SKEETS
A little cattitude, I'm an imp, a jester, a rascal, and an opinionated Siamese! I had to throw that last part in so you know I know who I am :) I might do best as the only cat if you want supreme loving with a touch of cattitude; I could go with another cat but it's going to be tough to find the right one (watch my videos to see how I behave, I can get out of hand). With a person, I am a snuggle bear, playful, healthy loving one year old, good in habits; I only occasionally throw a tantrum when you make me do something I don't want to :) You should be an experienced Siamese owner, agile in mind and body, with a decent amount of time to play with the feather wand and watch my acrobatics!

Checking in! Skeets had a GREAT summer...nipping behaviors diminished and when her does do them, not like a big surprise...usually provoked. Had a great time with his sisters...continues to love his wands. All eating and toilet habits good...did put on a little weight, keeping an eye on that.

Many nights sleeps with me...loves watching wildlife in the open windows...Loving him to Pieces! Robyn

PARKER
"A Hunk A Hunk of Burning Love".

This sweet big boy is looking for a loving family who will enjoy an easy going laid-back kind of guy. He says he will be the first to meet and greet your company. He doesn't talk a lot, but he will give lots of rubs and purrs. He is somewhat independent so he can do his own thing while you are gone or busy. On his wish list is a comfortable place to perch so he can look out the window. He says a home with older child/children would be especially nice.

He has had a complete blood screen and all looks great, so he is ready to go to his new home now. This may be the meezer that you have been waiting for.

Does this great fellow sound like he might fit into your family? If so, please inquire and we will send you more detailed information. This special guy won't be around long.

Parker had his first vet visit and all the ladies in the office loved him. They called him gorgeous and beautiful and he took it all in stride. He cried a little when I got him in the carrier, but once we were in the vet's office and he saw the resident office kitty he calmed down. He is in good health and has lost almost half a pound. The vet would like to see him lose a little more so I will keep measuring his food and counting the treats. But I must admit it is very hard to resist that cute face when he begs for treats!

He is also very curious and investigating all over the house. He has picked a few favorite spots and most of them are in front of windows so he can watch the birds, the neighbor kids playing, and even a few bunnies.

He also helps with chores (check out the picture of him in the pantry). He is never far from my side and has no fear. The vacuum cleaner doesn't even bother him.

He is such a joy and it feels like he has been part of the family for much longer than 2 weeks.

TIPSY
Hello,

I just got here, with my sister, Angelina, and I want to go home with her, as we are already best buds! I have a voice and will use it when I don't see her.

Meowmy said we'll be ready for your home in about 3 weeks, so ask about us quick, if you want us to come and grace your home with our presence!

Purrs,

Tipsy

ANGELINA
Hi! I just got here with my brother Tipsy, and want to go home with him, too.

I'm healthy, have neat litter box habits, a good appetite, and a loud purr. What's not to like?

ZIGGY
A loving pair of bonded brothers, front declawed, we've lost two owners now over our lifetime and are hoping the third time is a charm. Our previous homes were certainly charmed, but our 'Paw" got called early to the Rainbow Bridge and now we're left sad, a bit irked, and confused by the entire thing. We have tons of information about us, are fully vetted, come with adoption scholarships and lots of goodies, and just need a loving quieter home with someone(s) we can lap sit with endlessly. Please?

What can we say about Ziggy, and his brother Zappa??? We celebrated our two week anniversary yesterday, and things are going GREAT ... they came right out of their crates when we got home and even though we had them sequestered with a baby gate upstairs, Zappa jumped the gate so we just let Ziggy follow. Within an hour, they had explored the house and were already rubbing up on our legs for chin scritches and kisses. By dinner time, they were on our laps and they slept with us that night (and every night since!), even pawing to climb under the blankets.

Ziggy is a bit more "wary" with hearing the front door, etc. but he loves attention, too ... just a little more on his own terms. He loves looking out the window. He is independent and yet very bonded with his brother at the same time. Both of them follow us downstairs for breakfast, or into the bathroom just to have the company. He has the sweetest cry, and looks up at you with those big, blue eyes just asking to be talked to and touched. If you bend down to pet him, he falls over so that you have to get down on the floor with him – and rub his belly, of course!!

Both Ziggy and Zappa went to their new vet for the first time today – apparently Ziggy has the gold star gene for dental hygiene. The vet was very impressed! He is a little overweight … nothing too alarming but we will work to drop a pound or so in the coming months. He travelled home much better than going once he realized that we weren’t giving him away again, that we were bringing him back home. He wanted to be picked up and cuddled back at the house and couldn’t stop cooing his thanks. It is us, however, who are most grateful.

Yeah, we are very, very happy ... feel like this was fated. They were meant for us and we were meant for them.

ZAPPA
Two bonded brothers who will make an instant family for someone! Declawed in front, fully vetted, and here in Rescue due to the death of our owner - is there anyone out there who would love two big sealpoint boys, lap sitters, squawkers, larger sized lovers? Lots of information to share if you click on them; a retired person or peoples, particularly good with males, they are eager to get home!

