How about giving me a try? That's right, try me out and you might just like me. I'm available on a trial basis for the right family.

What do I need? Special diet, I'll bring some with me. Daily pred pill, I'll bring that with me. Love, you need to provide that.

Give me a shout, and I'll give you a purr.

Notes from Home
October 14, 2013
My little boy is still too good to be true.
He has made some amazing firsts since I got him. He used to hide when anyone came until he got used to my family. Now, whenever ANYONE comes, he is right there to greet them.
He now loves to watch nature shows on TV. His favorite is Cat Diaries on Saturday mornings. His eyes are glued to the TV. He will go up close to see better.
I am so thankful to the adoption center for allowing me to be Bailey's mom.

Bailey is such a good cat. He does not have any "bad" habits. He is so layed back and easy going. When you look at him, down close to his face, he puts his paw on your cheek or nose. Every morning around 5:00 he comes to me in bed and keeps pawing my nose, gently. This is because he wants to be fed. I just love him. He is too good to be true.

November 13, 2011: I love Bailey's Vet. He is a little eccentric but nice. You can tell he likes cats. He has a cat that roams freely throughout the office. Bailey completely ignored him!!! We are playing a game of chasing. I will chase him to the bedroom and then when I turn and run back to the living room he chases me. He loves it.

December 2: My daughter has a new kitten and the first few times she brought him over, Bailey hissed and growled. He did this several times and we were afraid he might hurt Toby. Last weekend she brought Toby over and we were not really paying attention to them and then they came running into the living room. They were playing together!! Chasing each other and wrestling. Bailey is very mild toward Toby now and it is Toby who wants to jump on Bailey and bite but Bailey is very patient with him. They are so cute together. Bailey is the mature one who patiently puts up with the shananigans of a lively kitten.
January 9, 2012-Bailey and I still have a very special relationship. He is the best cat I have ever been around. He is such a loving little guy and so well behaved.
My son and family stayed here for a week the week before Christmas. There were a total of 4 kids here every day and 2 stayed the night. Bailey finally warmed up to everyone after the 2nd day. My 6 yr. old grandson is very hyper and rambuctious and I was worried about Bailey's reaction to him. Bailey seemed to love that little boy! He also warmed up to all the grandkids, letting them pet him and he even slept with my 10 yr.old granddaughter. He is such a joy.

May 14, 2012
Just sent some update photos of Bailey. He is still my baby. Love him so much. He is so smart and funny.
He loves my daughter. When she comes in, he goes to her and meows knowing she will pick him up and put him on her lap and pet the heck out of him. He loves it!
I am so glad I adopted him. I don't know what life would be without him.

October17, 2012.
I have had the privilege of being Bailey's forever Mommy now, for a year. He certainly is a big part of our family. Everyone loves him. His personality is great! There is just sweetness and love in this little guy. Thanks to the VA Rescue Center I have my forever cat.

LEXI
Wow! For the first time in weeks I can relax! You see, I've been raising kittens and now they're finally big enough to live without me! Oh, they're still here in the building with me, but we now have our own accomadations.

Now I'll be looking for a real home of my own. I haven't told Meowmy too much yet, but I did let her know how grateful I am by purring and head butting her.

Are you looking for a nice girl like me? I hope so, cause I've had enough of living on my own. Ask about me and maybe I can come to live with you for the next 20 years or so.

Purrs,
Alexia

PS: Meowmy apoligizes for my video cutting off in the middle. She said her camera's memory stick was full.
Notes from Home
I went for my “wellness” examination today, September 24, 2012 at Kings Mountain Animal Clinic. The attending doctor was Katrina Waisanen. She said I looked great. I have gained nearly a pound weighing in at 7.4 lbs. My meowy doesn’t know how --- she says I run around like lightening! (I do sound like a basketball player’s tennis shoes skidding on the shiny kitchen floor trying to stop). The doctor said my teeth are excellent. She also clipped my nails. The doctor said I didn’t need the FeLV vaccine. She also dewormed me. To make my poppa happy I stayed calm during the examination until the nail clipping started. Poppa held me for the nice doctor so she wouldn’t clip them too short.

