HONEY
I was a little shy when I first arrived now I am wanting the attention foster meowmy is giving me. I love scritches and those temptation treats, you know those with milk in them?!?!

Ask about both my brother and I as we love to play and if you have stairs in your home, even better because we both play fetch, sit and lay down on command.

Honey is also doing very well! She is a lot more skittish, as everyone that helped her knows, but she is warming up well. She is so much more comfortable around the house and doesn't try to hide all the time. She actually slept in bed with me and my boyfriend last night! Surprisingly to me as well, My boyfriend's parents came over to visit and she actually came out to say HI to everyone... I wasn't sure if she would ever come out to greet guests since she seems so much more shy then her brother. She is very playful and is not afraid to ask for a belly rub when she thinks she needs one! She still has her little thin patches of hair but they seem to be getting better. I trust that the more she adjusts the better they will get. I absolutely LOVE these two!!! They are a very sweet and loving pair. They are also both very well behaved which was also a pleasant surprise! I am so grateful I adopted them! We are all doing very well together! I wanted to thank everyone that helped add Bear and Honey to our wonderful little family.

SPENSER
Oh boy oh boy. Don't tell anyone but I let foster mom rub my belly, and it felt pretty good! Me and my sister Lola just came back into rescue. We have been together since we were kittens, but things just didn't work out where we went to live. So here we are again, looking for love, and some chow, and some kind hands, and a place for us to be ourselves. We're both pretty shy, so you'll need to be patient with us. Are you that special person?

Notes from Home
Spenser has been with us 2 weeks now. Oh how cute he is!!!!! He spends a good deal of time under our bed, but he comes out to greet us in the mornings and allows us to pet him. He is becoming less shy every day. He loves to play with Lola at night. He is eating well and uses the litter box regularly. We love his cute little personality. We look forward to spending more time with him when he is ready. We think he is adorable.

Spenser has been with us a month now. He is doing great. He greets me when I get out of bed by meowing and rubbing around my legs. He wants to be petted and I like petting him. He plays with Lola and they run through the house. Sounds like small horses! Spenser is doing just fine and seems happy with us. He might turn into a "lap kittie" yet. He and Lola both sleep with us on our bed sometimes. We love having them with us. Spenser will keep his name too! It fits him well!

Spenser has been with us for 2 months now. We think he is adorable. He meows when he is hungry, and has taken to sleeping in Allen's recliner during the day. He slept on the bed the whole night last night with his sister, Lola and Sherry. He loves to roam the house and explore things. He is playful and loves to play with Lola. We are so happy to have him.

02/21/14 - Wow, it doesn't seem possible that Spenser has been with us over 6 months now. What a sweet cat he is! He has adapted to us so well. He loves to sit on his condo at the window and look out. He loves the feel of the sun coming in on him. He doesn't hide under the bed anymore, unless a stranger comes in the house. He meows in the morning until I give him a tablespoon or two of milk. He rubs up against us when we feed him, as if to say thank you! For the last week now, he has gotten up on Allen's lap and laid down to sleep. That sure tickled Allen. A month ago, he was having trouble breathing, so we took him to the vet. They did a chest x-ray and discovered he had asthma. They gave him 2 shots and meds to go home with. They said if we had scented litter, to get rid of it and see what happens. Well, lo and behold, the very next day after we put in unscented litter, he was breathing just fine! He loves to play with his sister, Lola, and seems to be very much at home with us. We are so glad to have him.

08/2414 - Time sure does fly by! Spenser has been with us one year this month! What a little sweetie he is. He now gets up in Sherry's chair when Lola isn't there and sits by her while we watch t.v. His allergies are under control and he is healthy and beautiful. Spenser has such a cute little face. He now likes to be petted by us both. He comes to the living room or kitchen late at night and rubs around Allen's legs to be petted. He still loves just a little milk in the morning, and eats well. He uses the litter box consistently. He is no trouble at all. We enjoy watching him play with his toys or with Lola. Sometimes, he and his sister, Lola will sit on their condos and look out the front door at the birds. We are so very please to have Spenser. He is a wonderful companion.

LOLA
I'm a deep, dark sealy girl, and me and my brother Spenser are just getting used to this new hotel we're staying at. But we have our things, so it smells like us. So it must not be too bad.

