ANGELIQUE (AKA TILLY)
Angelique is a gorgeous seal point who has all the intelligence of the Siamese breed in a cuddly, bunny soft, furry snowshoe package.

She is happy to play independently or pick a spot near her purrson and just hang out regardless of the presence of other cats. So she would be ok with other mellow cat or on her own.

Angelique has purrfect litter box and scratching post habits and is doing very well on her fitness regimen - with daily exercise and a reduced calorie diet.

Notes from Home
LuLu had her check up today. Leaving home was a bit traumatizing for her but she calmed down once we got to Dr. Jen's I'm sure all the extra attention from everyone telling her how awesome and beautiful she is didn't hurt. When the vet comes in saying she is looking forward to meeting you well you know your a star! Dr. Jen said she is very healthy, approximately 3 years old and as we expected a little" fluffy"14.8lbs. She will continue with her Royal Canin appetite control until gone then start a 6 month regimen of Hills prescription R/D with rechecks every 2 months, she still gets her tsp. of soft food in the morning with 1/2 tsp. of Halo VitaGlo for her skin and 8 of the Tiny Tiger 1 calorie treats in the evening which she loves. Home life is going great! LuLu loves her cat trees, play time when I get home from work TV relaxing time and bedtime snuggles. I think we're off to a great start and the purrrfect match. I love this baby girl!

JOSEE
I'm very shy with people, but love other cats, so I'm actually one that must not go as the only cat in the household, as I want a cat buddy. And if I had someone to model after, I would learn more about being friendly with people I think. I do know they provide food, and I love food, so that's one way to get into my heart. I'm a bit of a ghost cat though so a quieter household would be good. All my habits (other than people socialization) are excellent so I'm a very easy keeper in that sense. I'm a petite gorgeous gal who has high hopes for a new home soon!

Notes from Home
Josee is doing very well, eating, drinking & using her litter box. When we brought her home May 3, we created a space for her in a bedroom & adjoingin bath. At first she was very timid & hid under a couch for about 24 hours. However, she has made great progress, she greets us eagerly when we come into "her room." She loves to play with the toys that Siamese Rescue sent home with her, her favorite is the ping pong ball. She has become steadily more comfortable with us, letting us pet her, and actually "asking" for pets. She does not want to be picked up, so we are, of course, respecting her wishes. Josee and our 12 yo blue point, Joey are still checking each other out, at first there were a few mild hisses, but they seem more comfortable with each other now. We are thrilled that Josee has joined us and look forward to many years with her!

June 7, 2018: Josee is doing very well. She is a very eager eater! has no litterbox problems & has continued to make progress in settling in to the household. She loves to be petted, still does not want to be picked up, but will hop up and sit next to either of us. Josee and our 12 yo blue point, Joey have become steadily more comfortable with each other. There has been no hissing or growling for several weeks now & Josee seems to be asking for attention from Joey. Josee seems very comfortable with coming downstairs from her safe room and roaming the rest of the house, in fact, she has been eating her meals with Joey in the kitchen for the last two weeks. We are really pleased at her progress, as she has gotten more comfortable, her delightful personality has emerged, she is a really lovely kitty, so cute & sweet....plus she has proven to be quite the acrobat!

August 25, 2018, Josee is doing absolutely great! She is such an adorable girl! She loves, loves , loves to be petted....she sleeps with us every night & has crawled into my lap several times for an extended petting session. Josee & Joey are getting along well, they play together, occasionally curl up on a blanket together and seem to be totally at ease with each other. We are so happy to have Josee, she has completely won our hearts :-)

September 8, 2018: Josee gets more adorable every day! As you can see from one of her recent photos, she is quite the daredevil! She is a wonderful pet, we are so happy to have her. She loves sitting on our laps and getting pets. She enjoys curling up in one of the kitty beds around the house for a good snooze & she and Joey are getting along very well. We have been concerned about Joey because he seems to be grieving for Jasmine, who we lost in April. They were very close and he obviously misses her. However, he seems to be perking up as he & Josee get more comfortable with each other....we've even seem them trading ear licks :-) Looking forward to many more years with Josee!

December 9, 2018: Josee has totally won our hearts! She is such a wonderful kitty! She & Joey are doing great together (I've uploaded some photos!) & we credit Josee with helping Joey gradually get over the worst of his grief for the loss of Jasmine (our lilac point) in April. We are so grateful for Siamese Rescue for bringing us together!