On the home front report: Lexi seems to really love her new home. And we have fallen in love with her. She follows my husband around like a dog, and tends to bite him like a dog too. lol. Her actions with me are completely different. She sleeps with me (most of the time) at night. She hasn’t attempted to bite me or scratch me so far. All I have to do to correct her, is say NO!... in a loud voice, and she takes off out of my room or lays down and goes to sleep. My husband keeps her treat bag on my nightstand and I give her a few of the treats-- before I eat breakfast every morning. We had to switch from catnip treats to another flavor-- as she was going wild. lol. Lexi is using her pet doors like a pro (from day two) going down in our basement to use her litter box. When she is finished she comes back upstairs. My husband goes downstairs to clean up her litter box and check her stool to be sure it is normal.

Everyone in our family, adores her, and she seems to interact very well with them. Although at times she is a little aggressive with my husband ( I think she has adopted him as her play toy)--she is the most loving cat, I have ever seen. As Jeanne said she’s a head butter and she does talk a lot (in kitty language) that is. lol We are very satisfied with her, and are very happy, we picked her out to adopt her.

Lexi, says “Hi!”

Lexi’s meowmy mom and Paw Paw dad say “Hi” too.

All my purrs,
“Lexi”
4/15/13
Hi!...it's me Lexi. I just want to tell everyone at the Siamese Rescue Center (especially, Jeanne my nice foster Meowmie)--I'm really enjoying my new home in Fieldale, VA--with Meowmie and Paw Paw G. Meowmie tells me that I think I'm a "Flying Squirrel"--because, I fly through the house about a 100 miles a second! Meowmie says she expects me to start talking like a parrot before long.
I really like to attack Paw Paw's ankles and bite on him. He tells me to stop in a kinda gruff voice, but I just run off and jump on the bed to head-butt and cuddle with Meowmie. I don't bite her-- cause she's my favorite cuddling buddy. Paw Paw looks so cute marching down the hallway looking like a majorette, with me chomping away at his heels.
Every morning, I get several treats, and then I lay in the sunshine on the enclosed patio floor. I also love lying in the sunshine in the roomy Bay Window. I now weigh 7 lbs. 9 ozs. I am up-to-date with my shots, and check-up. Meowmie's daughter clips my nails about once a month.
Well, I hope all of you guys and gals are adopted soon-- by "special"cat lovers like my owners.
Love and purrs,
"Lexi"
10/12/13
Hi!...it’s me Lexi Sue. Yeah, Meowmie added "Sue" to my name to rhyme with "I love you." As you can see in my picture I’m living the "Life of Riley." Notice how smooth and beautiful and soft my fur is. Meowmie says my fur looks like a cloud.

Well, I went for my annual check-up and to get my shots updated. I saw this large picture of a cat in the examining room and I started to hiss and growl, so I already had my feathers...uh, my fur ruffled, before the vet came in the room. When he put his hand on the back of my neck...well, I went ballistic! Even Paw Paw took a few steps backwards! And would you believe, his assistant had the nerve, to throw a heavy big towel over my whole body? It was lights out time for me! The vet pulled the towel up enough to give me my two shots. Never was I so glad to get into my carrying case! Paw Paw told Meowmie about the scene, I had caused...when we got back home. He said I sounded like something wild, right out of the jungle! I just had to show them who was boss!
I now weigh: 8 lbs.6 oz. The vet wrote on my progress report, that I look great, and to keep up the good work!
I hope all of you guys and gals find a home like mine. Paw Paw buys me the expensive cat food and snacks. I pretty much ruled the roost...uh, the house. I still nip at Paw Paw’s ankles when I want his attention. And I still cuddle (sometimes) in Meowmies arms at night. I love to lie on the pillow, that props up her laptop. All she has to say when I jump on the bed is: "turn around." I know what she means, because I turn around on the pillow, and go to sleep. And when I hear her getting her mirror, no matter where I am, I hear the noise her make-up tin makes and here I come to chase the mirror image on the wall. It reminds me of my red light laser. I still chase that image too. It’s a lot of fun, and also a bit frustrating, when I can’t catch the images.
Well...until my next report on how I’m faring...purrs and kisses to all!
Lexi Sue...I love YOU!

