COSMO
I just got here.
I am doing really great, eating, drinking, and using my litter box like a good boy!
I just needed a few days to settle in but I decided like it here at foster mom's!
Foster mom says I am very sweet and gentle.
I REALLY LOVE LAPS!!!! I will sit on a lap all day long:)
Foster mom is going to let me meet the other kitties that live here and explore the house really soon, once my sniffles are gone.
You can ask about me now:)
You will be glad you did!

Notes from Home
WThis Sunday will be Cosmos 3 week anniversary with us,and he is doing great. He is totally and happily adjusted, and I am so pleased at how quickly he seemed to feel right at home and comfortable.I am equally happy at how Cosmo and Willow took to each other, they have become fast friends. It gives me such pleasure and joy to watch them play together, sleep together and wash one anothers face.A perfect match! He really is a sweetie and we love him.I really aprreciate and thank Siamese Rescue and all the dedicated volunteers who brought Cosmo to us.Siamese Rescue does a wonderful job and is a real blessing and god send to all the beautiful kitties who find their way to you.Cosmo and Willow sWWend their best meows and purrs to all,and again many thanks from me.Sincerely,Diana. Here it is August 13th and five months since Cosmo's been here, and he is doing terrific. He is the sweetest most lovable little guy, well behaved and the perfect gentlemen! "Willow' is so happy to have a brother to play with (as I am),they are such wonderful company for one another. They make me laugh with their antics and I can't help but smile just to see them. They are my two treasures and I love them..Thank you again Siamese Rescue and all the kind Fosters and a special thanks to Ginny Boyle, who is always ready to lend me her ear.Bless you All,Diana
Here we are celebrating Cosmo's 6th month anniversary and he (and Willow & I) are doing just wonderful. He is an absolute angel, the most easy going, laid back, sweet gentle little soul,a perfect kittie, who is no trouble, quite the opposite,a real joy! One would think he and "Willow" have been together since birth, they are quite the twosome. They play, chase, jump, hop in the air, wrestle and tackle, very entertaining,I love watching them!Too cute. But when Willow's had enough and wants to stop, she lets him know, and being the gentlemen he is quietly steps aside, then as both are conked out will snuggle and take their catnaps. He really has made our little family complete.
He is still a little leary when visitors come and will keep his distance, but is slowly coming around. But the biggest breakthrough for me is how well he is with "Jake",my nieces Shih Tzu,when he comes for sleepovers. When its time for lights out, they know, and we all get in the bed together, and I can't ask for more than that!
Many thanks again to everyone at Siamese Rescue and special thanks to Ginny Boyle,my interviewer and new friend! Bless you all for the wonderful work you do .
Here it is Cosmo's 1 year anniversary and I am delighted to report he is doing wonderful, healthy, happy and enjoying life..He is without a doubt the most gentle and sweetest soul, with an easy going, laid back disposition. But he still loves to play and wrestle with his best buddy "Willow",they're like two peas in a pod,a perfect match.
Cosmo celebrated his first Christmas with us and he was very curious when all the decorations came out and the tree trimming began,he had to investigate and check everything, than sat very interested ,watching all the goings on,but soon grew bored and left for his catnap!(which he is a pro at)
