GEORGE
I'm a sweet, quiet boy, who loves to have someone pet me and rub my tummy. I will flip over just about anytime, and stretch out for you. I love to play with the toys that are here , and like it even more when someone plays with me. I get along very well with the other three cats here, both male and female, and even allow the big resident dog to play with me, as long as she doesn't get too rough.
I would fit in just about anywhere,, but being the young guy that I am, would enjoy the company of other cats. I'm a little shy, so young children may scare me.

Nicky is so very handsome he is such a loving boy. He has settled in well and just wants to be loved all of the time, which is just fine with us. He loves his new home and very much enjoys be able to over look the house in the loft. Thanks to all that helped him get to us safely!!!!

MRS DRACULA
Mr Dracula got a little overzealous with the romance and left me with a little 'bite' and a tiny bun in the oven. Unfortunately I ended up in a shelter, our baby didn't survive, and I had surgery so that I can't have any more little ones but I'm doing okay. I'm taking just a bit to get used to all these changes but I do know that I like not being in that shelter and getting scritches from that foster Lady. I can't help but purr and make biscuits and meeerow my happiness. And don't you worry, this is one Dracula that doesn't mind sunshine:)

Notes from Home
Roxy (we call her Roxanne) is doing great in her new home. She is very comfortable with the two males who are quite taken with her. She enjoys the big screen room along the back of the house and she loves to be petted. Whenever I come home she has a lot to tell me! Here are two pictures: one shows her loving her kitty tower scratching posts and the other shows you she's made herself right at home in my daughter's bed! Thanks to everyone who made our adoption possible.

TAJ
I had to be rehomed because my Meowm is moving through no fault of her own, and I need a new home. I've been with her since kittenhood, always been inside, and been absolutely wonderful.
Here's what My Meowm says about me: A pure bred seal point I purchased from a breeder. Taj is very outgoing and likes to meet new people, he's done well around children. He loves to be in the middle of everything, he opens drawers/cabinets and is a great 24/7 companion. He is very vocal. He's a strong willed cat and very intelligent. He loves to be picked up, sitting on laps and taking pictures. Taj is needy for lots of human love, the more the better. He doesn't like to be alone ever. If he is alone in a room, he will meow for hours until you let him out.He's either always with me or with the other cat but never by himself.
Taj would love a family with a lot of activity and other pets and/or older children because he's active and he likes to interect with every member of the household. His favorite person is whoever gives him the most attention or dotes over him. Or he'd do well with a single person to spoil him rotten.
He'd socialize well with new pets.
Here's what our volunteer said when she met him:

We've had Taj (now named McNulty) for four years. He's a great cat and we love him to bits. He's quite cuddly and smart. So smart, in fact, that we often come home to find he's opened every cabinet in the house while we were out. Other hobbies include clawless mousing, opera, and long jumps.
My husband, who had never been around pets before and "didn't like cats," is the most smitten, perhaps. I work from home now, so McNulty spends most of the day alternating between the patch of sunlight on my office floor and my lap. It's a tough life.
We just went to the vet day before yesterday and he appears to be in perfect health.

Notes from Home
Mango's name is now Chauncey. He settled into our home immediately and became friends with our other three Siamese cats. He is the most laidback cat ever, and friendly with all humans who approach him. He loves to eat, especially canned food as his foster mother predicted. He is extremely curious and gets into anything new in his vicinity. Among his favorite activities are relaxing on the screen-enclosed porch watching the birds, watching his cat DVD's, chasing the laser light, and taking walks in his cat stroller. Every day my husband and I say how much we love him and feel so lucky to have adopted him. Whoever gave him up sure missed out on a wonderful and special cat.
January 31, 2013
Here are two new photos of Chauncey. He continues to be a lovable character who is very curious and gets into everything. At Christmas we noticed that our tree lights no longer lit up light and discovered he had chewed through the cord. A few weeks ago he chewed a scarf that someone had knitted for me. Yesterday, he chewed through my husband's cell phone recharger wire. Despite the occasional damage, we continue to love him very much.
May 4, 2015: Chauncey is a very amusing and sociable fellow. If he's upstairs when we call his name, he chortles all the way down the stairs on he way to see what's up. His chewing of his humans' possessions is infrequent nowadays. He is extremely curious and every morning after eating he inspects the premises like a watch-cat, looking up, down, left, and right so as not to miss anything new in his "domain". This inspection includes the (empty) bathroom tub. He thinks he is" top cat" over our other three cats, always claiming the highest level on the cat tower. He is not a lap cat, but he will sit next to us and shows his appreciation for being petted by purring very loudly. He is happy that spring finally arrived in 2015 and he can now add our screened-in porch to his inspection duties.

JOSIE
Yeah I'm out of isolation and that crate!!!!!! I have been playing with the other cats here and the TOYS, so many TOYS, and the cat trees. WOW..... Now I can be a normal kitten and learn how to have fun and not have to worry all the time about being safe. Life is good. I am stilll learning to trust people but I don't swat at Meowmy anymore. When she can catch me (playing hard to get but don't tell her) I let her cuddle with me.
If you have alot of love to give and some patience then I am the girl for you. What are you waiting for?!

January 31, 2013: Josie is beautiful as you can see from her photo taken today. She's very petite. She's lying on the cat condo, her favorite spot for sun bathing and birdwatching. She is still extremely afraid of humans and will not let us get closer than six feet before she takes off through the cat door to the basement. This behavior is a major improvement from when she used to hide in the basement all the time, only coming upstairs for meals.At night, she sleeps on our bed with our other three cats and gets along well with them. She is very healthy and eats well. Perhaps she will never be sociable with humans. Still, we feel good about having given her a good home.
May 4, 2015: Josie (AKA "Little Girl") has remained petite although she has a healthy appetite. At her annual checkup at the vet's office she had no physical health problems. On the other hand, emotionally, she's still extremely fearful of her humans and avoids any contact with them, running out of a room whenever a human enters, yet she has enough native curiosity to sneak into the family room to spy on us we are watching TV to see what's going on, running off if we notice her. She gets along well with our three other cats, all males, her favorite being Sam, our ten-year-old Seal Point Siamese. Her new photo shows her with her BFF. Even though we have no expectation of Josie ever cuddling up with us, we are content in the knowledge that she has a safe and loving home with us.