Notes from Home
Nung had his physical last month as well as shots for distemper. All
was/is well. Last Fall as the weather was getting cooler, we had three
snakes get into the house through the (now fixed) gap in the weather
stripping on the family room door. Nung killed two and was in the
process of dispatching a third when we caught it and released it out
doors. These can be added to a blue tailed skink (he got the tail) and
a mouse that he caught earlier and were also released.

A couple of years ago Nung decided to explore the great outdoors when we
accidentally left the door open. He did not care for it and rushed back
in as soon as he saw us (we're extra careful now). He does enjoy watching
it through the window from his perches.

Nung always greets us when we come home after being outside and remains
very affectionate. He also greets visitors except for a few repairmen who
he distrusts.

Nung continues to have a great capacity for giving and receiving
affection. We consider ourselves extremely lucky that he is part of our
lives.

Nung developed a lipoma which while not painful grew to the point where the vet said "it was him." On 23 November 2018, Nung was put to sleep. We have scattered his ashes at the base of two Thai spirit houses amongst some holly trees in our yard. We miss him greatly.

I am social with kittens and people. I really like to sit on your shoulder or be up high on the cat tree. Foster Meowmy says that I should be a supermodel because not only am I photogenic but I have that signature birth mark just above my mouth.

We just celebrated 1 year with our Pippa!!! She is full of energy and loves to snuggle on soft blankets. She has recently found out how much she loves divebombing the christmas tree skirt and it should be interested with the rest of the holiday season. She LOVES daddy!

FAWN
Found in a Baltimore County, Maryland shelter. Pretty Seal Point girl with a slightly off front paw. Does not seem to hinder her playing.

At first, a bit unsure of people so first reaction to hands coming at her was to hiss. This changed to purrs as she settled in. When chasing a wand toy she purrs. When she stops she rolls over for pets. Follows me around like a shadow, and winds between my feet. Not for someone unsteady on their feet.

When out of isolation she was ok with other cats and no reaction on seeing dogs. She followed around my 10 year old male cat. I am guessing she would like a buddy to curl up with. She is pretty confident and loves to explore.

At the moment she seems to be more on the gentle side vs the take charge side.

See her videos.

MAX
Sweet, loving boy who likes to be where my person is. Pick me up and carry me around - no problem because I love attention any way I can get it. A gentle giant, that's what they call me here. I've been with Lily since I was a kitten, so we're looking for a place together. If you like a lap warmer I'm your guy, and if there are two laps, Lily will fill one too!

The cats are wonderful and we are so glad to have them as a part of the family. They play and soak up all the sunshine from the windows during the day and sleep with us at night. They LOVE their new food and don't throw up any more other than one post vacuuming stress vomit. Lily has not had any issues with the litter box , we did have to switch them to corn cob litter because I am allergic to the pine shavings and still no accidents. After the vet cleared lily's anal glands she has not done any butt scooting on our carpet. We have also not been feeding any fish, and giving her a probiotic and krill oil per our vets recommendations, and her ears and skin have cleared up dramatically. She has no sign of being yeasty anymore. Both Max and Lily have velvet soft fur like chinchillas now too and neither really shed anymore. We found a grooming mitt if ok with Lily and she will even rub herself on it when we put it on our hand. Both of them love the in home cat sitters we used at thanksgiving and were even playing with the daughter who uses crutches to walk since she has spina bifida. Max lays on us every night as we watch TV before bed and has claimed the whole house as his. Lily spend most of her time in the front bedroom office and living room. They still love the cat tree that came with them but Emily found a great cyber monday deal on a huge 6 ft kitty tree that will be their christmas present and we already have the greenies for their stocking ;) It safe to say they are going to spend the rest of their live being spoiled.

WILLA
A little portly, I'm a sweet gentle souled shy gal who wants a very quiet household with no dogs, kids or other cats. Initially I'm frightened but can be a sweet snuggler if I feel comfortable. The last home was just too scary for me and I was frightened of several things, so I've come back to Siamese Rescue to find a quieter home. One on one would be ideal! If you have some patience, can provide some good scratching materials, and like to sweet talk a kitty and be rewarded with soft purrs and snuggles, I might be the one for you!

