PHOENIX
Hi there, I'm Spark. My story is the same as so many on these pages. My brother , Skip and I were just left to fend for ourselves when our owners upped and moved. Thank goodness for caring folks who took us to the shelter where Siamese Cat Rescue was called.
Meowmy says I'm a typical laid back loving boy, with a purr loud enough to hear across the room. The only thing I didn't like so far about this place called a foster home was my bath. I squirmed and yowled like a banchee, but now I have to admit, I do feel so good and smell so nice now. Of course I had to put the finishing touches on by completely going over every square inch of me with my tounge to make sure no spot was missed.
If you'd like a handsome, loving fella like me, just hit the ask about me button to get on my list.

Notes from Home
When Phoenix arrived he was the most outgoing and affection kitty. At that time it was the complete opposite of his brother Horace. Over time Phoenix has increasingly become more affectionate & laid back... however, he is oddly becoming timid of things especially strangers. Phoenix loves to have his belly rubbed and to be carried like a baby. He enjoys sleeping with either me or my daughter. He even meows when he feels it is time for us to go to bed and will not stop until I lay down in the bed so that he can get on the bed and lay down on me. Phoenix isn't a huge talker like his brother, but he will talk when he wants something to eat, a belly rub or for you to go to bed with him. Phoenix "Spark" Smith is a wonderful blessing for us. Having Phoenix & his brother Horace has been an adventure for our family. We love them both!

HORACE
Hi there, I'm Spark's brother, Skip. My story is the same as his and poor meowmy is having a hard time telling us apart. I am sweet and laid back, love attention, love to eat, amd good with my litter box, and love to be petted. Don't I sound purrr fect?
If you think so, you can ask about me, (and maybe my brother too,) and get on my list. I sure would like a home that's forever this time.

Notes from Home
Horace is doing amazingly well. He was a bit timid when we first got him but he has become very loving and outgoing. He actually would never purr and we finally got him purring about after a year of him being home with us. He would never jump up on the bed or couch with us and we couldn't figure out why... well one day, after some coaxing, he finally jumped up on the bed with me (like he was waiting for permission) and he has got up on the bed now ever since. He is still coming more and more out of his shell in the affection department. He used to be timid whenever we had company, but now he greets everyone with rubs. He is definitely a late night talker... he LOVES to meow all through the house late at night until someone acknowledges him or talks back to him. Horace spends most of his day chasing his brother, playing with my daughter, meowing and of course sleeping. We're so blessed to have Horace "Skip" Smith a part of our family.

ALFRED DOOLITTLE
A little loving,
A little snuggling,
A little hiding my head.
A little licking,
A little purring,
A little sleeping in bed.
I'm a Momma's boy looking for someone to take care of me! Don't mind other cats if they'll be nice to me!

Notes from Home
4/2/16 Can't believe it has been 4 years already! Alfred Doolittle is my shadow. Since I work from home, Alfred is always close by sleeping in his "nest" right beside my desk. I think his favorite toy is his own tail as we have chase tail time multiple times each day. He will roll around on the bed chasing his tail until he falls off, then just jumps right back up for more! He is a clown in a cat suit!
3/14/14 Alfred Doolittle has been home for just over 2 years and he is my little lover boy! When I am working in my office, he is snuggled into his bed right beside my desk. Once or twice a day he comes visiting for cuddles, then right back to sleep for the afternoon. Some days, I think he is made of Velcro because he loves to be stuck to me, but he is such a joy! He and Gus get along so wonderfully, I can't imagine our home without them.
11/17/13 Time for another update from Alfred Doolittle. I really enjoy my day sleeping at the side of meomy's desk. I love spending my day with her in her office. Then at night I cuddle right up on her shoulder to keep us both warm. I am such a snugglebug!!
4/18/13 I keep meomy company every day. Don't I look like I am working hard?
3/9/13 Alfred Doolittle has been home for a whole year now! Wow did time fly!! He has blossomed into such a love bug!! He and his brother Gus get along great and will call each other when it is time to play (it is fun to just sit and watch these two). Purrfect company!
11/12/12 Alfred Doolittle is doing very well. He and his brother Gus get along nicely. Both are very playful and Alfred has become quite the character! I still refer to him as a clown in a cat suit! Alfred is now much braver when company arrives. He will sit on the stairs (easy to run and hide if he thinks he has to) but he is curious so he's just out of reach. He loves to snuggle and headbutt!
6/25/12 Joy....that is how I describe this guy! He is still a little shy of strangers, but has come around so well! They love to be on bird watch and squirrel patrol! New pics!
6/18/12 Time for a 3 month update on Alfred Doolittle. He and Gus get along wonderfully. He is still a bit shy of strangers, but he has warmed up to us and is my little cuddle bug (on his terms of course)!! He is still my ‘clown in a cat suit’ and he is so funny to watch when he is playing! I could not have asked for a better pair of boys!! They are wonderful!
4/27/12 My clown in a cat suit! This guy is such a clown!! He is very playful, but he is also very loving. He still gets spooked by loud noises and sometimes by sudden movements, but overall, he is doing wonderfully. The boys love to sleep in the chair together, grooming each other, napping, then spontaneously exploding into a wrestling match! Love them!
4/18/12 Another couple of weeks has passed and Alfred Doolittle is doing very well. He still gets startled easily, but he has blossomed! I caught himgiving his brother Gus a little bath yesterday! I love how they are always looking for one another and play a bit rough and tumble, then just stop and sleep for a little while! More pictures soon.
3/23/12 Alfred Doolittle is blossoming!! He is such a love. He sleeps on me every night. It is so wonderful to be greeted by my boys when I get home from work at night.
3/14/12 Alfred Doolittle is settling in just fine. He is a love. We are so appreciative of all the volunteers that made it possible for him to come home. Siri, you did it again! Perfect match! I can't thank you enough!

