INDIANA JONES - INDY OR INDY B
OK - here I am in my glory. I know you want to know about my name right off. Well, I have a short tail - probably an amputation at tome point in my life - and I'm sure someone looked at my tail and said that I had a "Boo Boo". SO, that's my name. I am however, so much more than my name and short tail. I am a really stunning blue point (with faint lynx stripes on my points) and a HUGE personality. I am easy going, laid back, a talker with a big vocabulary, a lover of people, cats, food, new places and LIFE. Nothing seems to phase me. I will do well in almost any home. I was removed from my original home by the Board of Health and they said that I couldn't go back, so I'm now patiently waiting for my next home. Mama Katie says that no matter what the reason I was taken away from my family, they had taken pretty good care of me and helped me to be a very happy and healthy cat. If you'd like to have a fantastic boy in your home, you'd better ask about me. Oh, yes, I am also front declawed so I won't scratch your furniture. Purrs and headbutts, Boo Boo

Indy continues to be a joy ! He's the most loving, kitty ever ! He let's all the grandchildren carry him around like a baby. Never a bad mood or bad behavior. We consider ourselves so lucky to have him. Thank you!

3 years later and Indy is the kitty every visitor wants to take home. He is the most loving wonderful boy and we love him so much!

3/2019 Indy has been I’m partner in Hospice Service for over a year. He was the most amazing exceptional boy. He was incredible at his job of loving on dying people. After surviving a rare Ohio Valky Faunus that invaded his liver, we are heartbroken to report that are beloved precious Indy was diagnosed with a very aggressive breast cancer. He left us and we are beyond grief stricken.

CLOUD
I'm back in rescue - the female cat who lived in my new family's home hated me - and all because I wanted to play with her. I'm a sweet and loving flame boy - not a lap cat - but that's OK. I have a past history of abuse, but that hasn't make me untrusting of people. I'm a handsome flame boy with that wonderful flame personality (and love of food). I need a home where I can be your one-and-only, or a home where there are other young cats who will play a rousing game of chase with me. Old kitties or timid kitties are not for me. So if you're looking for a handsome, active, and sweet flame boy to grace your home for whatever holiday you celebrate, then ask about me - and we can celebrate the holidays and New Year together.

New pictures of me and a movie will be coming soon.

Cloud has settled in very quickly and made a best friend in his kitty brother, Shadow. They love to play together and watch for birds at the window. He uses the kitty box all the time, which he shares with his brother. He is happy to eat his Wellness food, both wet and dry. He sleeps and snuggles in the bed that was sent with him from his foster mom, Jackie. He is very relaxed and LOVES to be brushed. He tries to play with his Siamese sister, Mocha...who we also adopted from the rescue, but she is quick to remind him that she is the Queen Bee around here. But, Cloud is so easy-going that he is never bothered by his sassy Siamese sister. When I arrive home from work, I have three happy kitties greeting me for "treat time!" We are so happy to have Cloud in our family and think he really loves his forever home!

I just went with Mom and Dad for my yearly exam with Dr. John. I was really good boy when I got my upper respiratory booster, my distemper shot, my check-up and my temperature taken. Dr. John said I was 10.8 pounds and in good health! I love my Wellness wet and dry food, and have become a very talkative little guy.

When I first arrived at my new home, I would always lay on the bed that foster mom Jackie sent with me. But, at night, Dad would pick me up and carry me to bed with him, Mom, and my kitty siblings Shadow and Mocha, for about 5 months. And, Mom would pick me up during the day and put me up onto the couch with Shadow and Mocha. So, now I get it! I am allowed to lay on the furniture!

Dad has lots of funny names for me. He calls me Hamster, Bed Buddy, and Hot Rod...isn't that silly?

My brother Shadow and I play a lot of tag every day, and also during the night. Mocha finally realizes I'm here to stay, so she doesn't hiss at me anymore and she lets me take afternoon naps on the bed with her.

My first Christmas with my forever family was great! My four Yorkie cousins and Boxer/Lab cousin came to our house. Everyone got along, and me and my youngest Yorkie cousin are now best friends. We all exchanged presents, and I got a nice blanket, toys and treats!

