CHAUCER
Yes, my face is a little quirky, my lip gets stuck on my tooth from time to time - it gives me character, don't cha think? I am a well behaved gentleman in all departments who is a very easy keeper, love to talk if you're interested in listening, and like to snuggle if you're interested in snuggling. I'm dog curious, cat tolerant, and kid friendly. Got any interest?

Notes from Home
Chaucer is settling in very well. He completely charmed the vet, his two new bean brothers, and of course his new Mamoo and Dadoo. HIs feline sibs aren't as charmed yet, but they have made a lot of progress in the past month. They like to hunker down and watch each other, or trash talk at each other. At present, Chaucer only has free roam of the house when we are here, and we monitor interactions pretty carefully. He has loved hanging out in the bedroom with Mamoo and/or Dadoo, and both of us have learned what a wonderful feline nurse he is. In the past month since we had him, someone in the house has been home sick almost every day, with Chaucer cuddled close beside them. We have taken some pictures but will have to take some better ones for a later update :-) I am loved, adored, and totally spoiled (naturally). Even the bean boys are wrapped around my little paw. We adore our small but mighty geezer boy and look forward to many more updates to share with you all.
08/09/2015: Well, since Mamoo hasn’t written any updates on me in a long time, I decided to cuddle up in my Millie Bed in the sun, and dictate to her. Life is good here chez Mamoo and Dadoo. I am now known as Chaucer, which I feel is much more elegant for a gentleman like me. I had a dental and lost that quirky tooth that used to catch my lip, so I look much more sophisticated too. I have developed an extensive vocabulary of meows, howls, and yelps to communicate my demands, and after 4.5 years everyone in the house is very well trained. I am not too fond of the girlkitty here but the meezer boykitty is OK. I share treats with him sometimes. I am really good at batting my pretty blue eyes to get treats often, and I always come to the kitchen when chickie is around. I love bedtime, when I can cuddle with Mamoo, and I call her to bed every night. Dr. Tobin says I constantly surprise him with how well I am doing for a little old guy. He says that he thought I would go to the Rainbow Bridge two years ago when I was so sick, but I really wanted to stay with my family and be loved and adored some more. Dr. Tobin said my family’s love made me well again. Mamoo says I am stronger than I look! Please take a look at my new pictures! I am even more handsome now.

NESSY
I'm a local celebrity. No, I'm not the Nessy from Loch Ness, and I am not a monster!
My story was featured all over the local media because I welcomed two newborn Chihuahua puppies that were rejected by their own mother, and I raised them with my four kittens. We were one big happy family. When the time came for my babies to head out on their own the puppies had tons of people clamoring to adopt them, but the kittens and I were yesterday's news. The great folks at the shelter felt I deserved a lot better than to be left behind in a cage so they called Siamese Rescue and here I am! I'm petite, social, have excellent habits and I love to play. Surely someone must be looking for a young lady like myself, maybe even you?

Hi to all. It is hard to believe our beloved Nessy has been with us a year now. She is a delight in every way! She loves to play and is quite the entertainer. Nessy is very affectionate and loves to cuddle. She has so much fun on our patio pretending to be a "big cat" with the lizards on the outside of the screen. Her favorite indoor toy is crumple magazine pages :) She is very healthy and quite beautiful! Thank you again to all who made it possible for her to become a cherished family member and to brighten our days!

MIA TAI
How about a super friendly???
Do you have a shoulder that I could literally rest my head on?
I love peaceful afternoons, snuggled by my human. I'm very contact oriented. Love to keep a paw on you, your arm, your tummy, your shoulder. Sometimes I have to make some biscuits too.
I'm chirpy and I trill when I see you!
I just want a home where there is not so much feline competition. I've had to live with many cats before and I know how to handle myself. But I really just want peace and quiet and your LOVE!
Please give me a chance to be the One or at least the Few.
I am eager for attention, could it please be my turn?
Mama says there are no doggies here, so let's just say that it's an "unknown" and we want to steer clear of those, unless they are super friendly, like me, and I have lots of high perches. I love to go up high and I LOVE my new window!

Notes from Home
August 6, 2015
Dear All,
It has been a good year and a fast one with so many changes. We added Mia to our lives and retired so things have been just sunny side up for the Robbins' family. Mia is just a joy and so loved as she well deserves. She is happy, playful and loving. She owns our home but is always a lady. She "mostly" ask for what she wants and always says thankful with head butts and lots of purring.
The vet says she is a healthy girl and obviously well loved.
Attached are a couple of new pics of her latest "high" places. Hope you enjoy!
Blessings to all...

Dear All,
The long awaited retirement of Mia Tai's parents is just 29 days away. Yeah! Mia and I have interesting talks about how we will spend our "new" free time with one another. She has specific ideas such as: long afternoon naps in mama's lap and taking car trips which aren't so scary anymore. ha ha
Mia is just one happy, contented sweetheart of a girl. I am so thankful to have her as she brings so much love and laughter into my heart and I to her's.
Happy holidays to all,
The M&M Girls
Mia and Mama

