DIXIE
Hi all, I am one of those sweet, calm Siamese that just love to be petted and adored. I haven't been here long but foster mom says I am a great cat. I am looking for my forever home because forever hasn't been very long for me so far. I raised my kittens and took good care of them but now it is time for me. Won't you give me my forever home?

4/13/2014 Dixie is doing great. She is truly the most loving cat. It took a little while for her to stand up to our older cat but today they nap, groom and play together daily.
12/9/2013 Dixie is still doing great. She is truly part of the family.
12/9/2015 Dixie is still the sweetest loving cat and a happy part of the family.

ALEX
Lost my home when my elderly owner couldn't care for me anymore, and taken in by a kind lady. But I was terrified of her dogs, so she sadly got me in to rescue. I'm very sweet, and only a little shy. I purr and I'm friendly, but her cats scare me. I would like a home where I woudl be your one and only baby, even if I'm a big baby. Watch for updates and better pictures - I'm a big boy so you better have a big lap.

Our Alex has come a long way. He is drinking and eating very well. He sleeps on the bed. He uses his litterbox. He even lets me hold him. Once in a while, I even get a meowee! He loves to play. He is a very sweet boy! We couldn't have asked for anything more. We love our Alex! Thanks again to everyone that made this possible!
Cindy & Sarah
3/13/2013 It's been a little over a month since Alex has come into our lives. He is wonderful. He will have his first wellness checkup at the end of the month. Alex loves to go into cabinets. We have set up a bed in his favorite one. He also loves playing with towels. All you have to do is roll it up and put it down and he'll play with it for awhile. Since Alex has been on the Wilderness/Blue Buffalo/Halo dry foods, his coat is brighter/softer and the dander is gone. I also find he doesn't shed as much. Alex loves to nudge you and give head butts! He is getting more comfortable everyday. We love our Alex!
Thanks again!
Cindy & Sarah
6/13/2013 We are a liitle over 4 months since Alex has been with us. He is doing quit well. He is all over the house now. He rarely hides anymore. He loves to sit in the window and look around outside. He has been eating wet food for lunch, along with Wilderness/Blue Buffalo/Halo dry foods. He is now playing with cat toys. He loves to wake you up and follow you around. He is a real pleasure to have around. We love our Alex. Headbuts to one and all.
Cindy & Sarah
8/4/2013 We are one happy family. Alex is a happy camper. He is now meowing and very comfortable in his enviroment. Forget the expensive toys, he'll go for foil balls and crumpled paper and he likes to play with hair ties. He likes to play follow the leader. He loves to lay on towels. Every once in a while you'll find him under the bed, but he doesn't stay there. He also likes to take a nap in the cabinet. He loves to wake you up. He is a real pleasure to have around. We love our Alex. Headbuts to one and all.
Cindy & Sarah
12/8/2015 Alex is a wonderful cat. He has really come a long way. He is up to date on all his vet needs. He had 2 teeth pulled and had lost 4 pounds. He is very active and still loves to play with my paper, pens, hair ties and foil. He has a wonderful disposition. He is very lovable and has become a lap cat. He has come a long way from being shy to this outgoing wonderful boy. He has become more vocal which is nice to hear. We really love our Alex! Headbuts to one and all!

IVY
I am a very sweet girl who is coming out of her shell. Arrived very scared but now outgoing and affectionate and playful. Good with other cats and dogs. Should not go to very active household as it may be too much for me. My markings are a bit unusual because I arrived a bit on the hairless mode due to flea allergies so not typical lynx markings. Very Siamese personality.
Purrs, Ivy

Ivy is doing just fine. She is so loveable and sweet. She loves to play with her little mouse toys. She runs and chases them all over the room. She is now coming up on the sofa with me and lay down. She also loves to sleep with me. I am so very happy and so is ivy. She is eating like a champ. I have found that she likes the salmon classic frisks food too. She like the Christmas tree light. She likes to look at them. Her little pink cube thing we got from you. She loves to play in that and chase her mouse. The pink things goes with her when she runs through it. It is so cute wish you all could see her go playing. Thank you all so very much for all that you all did for me and my Ivy. I am so glad that she is my little girl. Thanks again. Mary Richards.

Athena is a perfect little kitten and definitely gives Atticus (another Siamese rescue) a run for his money when playing! Thank you to everyone who helped us get her, she is such a joy!