Life wasn't so good to me in the past, but now I couldn't ask for a more loving home! But, there is just one thing Shadow, Mocha, and I don't understand. Mom, Dad, and human brother Joe keep saying they are the lucky ones!

Thank you so much, Siri, David, and Jackie! Mom and Dad say we are their babies and we give them so much love and entertainment!

March 26th, 2017
I went to get my yearly check-up to Dr. John with mom, dad, my brother shadow and my sister Mocha. My check-up went fine. Dr. John also takes me first.

I got a new sister, a four year old retired Bengal. Mom and dad kept us all separated for about a week then I was the first to be with her. We bonded right away. We play, eat and sleep together.

She wants to be with me all the time. Mom said that is because I am a very loving cat. Mom and dad tell me I am very special every day. I get along very well with Shadow, Mocha and Coconut and the four Yorkshire Terriers, and the boxer, lab mix when they come on vacation.

Thank you Siri, Jackie & David. We love cloud so much. He loves laying in the sun and sleeps with us every night.
We are so lucky for our rescues.

March 1st, 2018
Mom, Dad, Mocha and I went to Dr. John for my yearly physical, nail clip and rabies vaccine. I weigh 10 pounds and am doing great. I take a nap with dad every afternoon and sleep by his side at night. For Christmas we exchange presents with my cousin the Yorkies and my other cousin Lab/Boxer Mix. I got a new bed that crinkles when I step on it and lots of toys and treats. Life gets better and better everyday. I get picked up and hugged and told what a handsome boy I am everyday. Dad has an old fishing pole and he hooks a toy on it and throws the line and all four of us run to get the toy. After that, Coconut, the new retired Bengal and I take a nap together. My family still says they are the lucky ones to have me a part of the family. Thank you so much Siri, David and Jackie.

March 23rd, 2019
Hi! Just checking in with my friends at Siamese Rescue and want to let you know I did fine with my yearly checkup. The highlight of my day is when the sun shines on the bed or couch and I can curl up on a blanket and take a long kitty nap. I love to be brushed and spend the afternoon in Joes room while he works on the computer. Life is good and very relaxing, the way I like it. See some of my new pictures!
Thank you to everyone at Siamese Rescue for our loving, sweet and adorable Cloud. He has made our life complete.

Here is a quick update on Miss Mocha. She is happy, healthy and has settled in within the first 2 weeks. She has become best friends with her kitty brother Shadow, and they can be found playing and cuddling together every day. They like to get into lots of fun mischief together and play in their kitty condo. Their favorite game is "tag", which they seem to love to play throughout the night. From the first night she arrived, she became my instant sleeping buddy and computer companion. She is an amazing girl and we are all so happy that she has joined our family!

New Update (11/26/15): My 1-Year Anniversary

“I went with Mom for my yearly exam with Dr. John. He let Mom hold me for my distemper shot, my upper respiratory booster, nail clipping, temperature and checkup.” I was so scared, and I couldn’t get any closer to Mom! I weigh 10 pounds, and Dr. John put me on amoxicillin and an oral rinse for my gingivitis. I don’t like my medication, but a week after I started it my gums are already looking much better!”

“Mom says I am a very amazing, animated and unique girl. When she is at the computer desk, I jump up and rub myself against the screen to help her. I also love my ‘this real life like mouse toy’ so much! I like to carry it around in my mouth all through the house. At night I cry to let Mom and Dad know I caught it, and once I had to put it in their bed so when Mom woke up she found it in bed with her! She tells me what a good mouser I am! I like to sit in the tub and play a game where I bat at the shower curtain and be a funny girl. “ And, even though I am picky with who I like, I will roll around on the floor and put on a show for my favorite people, Mom and human brother Joe.” I have two kitty brothers who are a little too playful at times for my taste, but I still love them. But, there is no question about it, I am the ‘House Diva.’ I really like my Wellness dry kitty food. At night when we get our wet food I help by cleaning up all three little kitty bowls.”

“Thank you David, Siri, and Meezer Express for helping my find my fur-ever family! My family loves me and they know they are so lucky to have me in their family!”