Cosmo,Willow and I have settled into a comfortable routine, and looking forward to the lazy days of summer and some serious birdwatching!
They really are my little angels, who constantly bring me joy, laughter and entertainment!! It"s all great!!!
Here it is Cosmo's 2nd anniversary and he is doing great! Healthy, thriving and content! He is my sweet little man and with his gentle, mild disposition he is so endearing I want to hug & kiss him (and I do) all the time.
He continues to be Willow's constant and ever ready playmate and cuddle buddy, they are inseparable! They still give me laughs and pure pleasure!
I sent their pictures to our local monthly pet newspaper and was so surprised when the editor called me! She absolutely loved their photos, and thought they were so beautiful she wanted to put them on the back cover,So we will see. I am so proud of my babies!!
Again so many thanks to Siri and all the dedicated people at Siamese Rescue for bringing me this precious little guy.Special thanks to my friend and Cosmo's aunt,Ginny Boyle
We"re marking Cosmos's third anniversary and he is excellent and he,Willow & I couldn't be happier! He is so playful, loves his catnip filled squirrel, tossing in the air and catching, also the feather on a string, but his very favorite time continues to be playing with his BFF, Willow, giving them both plenty of excerise!!
Again,at the risk of repeating myself & sounding like a proud mom,I have the most perfect meezers,(Cosmo & Willow agree !!)
I am so very glad to have these two little lovebugs sharing my life & home.So greatful to all at siamese rescue that made this match possible, you are all the best !! God Bless
We"re celebrating Cosmos's 5th anniversary and he is doing wonderful.Went for his yearly wellness
last week and he got a clean bill of health,Yeah !!
Most mornings he likes to sleep in(sometimes Willow too) so I'm forced to wait till my little prince is
ready to rise aand shine before I can make my bed, but thats Ok ,he looks so comfortable and content I dare not disturb him. He also has found his voice and talks to me alot but so sweet using his "indoor voice",he comes when called and follows me around (when he feels like it)
Spring is here and he and Willow will be so happy to sit in the window, get the breeze and watch and listen to the birds again.
So all is good !! Happy Spring and many Thanks to everyone that made this possible for Cosmo,me and Willow.
Today we are marking Cosmo's 6th anniversary and he is doing just great. received a clean bill of health on his wellness visit last week. All the girls in the office just love him, he is the purr-fect little patient. He & Willow are still quite the duo, enjoying one another,,whether its playing or napping ,always together. They make me so happy !! Love these little guys,Thanks again ! P.S. They're both by my side right now and send meow kisses !
Just returned from a visit to the Vet for Cosmo's wellness checkup and on his 7th anniversary here ,he didn't think that was such a good gift, but I'll try to make up for it with extra treats ! Exam went well and he's in good health ,but will need a teeth cleaning so made an appointment for Apr 24th (UGh,makes me nervous but I know it needs to be done)
He's coming to my lap as I write this,he is my little charmer,so so sweet and the love of my life (Willow has to share him with me).So all is well on the homefront and we 're hunkered in