GUS
I NEED a HUMAN !
I'm a young guy, ready to snuggle and purr with you. I didn't like the hustle and bustle of my last home, so perhaps a quieter home. I'm not telling if I want to be with another cat or not. But I do know that I like the doggy that lives here!
More later as I settle in here.

Notes from Home
4/2/16 Where has the time gone? Gus has been home just over 4 years now and he is doing great! He is affectionately known as "Supervisor Kitty" and he takes his job seriously! Anything happening at home is sure to be inspected purrsonally by Gus. Such a happy boy - he loves watching the birds and playing with his brother Alfred Doolittle. When it is playtime, you can hear him calling for Alfred with his play-time voice.
3/14/14 Gus has been home just over 2 years now, boy does time fly!! He is such a good boy! He LOVES watching the birds and squirrels. It is so funny to hear him calling for them if they aren't around. One of these days, I'll capture it on video so I can post it. It is a treat!
11/17/13 Hi! It has been a while since we gave an update, but Gus is doing great! One of Gus' favorite activities is bird watching (and bird calling too). He sits on his perch at the front windows and call the birds each morning because he loves to watch them at the bird feeders just outside! Watching Gus and his brother Alfred Doolittle wrestle and chase is always sure to bring a smile to my face! My two precious babies and I want to say "Thank you Siamese Rescue for all you do!".
4/18/13 Check out the new picture! Meom works out of the house now and I love it!!
3/9/13 Wow! It has been a year already! Gus has blossomed into such a fantastic cat. He is curious, loving, playful - overall a wonderful addition to the family. I love to come home and see him in the window talking to me as I come up the walkway! Such a nice Welcome Home!
11/12/12 Gus is a very friendly, chatty playful boy. He loves to follow us around and wants to know everything that is going on. He will answer to his name and has learned how to fetch his toys from the toybox, He is precious!!!
6/25/12 I gotta say, I think Gus and Alfred Doolittle knew each other in a previous life! They get along very well and are both so precious! I love their antics and they keep us laughing all the time! New pic added.
6/18/12 Hi, it’s Gus. Thought I’d drop a line and give you an update since Meom left her computer running while she is doing some housework. I usually help her, but I’m taking a short rest. We’ve been home just over three months and things are going Great! Alfred Doolittle and I get along like we’ve always been together. We like to wrestle a bit, and chase each other around, but we also like to watch the birds and squirrels too. If you are quiet, you might even catch us taking a cat nap together! Oops, gotta run! Purrs, Gus.
4/27/12 Gus is both a laid-back and fun loving boy! He absolutely adores his brother Alfred Doolittle. If not within sight, they are calling one another. He loves to be brushed and will beg for a brushing......asking for multiple brushings every day! I think he likes it even more than food!
4/18/12 Another few weeks have passed and Gus is doing very well. While our home is fairly quiet, these boys definately liven it up quite a bit! I actually caught Alfred Doolittle giving Gus a bit of a bath yesterday. They make us laugh all the time! More pics soon.
3/23/12 Gus is doing wonderfully. I love to listen to him 'talk' to Alfred Doolittle. Plenty of coos and little meows. They have adjusted well. They look for one another and want to know where I am at all times! Both are so much fun! A couple of new pictures too!
3/14/12 Gus is settling in just fine. He and his brother Alfred Doolittle are getting along quite well. I love to watch them both chase the feather wand and play on the round about!

Notes from Home
Hello All!
Andy has settled in perfectly into our home and has become like a child to us. He is a cat with so much personality, never ending energy, and has so much excitement when it comes time to play. Sometimes we question if we adopted a toddler! We have never experienced a cat like this before with so much character. We are truly fortunate to have had Andy placed into our hands.
We've learned very quickly not to leave glasses of water behind, because he will claim them as his. We've also learned that he loves to play "tag" with you as you're walking up the stairs. He also enjoys games of "peek a boo" with you as you hide your face around a corner- However, you must act quickly or he will creep up on you and tap your face gently. Andy loves to play. He will never deny you play time, unless he is doing his daily morning bird watch- then he must not be bothered. Andy is attached to both of us. He picks on mom and teases her but is quick to run to the door when he hears her car to greet her. With dad, they are the best of pals. Dad is his king and will listen to anything dad says. Those two love each others company.
As far as medical, we have taken him to the vet a couple times since we adopted him (check up and nail trimmings) and each time they say we have a healthy boy with good looking gums! His teeth were a concern for us in the beginning, but so far so good. We also have finally broken him out of his sad eating habit. During the first month, Andy would eat his food all in one sitting and minutes later get sick. Long story short, we got the idea that he maybe wasn't fed often at his former home since he always "stored/hid" his food after he was done. After getting an auto-feeder that continually drops him proportioned food and showing him that he has a constant supply, he no longer binges! He still continues to "hide" his wet food at night, but we let him be. As long as he is fed, not getting sick, and happy, we're happy!
Everything is going great with Andy. He has adapted quite well and is very comfortable here at home. We are very happy with him and glad that it is us who were able to give this boy a new home.
-Emilio & Krystal