March 26th, 2017

I went in for my yearly check-up to see Dr. John with mom and dad and my two brothers, Shadow and Cloud. All went well until he looked in my mouth and said my teeth should be cleaned, so mom made an appointment with Dr. Mullen to have my teeth cleaned in two weeks.

Mom got a call from Dr. Mullen after the cleaning and Dr. Mullen said she had to pull seven teeth because I had lesions. Mom was so upset, she couldn't wait to pick me up.

When I got home, I was just fine. I ate my wet wellness for two weeks and took my medications.
I'm doing great. I still like to help mom on the computer and play with my pretend real life mouse and play between the shower curtains. I am still the diva in the house.

Thanks David, Siri & Meezer Express for my precious Mocha. We are so lucky to have her, she is such an amusing sweetheart.

March 1st, 2018

Mom, Dad, Cloud and I went to Dr. John for my yearly physical, nail clip and rabies vaccination. I weigh 9 pounds and am doing great. Dr. John always tells me how beautiful I am and he loves my blue eyes. We were so glad that I didn't need any teeth pulled at this time. Mom and my human brother Joe clean my teeth twice a week with Clenz-a-dent. For Christmas we got a kitty condo which I love to go to the very top. I love to look out the window for hours. Dad put up a bird feeder for me to watch the birds and Dad calls me little honey all the time (I think my name is still Mocha). I still carry my real life mouse around and make loud crying noises until I get picked up, hugged and kissed and I hide between the shower curtains to play. Mom says I am such a Diva, very playful and talkative. My sister Coconut taught me how to drink from the bathroom faucet.

Mocha is very special and we are so lucky to have her a part of our family. As I am typing this, Mocha is helping me at the computer. Thank you so much David, Siri and Meezer Express.

Just checking in with my friends at Siamese Rescue to let you know I am doing fine and still up to all of my silly tricks. I am still the sweet, lovable, funny, adorable Mocha. I went to the vet last month and did fine with my physical. I am going to upload a couple pictures, I hope you enjoy them. Thank you to everyone at Siamese Rescue for making Mocha a part of our life and bringing lots of joy to us.

Instead of dashing into the middle of everything like Jacobi, I prefer to sit on the top of the cat tree and watch everything that is going on. I like to keep a close eye on him. we play together, eat together and curl up together. he is my bff.

Although I am a bit more reserved, I am still friendly and outgoing.

Spectacular adjustment for both! They were eating, litter-using, running and playing by the first day. The female was a little shy, but by day 6 was the first to find me and demand a quick rub. Both are social with guests. We're working on names.

Transport was amazing, thanks to all! They have favorite toys from the goodie bag, and found the crocheted blankets right away on a cat tree.

Six Months: Doing great! Zeus grew quite a bit, so we believe he was younger than original estimate

Notes from Home
WThis Sunday will be Cosmos 3 week anniversary with us,and he is doing great. He is totally and happily adjusted, and I am so pleased at how quickly he seemed to feel right at home and comfortable.I am equally happy at how Cosmo and Willow took to each other, they have become fast friends. It gives me such pleasure and joy to watch them play together, sleep together and wash one anothers face.A perfect match! He really is a sweetie and we love him.I really aprreciate and thank Siamese Rescue and all the dedicated volunteers who brought Cosmo to us.Siamese Rescue does a wonderful job and is a real blessing and god send to all the beautiful kitties who find their way to you.Cosmo and Willow sWWend their best meows and purrs to all,and again many thanks from me.Sincerely,Diana. Here it is August 13th and five months since Cosmo's been here, and he is doing terrific. He is the sweetest most lovable little guy, well behaved and the perfect gentlemen! "Willow' is so happy to have a brother to play with (as I am),they are such wonderful company for one another. They make me laugh with their antics and I can't help but smile just to see them. They are my two treasures and I love them..Thank you again Siamese Rescue and all the kind Fosters and a special thanks to Ginny Boyle, who is always ready to lend me her ear.Bless you All,Diana