Spenser and I were adopted together when we were kittens, but it just didn't work out, so here we are again looking for love. We were strays when we were kittens, and so we're not very trustful sometimes. Can you be patient with us while we keep learning that people are good? We love each other, so we want to stick together.

Notes from Home
Lola Welsh has been with us for 2 weeks now. She has gone from hiding under our bed to greeting each of us in the morning and spending time with us during the day. She loves to be petted when she is in the mood. She is eating well, using her litter box and playing hardy with Spenser at night. We are more than pleased with Lola and are looking forward to many fun surprises. She is well behaved and beautiful.

Lola has been with us for a month now. She is not as shy as before and is out and about daily. She likes to play and run through the house. The loves to be petted more often now and likes to lay on a red blanket we have. She almost got up in Sherry's lap the other day. Everything is going fine. Lola and Spenser seem happy and love playing together. We are not changing Lola's name. We like her name.

We have had Lola for 2 months now, and we couldn't be happier. She roams the house at ease, and sleeps at the front door where she can look out, or in Sherry's recliner. She now sleeps on our bed at night. She is a beautiful cat and we are so glad we found her.

02/21/14 - Wow, it is so hard to believe that Lola has been with us over 6 months now! We love her so much! She has taken to Sherry and follows her around the house. She likes to sit beside Sherry in the recliner. We have never heard her meow, but she makes a chirping sound when she get into our chair. She likes to sit on her condo and look out the window when the sun is shining. She likes to sleep in between Allen and Sherry at night. She laid on Sherry's lap for the first time last night. She is healthy and a beautiful cat, indeed. We love having her and watching her play with her brother, Spenser. We are so thankful to have them both.

082414 - Time is sure flying by! We have had Lola one year this month! We have both fallen in love with her and enjoy her company so much. Lola now chirps when she sees birds outside the front door. She chirps when she jumps up in Sherry's chair to lay down by Sherry. Whenever we go to bed, Lola follows us to the bedroom and jumps up on the bed. She likes to lay between us and be petted by us both. When Allen is working at night, Lola sleeps with Sherry by Allen's pillow all night. She is much more relaxed with us and lets us pet her frequently. When Allen is up late at night, Lola comes out to the living room or kitchen and rubs all around his legs to be petted. She is healthy and beautiful. We love to watch her play with her toys, as she gets very verbal, so to speak! She plays with her brother Spenser on a daily basis. They get along so well. She uses the litter box completely and is no trouble at all. We are so very happy to have Lola!

SUSHI
Yes, sister Ling Ling is right. I do like to chat, but I wouldnt call myself loud! And Im quicker to explore than she is, and like to wander around and check things out. And that includes people once Ive settled in Im quick to make friends with everyone I meet. Were both proper ladies in the litter box (was that even necessary to ask??). We are using the cat trees for our claws. We spend lots of time together, and sleep together. We both love laps, and need a new home to call our own. Weve been well loved kitties our entire lives. We both just had our senior wellness panels done, and we are in very good shape for our age. We are past the curtain climbing, crazed kitten stage, and prefer the comfort of a lap or laps to running wildly through the house. Catnip toys are good though, as is a nice can of Fancy Feast! If you need a very lovely pair of lap warmers, then be sure to ask about us. Foster mom will be happy to send a copy of our bloodwork results to you and your vet. Need the perfect pair of lovely sisters? Then why havent you asked about us?

Notes from Home
Hello Everyone from me, Sushi! Did Ling Ling tell you how much I like this new home? We both are so happy to be here and have so many new friends who come by to admire us! Even our new vet, Lynne, was so impressed with our svelte and beautiful selves that she picked us right up and gave us kisses!
Ling Lind and I LOVE our new Millie beds and the nice kitty heating pads that go underneath. Mom sometimes finds us gazing out the window at all the snow, but mostly we are so cozy together in one bed, that we are happy to stay there unless FOOD is part of the moment! We love both our old and our new toys too. Thank you SCRC crafters, for all the love that went into making them for us! Jackie did such a good job fostering us that we are taking all the changes in our lives in stride! THANK YOU SCRC!

