AUDI
Just arrived and foster mom already knows I am a headbutting loving fool. I am living up to the flame reputation by being a laid back loving boy. One of the other fosters came running in to check us out and I just wanted to play with him and be his buddy so other cats shouldn't be a problem. We will get integrated next week so then I will meet the dogs too. Better ask about me because I am too nice to pass up.

Hallo from Stuttgart, Germany!
Xiao Hu (Audie), Chinese for "LIttle Tiger" as I like to jump in the shower with dad like a Bengal Tiger swimming in rivers is doing well, All the family loves him... though he really likes racking out on dads tummy whenever he is asleep... we are buddies! Xiao Hu can be quite mischievous and likes it when people "chase" him. He hangs out with his friend Bao Lin (Nadia) and he has a "little" sister named Romy... Romy is a GSD mom and dad got when she was a puppy from the German state of Bavaria. Romy loves to clean Bao Lin with her big tongue whenever Bai Lin rests on the couch and Romy especially loves Xiao Hu... Romy is very protective of all her family members. We have been in Germany since 2008 but will be moving back to the USA sometime either the of this year or next July 2016. MOm and dad make sure all our medical examinations and shots are up to date and have got us European Union pet passports to boot... so we can travel around Europe as well. Mom and dad wish to sincerely thank the Rescue Center and all its people who make things happen... you each make a difference is this world by helping those animals who could not help themselves otherwise. Hallo from Stuttgart, Germany!
Bau Lin is doing well, she is a shy and quiet girl who loves to be petted. She enjoys sunning on the perch dad built near the window for her and her friend Xiao Hu (Audie)... SAVANNAH
It was a dark and stormy night and I was desperate to find a nice warm, dry place to have my babies so I took a chance and went up to a house and meowed and meowed until the nice person inside came out. Luckily I picked the right house and she let me in and a few hours later I had three beautiful babies. All of my babies weren't Siamese so I had to wait until they didn't need me anymore before I could get into Siamese Rescue and here I am! I am friendly and outgoing and I like dogs. I've been a little busy getting to know this place to sit still for a photo shoot but check back soon or better yet, get on my list and Foster Mom will update you as she gets to know me better.
PS - I need to stay within my transport area.

Notes from Home
Things have been going well with Savannah. She has adjusted to her new home and is fully in charge. No real problems with behavior or otherwise. She has is very focal when she wants food or attention but that was expected. We are working with her food, from all wet to a split of wet and dry which she seems to be tolerated well. Our Vet gave her a thorough check up and no issues. We went ahead and did the fecal test for worms and it was negative. Picture attached.
11Feb14. Things have continued well since the last update. No behavior or other problems. She has had her yearly Vet visit/shots and has even spent a few days in the local boarding kennel. Seemed no worse for wear and no related attitude problems normal after boarding. She has gained some weight and seems to enjoy the food we have her on. Still unsure why she left her last home, but she is a joy to have here.
13Aug14. No issues since last update. She is well adjusted to her new home and is fully In charge of the humans that live there. Had here checkup last week with the Vet and received her boaster shots. She now weighs in at 8 pounds and looks fit. She has a good appetite and is vocal as would be expected. I have attached photos.
11Aug15: No issues since last update. She is doing well with no medical issues. Check up is scheduled for next week but do not anticipate any issues. If issues arise, will provide update.

BLUE
I'm very sick and in the hospital right now. My vet is working very hard to make me better so please keep me in your thoughts.
Update:
All your thoughts must have worked because I home with meowmy and feeling so much better that now I can tell you some of my story. I was living outside with a group of feral cats and our caretaker noticed that I was loosing weight and I smelled. She took me to a vet, where it was determined that I had a raging infection in my mouth and needed most of my teeth pulled. The caretaker couldn't afford to pay for all that so she turned me over to the vet in hopes that I would get the help I need. The vet contacted meowmy and she said she'd do what she could. She appealed to her "rescue" friends and one sweet angel said she'd pay for my vet care if meowmy would help get me into Siamese Cat rescue, so that's what was done.
I came to Meowmy after having most of my teeth pulled, but still had a raging infection and was in pain from my dental. The pain meds that were given were just a bit too much for me and I was totally zonked out from them. When meowmy realized something wasn't right, she rushed me to her vet, where I stayed for 7 days. I could have come home after 4 days, but some awful white stuff fell from the sky and meowmy couldn't get there to come get me.
Now that I'm back with meowmy, I'm getting stronger each day and braver, too. You see, living indoors was all new to me, and though I love meowmy petting me, I was scared of all the new sounds and sights. Seeing the other cats here, though, made me feel safer.
Next, meowmy said she need to find me my own indoor forever home, and she said she'd help me become so brave that I'll be happy once she does. Do you think your home might be a good place for me? If so, ask about me and maybe meowmy can help you figure that out.
Update: 5/8/15- I' so brave now and stay out of hiding most of the time. I wrap myself around meowmy's legs for attention and even enjoy some lap time. You'll have to earn my trust, but I do come around, and the best part is some sweet person has already paid my adoption fee, so I'm ready to go!

SALLY
I enjoyed my little vacation to the mountains, and I'll miss the doggy I met there. So much for my summer romance.
But, it is time to get serious about finding my fur-ever home. I would like a furry friend of the canine persuasion. I am not very comfortable with my own type. Dogs are cool, but remember, I RULE.
I come across as an angry girl, but it is all a big front. When I first meet someone I will growl and hiss WHILE I am rubbing on your ankles and playing with toys. The contradictions are all part of the test.
O my gosh, O my gosh, I found a dog of my own! And a DAD and a mom. The whole magilla!
I am going home to live the happily ever after dream. Thank you SCRC.

