Notes from Home
I will try this again Kiwi has settled in very well, she plays well and investigates every thing. She likes to sit by the kitchen window and watch for squirrels and rabbits along with anything else that moves. She likes to sit on the back of my office chair when I am at the computer. She also likes to go under the covers on the bed, I had a time changing the sheets the other day as i had CAT LUMPS! She likes to play with her toys, except she ocasionaly looses one of them, especially her mouse.. I will send pictures by regular email as I cannot get them down loaded with your program, I have no brouse-button for my picture file. She blends well with visiters.

THOMAS
Foster mom just shakes her head, and says she can't understand why I was taken to the shelter in the first place, and why I'm not on the "pending" pages. She says I am just the nicest, nicest guy anybody could ever ask for. The excuse my former family gave the shelter was "too rambunctious and picked on the female cat". But I'm a good boy. I stay away from the geezer who lives here (I respect her!). I sleep and play with the others here, and even the hissy seal female who foster mom says is a brat likes me. I'm curious, I'm purry, I love attention, and I sleep with foster mom every night. I use my litter box without fail. I'm very brave, too. I caught a mouse for foster mom and dad the other night - so I would protect you too! With all that to recommend myself, don't you think you should ask about me?

Notes from Home
Thomas wanted everyone to know how happy he is with us in Pennsylvania!! He is such a character and full of personality! But he does have a little problem with a cat nip addiction...but rehab is not an option at this time as he has cut back on his usage (or so he claims!) We just love him!! Thanks to Siamese rescue for this very happy addition to our family. He is in good company with 3 other Siamese rescue meezers: Amber 13, Toby almost 10, and Henry 8.
This is Thomas' 6th year with us! He is a wonderful Meezer! He still has a little catnip problem, but he tells us it is "under control" lol He keeps company with our 3 other Siamese resucues, Amber 16, Toby 13 and Henry 11. They are so dear to us! Our home wouldn't be the same without them!
This is Thomas' 8th year with us. Where does the time go!! He's doing well and has turned into a real snuggler! He is great company!

BUMBLE
I'm sitting by the telephone, hoping someone dials my number. I tried dialing out - you see I had a horrible experience prior to coming here - my owner passed away and no one found her, and we (my feline sibs and myself) tried calling for help but no one came. So we waited and waited and finally someone came along, but needless to say it was really stressful and sad. So I am REALLY appreciative if you would just pick up that phone and give me a jingle, and maybe a little loving along with it?

Notes from Home
I realize it's been a LONG time since my Beans brought me home, but they've been very busy making certain that my new brother and I are happy and comfortable!
On my first trip to our nice doctor, she found that I have a very irregular heartbeat, and off I went to another doctor, who found that I have Cardiomyopathy (severe scarring and enlargement of two heart chambers) and I will be on daily medications going forward. The meds seem to be helping my heart work a little easier, which makes me feel better and have a bit more appetite, though I'm still a VERY finicky eater (admittedly, I take some pleasure in watching my people jump through hoops to find what I might like next)!
My Beans shower love and affection upon me, which I'm learning is a GOOD thing, and I now seek them out throughout the day, so that they can give me love and treats, which I so greatly deserve!
I love to be up high, and there are plenty of bright, warm, sunny, soft spots all over the house for me to lounge around in!! I also love to snuggle with my brother and love my catnip toys!!
All in all, life is very good here in NYC, and I'm happy with my gentle, loving family!!
Warm Purrs and Snuggles, Bumble
Our sweet Bumble (ne "Smokey" VA 9195) succumbed to cardiomyopathy on Tuesday, October 6, 2016. He and Waldorf were wonderful, sweet "step brothers", who brought each other comfort through their life-losses. We miss precious Bumble and love him always.

Notes from Home
As of 4/23/13, Waldorf (ne "Ivan" VA3488) is doing well. He's got mild diabetes, and is on a low dose (<1 unit) of insulin twice daily. He also has the very beginning stages of CRF, so he's sub-Q fluids every 36-hours. He misses his beloved brother Statler (ne "Skipper" VA3489), who we lost to renal failure on 10/17/10. Dorfy looks forward to hopefully making a new furever friend soon! Waldorf (ne "Ivan" VA3488) succumbed to congestive heart failure on Saturday June 27, 2016.....he crossed the rainbow bridge and is with his beloved brother, Statler (ne "Skipper" VA 3489). We love and miss them both so very much, forever.

Notes from Home
Bento is the sweetest cat. He loves to be held and always comes when called. He loves to eat and lay on his back with his legs up. Sometimes he thinks he's a little dog, running around the house with a favorite toy in his mouth. He's an amazing little guy.
04/28/2016 Bento is the top dog in our household. Everything belongs to him and he chooses what he wants to eat and when you will play with him. None of us can resist his charms or demands. He's very smart as evidenced in the photos, always studying on the computer and he loves to empty the printer of paper. (We have to keep the paper tray empty till we need to print because he has figured out to hit the print button. And all that paper that's spit out from the printer is the most fascinating thing to him.)
