Anima is happy and healthy. She loves spending time with her other adopted Siamese "brother" Hershey. She also loves sleeping with the other four legged friends, her two Miniature Schnauzers she lives with.

LITTLE BLUE
I'm Lucy, a bunny soft, beautiful sealie girl.

It's a close call as to which I like best - getting petted or getting fed. I spent some of the winter outside so my body coat is still a little dark from those cold NE temperatures. It also helps explain why I'm still so worried about where and when my next meal will be coming. I'm great in the litterbox and unlike some others in this household who shall remain nameless, I'm not a counter surfer.

I've met the other cats (aka - the counter surfers) who live here and I mostly ignore them. I could live with another cat who didn't bother me but I would be just as happy being your one and only, not having to share your attention or any of my food. I would miss the opportunity of licking all the other cat's bowls clean though - no cat food goes to waste with me around.

I will pester Foster Mom to get more pictures but in the meantime - hit that button and ask about me!!

Notes from Home
6-23-14 It is our one year anniversary and Blue is doing great. She is the perfect companion for me - sweet, loving, but definitely her own girl. Every month she has revealed more pieces of her varied personality. She loves sitting in the sun, eating, and playing with her "plague rat" toy. She is very friendly, curious and really smart.

Notes from Home
Hi Everyone, Miss Ooh La La says hello from Indiana and she is getting on so well. She is into everything and I don't think there is an inch of my home she hasn't inspected. She sleeps with me every night and I think she has been in her Millie bed twice! She seems to be enjoying her new home and her routine for playing and eating. Thank you to everyone that took such good care of her, she has truly found her forever home, we feel fortunate to have her!

MISS DAISY
Please!! Do you really want a curtain climbing counter jumping kitten? Nope...well consider me!

I'm wise and experienced...and very smart. I won't stand aside for any other females and want to reigh as Queen Bee. Someone has to be in charge and I've decided it will be me regardless of where I reside.

Typical confident seal girl personality....looking for someone that knows the definition of FOREVER please.

Love,

Daisy

Notes from Home
Hello Everyone! Miss Daisy went to the Vet yesterday and checked out fine. Her ears had some debris from the previous infection but no living bacteria. Katy Lewis our vet put in some medicated ointment to help clear the ear canals but other than that she is fine. There was some mention of a caugh but Daisy has not shown this yet. She eats well, is resting comfortably in her own room for the moment and will introduced to Leonardo sometime in the coming week. I am not sure when the Siamese Vet report was to have been sent to our Vet but as of yesterday afternoon they had not received anything. We brought what documents we had but in case there is something else please arrange to send the complete report to: Wilmington Animal Health Care, 6801 Gordon Road, Wilmington, NC 28411. Fax and e-mail is 910-791-7906 and e-mail is www.wilmingtonaminalhealthcare.com. Will keep you posted on the progress.
Regards, Carm and Cele Tomass

MIYA
Hi!
I'm Miya. I was turned into a shelter when my owner developed allergies after 5 years of living with him. Geez!!!!! that shelter was a scary place, but it's not too bad here so far, except for that bath. Meowmy must have thought I was stinky or something, but I feel good now, especially the brushing she gave me.

I need a little time to get settled here, but can't wait to have a real forever home. Think maybe it could be yours?

Ask about me and maybe it could be!

Purrs,
Miya

Notes from Home
Miya continues to improve and is starting to explore the downstairs area. Last night while I was in the bathtub, she jumped in James' lap while he was snoozing in the recliner. Thinking it was our other kitty, Bronx, he opened his eyes and was quite shocked to see it was Miya (he was so very excited!!) She stayed with him for a while and then he picked her up and introduced her to the 2 dogs. The greetings went quite well. This morning while I was getting food bowls fixed, I heard a sweet voice and was surprised to see it was Miya in my kitchen! I believe she has been coming downstairs to explore while the dogs are in the crate for a while now because she looks very comfortable and familiar with the surroundings. So, she is starting to become a bigger part of the family and we are so excited! I'll update again later and hope to get a picture soon.