Here we are celebrating Cosmo's 6th month anniversary and he (and Willow & I) are doing just wonderful. He is an absolute angel, the most easy going, laid back, sweet gentle little soul,a perfect kittie, who is no trouble, quite the opposite,a real joy! One would think he and "Willow" have been together since birth, they are quite the twosome. They play, chase, jump, hop in the air, wrestle and tackle, very entertaining,I love watching them!Too cute. But when Willow's had enough and wants to stop, she lets him know, and being the gentlemen he is quietly steps aside, then as both are conked out will snuggle and take their catnaps. He really has made our little family complete.
He is still a little leary when visitors come and will keep his distance, but is slowly coming around. But the biggest breakthrough for me is how well he is with "Jake",my nieces Shih Tzu,when he comes for sleepovers. When its time for lights out, they know, and we all get in the bed together, and I can't ask for more than that!
Many thanks again to everyone at Siamese Rescue and special thanks to Ginny Boyle,my interviewer and new friend! Bless you all for the wonderful work you do .

Here it is Cosmo's 1 year anniversary and I am delighted to report he is doing wonderful, healthy, happy and enjoying life..He is without a doubt the most gentle and sweetest soul, with an easy going, laid back disposition. But he still loves to play and wrestle with his best buddy "Willow",they're like two peas in a pod,a perfect match.

Cosmo celebrated his first Christmas with us and he was very curious when all the decorations came out and the tree trimming began,he had to investigate and check everything, than sat very interested ,watching all the goings on,but soon grew bored and left for his catnap!(which he is a pro at)

Cosmo,Willow and I have settled into a comfortable routine, and looking forward to the lazy days of summer and some serious birdwatching!

They really are my little angels, who constantly bring me joy, laughter and entertainment!! It"s all great!!!

Here it is Cosmo's 2nd anniversary and he is doing great! Healthy, thriving and content! He is my sweet little man and with his gentle, mild disposition he is so endearing I want to hug & kiss him (and I do) all the time.

He continues to be Willow's constant and ever ready playmate and cuddle buddy, they are inseparable! They still give me laughs and pure pleasure!

I sent their pictures to our local monthly pet newspaper and was so surprised when the editor called me! She absolutely loved their photos, and thought they were so beautiful she wanted to put them on the back cover,So we will see. I am so proud of my babies!!

Again so many thanks to Siri and all the dedicated people at Siamese Rescue for bringing me this precious little guy.Special thanks to my friend and Cosmo's aunt,Ginny Boyle

We"re marking Cosmos's third anniversary and he is excellent and he,Willow & I couldn't be happier! He is so playful, loves his catnip filled squirrel, tossing in the air and catching, also the feather on a string, but his very favorite time continues to be playing with his BFF, Willow, giving them both plenty of excerise!!

Again,at the risk of repeating myself & sounding like a proud mom,I have the most perfect meezers,(Cosmo & Willow agree !!)

I am so very glad to have these two little lovebugs sharing my life & home.So greatful to all at siamese rescue that made this match possible, you are all the best !! God Bless

We"re celebrating Cosmos's 5th anniversary and he is doing wonderful.Went for his yearly wellness
last week and he got a clean bill of health,Yeah !!
Most mornings he likes to sleep in(sometimes Willow too) so I'm forced to wait till my little prince is
ready to rise aand shine before I can make my bed, but thats Ok ,he looks so comfortable and content I dare not disturb him. He also has found his voice and talks to me alot but so sweet using his "indoor voice",he comes when called and follows me around (when he feels like it)
Spring is here and he and Willow will be so happy to sit in the window, get the breeze and watch and listen to the birds again.
So all is good !! Happy Spring and many Thanks to everyone that made this possible for Cosmo,me and Willow.

Today we are marking Cosmo's 6th anniversary and he is doing just great. received a clean bill of health on his wellness visit last week. All the girls in the office just love him, he is the purr-fect little patient. He & Willow are still quite the duo, enjoying one another,,whether its playing or napping ,always together. They make me so happy !! Love these little guys,Thanks again ! P.S. They're both by my side right now and send meow kisses !

