. Thank you for getting sache to me...it is a very happy match. Susan
7/13/14 Please forgive my lack of communication I have a terrible time with computers. Serge, now known as satchi, is not doing well. He is the most adorable kitty and very much loved, but he is in renal failure. Only 25 per cent of his kidneys are working. He started really losing weight about a month ago. I tried lots of deferent foods to no Avail. I am going to inject fluids starting today. Satchi has been very happy here. He is so vocally expressive that I forget he is a cat. I love him dearly and so we are going day by day. I will really miss our long conversations. Say a prayer for him. His only bad habit? He will sometimes bite my toe! Susan

BRIE
FAMILY CAT, FAMILY CAT, FAMILY CAT
There was a big party today and I bribed one of the kids to let me out. I loved all the people, kitty kisses everywhere. I even played in the wrapping paper with the big cat who lives here. I did some exploring, but I found foster mum everytime she called me. I don't think I have ever purred so much.
I am finally over the shelter cold, but I haven't figured out what that little thing following me is all about. I keep trying to attack it and make it leave me alone. Sometimes I hurt it and we need to make it heal over again. I don't know where my lovely long tail went, but this little stub can't be mine.
Everybody thinks it was funny that I like to start conversations with a "hiss, hiss, growl", but I'm so tiny, I need to make you think I'm fierce.
I am a little bit over a year old, so I probably won't get much bigger. Foster mum thinks I will look really good when I reach 6-7 pounds.
We will need a couple more days to assess how she is doing post-surgery for the removal of most of her tail (a very long story and a remaining 2" bobtail), and she still has some sneezes.

Notes from Home
Brie is doing great.. She is constantly entertaining us with her robust energy. She is a great bug hunter, so we have no issues with bugs in the house. She loves her play tunnel as you can see in the picture, and she makes our older cat Chia get his exercise if he likes it or not. We have had no issues with her at all from the get go. Brie is a great addition to our family.

DANICA
Foster mom says I must have wanted to be a race-car driver, but I was little and nobody told me that hiding in the engine of a car wasn't the best way to get to the Indy 500.
When the car took off I held on as long as I could, but when I fell out it looked like I was going straight from the highway to the Rainbow Bridge. Lucky for me my first Rescue Angels saw me lying in the road and scooped me up off the pavement before I got squished. They rushed me to the vet and my second set of Rescue Angels there worked really hard to patch up all my ouchies so now I am good as new again.
Once I got well, I took over the whole vet clinic and won everybody's hearts, playing and purring and cuddling and doing backflips and being carried around in people's coat pockets. They knew there had to be a really special home for a sweetheart like me out there somewhere so they got me to Siamese Rescue and - well, here I am!
Foster mom says the only car rides I'm going to take from now on will be INSIDE the car on the way to my very own furever home - could that be with you? Ask about me now!

7/31/11
Danica has been here 3 weeks and has made herself completely at home. She adores her
new brothers and they truly love her. She alternates between them when choosing
a playmate and they are both so gentle with her. They seem to take their responsibilities very
seriously and go running when they hear her cry out. She seems to be a very balanced, sensible kitten, playful, adventuresome, sweet and loving. She of course has to check out everything and
a few times when I couldn't find her I just went to the last door or cabinet that I opened and there she was!
She is growing so fast! On the 20th she weighed in at 4.6 pounds and on the 28th when she went
for her Rabies Vacination she was 5 pounds. She is very long and slender and is going to grow up to be absolutely elegant. She really has been so well behaved. So far no "kitten" damage. Ha Ha. I'm sure it's coming.
I don't know how I got so lucky but I truly hit the jackpot for the third time adopting this little girl
from Siamese Rescue.

Danica is growing and growing! She is just the most darling sweet little girl. Now that she's more settled in she's becoming more cuddly with me. She was just so busy with Toby and Aries. She
still adores her brothers and they wrestle and play, but she's decided she likes my pets and kisses
as well. She has also decided she is entitled to some of my dinner as well as her own. She loves
chicken and ice cream, (with whip cream)!

PURRINCESS DANICA!
Danica continues to march in her own parade! She will decline to come for meals if she is napping and will insist on HER meals when SHE is ready. She is completely unperturbed by any activity occurring and will hardly open her eyes to observe. I guess that means she feels safe and secure. She will yell at me if I am "late", (according to HER schedule), going to bed as that is HER favorite time to be stroked and petted while she sucks her tail. lol She LOVES HER Tobybear and will meow very loudly when seeking him out. She plays with Aries, Toby and Arwen indiscriminately, but will yelp if they get too rowdy. She's like the princess and the pea! Everything has to be to HER liking. She seems to love her new home, especially the fireplace on cold winter nights.
From a TINY baby who fell out of a car engine in TN, (and spent two weeks at the vet with a concussion), she has grown into a stunningly beautiful young cat. She is a true BLUE with a laid back and sweet purrsonality and a diamond tiara on her head!

CHESTER
Hi - it's Hunter. Just like my brother, Chase, I hae an "active " name. I love to "hunt" furry mice, balls and especially my brother, Chase. Mama Katie says I'm a good "hunter" because I always do the "tiger in the grass bottom wiggle" when I go hunting. I'm bigger than my brother, but I do protect him, so we will need to go home together. I am the "brave hunter" and he depends on me particularly when he gets scared.
PLEASE - only inquire if you are in our transport area. I don't like to ride in a carrier very much and broke off a tooth trying to chew my way out of the carrier on our short trip to Hotel delShue.

Notes from Home
July 8, 2014: I had the kittens to my vet last week. She said before she saw them that she wondered why I was adopting kittens with an URI but after she saw them, she understood! They are doing well - we decided to hold off on the last distemper shot for another month to see if they get less snotty and I got the last deworming stuff. Both of them have discovered the cat tunnel and are spending lots of time watching birds on the porch, realizing there is a screen between them and the birds. It’s hilarious. Chase has become a little lover boy while Chester is too much of a jumping bean to want to be held for very long. They are wonderful.