SAMARA
Just arrived, but I sure am glad to be off the streets. I had a home at one time, but somehow lost it. No one seems to know why, but thankfully the Siamese Cat rescue angels found me. It's nice here, but it isn't home. Maybe you could make room in your home for me?
I'm a good girl with my litter box and eat the food meowmy gives me. I'm a big girl, but not fat. I have a bit of a fever mask right now but meowmy said that will go away now that I'm all over my shelter cold. The vet she took me to said I'm a pretty girl. *blush*
I am not comfortable with other cats, so I'd like to be your main squeeze. My litter box, lap sitting and scratching habits are perfect. I love to make biscuits in my Millie bed and sleep with you at night.
How about asking about me so I have a chance for a great new home!
Purrs,
Samara

Sept 2015: Samara is doing great! She has adjusted perfectly in the last 7 months. Still isn't a fan of the dog but she isn't scared of him like she was. She lets him know the boundaries and he respects them. No problems, all checkups have been fine. Her fever mask went away and she now has a beautiful brown face I kiss often! She loves to cuddle and sleeps in the bed with me every night.
Feb 2018: sams is doing so well! Shes such a sweet girl who I have to cuddle everyrime I go into a room where she is :)
March 2019: sam is still doing awesome. Shes such a sweetie.

MICKEY
HELLO!!!!!
Over here....see me now?
Yup I'm not a kitten, yup I'm a bit fuller in the waistline that I should be (we can't all be swimsuit models now can we), yup I need daily eye drops (cheap and no big deal) BUT (that is always a but probably that swimsuit thing) I'm good natured and I'm adorable and I will adore you forever and ever.
I have some silly little things I do...I like to eat my food laying down - with my back leg up in the air, I like to paw at the fridge door when I think you should feed me, and I especially enjoy a cold beverage (water) using my front paw. So yup - I'm a silly girl.
Foster Mary promised me a forever home and she says she always keeps her promises. I don't believe her - can we fix that?

Notes from Home
Mickey was put on a HA (hydrologized protein) diet due to inflammation of her vagina and anus along with excessive shedding. At first it eliminated these issues but then she developed chronic diarrhea. My vet did all kinds of tests but no answers. About the same time she began to urinate outside her litter box so she would not have to step in the diarrhea. My local pet store suggested I change her diet and the diarrhea has stopped! The urinating outside the litter box continues. I have a washing machine tray under the box so I can clean it up easily. I spray it with a disinfectant and clean the litter box at least 3xs per day. Any suggestions?
Mickey continues to do well. The new Refresh eye drops appear to be working. Her eyes are more open and not slits all the time. She loves her dry cat food but continues to be fussy about what flavor canned she eats. She seems to ignor the dogs but will hiss at Minnie through the gate. I am just giving her the time see she needs. I read in her room and often she sleeps in a corner. When she wants pets she does nuzzle up. Her litter box habits are great. The vet wants me to soak her behind as she is not cleaning herself well. Not sure how that will go. I need to get gauze tomorrow. She is a sweet Meezer. I can’t wait for her to have free range of the house.
Mickey slept with me last night! She had to walk past the dogs to get up on my bed. Although she does hiss and growl at the other pets, it is not happening as much. Minnie is being wonderful to her. She is slowly moving closer and closer when they are in the same room or together. She seems to know just what to do. Mickey likes the cat tree and is presently in one of the little enclosures.