Mar 22: My Dad is sitting at his desk doing taxes and I am sitting in the window watching the snow come down, yet again. Does it ever become spring here in Vermont? Ling Ling and I are doing super here and we purr a lot these days! We are getting to know new family members and finding new toys to play with too. Our crocheted wands and mice are fun but we like it best when Mom & Dad love us up! Hello to all of our fosters and friends who helped find this new Vermont home. This is a great place to retire, and we like our new Mom & Dad! Happy springtime to everyone!

April 9: Hello hello! I am now 13 years old and proud of it! Ling Ling and I still stick together like glue. We still share a Millie bed and eat off the same dish. Mom is experimenting with new flavors of Fancy Feast, some of which are yummy, but not every one. We still get hissy when some of the cats and the collies are around, but we are getting used to it. Our new play structure is wonderful and we so enjoy food time and especially nap time in the sunshine! Hugs and purrs to everyone and Happy Springtime to All!

August 23: Hi to everyone! I am so happy to be here in Vermont! The food is great, the loving is super, and the coat brushings are tolerable. Mom & Dad keep our claws trimmed so we can walk on the looped carpet OK. It is hard to believe we two ladies have been here 6 months already! We spend most of our days enjoying our millie bed to the max. The new litter, Clump & Seal, works wonderfully and the "stinkies" get scooped out twice a day, so all is good these days. Mom says the expensive litter is worth the high price.... it is so good! And of course we two ladies "are worth very penny," she says.
I, Sushi, look right into Mom's eyes when she is loving me, but I am also happy when she puts me down. That Ling Ling sister of mine rubs legs and pushes into her hands, but not me! I have turned into the conservative of the two of us! But that is OK because Mom knows I have a touch of arthritis, .......so I get medicine on some rainy days when I get a bit stiff, just like my Mom. She is really tuned into my joint pains, and that is good. All told, I am a happy sweetie pie who is so glad to have my pal Ling Ling here too!

LING LING
Need a ready-made family? Then look no further. My sister Sushi and I are just what you are looking for. We have been together since kittenhood, and are very attached to each other. We sleep together, eat together and need to stay together. She is bolder than I am and a bit *loud* if you ask me. She seems to always have quite a bit to say, and likes to tell you all about her day. Me? Im a bit quieter, and a little slower to warm up, but we are both very very friendly girls. And pretty ones, too. At first we are hard to tell apart, but not for long. Im smaller and lighter, and have the cutest white dot under my nose! And now since Im the quiet one, Ill let Sushi take over.

Hi Everyone! Sushi and I are happy to say that we LOVE our new home up here in central Vermont! We get lots of loving and we purr up a storm for everyone! We are getting to meet our kitty and doggie housemates soon, one at a time, we are told. It will also be nice to meet and greet everyone and check out all the new perches and toys in this old house! Joe & Dee and all their friends agree that we are the LOVELIEST PAIR of older ladies they have ever seen! It is so great to be a Vermonter now!

March 22: I am doing just great in this big house with so many new friends to check out! Mom is putting up a new pole with platforms and a condo to play in. I can't wait! Sushi and I have a lot of cuddle time in our Millie beds that have heaters underneath, so we are enjoying our new spaces. The food is good too. Mom buys Fancy Feast by the case these days!

April 9: Both Sushi and I continue to do just fine here in Vermont! I am turning into a real lovebug.....doing the bunny sit-up pose in order to get even more attention! Yes, Mom has figured out I really like to have my ears rubbed so I am happy happy happy!
Sushi got a birthday card from the vet when she turned 13. Of course I got to 13 last year so I am still the senior lady around here! Wish I got more treats because of it!

August 23: Wow! Has it really been 6 months already? I, Ling Ling, am very much having a good time and enjoying life here in Vermont. Mom just got us a new carpeted fun tree with a couple platforms and cozy spots. I am feeling great and still go to Mom & Pops for rubs and lovin' whenever I feel the need.
Sushi and I still share the same Millie bed even though there are plenty other places we can bed down!
And yes, I rub my mom's legs and push up into her hands all the time! Thanks to everyone who helped us become Vermonters! We both are doing GREAT!

Sid is our very shy loving and vocal boy! I tend to think he had to fight for attention due to his older sister! A true lover and never a fighter! A gentleman even at feeding time! Our lap kitty the moment anyone sits down and if you don't invite him soon enough he will speak and let you know he's coming! Again like his sister he had not slept in a bed! An experience for certain our Sid likes to be the center of attention and steals the covers! Amazing two kittens and an amazing rescue center!