CALLISTA
Sorry I'm still on eval status as I have just arrived at Foster Mummy's house and still unpacking my things and finding my way around.

I have told her that I am very shy at first until you pick me up then I purr. I know I will not be wanting to travel too far away to my forever home. She told me that we might be going to "Adopt Me" status this weekend so that I have a few days to settle in.

Now, where do I hang my purrrrrrse?!?

I could not be happier with Callista. She is my non diva, snuggle bunny, companion and office helper! She will help clear my desk of papers and any pens and at times write highly encrypted emails!!!!

Callista has integrate extremely well with all my other household kitties and dog. She plays exceptionally well with her 1 year old Seal Point female sister. At dinner, if I don't serve her first, she is very, very vocal!! She has gone from a shy and reported feral rescue kitten to a confident lap cat that continuously purrs and will follow me around the house and especially to the kitchen! We are all so very, very happy. Thank you so much for allowing me to adopt my soul kitty.

WOW 4 years has gone by already! Callista is still my baby girl and continues to suckle on my neck each morning. She has become a great helper in the kitchen as she cleans up any "flying" chicken that lands on the floor. When we have snacks at the low table and I sit on the floor, she will stand on her back legs with her front paws on the table, then lean into me and keep doing that until she gets a little bit of food.

She is definitely my soul kitty and I think she knows it too. I am so lucky to have her in my life.

DESIRAY
I've been here for a week now & my foster meowm has been working with me so my kitty cold would go away. I'm feeling a lot better & I'm happiest when I can cuddle on my foster meowm's shoulder when she's laying down & we take a nap together. I'm told that I'm a VERY special little girl & a purring love bug!

I'm ready to start answering inquiries now, so if you are looking for a sweetie of a kitten, look no further & click on that button to ask about me!

Sorry I can not figure out how to send you photos I plan on printing some the old fashioned way and sending a few to Desi, now Lunas foster Mom in Virginia.
She is sleeping on the table next to my laptop. She is a perfect little kitten. She talks when she wants food and is a very good eater. Even perfect litter box manners. She likes to purr and rub and head-butts. She likes sparkly balls and dangly stick toy.
She likes to hang out with my husband Russ and he likes her very much! He pets and talks to her. My senior cat Legacy "get along" but her good friend is the dog. She tries so hard to play with the dog, but usually the dog just runs around. It is cute. The big news is that we all share the bed at night. Russ and I and the dog and Luna. Soo cute.
Thank you again to everyone! Margaret and Russ

LOUISA
I'm cute, I'm cuddly, I'm cute, I'm playful, I'm cute and I purr, purr, purr....... what more could you want ?

If you want a ready made family, my brother Lafayette and I can go together but it's not necessary. However, the Kitten Policy does apply to I'll either need a furry companion or my purrson to be home all the time.

ALYSE
Ready to make your acquaintance! And you and you and you! I'm an outgoing ambassador type cat. I don't have dog experience but am dog curious. As far as other kitties go I could go with a rambunctious outgoing male kitten and do very well, I'd also be just fine as the only cat. I love a good game of play (by myself or with you) and I'm pretty good in the lap sitting department too! Older kids would be wonderful if they want a buddy who will follow them around and entertain and be entertained for hours!
Notes from Home
Alyse is doing very well - she's such a nice cat! She's still a rather round shaped cat who clearly enjoys her food, but she still REALLY enjoys playing! Her favorite toy these days is a mouse on a rope which she's never seems to tire of chasing and catching and bunny kicking. Thank you again to foster Mom Siri, interviewer Peggy and Team Meezer Express for sending Alyse to us six months ago!

Two year anniversary was October 1st!! Alyse is doing very well -- had her vet checkup today -- she continues to thoroughly enjoy her food and playing with toys, loves to be combed and brushed, and is a great lap sitter. New pictures attached show her other favorite activities -- relaxing and sleeping!

Reese and I are best friends. I can't thank Siamese Rescue enough for providing me the opportunity to adopt Reese. He is a well-mannered, loving, playful, companionable guy and I can't think of a single thing I would change about him. He's perfect (at least to me). I think he is happy with the adoption as well. Again, thank you so much for providing me the opportunity to know him.