Notes from Home
Percy and Cobalt here. We have been in our forever family for one year and ten days now. We are doing really well. We love to spend time on the screened in porch and look at the birds and squirrels. We also had so much fun with this tree our family put into the living room. It had lots of shiny things hanging on it. We have our own cat tree by the large sunroom window and spend lots of time sleeping on it. We love love love to be petted, even on our bellies, and we love to play. Sometimes we race around the house and jump up on all the furniture and chase each other and sometimes we even wrestle. Cobalt with three legs is super agile and can do anything he wants. And Percy is the kind of the house. We both talk a lot and everyone always knows what we want: out the door, inside the door of the porch, more food, drink, play, petting you name it. No one cannot understand us. We think we are the most important members of the family. Everyone is always happy to see us and we greet our family when they come home. We love Winter Break because everyone is home and we have company all day every day. We could not have ended up in a better place. Thank you to Siamese Cat Rescue Center for fostering us, taking care of us and finding the right family for us. (PS: We both got A+ on our annual vet evaluation). with lots of purrs wishing you a Happy new Year. :-)
12/21/17 Four years--it has been four years with our family. And two years with our sister Lilly. Cobalt and I are happy and healthy and we love Lilly. More than anything, we love routine, the same routine every day, please. Except then we also love the occasional excitement, like the interesting Christmas tree they brought into the house, for example. Oh it is so much fun to bat at those ornaments (and we drop only one or two every night while everyone else is sleeping). Cobalt and I have our favorite spots: I sleep on the laundry, or my Dad's computer bag, his karate uniform, or my sratchy circle. I just recently re-discovered his kitty milliebed, We've all had our vet visits and shots and are super healthy, which is great. I'm the most laid back of my siblings. I will roll on my back and stretch out my belly for rubs, and I am not quite as scared as they are of everything (well except the vacuum cleaner-that scares me too). I can always eat, no matter what time of day and no matter what it is. I am quite a voluminous cat, but the vet says my weight is fine. I'm just very large-so much cat to love.
Update on Cobalt, Percy and Lilly: all three are doing wonderfully. They are the light of our lives, they make us laugh, they cuddle and entertain. Nothing is better than life with Cobalt, Percy and Lilly. Cobalt and Percy, the brothers, are now 5 years old. Cobalt is our three legged kitty and our great socializer. He is always the first to greet new people (or animal visitors). He is his Dad's favorite work companion, lying next to him for hours while he is typing away. Cobalt is also the explorer of anything new be it a Christmas tree or a new couch. He loves to sleep in Mom's or Julia's bed every night and he is super vocal. You can never misunderstand Cobalt. He is so great at communicating whatever is on his mind: food, water please, look at that bird or deer out the window, or please open that door and let me out on the porch, and now open the door again and let me into the house, again and again. Percy is our great protector. He makes sure his territory is safe, examining it every day, he is the most laid back kitty in the world, loves his belly scratches, nesting in laundry piles, laundry baskets, suitcases and computer bags. He especially likes to sit in half packed suitcases so that Dad or Mom don't go travel. Percy is huge, so much taller and broader than his brother. He is truly our guard kitty and the protector of them all. Lilly, is three years old now, and she
is our scaredy cat. She is super shy and finds the best hiding places, especially when the vacuum cleaner comes out. All three of them are scared of nothing more than the vacuum cleaner. Lilly is super petite, and we continue to feed her extra portions and treats to get her to maintain a good weight. She is just tiny compared to Percy and even Cobalt. She is the cuddliest of them all and will literally sit smack dab in the middle of Mom and Julia's chest at night when they are going to sleep. Then she purrs and purrs, louder than her big brothers, and the vibrations are the best relaxation for humans you can imagine. She is beautiful and curious, exploring at her own pace when she feels safe. She is our tropical kitty, since she likes heat. She will lie in the sun for hours, in 90 degrees on the catio, when the others are asking to come in. In turn, she doesn't much like the AC in the house, and finds cozy places. Lilly is also our quiet kitty. She never meows or brooks like her brothers do. However, she is perfectly able to communicate. If we are sitting at our desks working, she jumps up, rubs and rubs, and starts purring, and sits on the papers and keyboard, until we give her some more food. We love these kitties to the moon and back and would have ten more if Dad weren't so allergic to kitties. Thank you to Siamese Rescue and all the volunteers for allowing us to adopt these three. They are family and we cannot imagine life without them.