I may be just the tiniest bit shyer than my brother Oren, but I sure do love to play and explore the foster room. And foster mom had a difficult time getting my picture as I really like to be busy checking everything out. I won't be ready to go home until early August, but I think I am worth the wait.

Our Sophie! All girl...knows how to bat those baby blue eyes and get anything she wants! A flirtatious girl but knows right away I am the person in charge and she gives me unconditional love! Sophie had not slept in the bed with anyone and I was unsure how that would go...the plan was to wait a week! Sophie had her own plan and three nights in she claimed her spot! Sophie is our snuggler! I can't thank everyone enough!!! A wonderful rescue center!!!

Notes from Home
Day 1 when we got Taylor we were so happy, she adjusted to her new surroundings very nicely. Will give an update very soon on her pictures ,she has a new feather that she really enjoys playing with. She will do anything to get attention. She is just a little cutie. :

Taylor has been doing great with her eating and litter box habits. Also, I found a little stuffed animal in my room and Taylor found it and she loved it ,she has been playing with it from day 1. Taylor just loves her attention. And just a little reminder Taylor's favorite thing to do is to take her little stuffed animal and throw it up in the air and when it comes down she grabs it with her mouth ,and then she does it all over again!

Today Taylor had a lot of fun this morning she got up with me and followed me around my room. I can really tell she is getting used to us that is what I would call a thumbs up. And once in a great while when Taylor does a good trick with her toys or just did a good job she gets a treat. She really loves her treats. Also, Taylor knows when to go to bed because when I go she goes to bed and, that is good because that is our routine our bed time is at least 9:30 PM but when she go's to sleep with me she is down for the night.

Today Taylor was good I came home from school and she greeted me at the door. She is a cutie pie she loves to be loved by her new owners. But she also, likes to be independent a lot but don't forget she loves to be loved a lot too! She is now getting used to her new home and getting to like wear she is . I can tell because she follows me every wear in the house most of the time. She can't wonder the house just yet she needs to no the rules and ground rules but mostly the won that is going to be important is no scratching or climbing high shelves.

Also, today i have seen she has ate a lot of food today she loves her food. I know her favorite kind it is the party kitty mix. That is her favorite , I know because she sits there and munches on them for a long time but I don't like to give her a lot so she don't get a sick tummy.

Me , and my mom had gotten Taylor a blanket she is addicted to it . When ever she wants to go to sleep she takes her blanket grabs it by her mouth and drags it up on the bed and goes to sleep with it. She also takes her stuffed animal Flipper because like i said earlier she flips it up in the air It is so funny when she does that. I LOVE TAYLOR thank you a lot Siamesecatrescue center you made the rest of our lives filled with happiness ,also a shout out to Mrs. Peggy, and Mrs. Siri. you guys are awesome .Thank you for this opportunity this was a very good experience.

So, yesterday at the vet she got a very good report , but she did have a little cold in her eye , and she was sneezing a lot. But they gave us medicine for her eyes and for her sneezing they said she would be better in 7 days so that was good news but over all she was a healthy 6 month Siamese cat , her heart beat was normal and healthy too . She was very well mannered at the vet also. Good job Taylor.

Go, and check out Taylor's pictures and look at the first one it is sooooo funny!!!!!!! :)

This morning was very strange with Taylor she got up at 4:00 am in the morning throwing her toys every where it scared me when I woke up I didn't see her at first but sure did hear her playing with her toys. But there she was going crazy playing in the morning. I got up and said it is only 4:00 in the morning you can play when it gets to be 7:00 Taylor. And she laid down hear we go again five minutes later she doing it again I can't get mad at her she is a little cutie even sometimes it just slides off my back because I can't get over how wonderful Taylor is but she stop and went to sleep when it was 7:00 that was funny.

So, after all of that Taylor has just now woken up she took another nap after 1:00 it is now 2:36. And she was also was just down stairs exploring but that didn't last long she ran right back up into my room. But that's good because that lets you know she feels safe up there with you. And plus she knows her food , water , litter box, hair brush, and toys are up there and other stuff she likes to root in.