I'm not a picture taking person but I will try to take some photos of Reese with his favorite things over the next few days and upload them.

I hope all is well at Siamese Rescue.

Your friend and fan,
Sandy Litz

Notes from Home
Susie is such an important part of our family. She is affectionate, sweet and loves to snuggle. She is still very nervous around the youngest member of the family, but has learned that he will not hurt her and tolerates his quick movements much better.
We are grateful for her!

ZELL
Excuse, I am Mr. Zell. I have a preference for small spaces - boxes, sinks, and foster Mom's doll bassinet. I am a stately gentleman - handsome, regal, and composed. It takes me a little bit to adjust to new circumstances, but I am a love when I issue my approval of you. I currently live with Winston C. We have in depth conversations about the latest cat novels, cat TV, and the benefits of catnip. I like the companionship of other similarly minded cats. If you have room in your household for a true statesman, I hope that you will consider me.
Sincerely,
Mr. Zell, esquire

Notes from Home
Zell has found his forever home! After just four days with us it seemed as though he had always been our "boy". After my complaints about smelly can food and cat poo Zelly stopped eating canned food! He is one smart cat! We adopted "Bunny" a 4 year female as Zells companion cat. She was welcomed to her forever home one week ago today. Bunny is a love as well. Upon their first encounter Zell loved her immediately! Bunny was a little hissy, but she is so laid back and feminine sounding her complaints were non-threatening! We have two of the most wonderful felines! A great big hug and thank you to all of you who dedicate your time so we can enjoy our beloved Siamese!
May 2, 2013. Zelly is such a character! He loves his Millie bed! Zelly loves cheese and milk! He begs for it , of course we don't give him any. Zelly loves his Bunny girl. They sleep near each other. Pretty soon they will be snuggling!

10/06/13 Zell is a Mommas Boy! He has lost some of his excess tummy. Zell now allows me to pick him up and hold him and he will choose to lay in my lap! He gets along well with his friend/companion snowshoe 'Bunny". They sleep on our bed or our chaise lounge chair. I figured out Zell has separation anxiety. We were in Colorado for a week, even with our daughter home loving on him he did not like my absence. Zell has several fetishes - eating houseplants and lying on the kitchen counter! We moved the plants to a gated room. The water bottle spraying deters his kitchen lounging for a period of time and then he reverts back. Zell is an obsessive belly licker. His belly hair will grow back partially and then he licks it off again. Zell had a bald belly when we adopted him. Our vet thinks his anxiety issues stem from his previous life before adoption. She has suggested anti-anxiety meds, but I'm not sure about starting that. I have changed to a non scented litter, indoor diet Hills cat food, and tried a probiotic. Any suggestions? Zell gets lots of love petting, cooing and fun games. We love him very much!

Pretty and petite that's me. Very sweet and loves to purr. Think I look like I am about to sneeze? Well I am! I have a tad of cold...better pictures will come once I shake it....My video shows what a lover I am...

Just wanted to let everyone know that we took Mau to the vet on Friday although she was NOT happy being in the carrier (poor kitty!). She was diagnosed with an bad ear infection( in one ear) and an eye infection. The vet said it was a secondary infection from her first one and that it was normal. So she is on meds (for ear and eye) for 10 days and she is not very happy with me but I think she knows deep down inside that I am helping her so she is very humble. She hates me scruffing her and I hate it too but she has to get better, right? The good news is that she gained a pound! Yay! She is 7 lbs 6 oz. She is eating well and happily adjusting to us. Even to all the noise! The best part is that my home is QUIET because of her! My kids have so much respect for her! Thank you Mau! I will upload pictures once she is better. Thank you for this wonderful gift guys!

UPDATE: Mau is all better now! The cold is gone. No more sneezing, no more yucky eye gunk and no more ear infection!! I'm also more relaxed and loving since I feel better! Says MAU :)

Update: Miss Mau takes a walk everyday on her leash. She waits by the door every morning and happily wears a harness (strange). She used to roll over like a dog when her harness was first put on, but I guess she figured that that was her only psss to get out, so she begrudgingly complies. Well, she is not a cuddly lap cat like my kids were hoping, but they are learning that personal space and staring is rude. Thank you, Mau. You are quite a character. We love you.
