LADY JANE
Hello, I'm now known as Lady Jane. Meowmy said that is a perfect name for a beautiful little lady like me.
I was found wandering a neighborhood by a nice lady who tried to find where I lived. I was very skinny and had just finished raising some kittens. The rescue angel called Siamese Cat rescue, and here I am.
I'm a bit bewildered by all the changes but am getting lots of good food and lovin' here, so it's not too bad. Meowmy said she's going to find me the perfect forever home where I'll never be lost outside with nothing to eat again.
I still haven't told meowmy if I like other cats or dogs yet, but she said as soon as I tell her, she'll tell you. So ask about me if you'd like some royalty to join your home.

Fun loving, I'm a typical intelligent super playful snowshoe gal. I love a good game of chase, tag and hide and seek, so if you have a young kitten, or a guy that can keep up with me, bring him on - er, I mean, take me home! My only bad habit? 12/16/18 - Four years and counting! Vixen is still her mischievous self and keeps us She always wants to be involved in whatever we are doing, and loves chasing treats that I throw. The neighbors always ask us when we will be going on vacation so they can come take care of Vixen. I finally compressed a couple of photos of Vixen and Dakota - clearly they are buds (especially in the winter, when this old house gets drafty!).
Thanks again for all you do and for connecting me with such an awesome cat!
12/6/17 - Wow, has it been three years already? Time has flown by. I moved in early 2016, and she took the new surroundings without a hitch. There is a shelf by the refrigerator above the window that she has claimed as her perch and she is often seen up there supervising meal preparations. She and my dog are buddies and now that the weather is colder, she is much more cuddly, wanting to be with me or the dog for our warmth. She is still very playful, loving to chase her treats or a laser pointer or a feather wand, so even with all the treats, the vet says she is in perfect health. I will try to compress some recent photos to show how well she looks.
She is a great cat, thank you!
1/22/15 Just wanted to give you an update on Vixen after having her a month & a half. She is totally integrated into the family (see new photos). My hope, before adopting her, was that she would play with my younger dog. Well, she does! :) They tear through the house (Siri, very much like the video of Vixen & Skeets that you posted) and both look like they are having a blast. Thank you ladies so much for such a wonderful cat!
12/20/14 Siri & Monique, thank you so much for such a great cat! You have provided me the cat I have always wanted! Her new name, Vixen, fits her perfectly! She is playful, happy, doesn't mind the dogs and is already fitting into the family! Siri, you were correct, she is mischievous, naughty and fun! But when she is tired out from playtime, she is content to share my recliner, either on my lap or perched on the back with me and one of the 50 pound dogs. As I type this, she is perched behind me, making sure I write her a glowing report! I truly believe she thinks my fish tank is here for her viewing enjoyment, and she also loves watching the bird feeder in the front yard. Thanks again, ladies for this great and wonderful girl.

JASMINE
Hi, everyone! I'm Jasmine, and I'm hanging out here with my son Dumpling. We're waiting for our furrever home. I was left at a house when my owners moved away. I don't know why because I am super-nice and soooo beautiful. And then some nice people took me in and I had some kittens. Three of them got to go to their furrever homes, and Dumpling is still here with me. We like each other and could stay together or we could go to separate special homes. I like to play, and I come greet foster mom at the door to our room. I like other cats, and even dogs are OK if they know their place. I'm not much of a lap cat yet. I've got too much to do!

Notes from Home
Jasmine is doing great, loves to eat and uses the littler box faithfully. I still have not seen her drink any water, but she does eat mostly wet food and I do add a bit of water to it. I'm home most of the time but of course I don't watch her every second so she may have drank. She loves high places and likes to be in the same room as me and when I'm on the computer she will make her way on top of the high bookcase in that room and watch me or fall asleep. She doesn't like to be picked up, she doesn't scratch she just squirms to get away. Hopefully in time she will be okay with it. No rush she has only been here less than a week. Jasmine pretty much ignores my dog and is not skittish at all. She and Jake are becoming buddies and will play together at times. Oh just one more thing, I have only heard a small squeak from her once...very quiet girl. :)
Jasmine as well will have her vet visit on Thursday Dec. 13 with Dr. Barnes.
Jasmine had her vet visit today, and everything looked great, she's a healthy girl with no issues found!

Hai! I mean 'Hi !'... at any rate, that's how you pronounce my name. Fostermom says to go look at an old "Hai Karate" commercial and you'll understand how I got my name and how totally irresistible I am!
I was picked up as a stray near Williamsburg, VA and I was really sick for the first few weeks I was in rescue. But fostermom stayed on top of me with lots of TLC, and now she can't keep up with me! I'm busy exploring the house and playing with the other kitties when I'm not eating or snoozing. You know... cat stuff. I love playing with other cats and will do best in a home with another feline companion (or even a cat-friendly doggie).
I'm ready to go home now! Ask about me!