Notes from Home
Sally seems very happy in her new home. She is not completely trusting of our dog, Casey, a 15 pound poodle/terrier cross, yet but she is very tolerant of him. She is free to roam the house, is very curious, has explored every nook and cranny, up and down, and purrs and rubs up against us, jumps up next to us when we're sitting down. We are careful about petting her--she still lets us know when she's had enough. She is eating well and using the litter box. I think she and Casey will be good friends in the not too distant future. Casey is not under any constraint either and he doesn't harass Sally but is curious. We do put Sally in her "safe" area when we have to leave the two of them home alone. Sally is a beautiful kitty and we are in love with her already.

Notes from Home
Well I got the notice that it is Zarah's one year anniversary. To all involved in Zarah's placement - THANK YOU! I entered the calendar contest (hoping to get a slot for Zarah/Carlee for final Christmas presents for my dad's friends) and have copied the story and pictures for you to enjoy. -
Zarah – VA10169 was selected from all the wonderful rescues on the Siamese Cat Rescue Center site by my 88 year old father (Carl Lee). Living in Maryland we searched for a cat in the tri-state area and selected a cat in Williamsburg, VA (about a 3 hour drive). Other adopters were ahead of us for this cat and we were encouraged to look for other cats in our transport area. We had seen Zarah – a cat in South Carolina but we didn’t expect that transport would really include travel from South Carolina to Maryland. Well, it did and after the assistance of her foster mom and several volunteer transporters we received Zarah in the Richmond area. Before long I realized the treasure that came into my life. My dad and Zarah were inseparable. She followed him like many dogs follow their owner and would sit at his feet when he stopped and jump in his lap when he sat down. She even retrieves toys like a dog – friends laugh and tease saying “maybe someday she will barkâ€. As much love as my dad bestowed on Zarah, her presence in his life provided him happiness, companionship and a new source of conversation – I no longer got a daily report that he was bored or lonely. My dad died on January 1st and Zarah is now my joy. She follows me as she did with my father and when I sit she is in my lap purring and offering me comfort. My dad attempted to find a good name for Zarah. He couldn’t find one that “fit †and since she was always with him he really didn’t call her anything. In January, I found the perfect name for her - “Carleeâ€. My father included Carlee in his estate plan and she is also included in mine. Thank you Siamese Cat Rescue Center and all of your volunteers!

Notes from Home
Aster is the SWEETEST and most AMAZING little Meezer girl! She adapted immediately to her safe room when she got home. She ate and played and used her litter box without spending any time in hiding. After the first night in her safe room, her big brother, Casper, was PRETTY suspicious and curious. He wondered what in the world was going on in there? With a hiss-hiss here, and a mew-mew there, life got very interesting, very quickly! Gradually they'd were introduced to each other. Being the kitten that she is, if Aster had her druthers, she'd probably be chasing Casper 24/7! In two very short weeks, Casper has "shown her the ropes." Each day, we see them bonding more. And, individually or together, they are more entertaining to watch than TV could EVER BE!
Once we'd made the decision to adopt Aster, and before she arrived, we were admittedly very nervous, wondering if we were doing the right thing, bringing in another kitty, and how Casper would be affected. Overall, he seems to be doing quite well. We are SO HAPPY to have this darling little girl in our lives. And ultimately, as time goes on, we think Casper will be fine.

CHAUCER
Yes, my face is a little quirky, my lip gets stuck on my tooth from time to time - it gives me character, don't cha think? I am a well behaved gentleman in all departments who is a very easy keeper, love to talk if you're interested in listening, and like to snuggle if you're interested in snuggling. I'm dog curious, cat tolerant, and kid friendly. Got any interest?

Notes from Home
Chaucer is settling in very well. He completely charmed the vet, his two new bean brothers, and of course his new Mamoo and Dadoo. HIs feline sibs aren't as charmed yet, but they have made a lot of progress in the past month. They like to hunker down and watch each other, or trash talk at each other. At present, Chaucer only has free roam of the house when we are here, and we monitor interactions pretty carefully. He has loved hanging out in the bedroom with Mamoo and/or Dadoo, and both of us have learned what a wonderful feline nurse he is. In the past month since we had him, someone in the house has been home sick almost every day, with Chaucer cuddled close beside them. We have taken some pictures but will have to take some better ones for a later update :-) I am loved, adored, and totally spoiled (naturally). Even the bean boys are wrapped around my little paw. We adore our small but mighty geezer boy and look forward to many more updates to share with you all.
08/09/2015: Well, since Mamoo hasn’t written any updates on me in a long time, I decided to cuddle up in my Millie Bed in the sun, and dictate to her. Life is good here chez Mamoo and Dadoo. I am now known as Chaucer, which I feel is much more elegant for a gentleman like me. I had a dental and lost that quirky tooth that used to catch my lip, so I look much more sophisticated too. I have developed an extensive vocabulary of meows, howls, and yelps to communicate my demands, and after 4.5 years everyone in the house is very well trained. I am not too fond of the girlkitty here but the meezer boykitty is OK. I share treats with him sometimes. I am really good at batting my pretty blue eyes to get treats often, and I always come to the kitchen when chickie is around. I love bedtime, when I can cuddle with Mamoo, and I call her to bed every night. Dr. Tobin says I constantly surprise him with how well I am doing for a little old guy. He says that he thought I would go to the Rainbow Bridge two years ago when I was so sick, but I really wanted to stay with my family and be loved and adored some more. Dr. Tobin said my family’s love made me well again. Mamoo says I am stronger than I look! Please take a look at my new pictures! I am even more handsome now.