Just returned from a visit to the Vet for Cosmo's wellness checkup and on his 7th anniversary here ,he didn't think that was such a good gift, but I'll try to make up for it with extra treats ! Exam went well and he's in good health ,but will need a teeth cleaning so made an appointment for Apr 24th (UGh,makes me nervous but I know it needs to be done)

He's coming to my lap as I write this,he is my little charmer,so so sweet and the love of my life (Willow has to share him with me).So all is well on the homefront and we 're hunkered in

SAMARA
Just arrived, but I sure am glad to be off the streets. I had a home at one time, but somehow lost it. No one seems to know why, but thankfully the Siamese Cat rescue angels found me. It's nice here, but it isn't home. Maybe you could make room in your home for me?

I'm a good girl with my litter box and eat the food meowmy gives me. I'm a big girl, but not fat. I have a bit of a fever mask right now but meowmy said that will go away now that I'm all over my shelter cold. The vet she took me to said I'm a pretty girl. *blush*

I am not comfortable with other cats, so I'd like to be your main squeeze. My litter box, lap sitting and scratching habits are perfect. I love to make biscuits in my Millie bed and sleep with you at night.

How about asking about me so I have a chance for a great new home!

Purrs,
Samara

Sept 2015: Samara is doing great! She has adjusted perfectly in the last 7 months. Still isn't a fan of the dog but she isn't scared of him like she was. She lets him know the boundaries and he respects them. No problems, all checkups have been fine. Her fever mask went away and she now has a beautiful brown face I kiss often! She loves to cuddle and sleeps in the bed with me every night.

Feb 2018: sams is doing so well! Shes such a sweet girl who I have to cuddle everyrime I go into a room where she is :)

March 2019: sam is still doing awesome. Shes such a sweetie.

MICKEY
HELLO!!!!!
Over here....see me now?
Yup I'm not a kitten, yup I'm a bit fuller in the waistline that I should be (we can't all be swimsuit models now can we), yup I need daily eye drops (cheap and no big deal) BUT (that is always a but probably that swimsuit thing) I'm good natured and I'm adorable and I will adore you forever and ever.
I have some silly little things I do...I like to eat my food laying down - with my back leg up in the air, I like to paw at the fridge door when I think you should feed me, and I especially enjoy a cold beverage (water) using my front paw. So yup - I'm a silly girl.
Foster Mary promised me a forever home and she says she always keeps her promises. I don't believe her - can we fix that?

Notes from Home
Mickey was put on a HA (hydrologized protein) diet due to inflammation of her vagina and anus along with excessive shedding. At first it eliminated these issues but then she developed chronic diarrhea. My vet did all kinds of tests but no answers. About the same time she began to urinate outside her litter box so she would not have to step in the diarrhea. My local pet store suggested I change her diet and the diarrhea has stopped! The urinating outside the litter box continues. I have a washing machine tray under the box so I can clean it up easily. I spray it with a disinfectant and clean the litter box at least 3xs per day. Any suggestions?

Mickey continues to do well. The new Refresh eye drops appear to be working. Her eyes are more open and not slits all the time. She loves her dry cat food but continues to be fussy about what flavor canned she eats. She seems to ignor the dogs but will hiss at Minnie through the gate. I am just giving her the time see she needs. I read in her room and often she sleeps in a corner. When she wants pets she does nuzzle up. Her litter box habits are great. The vet wants me to soak her behind as she is not cleaning herself well. Not sure how that will go. I need to get gauze tomorrow. She is a sweet Meezer. I can’t wait for her to have free range of the house.

Mickey slept with me last night! She had to walk past the dogs to get up on my bed. Although she does hiss and growl at the other pets, it is not happening as much. Minnie is being wonderful to her. She is slowly moving closer and closer when they are in the same room or together. She seems to know just what to do. Mickey likes the cat tree and is presently in one of the little enclosures.

I am standing on my tippy toes so I will look like a big boy! I'm all of a little over a pound, so it will be a little while before I'm ready to come home. In the meantime, I'm being taken good care of & I'm deciding on which foods my foster mom needs to serve around here.