Hi,
Sorry if this is a repeat, but my original one disappeared when I was interrupted. Anyhow, Jake (formerly Hai) is doing very well. He eats, drinks and uses the litterbox without any problems. He gets a little skittish when he hears a different noise, like the dishwasher or vacuum, but I imagine he will get used to it or continue to run down the hall to another room. He seems to be indifferent towards my dog, but not ready to play with her yet. He and Jasmine get along fine and do play together sometimes. They both like this tube- like plastic tunnel that I bought for them and love to hide in it and jump out at the other one when they walk by.
Jake will have his vet appointment with Dr Barnes at Eastfield Hospital For Animals on Thursday December 13th.
I took Jake to the vet today. Dr. Barnes found a small spot of missing hair on one of his ears, she said it could be nothing or it could be a fungus, maybe ringworm. So she gave me an ointment to put on it, if the hair doesn't start growing back within a week to 10 days she will do a culture to see exactly what it is and treat him for it. Other than that, he is very healthy!

Quest appears to not have noticed that we lost Loki. But we are not sure what she is thinking. She still sings at night and is now singling during the day too. Wonder what she does when we are off to work.

She is on Thyroid medicine and is doing well with this treatment plan.
November 3, 2018 - we have lost Quest. We were lucky to have had an extra 5 months with her after her diagnosis of lymphoma. We are very sad and the house is very quiet without her singing.

Dail is very active and healthy. He was 4.2 lbs at his Vet visit but is 5 lbs now.
He does not act shy anymore !!! He eats more than his brother and gets in as much "trouble"
He is a great "helper" when I'm cleaning his litter box and playpen. He is not afraid of the vacuum cleaner. He just helps by getting in front of it. :-)
He is talking some now and sits on our laps, briefly.
He loves running around and chasing balls in our living room and ESP the kitchen.
That sweet little face has a lot of "devil" behind it. We love him.
This is Dail's 1 month update. He is over 6 lbs now. He loves to see what is behind and under everything. He still " helps" with cleaning the litter box and the bedroom. He doesn't need the playpen anymore. He does stay in the bedroom at night and when we're away. He is a lover!! Anyone who holds him gets kisses and licks. He purrs whenever he's touched. Dail is more vocal ESP when it's time to eat or when he can't find his brother. His siamese is shining through!! He loves my 11 year old granddaughter. He runs to her as soon as she comes in the door. We love him.
Dail is 9 months old now. He is still a lover and is talking when he wants something or notifying me that the alarm is ringing.
He loves his food, natures variety canned and Blue no grain dry. He loved it in Fl after a few days adjusting to the motorhome. He is my wild boy now that we'rewwwaees back in Pa. More room to run and chase his brother. He weighs 9 lbs according to my scale, not fat but long. He is shorter than his brother. We all play a lot ESP with the cat catcher. They broke the first one so second ryyone has two mice on it. We love him.
Dail was a year old in July and has been in his forever home for 1 year today.
He is 10 lbs now and VERY active. Balls and cat catcher are his favorite toys plus anything new especially if it's in a box.
Watching people and rabbits and birds on the screened porch kept him occupied on warm days and evenings.
He is a lover and a talker. He tells us everything, time to get up, time for treats, time to eat, time for bed, and where Chip is
If I'm looking for him. He is a BIG help when I'm cleaning his box and on the computer. He is so happy when I'm out of bed in am. I get kisses and rubs and told everything, open the curtains. Time to eat. Need fresh water. Then he goes to Paul and he gets kisses and rubs too.
He is a sweetie. We love him.
Dail passed his physical exam on 11/10. His vaccines were given and he weighs 9.6 lbs.
11/2/16
Dail has been in his forever home for 2 years. He was 2 in July. He is a sweetie who loves to play ball and cat catcher. He is fast and determined to get that mouse. He is a very good eater, eats more than his brother, but maintains at around 10.6 lbs according to my scales. I still get to know what is " very important" right now!
He has a check up scheduled for Nov 9 th for exam and Rabies vaccine.
His favorite place is on the screen porch watching birds and rabbits or asleep in the sun. But too cold now so