And she is also , now 7 months my baby is growing on me already .

Now Taylor would like to say a few things to everyone

I love my new forever home everyone it is so much fun to be here . I like it here because I get to do what I want (well most of the time at least). :)

Taylor says thank you Siamesecatrescuecenter for letting me go home with Beverly and Justus.

I sure have blossomed a lot since the first day. Because I feel really welcome to be here , it is a lot of fun too be honest , my favorite part of the day is to be able to go to sleep with my mommy Justus. She is a wonderful mom.

And I am so happy I am now 7 months now and yes I am getting to be a big girl

Taylor was a bundle of joy this morning she got up with me and I gave her some food , and I went down stair and got mine that little girl comes first before me !!!!!!

Taylor is sooo funny she jumps up so heigh. At least as tall as me almost.Im 5''2 she jumps up at least 4''9 it is hilarious. Taylor you are the best cat as long as you don't snag my good shirts. Just playing if Taylor did I know she would say sorry with a soft purr. But it wouldn't matter. I don't think she would do that to be mean or any thing.

Taylor you are the best cat ever . Also Taylor will have more pictures up today or tomorrow.

From:Taylor I love my new home I am now the boss of the house. Because I can go wear ever I want . It is fun to play hide and seek because I can fit in small places wear my mommy can't .

Just got Taylors's new pictures uploaded she is such a cutie go check them out.

Taylor I just want to let you now you are wonderful. This morning she gave me a kiss on the nose, when she dose that it means get up it is time for her meow mix.

uploading even more pictures of Taylor soon maybe today or tomorrow. Hope you like her pictures.

Hi this is Taylor or short for my name Taylor would be Tay Tay if you would like to call me that what ever is fine. Because as long as you love me everyone everything will be fine , well I hope. Just playing. I just wanted to say hi to everyone on Siamese cat rescue center. I have been having a lot of fun here I love my room where my toys are where I get to play I have so many toys here and a lot of love put into this house and I hope that they know I am saying this to you. I just wanted to say I love my forever home. !!!!! From Taylor.

Taylor has been wonderful she is a very healthy Siamese cat . She eats a good amount of food each day . She gets food when ever we get food . She is now able to run around , she is actually right here next to me on the chair watching the screen of me typing. She loves to see things move. Here eyes just go back and fourth. And when we go up stairs , every thing is mostly upstairs but we are going to bring some down but I don't want to disturb here things and where she is used to them to being like her litter box for example .Well this is a good update on Taylor

There will be more up soon of this little wise Kitty Taylor. !!!!

It is know summer and Taylor has been laying in the sun getting her kitty tan and does she looks sassy when she is done. Taylor has been doing so good with every thing she is awesome i am so glad i picked her out i just new she was the one. Time to get her out of the sun don't want her furrr to turn brown , she is just sitting there know injoying it. !!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TAYLOR , LOVE YOU. She is growing up so fast . She is becoming a beautiful cat. But im going to tell you some new things about her now.

-she is an early morning riser !!
-she loves to cuddle and get under the covers when it is cold !!!
-she likes to lay in the sun !!!
-And most important is that Taylor like to get bath's !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The story of bath time every time im in the shower she stands there and looks like I want to get in but I don't want to get in the bath tub. So won day I was making the bath and she jumped in. So I was like I need to get some cat shampoo and I did. I got the hair ball control one and she loved it. And I love how good she smells so it works both ways. Know she loves baths every time she gets stinky , but when she is in the bath we are very carful and keep a good eye on her. I gave her a bath a couple days ago, and I put some of her toys in there to play after I have rinsed the shampoo off but I don't let her playing there to long she stats to splatter water every where . Happy birthday you are one years old and by the way we got her some treats and I taught her to do a back flip ,sit , lay down, fetch, roll over and its fun when we do that together we get a close bond. Also at night she likes to bounce from my moms room to mine it funny but cute. Thanks Siamesecatrescuecenter for this beautiful most loving cat we are blessed the first day it was like we she hasn't seen us in a thousand year but it was like she already new us. From , Justus , Beverly and most of all are pride and joy Taylor.

