I was rescued from a neglectful situation and after a legal hold for what seemed like forever, I found my way to Siamese Cat Rescue.

I'm a vocal, loving gal, with a good appetite and a great litter box habits. I've never been to a vet, so I need to get all my vetting done before I can go home, which should be around the first week of November. I did live with a boy cat, so another cat in the home would probably be ok. I'll let you know that for sure once my isolation time is up and I can meet the other kitties here.

Foster Notes

"All I need is love" is my theme song. Nothing makes me happier than a lap to snuggle on, and I'm not shy about letting you know it. I like all people, friendly dogs, and I really want to like other cats, even when they hiss at me. I'm a petite girl, but with a great big heart.

Suki and I are doing just great. ...I am very happy with her...When I first bought her home she was insistent on a 530 am wake up call.
Now she's decided no longer she needs to do that and I have to set my own alarm clock. .lol
She is just now learning not to use claws on my pant legs...thank goodness.Everyone who has met her has fallen in love with her to..
As I have. Suki has her forever home with me...always

Whoa ... my adoption fell through so I'm back on the available pages. Foster Mom thought I was going to be an 'only' so didn't try to integrate me. But I'm walking around getting to know the residents here. Click on me if you're interested!

(I was found hanging around Soprano's Bar in Melbourne, Florida. For sure, you could give me a better name!)
Name: Tony

(FKA Soprano)

ID#: VA11386
Location:  Florida
Sex: male
Current Age: 2 Yrs
Declawed: no
Points: Seal
DateIn: 03/26/16
Adopted: 06/05/16

Foster: Donna

Notes from Home
This morning Tony was acting lethargic and had some mild diarrhea over night. He did not eat all his food. We took him to the vet immediately and they tested his stool and discovered that he still had hook worm. The vet reviewed his health record and felt there was a problem with the timing of the medicine he had received for this from the vet in Florida. She treated him today with a one time application. He might have additional parasite but she wants to clear up the hook worm first. Hopefully that will do the trick. He also has a swollen right eye which she thinks is likely caused by herpes virus. She applied an ointment that we will apply twice a day for a week. He was such a good patient today! He ate all his food tonight so it's looking good. Just thought you all should know.

Tony had a second emergency visit the next day when his fever spiked. An antibiotic and new eye drops seemed to do the trick. Then yesterday his other eye began to show the same symptoms and the first eye started to worsen. He is eating
but less than normal and lethargic. No fervor still we are off to the vet this am. Will update when we know more.

Update. Tony is being treated for chlamydia. Fluids and antibiotics yesterday and treatments today of both oral and ointment antibiotic. He is eating but avoiding us. Unfortunately the treatments are necessary for at least 3 weeks and he wants no part of them of course! since this can be transmitted to our other cat, we are keeping them apart which is a little more difficult now that they have gotten to be friends.

I understand that symptoms of this bacteria show up 3 to 10 days from contact. In Tony's case, his symptoms began on the third day we had him. You may want to check on all cats that came in contact with him during his journey here either directly or indirectly. It must be very uncomfortable for him not to mention the 3 emergency visits to vet in 3 weeks. We wanted you to know in case this can be avoided for other kitties

Update: I am happy to say that Tony Soprano is doing much better. We finished the eye ointment yesterday and he is enjoying his first quiet day without us pestering him with medicine. Still has 10 more days of oral antibiotics but he is looking and feeling so much better! He is such a sweet and loving little boy and now showing more energy and playfulness. Progress! Crossing our fingers that this time the antibiotic is successful!

Our very sweet Tony is doing great! After several bouts of eye infections, we started a medication to improve his immune system and that seems to be working. Also we found out he had a rare parasite normally found in the Pacific Northwest. We had to special order the pills (5 pills 2 consecutive days, we had the vet do it!) and that took care of it. So he has been free of vet visits for a couple of months and is just the most loving guy! He will throw himself on his back for a belly rub or kiss his brother on the head or sleep with his head buried in my hand or neck. The two adopted brothers get along so well. Rocco is the dare devil and gives Tony ideas. When I catch the 2 of them at some mischief, Tony is shy and worried and Rocca is all innocence. What a pair! We are so grateful to the Siamese rescue for bringing us these two sweethearts. They bring us love and laughter everyday!

I am a playful little fella & I can easily get into mischief with my brother, but he's the true culprit! I just follow!

I have very good manners & my foster meowm thinks I'm a very special guy. I'm looking for a family that will keep me happy & will play with me a lot!

I'm all vetted & was pronounced healthy. I should be ready to go home in a few weeks.

Check me out, as you won't be sorry!

Jordan is doing very well. The only issue is that he loves food so much he wants his and his playmate's as well so we have to help him not to overeat. Distracting him with playtime usually helps. We love his little chirpy voice and his energy. He is friendly, snuggly and a real lap kitty! He is adapted to his new sister and they are enjoying social play.

Puck has settled in very well. He loves his food and toys, and is not intimidated by the grown-up cats. I swear his legs get longer every day. Just as I'd hoped, he has formed a friendship with my year-old tortie, and they gallop around the house and wrestle together. The other cats are not totally won over as yet, but they don't object to him if he behaves himself.

Not that I want to be on the dessert menu - but I'm all your favorite flavors wrapped up in one snowshoe package! Chocolate, vanilla, a little caramel and a pink gumball nose! I'm also really plush and soft like a bunny. What's not to like?

I do well with other cats and am dog tolerant. Please ask about me. I'm already spayed and it won't take me long to pack my bags to come live with you.

p.s. notice my hanging position. I love to just hang limp in your arms. I feel safe there.