Notes from Home
Lilly has been home for a month now. She has been an absolute delight. The first ten days she was in isolation in the bathroom. However, the bathroom was not boring, since it contained a cat tree in the bathtub, a wonderful pile of clothes to sleep on next to the tree in the bath tub, toys, and food and drink a litter box and a cat jungle. Lilly played and played and sniffed and explored every nook and corner. Whenever we came in, she climbed onto our laps, legs or chest and purred and purred and purred. The big cats, Cobalt and Percy sniffed at the door and after a while the three of them were fed on either side of the door so they could hear the sounds of eating. After ten days, Princess Lilly moved into the guestroom. She loved that there was soooo much space and the cat tree and jungle had moved with her. So much jumping and running and exploring. She was very curious about the big cats. After about a week in the guestroom, we let the big cats and Lilly see each other from across a room. Cobalt had already decided he would love to play with Lilly. She didn't agree that seeing each other across the room was an option, and tackled Cobalt to invite him to play. Soon they were wrestling and chasing each other and playing with the same toys (while Percy was upstairs sleeping). Percy still hissed at this point every time he saw Lilly or she got near him. So the guestroom remained Lilly's kingdom and she only came out under supervision to play with Cobalt and to let Percy see her form a distance. After about three weeks I began feeding all three of them their dinner in the same place in the kitchen. After hissing one or two more nights, Percy decided that it was cool to have a little sister whose dinner he could taste too. So they play musical chairs at dinner. Lilly was very impressed with Percy and treated him with great respect, not like Cobalt with whom she continued to play. She only tried to smell Percy. Eventually, Percy began smelling her too. And then just before Christmas he actually played with her. Which means the integration was complete. By Christmas, Lilly has the run of the house with the boys, she loves all the same hangouts and plays with the same toys, loved the excitement of a tree in the living room and crinkly wrapping paper. Christmas breakfast, a special treat of wet food in front of the Christmas tree, was wonderful for everyone. Lilly sleeps with Mom at night, while Cobalt sleeps with Julia and Percy sleeps in a basked of clothes next to Juergen's side of the bed. Sometimes Lilly and Cobalt mix it up a little and switch. We love these kitties so much. They are the best thing that ever happened to us. Thank you to Siamese Rescue for the amazing work you do.
May 29, 2016 6 MONTH update
Lilly has her six month anniversary at our house today and we are reminded that only six months ago we didn't have this bundle of energy and sunshine in our house. Lilly has been the best addition to our family anyone could have ever imagine. She is incredibly playful and full of energy for a couple of hours in the mornings and then in the early evening. She runs around and climbs on everything, explores every nook and cranny, chases bugs and mostly Cobalt, and smells everything. When she needs to rest she has her favorite places: a pair of her Dad's pants on a chair by the window (which he won't move to please Lilly), the highest spot in the cat trees, the screened in porch, or anywhere next to Cobalt: that could be in a laundry basket, a suitcase or just the plain old floor. Lilly is super healthy, eats well, has perfect litter box habits, never ever complains, purrs up a storm when she is lovey. She doesn't like to be picked up and she only likes to be petted on her terms. When she comes to you and sits on you then it's time to pet her. But usually she is way too busy running around playing and exploring to have time for cuddling. She gets along great with the boys. Percy is still the king of the house, regal and not one for playing. She knows that, rubs on him, smells him and he generously lets her. Cobalt is her brother. She will play and chase and cuddle with him. The playing looks more like fighting as Cobalt will actually hiss and growl while Lilly makes no noise at all. However, they both run around and chase each other with abandon, usually until Cobalt gets tired and has had enough. Then it's time for morning naps. Lilly is the sunshine of this house. She and the boys are the best things that ever happened to our family. Thank you to everyone who works with Siamese Rescue. You make so many people and kitties happy.

Look into my deep Cobalt eyes...are you smittened yet? It does not take me long to get everyone wrapped around my paws. I have a little growing to do, but I'm soon going to be checking my inbox to see if anyone has asked about me.
Are you looking for a baby like me? I'm not too demanding :) However, I do demand that my brother Bondi come home with me cause I just love him to pieces!

Sleeping on clothes is the best anyway. We've all had our vet visits and shots and are super healthy, which is great. My weak spot is still my digestion and so I have to eat boring food, which means the same healthy diet every day. But it's ok. If I steal some of Lilly's treats for example, I get bloody stools and that's not good. So I stick with my healthy diet. My other favorite place in the entire world is the screened in porch or catio. Believe it or not there are three cat trees on that catio (and a table and chairs for the humans). I just have to look at my humans and they know I want to go outside and then they will let me in again, and out again, and in again...and on and on. Outside on the top of the highest cat tree I can watch the squirrels and birds and the deer in the back yard. It's so fun and exciting. I can spend so much time out here. Lilly too. She and I are mostly together. But yesterday, she felt super cuddly and she just climbed on top of me as I was sleeping on my brown chair. She napped on top of me. Can you believe that. (I'll admit she felt kind of cuddly and warm and wonderful).