He can open cabinets and jump over the furniture with us sitting on it.
We love him.
11/3/17
Dail has been a member of our family for 3 Years. He has his yearly vet visit on 11/14 and will get his rabies vac.
Daily is a healthy active loving boy. He weighs around 10.8 lbs and eats well and more than his brother because he cleans his dish and anything left of Chips. Cat catcher is still his favorite toy
He traveled 8000 miles this year, Fl and out west in our motorhome. Sleeps when moving and checking out everything at all windows when stopped.
He makes sure I’m up when alarm goes off. Sleeps with me when cold.
We love him.
12/2/17
Dail had his vet visit. He is 10.9 lbs and healthy except for his teeth.
He had his rabies vac. On 11/28/17 he had dental surgery for cleaning and polishing and 5 teeth removed on bottom.
The vet explained something about the teeth and bone joining?? She said We couldn’t have prevented it. Don’t know the
Medical term
He is doing great. Came home that evening. Started eating later. He is back to his normal self.
Wet food only til next week.
11/18
Dail had a urinary blockage. He was at Vet overnight with a catheter. He came home in the evening and is doing well. He is on a hills urinary diet with stress. He drinks plenty so probably due to his high stress level.
12/12/18
He had his vet visit weighs 11.4 lbs. had all his vaccines. Doing well. Think he is less stressful on his diet. Still the same active boy. Loves his toys esp cat catcher.

WHOA - What's this ? Foster Meowm has finally moved me off Evaluation and onto Adopt Me status !
Ok, so now for some 'truth in advertising' - YES, I'm absolutely beautiful ! I'm not bragging - just stating a fact. But don't let these baby blues deceive you - I'm definitely a project kitty - you might even say I'm semi-feral. I came from a hoarder situation where I just never received much attention or socialization and it takes me a long time to trust a human. So if there's an angel out there who is willing to take a chance on me, they've really got to have lots and lots and lots of patience. And I may always be a 'shadow' kitty in their home although Foster Meowm says I'm showing lots of 'potential' - whatever that means and she calls me a diamond in the rough.
Do you have lots of love to give and are willing to give it without expecting anything from me ? Do you have the patience to allow me however much time it will take for me to learn to trust you (it may be months or even years) ? Will you love me even if I never lay on your lap ? If so, then maybe you're the purrson I've been waiting for.
Oh, and Foster Meowm said I should mention that there's no fees and lots of support for the right purrson.

12/11/2018: Our sweet, beautiful girl, Ariel, died peacefully at home yesterday. We couldn't have asked for a kinder, gentler cat. What a joy it has been to have her in our lives. No cat was kinder or more giving of love and we saw such tremendous change in her during the almost 8 years that we had her. We are grateful to all of the families who had her before she came to us for her forever home and the Siamese Cat Rescue Center for not giving up on her. For all of you who knew her, know that she was very loved and very happy these past many years.
2/27/2011: So, when we got home, Ariel found all the hiding spots in our bedroom. We gave her some time, and then sat with her on the bed for a bit to see how she was doing. After a few minutes, she would slink off to hide.
At around 3am, ‘something’ jumped onto the bed, right in front of my face, let out a yelp, and jumped away. A few minutes later, I heard a meow from down by my feet. She was sitting there, watching me. I gently sat up, and was able to pet her – she even gave me a head bonk. This was totally unexpected, as I’m sure you can imagine. There were no purrs, but she’s definitely a drooler. She walked around on the bed for a few minutes, soaking up the pets. After a few minutes more petting, I tried to go back to sleep, but she kept meowing for attention. Eventually, she let me sleep. By morning, she was back under the nightstand, and wanted nothing more to do with me.
After work today, I got some kneading, head bonks, and some purrs. She's coming around very well. Hopefully, I get a little more sleep tonight.... She's like a kitten :)

ROXY
My name is Kona and it means Lady in Hawaiian. I love to be held and I purr to let you know how happy I am. I also like to play a lot! I was shy and skittish when I first arrived but not any more, well sort of. Foster Mom says I have a skittish nature, but I don't want to be that way, I just can't seem to help it. I am all ready to go home so what are you waiting for?
I do need a play buddy and I must stay inside my transport area. No exceptions.

Notes from Home
Roxy (f/k/a Kona) and Indy (f/k/a Lucky) had a vet check up today. Both had slight heart murmurs, ear mites, a bit of flea dirt (but no fleas). Indy has been picky about food, both have been pretty gassy and stinky so the vet thinks they may still have tummy parasites. Stool samples for both and testing the ear gunk (Roxy had much more gunk). I will update when we get the results from the samples.
Vet will speak to the behavioralist about the nipping/biting. Indy may be teething since he still has some baby teeth. Roxy nips much more frequently than Indy, often when being pet but also when I reach out to pet her.
Except for the vet checkup, the kittens are really happy. They play lots, snuggle with us and sometimes each other. Roxy is still skittish when approached but doesn’t hide at all.