6/19/14 - Miya has become part of the family and has chosen my husband as her favorite. They are frequently found snoozing on the chair together or I will wake up at night and she is laying on his chest or side in bed. She and my boy cat, Bronx are also now friends and the dogs cause her no worries. We are all one big, happy family. I am sending a recent picture of Miya and Bronx in the cat tree in front of the window.

LOUISE
First Prize: Most Promise

I've arrived! I mean, I finally have it figured out! You see, if you sit under the cage all day, nothing much happens. Life passes you by and all you get to see is feet. So I took a chance. Out I came, meowing in my petite 6 pound voice. And hey, it worked! I got tons of attention, and now I've got it figured out! You meow, you follow someone around, and eventually they sit down and let you climb on their lap and purr and purr and purr! So that's what I'm doing these days, and if you're looking for a petite sealy gal with a purrsonality of gold, that would be me!
Notes from Home
Hi everyone at SRC,
I already have my appointments with my doctor and my yearly visit with my tooth doctor . Right now I am an only kitty because my brother passed away. Mommy and Daddy think they will wait to add a bro or sis because I am very happy as a one and only! I can boss my Daddy and Mommy around without interference. I can stare my Daddy into jumping up and checking my food, I play hide and seek behind the shower curtain with mommy and jump out at her, I plop down in front of the door so they have to step over me to go out, and purr and purr.

I know they love me lots because even though I have cat scratches my favorite places are their chairs and sofa.

I want to thank you for taking care of me until I could find my forever home. My mommy and daddy think all of you are the best.

Love,
Loulou

P.s. I was renamed Loulou after my grandma Lucile! My mommy' mom. She thought I was very special too!

OLIVER
Just arrived and settling in easily. I'm a little timid at first but warm up quickly and have a deep purr. Like to be brushed. Not sure about other cats yet but update will follow. Foster mom will update my info as she gets to know me better and once I'm dry, she should get some additional photos.

Additional note: Blue Gene has a healing bite wound. Because of this - he must be combo tested again on May 14 to verify that he is FeLeuk/FIV negative. He cannot be adopted (go home) until this has been done.

Notes from Home
Oliver's one month anniversary is today! He has adjusted to his new home amazingly well. He loves to play with his wand toys but he has also discovered small whiffle balls with bells inside. Oliver chases the balls and brings them to us to play ball. He wags his tails like a dog and follows us all over the house. He loves to be petted and brushed - he purrs in anticipation of being petted. He is so friendly and loving. And, he's a talker (and we talk back). He is very smart and seems to understand what we are saying. Oliver has perfect litter habits and eats well (he is not picky and has eaten a few different wet foods we have tried).

We are just so thankful that Siamese Rescue matched us with Oliver! And, a special thanks to his foster Mom Kay for caring for him during his transition to us.

p.s. Oliver is getting a Siamese Rescue sister on Saturday.

KOBI
Here I am, back in rescue. Could not believe I was getting a bath! But, I did allow it with much grumbling. It was said I didn't get along with the others. Right now I have a room of my own and waiting to find out how I do with the residents as soon as my isolation time is up. I do enjoy being around humans and love to rub against you and purr. Like to play laser tag which keeps me moving, There is lots to love. Please ask about me.

MARCI
I decided after 2 days of hiding that it was time for me to come out & show what a nice girl I am! My foster meowm offered me some treats, which I LOVED & then she offered a place on her lap, which I LOVED! I think she's learned how to crack my shell of secrets!

So are you looking for a pretty seal girl? If so, I may just be the ticket to being the love of your life! Go on & ask about me, as you will not be disappointed!

Purrs,
Marci
Notes from Home
Marci has settled in so well here in Brooklyn! She is very talkative, friendly and affectionate. She sits on our lap and plays with her toys, and has the cutest mannerisms - she loves having her belly rubbed! She has a little bed next to our bed, but we wake up most mornings to find her curled up at the end of ours. We really could not have asked for a more perfect and wonderful cat. We're a happy family!