Notes from Home
Sweet kitty initially greeted me most affectionately and then disappeared for a couple of days. Two weeks later, she is still mostly in hiding, but comes out to eat, drink and use the litter box. When she appears, usually once a day, she is aggressively friendly and hangs around a while to visit. The least little noise sends her scurrying for cover. Still have not been able to catch her to take her to the vet. I admit she is more of a challenge than I anticipated, but one well worth it. Under the terribly frightened exterior is a very sweet cat. She is beautiful and I love her.
After a month we are starting to see some progress. She spends all night pressed into my side and even occasionally shows herself during the day. But the least little disruption still sends her back into hiding.
Late November and she is no longer in hiding. Still painfully shy. She hides at the least little sound, or the appearance of any other human, but out in the room most of the time. Rarely leaves my room except to follow me to the bathroom on occasion. Is Velcroed to me at night. Love her dearly!

Foster Notes

JESSIE
Well, here I am at a new foster house. My first foster took great care of me. I was really sick. So many Siamese Rescue people care about me so much. I love these folks. So I'm over my cold but now I have to get spayed. Meom says it will be the best thing for me. I know I'll be okay because she loves me very much.
I do like to play, I'm just a big kitten myself. Well I feel very young anyway. The food here is so good. I'm feeling stronger everyday. I'm so anxious to find my furever home when I am finished with my veterinary appointment.
Do you have a friend for me to play with? I think I like other kitties. Meom will let you know.
Meom says that you should press the 'How to Adopt' button to find out about me.
I can't wait to meet you! You can show me the new fluffy bed you have for me to sleep in!
Thanks for looking at me. I want to sit on your lap and purr, purr, purr!

Notes from Home
24-Nov-2018: Jessie is doing great and has been with us for over 5 years now, Her calcium levels were elevated and she had lost a little weight at her vet visit earlier this year but things seemed normal when she went back for a follow up. If her blood panel looks good this year, she'll need her teeth cleaned. Jessie is a very sweet cat and hasn't nipped at anyone in the last couple of years. She still doesn't like her nails trimmed but loves to be brushed. We love her!

01-Feb-2015: Jessie is doing very well and has gotten comfortable in her home. She's very sweet and always wants to be where we are. The only person she still nips is my husband (although he's her favorite person) because he sometimes doesn't pick up on her body language. Jessie had her annual exam, all is well except she gained a little weight. I scaled back the amount of food the cats are getting and started measuring it instead of just eyeballing the amount. I don't know if she has lost any but I'm pretty sure she hasn't gained more. Jessie is really low maintenance - no bad habits and not overly demanding. She just wants her head rubbed and her meals on time and she's a happy girl.

26-Nov-2013: Jessie has fit into the household pretty well. One of the resident cats still chases her every now and then. It seems like he just wants to play with her but she does not appreciate it and hisses at him. She doesn't seem interested in the other cats and mostly ignores them. She still nips at us for no reason - no reason from our point of view; I'm sure she would say differently :). I can watch her and anticipate when she's going to nip and prevent it but she's definitely not a cat you can just mindlessly pet while you're watching TV. She's not aggressive and the nipping isn't hard or leaving a mark - just weird behavior. She's very friendly and is always wherever the family is (in one the pics, she's sleeping on my mom who is visiting for the weekend). She's quiet and pretty low maintenance; easy to care for. She seems to really like my husband and he's her first choice when she's looking for some pets.

14-Oct-2013: Jessie had her vet visit today; she is up to 7.9 lbs and the vet thinks that is a perfect weight for her. She was also introduced to the resident kitties today. They were together for about an hour or so without incident. I played with the boys with a wand toy and she jumped in to play every now and then. I gave all the cats treats and they all ate them together. :) She is still occasionally doing the nipping thing. I can usually watch her and anticipate when she's going to nip and stop petting her before it happens. Other than that, she’s a great little girl; very sweet and loving and enjoys her play time.

Notes from Home
24-Nov-2018: Finnigan is doing great and has been with us for over 5 years now. He had his teeth cleaned last year but other than that, has only needed his annual visits to the vet. We love him! :)

01-Feb-2015: Finnigan is doing well and is a very loved member of the household. He is always into or on top of whatever we're doing. Aside from us having to move him off of games or get him out of the pile of laundry (see pictures), he is a perfect boy; no bad habits and nothing to complain about. Finnigan went for his annual exam a couple of months ago and the only issue is that he had put on a little weight, not too much but the vet recommended he not get any bigger. My daughter still adores him and he is very tolerant of being carried around and hugged and kissed. He is a wonderful boy!