We'd like to give you an update on both Atticus and Athena. They are both doing fantastic, and are definitely best friends. After adopting Athena, they quickly became "in sync" as we like to say, having taken on many of the same mannerisms. Both are very healthy and go to the vet on schedule. I've attached a picture of them both in our bed.

ATTICUS
I'm already a traveling dude. I was born in California and all my siblings found homes out there, but I was supposed to have a home here in NC. Then that home disappeared so now Siamese Rescue is helping me look for me new home. Will it be with you?

7/19/11 Newest update:
I apologize that it has taken so long for me to respond (but hopefully you viewed that as a good sign!). He is great! He has so much character, personality and a great demeanor. I am a lucky Meezer owner. Lastly, i swear he is half siamese and half bear, he is huge!!! But I think that makes him that much more of a character. Thanks again for all your help!
Here are some of the latest pics. As you can see he loves to sit up on the tv stand and watch the "Cleveland Show"! He also likes to fall asleep with the remote next to him on the couch.
He is such a character. He is HUGE. I'm used to Siamese cats rationing themselves with their food but I got to watch out with this guy! He is mostly just long and large overall, he isn't overweight. I haven't weighed him since his initial visit to the vet when he was a kitten. All my visitors adore him (even the men!). He really is a cool cat.
Overall he has long fur (not as long as a Himalayan). His fur over this shoulders and hips (i guess that is what they are called) is very soft, almost down-like type of fur. He has little fur sprouts on the bottom of all four paws.
He is spoiled, not only by me but everybody he meets.

MIYA
Want a kittie that likes to play? I love to play! Everything is a toy to me, and I love chasing little balls and all those crochet toys that are all over here. And I've learned that you can even play with other cats - I didn't know that! Foster mom says I have quite the sense of humor. And I love people too - I purr and purr, and really like to be with you. I'm not a lap cat, but I am definately one who likes to hang out with you, and follow you around. I use my litter box, I use the cat tree to sharpen my claws, and I've got a healty appetite. I don't like aggressive cats who'll chase me, but I am starting to like the nice ones who live here. I'll keep you entertained for hours, so ask about me, and take me home!
I'm spayed, microchipped, up to date on my vaccines, healthy - hey, I'm all ready to go home, so ask about me!

Notes from Home
We still call her Miya but she still doesn't answer to it. Miya is doing very well healthwise. She had her teeth cleaned and one tooth extracted last month. She seems much happier now. I think her tooth was bothering her as it was one of those reabsorbing situations. She still does not like to be picked up and doesn't respond to her name but she does seem to like petting more and she is more willing to play with a feather toy. She usually goes in for the kill.
She tolerates Kumar but would probably be just as happy as an only cat. If Kumar squawks when getting stepped on which happens occasionally because he is always winding around our feet Miya attacks the dog. She is a fierce Mama cat.
She likes all the pet beds we have around the house and especially likes the cat condo in the window. She is not afraid of people and will lie comfortably in the middle of the living room if we have company. We had a dog visiting for 2 weeks recently. After an initial wariness she didn't seem to mind.
Last year she ate and threw up part of an Easter Lilly so we took her to the vet as I had no idea they were poisonous. She survived the rather expensive treatment and was fine.
She is a beautiful cat. I only wish she was more cuddly. Not sure I ever submitted this from a past submission.
Sorry this is confusing. I am adding new info on Miya here. She just had her teeth cleaned and did very well with only 1 extraction. She is more interactive now that Kumar is gone. Seems to enjoy being petted more and you can usually find her in the same room where we are. She has a funny habit of sitting on the chair behind my husband and grooming his hair. Only his hair, no one else. She loves the Siamese Rescue doughnut beds (as does the Pug). and spend time moving to different ones when not in her wicker chair at the kitchen table. When we are sleeping she hangs out under the bed and greets us on the chest at the foot of the bed when we wake up. She is a low maintenance cat who gets friendlier with each passing year. Just don't try to carry her around. I will try to remember to submit a photo.

ZAPP
A little taken aback as I've been bounced around a lot in my short few years, I'm hoping to find a place I can stay this time! I'm going to need someone with patience, for while I'm friendly, interactive and playful, I'm also suspicious, defensive and scared. So I'd like to go into a home,be given a little time, and trust me, I'm going to be come a real lover! I might do alright with another cat, but she needs to be a strong lady as far as personality goes, outgoing and confident!

