MERCEDES
Hello - Biscuit maker #1 here wanting to get to know you. My sister, Iris, and I just arrived at Hotel delShue this weekend. Hey, we fit right in, since we are both stunning blue lynx snowshoe babies. Our claim to fame here is the fact that we can make more biscuits than any two other cats in the house. You see we are both polydactyl kitties. I have seven toes on each foot in the front and six toes on each foot in the back. I'll tell you, that's a lot of toes, but HEY, if you want some heavy baking to go on in your hosue with lots and lots of biscuits made, all you need is the two of us. We'd really like to go home together as we are pretty dependent on each other. If you know much about lynx kitties, snowshoe kitties and polydactly kitties, you'll know that they are all usually laid bhack and easy going. That's us, AND we are still the BEST biscuit makers ever. Be sure to ask about us if you'd like to have 50 biscuits made on you at a time!! Purrs and headbutts, Daisy

Hi Everyone,
Mercedes is also doing great. She is still the more shy of the sisters but she frequently comes to us and demands attention. She also loves to play with the feather toys and is quite the acrobat. The attached picture was also taken in the Spring in her favorite spot.

I'm here with my brother Frankie and my parents as well, all four of us grew up in the same household. I'm very easy going and could go home with either Frankie or Tommy! I love them all, actually I love just about everyone!

Notes from Home
We have just discovered that Lily Belle likes to have her belly rubbed. She has taken over the wing back chair in the living room, the sofa in the family room and she sleeps between us on our pillows at night. She also likes the leather chair, but her absolute favorite place is Sherm's lap. She is a treasure and a real delight to us. I will try to upload a picture, but may have to resort to emailing you a picture instead.
She and Biskers do not fight, which is great. Biskers wants to be friends, but Lily Belle ignores him.
We met some of the center's volunteers at the DC cat show and showed our support by purchasing a few items. We understand that Tommy and Frankie were adopted. I do not think you are charging enough for the cozies. The cozies are fabulous.

BUDDY
They found me in a colony of feral cats - hey, I'm not feral! They knew that, and hung on to me until Siamese Rescue had a space open - so here I am! I'm a sweet, sweet boy who LOVES attention. And I LOVE to play both with other kitties and my toys. I need a feline play mate to go home with. I'm a rough player though (not mean or aggresive just a rough and rowdy guy), so no little kids and no shy or really old cats. So if you have a kitty that needs a chasing buddy, or a wrestling buddy, and a buddy for YOU - then I am your Buddy!

Buddy has been living with us for a couple of years now, where he goes by the name Milo. He's a goofball and we love him very much. He and my 8yo daughter are especially close but he's great with both of my children. My 10yo son loves to chase him, and Milo chases right back. We also have a pet rat now and he and Milo seem quite fond of each other. Unfortunately, our older cat just passed away after a brief illness and Milo is not happy as an only cat. We will be looking for a lively young playmate for him soon!

Notes from Home
Jersey is settling in very nicely. He has already selected several "spots" for napping and enjoys gazing out the screen door for hours on end. My girls adore him and he is a big hit with their friends as well. After an afternoon playing with the kids, Jersey takes a long power nap in one of his spots. One of his favs right now is to sleep in one of the American Girl doll beds. It now has Jersey's blankets and pillow on it. The girls like to spoil him.
He sleeps with my husband and I at night, normally up beside me. The first night he was here, I woke up to him grooming my hair.
What can I say, we love him to pieces!

COPPER
Copper is a very sweet 5 month old flame point. He was turned into the local shelter as a stray. He is extremely affectionate, loves to purr, crawls into my lap, sweet boy. He needs a playmate that isn't too old as he likes to play and wrestle too rough for the geezers meezers. He is currently getting over a kitty cold. Don't miss out on this very sweet boy :)

Maliboo is doing great. He's had no trouble finding the litter, eats very healthy portions, and is Mr. Mischief's new boy-toy. He's slyly trying to get close to Diva-Mia and she sometimes lets down her guard for him. I forgot how energetic kittens are. On a sad note, for the first time in 5 years I do not have Mischief dogging my heels constantly. I have to look for Maliboo to find Mischief! Thanks everyone for making this happen so quickly.

SOLOMON
I was very happy in my home, and my mamma was very happy with me. So why am I here? The doctor mamma went to was not happy with me - and after a long time trying, mamma finally decided that the doctor was right so here I am. I have been well loved and well cared for - I've been in the family since kitten-hood. Right now I'm a bit scared with all the changes, and leaving my loving home, but I'll adjust. I lived with a little dog, and we played together. Not sure how I am going to feel about other cats, but we will start to find out soon. I would like a quieter, adults only home - kids scare me and make me hide. Being a very sensitive sort, I'm going to take some time to settle in but after I do I'm a marvelous cat! We will see how I do with other kitties - I have been sniffing them under the door, but that's it so far.

Whiskey (yes, he no longer goes by the name Solomon) is doing great! He loves it here in Arlington, VA and he feels right at home. He is very cuddly these days and always begging for attention when we get home from work. He loves to meow and curl up with us on the couch. He enjoys having his belly rubbed and he also loves to kneed our bellies! He is still shy when we have people over, but he jumps out to play with us as soon as they're gone. He is a silly boy and we love him so!