26-Nov-2013: Finnigan is such an awesome boy! He has become my daughters favorite cat and he is often snuggled up with her under a blanket on the couch. He is very playful and likes to play by himself, with the other cats, and with interactive toys. Integration was a little rough at first. He was a bit of a bully to one of the resident kitties but he has backed off and those 2 play together sometimes now (they're both on the cat tree in the picture). As I type this, they're sleeping about 6 inches from each other on the couch. Finnigan is exactly what we were looking for when we submitted our application to Siamese Rescue. :)

14-Oct-2013: Finnigan is doing very well. He is very loving and playful. He purrs pretty much non-stop. He received his final worming on Saturday and received his last dose of ointment for his yeast infection today (infection seems to be gone, I will give his ears a good cleaning tomorrow). I am currently working on integrating Jessie with the resident cats and as she progresses, I will start introducing Finnigan to everyone (so far, they have only played with each other under the door). Finnigan plays a little rough with us so I’m hoping he won’t be too rough for the other kitties. The pictures I uploaded are of him looking out the window into the woods – lots of wildlife for him to see and the other is him playing with a toy – he LOVES to play. He’s such a great boy! 

LUNA
Hi, Luna here. I've been through a lot of changes in living situations lately, and that has me a bit nervous. I'm looking for a quiet home with one or more cats and some humans who will be patient with me while I get to know them. I promise I'm worth it! Please ask about me today

Notes from Home
Luna is doing well. She spends most of her time under the bed. I talked with her several times yesterday on the floor looking under the bed. She came out last night for lots of loving and stayed out for some time. She ate right away after I arrived home. She peed several times and had a bowel movement today. This afternoon she came out again for some loving and is eating very well. I think she needs plenty of time to get use to the environment. I have an appointment next Friday with my Vet for a check up. I love her and she is adorable. She is a very petite little girl. Very sweet. I intent to give her all the time she needs to feel comfortable before introducing her to Sunny. This morning at 5 AM they were having a conversation through the bedroom door. Sunny is new to the home but has been here for a month. He will be 11 months old next week. He is very gentle. I feel confident when they do get together that they will be fine. He is a little more confident that Luna and I think it will help her. Once she is comfortable I intend to takie a picture and send an update for you to see. :thanks all for your support for Luna to get to her new forever home..

It is a week today and everything is going well. Luna is doing wonderful. I sleep with her part of most nights. I moved her from one bedroom today to my bedroom so she has more exposure to another area in my home. She eats well and plays well. She loves looking out the window and playing with her toys. I am so blessed.

It is Thursday of the second week and Luna is doing excellent. I am taking her tomorrow to my Vet for a check-up. I will update again over the weekend. I haven't introduced the Luna and Sunny and don't intend to for at least another week. I still have her in my bedroom. I plan to put Sunny in the back bedroom where Luna spent her first week and let Luna explore the rest of the house over the weekend in Sunny's absence. I watched a Jackson Galaxy video about putting the food bowls on each side of the closed doors so they associate something good with the spell while eating. I have been doing feeding them all week like this. I did put Luna's mitt that I brushed her with outside her room too. I think Luna will be fine as she was always with other cats. Sunny was alone so this is why I am being cautious and making a slow introduction I think in the end it will all work out well.

It is already the 10th of November, sorry for being late with the news. Luna's trip to the Vet was non-eventful. She pasted everything with flying colors. She is doing well. I haven't let her roam freely yet as I am taking my time.. I did let her out a few times for a short while this past week but Sunny is still growling a little so I don't want her scared. I continue to feed them by the door where Luna is staying. Luna is in my bedroom so I am with her the entire evening and off/on throughout the day. The past few evenings, Sunny puts his paws under the door and they play around a bit. I am borrowing a Pet cage from a friend that has several ledges to perch and is about 4 feet high. I am going to put Luna in it downstairs for a period each day. Then put Sunny in it and let Luna roam around and see if this helps with the introduction. This will not be until mid-week next week. I will let you know how things work out. I feel confident that they will be comfortable with each other with some tender loving care and patience.