ROMEO
Single Siamese Kitty Seeks Soulmate!
Hello! Let me introduce myself. My name is Friday and I am a 2 year old seal point male. I am seeking a LTR with a person or persons to love me and in return, I promise daily headbutts, kisses and never going outside the box. I prefer not to have to share you with another kitty, so I am seeking a furrever relationship in a cat free home.
After I move in, (my toys are packed) you can stop looking for your kitty mate anyway. I will be happy to assist in light housekeeping and computer work, but prefer you do all the work in the kitchen.
I think you should ask my Foster Mom about me, so we can begin our forever story.
Purrs,
Friday

Notes from Home
Romeo has brought so much happiness into our home. He has really imprinted himself on us and we have on him. Romeo is definitely a welcome addition to our family. We chose the perfect kitty!!!! He's such a lover!
Romeo is still very happy in his new surroundings. We almost cannot remember what our life was before he came into it.
Romeo is still a welcome blessing in our lives. He's integrated well in our new home. Since adopting Romeo...we moved to another state. He loves laying in front of our sliding glass door to sun himself. Romeo amazingly gets along with our other furbaby, Dixie. She's a chocolate lab...and they chill together in our bedroom. He still very much the lover he always was....Romeo remains very happy & healthy!
It's so hard to believe that Romeo has been a part of our family for 3 years now! We still love him, of course! He now has a furbaby friend to play with for about a year now! His name is Jasper! They are buddies...they get along really well! He too was a rescue in need of a new home! Our family is complete!
Wow!!!! Has it been 5 years already! We moved almost a year ago to our present house. Romeo is still enjoying his life with us...and vice versa. Romeo is a loner and prefers to be an only cat...esp against male cats. We unfortunately found out the hard way. So we moved Jasper to another home of a friend of mine. Who spoils him rotten....so both furbabies are extremely happy with life as it's!
It's with a heavy heart that we report that Romeo crossed the Rainbow Bridge today. He was with us for nearly 10 years and he was family. He's no longer suffering. ;(

BORIS
I'm Mack of the Zack/Mack pair. Initially everyone thought we were inseparable - bonded brothers! Turns out that we are indeed brothers, and friends, but we do live independantly of each other. So foster mom decided that we do not need to go together -but surely could. Our ages are pretty well known - we were gotten as kittens many years ago. So we are seniors - but young ones. We have had full senior bloodwork done, and we are in great shape for our ages. Even our teeth are in good shape. I'm a bit on the pudgy side but not fat.
I'm a bit more reserved. I also love attention and pets, but I want foster mom to coax me over to her. I think that since my brothers a bit - well pushy - when it comes to attention, I'd do best with cats that are more mild mannered. Assertive cats scare me (I do not like the cat she calles Moe, he likes to scare me). If you have a quieter home with no other kitties, or only nice ones, I would be very happy there. I am very sweet once I get a chance at attention but my darn brother gets there first and pushes me out of the way. I'd love to sit on your lap and just soak up the attention. If you want a very lovely senior boy, who's not overly vocal nor assertive, then perhaps you would be so kind as to ask about me?

Notes from Home
I've had Mack for a month now and he is doing great! His introduction to Frida was uneventful, and I'm still figuring out what his favorite toys are (favs so far are wand toys and the catnip banana). He loves to snuggle with me - often by plopping down on his side and wrapping his paw around my arm, which can make it hard to type, lol. I've nicknamed him 'Mr. Happy Feet' because of how much he kneads his paws when he's purring. I'm still debating whether to rename him - stay tuned! Thanks to everyone who helped bring me together with this handsome snuggle bug :) I'll try to upload more pics later.
8/9/18: I have officially renamed him Boris (nickname: Fancy Bear!) He's doing great, although his vet recommended some dental work today because his mouth seems to be bothering him. Still a total sweetheart :)
2/27/19: Boris is still doing well, although in January he had an infected anal sac that took us to the animal hospital and required him to wear the "cone of shame" for two weeks, poor little guy. My other rescued kitty died earlier this month, so for now he is an only cat and he seems to enjoy the extra attention. He's quite the attention seeker, actually - he gets irritated when I have the audacity to not pay attention to him, like when I am cooking dinner and he sits on the dining table and loudly complains until he finally gives up and watches me instead.