Dear All,
Mia is well and has regained her lost of weight during her health scare. She is a happy, playful cat who has adjusted well and is taking personal responsibility to train her humans just like she wants them. ha ha I finally got a few good pictures of Mia and as they say a picture is worth a thousand words. I uploaded them to her website so I hope you can take a peak. Please know she is much loved and brings so much happiness to our home.
Hope all is going well with you and your individual pets. Blessings, Mia and Jane
August 22, 2014
Dear All,
Mia and I had a bad health scare. Last Friday, August 15, Mia met her new vet, aced the check up and charmed everyone she met. Since I found flees on her the vet gave her a Frontline Tritak treatment on the back of her neck. Saturday, she was not herself, Sunday she was really not herself but I had no clue what was going on, Monday she was at the vet when they opened. They did a full blood panel and but thank God all was good. She was throwing up, not eating or drinking, sleeping all the time and not responding to me at all. We came to the decision she must have somehow while grooming herself gotten the Frontline chemicals on her paws and ingested some it and it was poisoning her. OMG! They kept her for the day and put her on fluids and nausea meds. She seemed better but Tuesday was a repeat so back to the vet for the day. They took x-rays to make sure nothing else was going on (all good) more fluids, nausea meds, force fed her 16 cc of her LTD wet food and they gave her an appetite stimulate. They said she had enough food and water in her system to hold her for two days to just leave her alone and let her rest. They wanted me to call every day to give a report. Wednesday evening she seemed to feel a little better and Thursday I believe Mia turned the corner toward health. She ate some of her dry LTD kibble during the day and had two servings of her wet LTD food, drank water and gifted me with a BM and Urine bundle. She is purring and can't seem to get close enough to me which works just great as this scared the sauce out of me.
As much help as Dr. Mac and her team were so was Mama Rosa. I stayed in touch with her every day and she provided useful tips that were responsible for Mia taking her first dry food and wet food. She provided me with insight and hope that Mia wanted to get well and that I was doing the right things. Thanks again Mama Rosa for being there for Mia and I.
Blessings to all,
The M&M Girls
______________________________
Dear All,
I could write a book, well a short story on the adventures of Mia and mama (the M&M girls) over the last two weeks. Mia is the most beautiful girl in the world and simply adored by her new parents. We laughed last night over how diplomatic Mia has become. When we watch television together, my husband sits in his chair and I on the couch with an end table between us. Mia will visit my husband, pushing her little face into his for attention, stay a couple of minutes and then walk across the table to spend time with mama then repeat this for about 10 minutes or so before she finally ends up next to me on the couch. When we have dinner, she keeps us company by lying on one of the kitchen chairs.
I have gone through an assortment of toys and scratching post until some winners have met with Mia’s approval. Training is on-going as Mia is working hard to teach mama the meaning of her calls, body language and such things. Mia has been quick to learn the best spots to catch the sun and when to ask to visit the screened in back porch so she can watch the bird’s bathing in the fountain under her nose. The hummers now come right up to the screen to watch Mia so there is a lot of mutual admiration going on.
I am thrilled to say; Mia sleeps with me every night and has worked her way from the end of the bed up to my face and sometimes on my pillow. We end and start everyday with shared affection and soft girl talk. We may not understand all the words but we both understand the love being shared.
Mia has allowed me to trim her front nails, clean her ears a couple of times and has allowed me to comb her “a littleâ€. She will get to meet her new vet, Dr. Ann MacCormac this Thursday, August 14th. Dr. Ann specializes in cats and worked in a feline only practice in Baltimore for many years so we hope she will be, excuse us, the cat’s meow…
All humor aside, please know that Mia is a much loved child to my husband and me. She is being loved and cared for to the best of our abilities and we each seem to be winners in the loving family we are becoming. We will not forget the loving role each of you played in helping us find one another.
The M&M Girls…

LAYLA
Part Himmy and part Siamese, that makes me extra special. I have the most gorgeous foofiness about me and a purrsonality to match. It's even possible I am the mother of the three youngsters here with me - Dimitri, Pookie and ChaCha. I am a quieter well behaved gal who loves to be groomed, loves to snuggle in your arms, and is soaking up all the attention I didn't get in my first home, where I was just ignored. You may have to encourage me just a little bit at first, but I think I could get used to this people snuggling thing really fast! And I really like other cats too and would like someone to snuggle with please! (Dog inexperienced, might be okay)

CHACHA
Super friendly and snuggly ragdoll type kitten who must go with a cat buddy as I love other cats as much as I love people. I'm a quieter kitten, not the wild child normally expected, and absolutely adore to be held and snuggled, oh, and brushed! I'm great in all habits and ready to go!

Notes from Home
I can't believe it's been almost three years since I adopted Shosty! We're like an old married couple now; I know him and he knows me and we know what the other's going to do before they do it. He's not a velcro meezer (which is okay), but is does like knowing where I am at all times! I'm pretty sure he thinks he's a person, too, because he loves "people food", especially bread and pasta. I don't feed him any on purpose, but if I leave anything out on the counter unsupervised for even a second, he jumps up and steals it.
He has a little brother now, a shelter cat from Brown County who was being kept at the Petco in Bloomington so more adopters would see him, I think. It worked, because I fell in love with him (and he with me) while I buying food for Shosty. He was really, really skittish when I brought him home, but Shosty helped him get acclimated by taking the lead and showing him there was nothing to be scared of, because Shosty isn't scared of anything except hair dryers. The new cat (Remy) is a few years younger than Shosty, but Shosty is more than capable of keeping up with him, and I think he's happy to have a playmate. They chase each other and wrestle but it looks like it's all in good fun and Shosty doesn't whine with boredom in the middle of the night anymore.
We moved back to Georgia last year, and now we live with my mom in her house. They bully the family cat, but we've figured out a really good routine where they get the run of the house at night when the family cat goes into my mom's room to sleep on her bed. If they get to do that, they're pretty happy to stay in my room during the day.

DARA
Hi there! I'm Dara. That's
"D" for Darling.
"A" for Adorable.
"R" for Rambunctious.
"A" for All yours.
Foster mommy says there should be a "T" in there for Talkative. Hey, I've got a lot to say! I'm still a little girl, but I should be ready to go home by the end of July. I prefer not to travel too far to my new home since I am rather "D" for Demonstrative about my Dislike of carriers.