Are you looking for a sweet good looking boy like me along with my brother that has the Cobalt eyes? If so, click on that button & ask about us~~~~

Notes from Home
Percy and Cobalt here. We have been in our forever family for one year and ten days now. We are doing really well. We love to spend time on the screened in porch and look at the birds and squirrels. We also had so much fun with this tree our family put into the living room. It had lots of shiny things hanging on it. We have our own cat tree by the large sunroom window and spend lots of time sleeping on it. We love love love to be petted, even on our bellies, and we love to play. Sometimes we race around the house and jump up on all the furniture and chase each other and sometimes we even wrestle. Cobalt with three legs is super agile and can do anything he wants. And Percy is the kind of the house. We both talk a lot and everyone always knows what we want: out the door, inside the door of the porch, more food, drink, play, petting you name it. No one cannot understand us. We think we are the most important members of the family. Everyone is always happy to see us and we greet our family when they come home. We love Winter Break because everyone is home and we have company all day every day. We could not have ended up in a better place. Thank you to Siamese Cat Rescue Center for fostering us, taking care of us and finding the right family for us. (PS: We both got A+ on our annual vet evaluation). with lots of purrs wishing you a Happy new Year. :-)

12/21/17 Four years--it has been four years with our family. And two years with our sister Lilly. Cobalt and I are happy and healthy and we love Lilly. More than anything, we love routine, the same routine every day, please. Except then we also love the occasional excitement, like the interesting Christmas tree they brought into the house, for example. Oh it is so much fun to bat at those ornaments (and we drop only one or two every night while everyone else is sleeping). Cobalt and I have our favorite spots: I sleep on the laundry, or my Dad's computer bag, his karate uniform, or my sratchy circle. I just recently re-discovered his kitty milliebed, We've all had our vet visits and shots and are super healthy, which is great. I'm the most laid back of my siblings. I will roll on my back and stretch out my belly for rubs, and I am not quite as scared as they are of everything (well except the vacuum cleaner-that scares me too). I can always eat, no matter what time of day and no matter what it is. I am quite a voluminous cat, but the vet says my weight is fine. I'm just very large-so much cat to love.

Update on Cobalt, Percy and Lilly: all three are doing wonderfully. They are the light of our lives, they make us laugh, they cuddle and entertain. Nothing is better than life with Cobalt, Percy and Lilly. Cobalt and Percy, the brothers, are now 5 years old. Cobalt is our three legged kitty and our great socializer. He is always the first to greet new people (or animal visitors). He is his Dad's favorite work companion, lying next to him for hours while he is typing away. Cobalt is also the explorer of anything new be it a Christmas tree or a new couch. He loves to sleep in Mom's or Julia's bed every night and he is super vocal. You can never misunderstand Cobalt. He is so great at communicating whatever is on his mind: food, water please, look at that bird or deer out the window, or please open that door and let me out on the porch, and now open the door again and let me into the house, again and again. Percy is our great protector. He makes sure his territory is safe, examining it every day, he is the most laid back kitty in the world, loves his belly scratches, nesting in laundry piles, laundry baskets, suitcases and computer bags. He especially likes to sit in half packed suitcases so that Dad or Mom don't go travel. Percy is huge, so much taller and broader than his brother. He is truly our guard kitty and the protector of them all. Lilly, is three years old now, and she
is our scaredy cat. She is super shy and finds the best hiding places, especially when the vacuum cleaner comes out. All three of them are scared of nothing more than the vacuum cleaner. Lilly is super petite, and we continue to feed her extra portions and treats to get her to maintain a good weight. She is just tiny compared to Percy and even Cobalt. She is the cuddliest of them all and will literally sit smack dab in the middle of Mom and Julia's chest at night when they are going to sleep. Then she purrs and purrs, louder than her big brothers, and the vibrations are the best relaxation for humans you can imagine. She is beautiful and curious, exploring at her own pace when she feels safe. She is our tropical kitty, since she likes heat. She will lie in the sun for hours, in 90 degrees on the catio, when the others are asking to come in. In turn, she doesn't much like the AC in the house, and finds cozy places. Lilly is also our quiet kitty. She never meows or brooks like her brothers do. However, she is perfectly able to communicate. If we are sitting at our desks working, she jumps up, rubs and rubs, and starts purring, and sits on the papers and keyboard, until we give her some more food. We love these kitties to the moon and back and would have ten more if Dad weren't so allergic to kitties. Thank you to Siamese Rescue and all the volunteers for allowing us to adopt these three. They are family and we cannot imagine life without them.