HAICHU NABOO
I love dogs. I love dogs. I love dogs. I love dogs.
I love dogs SO much that I :
play with them
sleep with them
groom them
lay on top of them
lay under them
nibble on their ears
I love dogs SO much that I had to leave my last home because the dog, who did love cats, got a bit overwhelmed with my constant adorations.
Don't get me wrong, I love kids, cats and people too, and have no politics at all.
But I sure love dogs......

Notes from Home
I started calling him Nabee when I got him as I did not care for Haichu. He has taken to the name quickly. Nabee has been with us now for two years and I have fallen so in love with him. He is very loving and likes a lot of attention, likes to come in the bedroom in am and nibble at my fingers and me hand wrestle with him and to cuddle with me. He often sleeps behind my head where i make a spot for him. He likes for me to carry him on my shoulder. He is a very gentle and loving creature who is completely trusting and has totally captured my heart. I love him dearly. He is the only one now that my other cat has passed. Perhaps when he is a little older I will bring in another.
He has a cat tower and lots of toys and esp likes the little furry mouses i buy him that he plays with at night and scatters all lover the house. :) I feed the birds and squirrels at the side sitting/flower garden area , which he can see clearly through full glass and loves to watch them.Nabee is very smart and picks up on things very quickly. He does not like being left alone for long and since I work at home it is much easier on him. He remains on his l-lysine which seems to help him and has not had a URI since i have had him. When he starts sounding to congested i give him a half of the Chlorphenamine for a couple days and that seems to level him out. Everyone who meets him or sees a picture of him just loves him. Here is a recent pic of my sweet boy at Christmas.
He has been taken off additives and is getting a high quality cat food now both wet and dry, and boy does he love to eat!
He has now come into his full coloring and weighing in at 13.5 lbls. With his huge blue eyes and soft as silk coat and markings , he is beautiful.

RORY
Well, I've moved to my new foster home, no big deal. I am just hanging out in the foster room, waiting for my foster parents to come in and pay attention to me! I just can't get enough attention! I'm still in isolation, so not sure if I like other cats or not, but I can tell you one thing - I luuuuuuuuuv my foster Meowmy. If she sits down I am right on her lap. Sometimes I climb on her and hold on to her shoulders so I can give her face rubs. She'll tell you about me and other cats when she can let me meet hers .

Rory has a new name. Her name is now Zoe but we call her Zoe-Zoe (and Doe-Doe because she's "special"). She is such a sweetheart. She and Allie (now named Boogie) love to chase each other around the house when they are not napping. Even though Zoe is getting older, she hasn't slowed down much. She's going to break our hearts one day. But, I'm sure that there will be another waiting to take her place.

ICARUS
I am a handsome lover boy who loves attention and affection, and will give you the same back! I love to look into your eyes and head butt, and will sleep on or next to you at night. I like to give hugs, and even be carried around. If you let me, I will ride on your shoulders! I also like to talk to you when I am hungry for my special food. I love kids, but sometimes I get over excited with my attention and foster mom thinks young children would not be good for me. She will tell you more about that. I can't wait to have my own family to love and dote on!! Please ask about me!

Notes from Home
Icarus settled in immediately when we brought him home. It only took him about an hour to stake out the place and find his favorite spots and warm up to us. Unfortunately when we got him I ended up catching an upper respiratory infection the day after; he still followed me around and kept me company throughout the sickness.
He is the friendliest cat and everyone that has visited our home has fallen in love with him, even those that were adamant about their dislike of cats. We weren't a huge fan of the nickname "Icky" even though he responds to it. We decided to officially change his name to Bo, short for Beauregard. He is learning his name, though he already has too many nicknames to count.
Bo is definitely very food-oriented and since the weather has gotten nicer he is very outside-oriented. We open the windows for him so he can climb into them and stare at the random birds and bugs that fly by. We just got a large cat playpen/cage from a friend, so we hope to let him outside in that on nice days. He has been pretty adamant about getting outside, though when he escapes thankfully he doesn't go far.
All in all, Bo is doing great! He's definitely a unique cat in both coloring and personality. I did get him to play fetch with me once, but it must have just been a lucky day. He loves his wand toy and the ball track we have and when he gets a hold of catnip he just races through the house. We're trying to get him out of the habit of waking us up at 4am, but otherwise we love him dearly and are so glad we get to come home to Bo every day.