Zapp is very happy in the new home. He has a lot of energy and loves to play. When it is time to sleep he comes to our bed and sleeps on the pillow between us. This brings warm and cozy feelings.

Notes from Home
Endora has a new name! We are calling her Moomin and we are both madly inlove with her!
She is still a little bit shy and likes to hide under the couch whenever there's too much going on in the house, but at the same time she is the most snuggly and cuddly little kitty who sleeps on our feet at night ( or sometimes Nathan's head, ha!). She has become very playful and likes to run amok at night, chasing shadows or imaginary friends or whatever it is she sees.
We took Moomin to the vet on Sunday for her checkup and everything looked great except her ears that were full of gunky black wax. But the vet cleaned her ears and she got some ear drops, so hopefully that will clear up soon. Her armpit also seems to be healing but we got some drops to put on that as well to help it heal. We are going back to the vet in 2 weeks to check on her ears and armpit, so I will keep you posted.
And I'm sure you know this already but she is absolutely gorgeous!!

BOJANGLES
I am done with iso and met most of the other fosters except for the ones who don't want me to meet them :( I love all the other kitties and want to play. I talk a lot and am very loving. Foster mom thinks I have some allergies going on so that is not resolved yet but we are working on it. I love toys and I love food so I am on a limited access intake. Don't need a diet but foster mom says I don't want to go there - geez - I'd love to go there :)

Notes from Home
I don't think Bojangles needed any adjustment period to his new home. From the moment he came out of his carrier he did nothing but purr. His nickname, other than Bo, is "BIg Love". Really, such a nice temperment and always wanting to be noticed. He has a typical Meezer voice that makes me wonder if there are extra small children in the house. He also uses it to get your attention, which is all of the time! He likes to rough and tumble with his new friend, Napper Tandy, and although she holds her own at 3 lbs lighter, he is very good about not getting too rough with her. Bojangles is a hoot in the bed! If he is not trying to kill your feet and legs under the blankets, he is snoring up a storm. I did not know cats could sleep so deeply. This guy also has a voracious appetite. By the way he cries in the kitchen you would think we starve him, but his rounding physigue tells otherwise. If you are having a meal, he thinks he needs to join you. And I thought kids were hard to keep fed!
12/2/11 Beware the cat that climbs the inside of the Cmas tree!!!!
12/19/11 Bo's little wheeze has all but disappeared. The vet thought it could just be a really late resolving cold. He is fit as a fiddle now, not that it ever bothered him. Still snores at night though! Typical Bo fashion he already dug his Cmas present out from under the tree. It was unfair of me to cover it in catnip and wrap it in tissue just begging to be discovered! It is actually a dog toy that is shaped like a flat ferret, with no stuffing, but fuzzy fur and little squeekers in the head and tail. Bo, has loved it up something good already. He played with it all afternoon yesterday and continues to drag it around the house. It was brought to our bed this morning - nice and soggy from all the attention.
1/28/2012 Mom says I am demanding, but I know she loves to hear me talk. I don't like it when she lounges in the bed too long on weekends, so I give her butt a bite. Sometimes she still does not get the hint and I have to rub my wet nose all over her face to get her attention. I am the King of the castle, but my minion Napper Tandy sometimes give me a run for the money. I steal some of her food though, so I guess we are even. I love it here, but am getting curious about what is outside that front door. Whenever I make a break for it, someone drags me back inside - it is a good thing as one day I almost ran into the rain.
11/19/14 Bojangles is trying to pack on the weight for the cold winters out here in So. CA. He is becoming quite the actor when it comes to behaving as if he was not fed just five minutes prior. I wasn't born yesterday! Still as sociable as ever, but is becoming even more lovable, but still not into lap sitting. Part of the reason is he really likes to spread out when he lounges on his back. I have never seen a more relaxed cat. Flat ferret is still his best friend and you know you are in good with Bo when he delivers ferret to your door or has ferret waiting for you eagerly when you arrive home in the evening. Bo still has his testosterone rages though and likes to take it out on little Napper Tandy. Luckily she is quick and nimble and won't put up with this attitudes.
11/30/2015 Bo could have been a cowboy with the way he swaggers around the house. he definitely rules his roost and wants his humans to know it. I think he has personality confusion with wanted to be a dog the way he follows us around. He really would like to play with Napper more, but he is too rough and gets rages, so Napper won't tolerate his antics. On his last visit to the vet he was complimented on his clean teeth (who knew by that breath!) and his beautiful coat. He is very fluffy these days.