WHOA! One day I am in my home of five years with my two "sisters," the next day I am alone in foster care. (My "sisters" Suzie and Sallie are in foster care too.) I was pretty scared at first but foster mom pets and brushes me, and I like her company. She likes my purrs, head butts and biscuit making. I love playing with my new feather wand too.

Check out my videos. Foster mom says I will be a great catch for someone!
Notes from Home
Sammy had his Vet appointment 10/13/16, he weighs 10.1lbs he had an ear issue and is being treated with Tresderm drops otherwise everything was great. He is very well behaved with a lovely personality, except between 4:30 - 5:30am when he sits on my chest or repeated walks across my chest to wake me up to feed him. When I feed him he looks up at me as to say thank you and he wants to kiss me - very precious to see this. Sammy is a wonderful companion. The first six months in my home if he needed correction he would swat his paw at me if I pointed my finger at him while talking to him. Now he would never do that because he knows me and loves me and feels very secure and loved. Thank you for a great seal boy

I'm a typical rambunctious kitten. Love to play and be silly and cuddle. Should be fine with other cats but in isolation at this time.

Notes from Home
Kamryn is doing very well! I brought him into the vet for his wellness visit on Thursday. I noticed one of his eyes were red, but it cleared up without medication within 2 days. I have terramycin opthalmic ointment on hand in case he has any future eye issues. Otherwise, he is extremely sweet, cuddly, curious, playful and fun to be around! He brings a lot of joy to our family! I often find my brother carrying Kamryn around the kitchen and showing him off to his friends :-) Kamyrn fits in well with my other kittens and loves to play with everyone and everything. He always finds me whenever he is sleepy and wants to curl up for a nap :-D I want to thank everyone who was involved with his care, rescue and transport. He is everything I could dream of AND MORE! We are looking forward to adopting from Siamese Rescue again in a few years. Thanks and Happy Father's Day to your families.

December 4, 2016 Update:

Kamryn is such a joy! He is a very clingy, cry baby! He loves to be held, pet, and loves to play. He is my most talkative cat, but he only cries to tell me things. I always respond to him (of course), so its more like a two way conversation :-) He is a lover boy and is in LOVE with every person who walks through the door. He immediate greets everyone at the door and wants to be held and picked up. He is exactly what I was looking for in a cat and he continues to steal my heart each and every day! He is a very smart boy and is trained to go in a cat stroller and walk on a harness. He enjoys playing with my ferret (he thinks of her as his baby sister) and he is also fine with my guinea pigs. He loves to watch the squirrels and birds outside the window, but he will break his concentration in an instant for some love, hugs and kisses. He is a very good hugger and will reach up for a kiss :-) I think he is going through a growth spurt soon. He was small for a few months and then got really big in one month. I think he will be my largest cat by the time he is done growing. He is such a joy to have :-) Thank you for all of your efforts and hard work to get to him to me. I really appreciate it :-D

Excellent litter box and scratching post use.

Sleeps next to you under the covers at night.

Would be great with older children, other cats, probably also respectful dogs.

Notes from Home
We got home with Theo on Thursday, November 2nd. We introduced him to Thumper, our 2 year old Chocolate Point we rescued from another organization 15 months ago. Theo hissed at Thumper, Thumper turned his back on Theo and sat down. I will cut to the chase. Less than 36 hours later Theo and Thumper were playing together, sharing toys, sharing the couch and sharing our bed. Theo is a little teddy bear with an independent streak but still loves to be cuddled for a short while. He and Thumper love to romp through the house playing chase and skidding around corners on our laminate floor. They play hard and then both just wilt and sleep like rocks. While the weather holds they enjoy sharing the 16x20 screened patio while they watch the birds outside.
Linda and I felt very blessed to have found a personality like Thumper last year. To have found another similar Siamese was too much to hope for. We have been doubly blessed. Many thanks to all who had a role in this.

November 19th 6:00 AM. I was awakened an hour ago with a herd of beasts thundering down the hallway outside our bedroom door. I got up and spent the past hour watching 8 month old Theodore and 26 month old Thumper chase, wrestle, stalk and otherwise joyously play. I find it difficult to fathom that Theo has been with us only 16 days, He moved into our home, hearts and lives so seamlessly it feels like he has always been with us. Thumper just came to me asking for a break from this pesky little brother who springs on him for under furniture, behind doors and from the top of chairs. Thumper and I spent about ten minutes "Dad" time and then refreshed and recharged he was off to find his new brother. When I am at my computer Thumper likes to sit on my chest with his paws on my left shoulder and nuzzle the side of my face. Theo doesn't have much time to cuddle. When not pestering his older brother he is still patrolling the house to make sure it is safe from, well everything! When he runs out of energy he will find one of us and just collapse, sleeping like a log for a bit then off again.

It does not seem possible that it has been only 4 weeks since Theo came to us. He is such an integral part of our house it feels like he has been here forever. After an initial 12 hour 'who are you and what are you doing here (by Theo)' followed by about 24 hours of 'OK, I guess you might be acceptable) Thumper and Theo have been total friends. Thumper is our 30 month old Chocolate Point rescue from Peoria, IL and has been with us about 18 months. They play almost constantly, share toys, share food bowls (making it hard for us because Thumper does not need kitten food) and share us. They both sleep on our bed although Theo no longer sleeps under the covers as he did at his foster home. Life was further enhanced when our granddaughter who lives with us moved out for a month and adopted a 5 week old barn kitten. She promptly moved back in with us bringing Regan. Once again Thumper took to her immediately. Theo took about a week to accept her and now we have three bundles of energy playing tag throughout the house. I am really not certain what we have done to deserve such loving, non-typical Siamese family members.