By dinner time, they were on our laps and they slept with us that night (and every night since!), even pawing to climb under the blankets.

Zappa is super social and cuddly and playful. He pulls out his own toys and climbs on laps and loves company! (He actually prefers to be cradled with belly rubs vs. laps!) Both of them follow us downstairs for breakfast, or into the bathroom just to have the company. He would love to go outside to roam but we don’t allow that … working up to a harness in the yard but he shall remain an indoor cat.

Both Ziggy and Zappa went to their new vet for the first time today – we already knew they were in great health but it was nice to meet their new doctor. Zappa is down one pound and just a half pound shy of where we would like to see him, so that is good. He is a chronic licker but the vet is convinced it is simply psychogenic alopecia – completely symmetrical, and not at all harmful. It calms him. We have decided to go off medication for a couple weeks to see what, if anything changes. Zappy is super happy to hear that! (No more bitter liquid after-dinner chasers!)

We are very, very happy ... we love our new family, and feel like this was fated. They were meant for us and we were meant for them.

Notes from Home
I feel so blessed to have Evangeline in my life! Evie has settled in wonderfully, and she and I have become fast friends. Everyone who has met her has commented on how beautiful and sweet she is, so I feel extremely lucky to have her as my kitty!

Evie loves to play, and her favorite toys are the plush mice and balls and crunchy balls I leave out for her. She also loves to sleep in the sun, so I keep my blinds open every day so that she can enjoy the sun and look out the window. She follows me around and is quite talkative, but it makes living by myself feel a lot less lonely. I also receive plenty of purrs and headbutts. :] When I come home from work, Evie is right by the door to greet me, and she tries to follow me out because she doesn't want me to go. A couple of weeks ago, she started sleeping in my lap and giving me kitty kisses. She also likes to sleep next to me at night. Most mornings I wake up to see her by my head, by my side, or curled up by my legs or feet. She's an absolute joy to have here with me, and I make sure to spoil her. :]

We visited the vet about a week after she came home, and we're so lucky to have a vet who has worked with Siamese kitties! When the vet asked me where I adopted Evie from, she had nothing but praises for the Siamese Cat Rescue Center. I have to agree. I can't thank SCRC and all of its volunteers enough! You do wonderful work, and because of you, I have found my lifelong best friend! I know for sure the next time I adopt, I will be coming back to SCRC. :]

Evie sends purrs and kitty kisses your way, and she wants to tell you that she loves her new home and her new mommy. :] Thank you again for all you have done to make her the happy kitty she is today!

Notes from Home
Mewgatu and mom recently moved into a spacious 2 bedroom apartment down the street from where we were before. We have a roommate and mom's boyfriend/his cat dad, who he loves the very most! Mewgatu and dad like to go on walks around the apartment together, looking out windows. He loves hamming it up when we have company over, plopping in the center of the room and showing off his tricks (he "meerkats" and shows you his belly). He loves the laser pointer, cat milk, cat nip, and anything with feathers. He loves napping on the stairs and on mom or dad's legs. He's recently become talkative not just to say he wants something, but as a back and forth exchange, e.g. "What are you doing Mewgatu?" "
"Brrrow!"

Mewgatu is a bundle of personality, affection and entertainment. He is so loved!

DOODLES
Heeey! Heeeey! Pay attention to me! My name is Lullaby but I am anything but sedate. (That's a big word for a young cat, isn't it?) Well, I have my moments of snuggle time, but I'm really active, too. I am very smart, and I loooove to interact with people and with other cats. You'll never meet another kitty like me because I'm extra special. Why? Well, aside from the facts that I'm a sleek, muscular, handsome young boy, and that I have enough character to go around the world several times, and that I'll be your loving companion and tickle your funny bone... I have slightly limited vision. I can see lots of things, including toys to play with, my food, my litterbox and how to get around the house and hop up on the bed. I love life and everyone, cat, dog, people who come by to see me. Can I come live my awesome life with you?

Notes from Home
Doodles is the best kitty ever!!!! He's everything we dreamt of since the moment we saw his little face smiling at us from Cats up for Adoption pages. Yes, he has issues, but I think that has made everyone in this house slow down. I once read a story about a woman who gave birth to a Down Syndrome child. The letter said it was as though you thought you were going to England, and you wound up in Holland. Both have their wonderful points. We cheer every time he doesn't fall down the steps, we smile every time he walks with that funny stiff legged gait, and every time he falls asleep on our chests. I would not change a thing.

I cannot believe that Doodles is going to be six years old! he acts like such a kitten! We love him so much! I wish everyone would consider adopting a special needs cat like Doodles. We have had him for five years now, so he has basically grown up with his young owner, Mide. She's 16 now, and very busy, but every night she grabs him and brings him up to bed.