Notes from Home
Jesse is doing wonderfully. His sisters have not been as accepting as I would have liked, but he holds his own and is a loving and playful man of the house. They are co-habitating now and I am hopeful that they will soon be able to snuggle up all together, but if not then that works too. Jesse is truly the sweetest little boy and I am lucky to have found him :)

Jan 2011 - Jesse continues to be a joy! He and Kiki and getting along well and Lola is still playing hard to get (every once in a while I catch them next to each other though). Life is good :)

It's hard to believe that Jesse has not always been here...he is such a love bug! Lola doesn't lash out at him anymore and has allowed him to sleep in here spot on the back of my chair when she is not in it! They are not destined to be lifelong friends, but are co-habitating nicely. Kiki and Jesse kiss all the time and play from time to time. This sweet guy has calmed these beasts!!

August 18, 2011 - I can't imagine that it has only been a year! It feels like so much longer. Jesse still tries to love his sisters more than they love him and it really is sweet. He is a wonderful little boy! His coat has become so smooth and silky after being on his royal canin diet for a year now - it is unbelievable! He had his vet visit earlier this month and passed with flying colors - the doctor even said that the heart murmur she heard when he first came sounded like it was much quieter and less noticeable due to his reduced stress. He loves to watch the squirrel and birds outside the window on the deck and can jump really high when they come near the screen. Love him to pieces :)

August 19, 2012 - I can't believe that it's been a year since I wrote the last update! Jesse is the best cat! He is super loving and handsome and really rolls with the punches - especially the ones he gets from his sisters. We don't have a lot of fighting going on, but little scuffles now and again are probably expected! He went to the Vet a couple weeks ago and is doing great! The heart murmur is still low grade and we have managed to ward off a dental cleaning by using Periosupport in his food :)
I have nicknamed him Bugs because he loves to sit at the screen door and jump at the bugs on the other side...a few weeks ago he jumped 5 feet in the air! He enjoyed his very own jar of chicken baby food to celebrate his anniversary! Thanks to everyone and Mary for this great great guy who I love so much!

August 19, 2013 - A lot has happened in the last year...we moved! From our beautiful NH neighborhood to the City of Buffalo, NY! I was worried that Jesse would be unhappy, but this guy is the happiest cat I know! I got him a window feeder and it took almost the whole year for birds to start coming to it, but now that they do he is over the moon! Sits and watches them for hours behind the 2 way mirror that is the back of the feeder. He continues to co-exist with Lola and Kiki - I've even seen Kiki give him a kiss, but no snuggling...he went to the vet last month and was given a clean bill of health! Even his teeth are looking great >^..^< I love this guy!!!

August 19, 2014 - We are still loving city life in Buffalo! We moved to a larger apartment with 2 floors and Jesse and his sisters are happy to have stairs again! Still co-habitating! Jesse did get another kiss on his head from Kiki last week; Lola still hisses and walks away…oh well! Jesse is still the sweetest cat I have ever met - he loves everybody and is not selfish with sharing head-butts with whoever it is that comes over >^..^< My niece and nephew love him so very much! They are always asking "where's Jesse?" when I go visit…thanks again to Mary for taking care of this wonderful guy so that I was able to find him and bring him home! Life wouldn't be the same without him!

OLIVE
Olive and Benny (Va10054) are a bonded pair that will need to be adopted together. Olive likes to be petted and will jump up on your lap for attention. She will not attempt to flee when you pick her up and will start to softly purr while being petted. When you stop petting her she will jump down and run to Benny's side. She will sleep curled up with Benny and is the more confident of the two cats. Olive tends to be talkative when I enter the foster room as if scolding me for not being there sooner to stroke her back.

They will be ready to leave Casa Kuck at the end of June or the beginning of July after they both have dental work done. I would be happy to have you visit them at my home when you become first in line

Notes from Home
Olive (and her brother Benny) arrived safely to their new home in New Hampshire. It only took her (them) about 6 hours to find my lap for cuddles, chin scratches and purrs. Olive has continued to be a comfort for Benny, although initially he explored a bit farther "afield". They have indeed taken over the house and adopted me as their "domestic staff"! Olive has established herself as the queen of the manor.

We have been together for a month, but to see Olive and Benny, you would think it has been FOREVER. If one finds a spot next to, ot ON, me in my recliner, the other won't be far behind, They have even begun burrowing under the blankets to cuddle on these cool New Hampshire evenings.
