Hi Everyone!

Cersei is doing great! She is eating and growing like a weed. She is really excited to play with her brother Oella. They have gotten to know each other under the door and should be aloud to play in a few days. I tried to upload a picture but it isn't letting me for whatever reason. I will work on it! I will send you guys another update soon!

BELLA
Hi, I'm Star.

I'm here at Meowmy's with my sister and two brothers. We came all the way from Maryland where
we were confiscated from a horrid hoarder situation. We spent weeks in the shelter with our mom growing big enough to come into rescue. We did get a shelter cold, but we're on the mend. We're tiny little babies so it will probably be mid to the end of November before we can go to our furrever homes.

10/05/15

Yah! We made it into the foster room and we are having a blast with more room to play. Our ringworm cultures were negative, we are over our shelter colds, we are eating like little piggies and growing big and strong. Meowmy says we are all little purr buckets and love to be cuddled.
She's going to start looking for the perfect home for each of us. It will still be a while before we are big enough to have our vetting done and make the journey to our new families.

Notes from Home
Star is doing well. We love her! Beau is anxious to get her, but we know he is very aggressive and wants to kiss her and then bite her. She's a trooper and is adapting well to her new family! She's a bundle of purr!

Bella is doing well...she still sneezes a bit, but she is a purrfect little kitten. She does think she's bigger than she is and goes on the attack on Beau and he is a big boy for 8 months old. I think he doesn't realize how big he is. Pictures will follow, however, I got a new phone and haven't been able to transfer the pics to my new phone as yet. Bella is just the sweetest little girl, until she decides it's time to "rumble" with Beau. We just love our little fur baby!

Unfortunately, our Bella developed FIP (which I understand her brothers were a victim of when they were 3 months old). Our hearts are broken. As four adults stood in the vets office crying our little girl was put out of her pain and misery on June 20th. We are so sad, but feel our little Beau is missing her tremendously. Therefore, we are now looking to adopt another baby girls. We are so heartbroken over this little lady. <3

Our little Bella is as beautiful as ever. She is such a little lady! She loves to be brushed. She's had a few visits to the vet as she continues to sneeze and still gets her runny nose. She gets a shot so no bacteria forms and we as her parents worry about her not getting out of this stage of sneezing and runny nose. It is worse in certain climates, if it rains, it seems to get worse...sunny days seem to be much better for and me too! I think we are both allergic to the rain. In any event, we are taking the best care possible for this little girl. She has stolen our hearts! She is definitely our little furbaby!

Notes from Home
Kaiser is doing great. He visited the local vet last week. All is fine. He put up a fight getting into the carrier. He likes to play a lot. Especially the wand that has the bird feathers at the end of the string. He jumps high to catch the bird. He also likes to try to catch the red spot produced by a laser beam.

Dec. 22, 2015
Kaiser is doing fine. He loves to play with his toys. He also likes to box, by swatting my hand with his paws. He sleeps on our bed. He also has a keen sense of time. I usually return home from work between 5:30 and 6:00 and he is waiting for me at the front door. Then he follows me upstairs. He wants to be around people. Generally, he sits on the sofa watching t.v. with Sally and me. We are very happy with him.

June 27, 2016
Kaiser had his annual exam two weeks ago and got a clean bill of health. We were on vacation for a few weeks in May and my daughter became his foster mother during our absence. Kaiser was very happy when we returned home. Kaiser is a jumper. He likes to play with the fake bird on the end of the string when it is swung over his head. He may jump 3-4 feet into the air to attack the bird, contorting his body as he tracks the bird.

NIKKO
I have a Big personality, a big Meezer voice, and a big heart. So what's the big deal? I may not be a big cat, but if you take me home, I'll give you lots of love, a snuggly companion, and someone who will chat with you any time you want. Ask about me, and Foster Mom will tell you all about me.

Notes from Home
I am happy to report that Nikko is having a fine adjustment to his new home. He clung to us 24/7 when we first got home. We introduced him to our cats one at a time. They eyeballed each other and did some hissing. He's not pals with them yet, but he's very interested in seeing what they are doing. They are more rambunctious than him, but he love to watch them play with "da bird".He even went into one of their cat beds for a snooze.

The dogs will take longer. He hides when he sees them, but come out quickly. I think he doesn't like it when they bark. He sleeps with us at night, but yesterday he asked to be let out in the middle of the night. He would rather be with the other cats. He only uses his big meezer voice to ask to be let into the bedroom, to be let out of the bedroom or to demand food

He is eating like a champ, both wet and dry food. He polish off what the other cats left behind. His litter box habits are flawless, and he keep himself fastidiously clean. His favorite spot is in a cubbyhole high up on the cat tree where he can watch all the action. He is a beautiful, sensitive creature and I feel lucky to have him.

6 month anniversary for Nikko! How the time fly. He is the perfect addition to our little family. He bonded to the older Siamese brothers I adopted years ago. They hang out together, snuggle together, and he got them to play more. I call them the Three Musketeers.

He has a weird little habit of peeing upside his litter box. We were wondering why there was pee outside the box. He hit the corner and the pee leak out through the gap between the lid and the box. We had to buy a high sided, seamless box to get the bathroom smelling good again.

I think he finally filled out. He is not so voraciously eating everyone else's food. He accepts the dogs, but prefer the cats, and humans of course. Independent but loving, a cat with a mind of his own. He is why we love Siamese.

Mr. Mao is doing great! He and Khaleesi are great companions. He is quite the purrer. He likes to snuggle and has discovered he likes to climb onto our shoulders. He is curious about everything.
1/26/16. Mr. Mao is such an awesome little guy. He is growing great and loves to play. He loves to snuggle so much. If he isn't with Khaleesi he is with one of us. Such a blessing
6/26/2016. I can't believe it has been 6 months. Mr. Mao has quite there personality. He is so funny, you can usually hear him coming because he walks like he is a big a tiger. He likes to lay at the top of the stairs when the kids are upstairs and i am down, kind of like he is keeping everyone safe. They know the sound of the cabinet where I keep their treats and extra toys. For a siamese he has a really really quiet meow, but his purr is twice as loud. He and Khaleesi are truly bonded. When you see one you usually see the other. We are so blessed that he adopted us to be his family.

Cupid formerly known as "Gunther" is enjoying his new Mount Vernon, VA home with his two sisters Cleopatra and Rebel and his best buddy Smiley. Since he is so loveable and since he came to us in February, we thought it was only appropriate to call him "Cupid". We are so happy with this little guy. He loves to eat and can't wait for his next meal time. Cupid pats your face oh so gently when he wants your attention. He loves kisses on his head. How can we resist? Thank you for making this happen for us. We love him!

ROCKY
Outgoing, talkative, demanding, loving, everywhere and anywhere, I'm all about being around my people, talking to them, checking everything out, and wanting to explore! Every day is a new day and I am just loving life! I'm a bit spooked by things I've never met before (small kids, vacuum cleaners); but overall I never realized there were so many cool things to do in life ! Sit on laps, climb on cat trees, stare out the windows, check out what's for dinner....) Life is GOOD and it would be even better if I could find my very own home!

Notes from Home
Rocky is a great friend. He will come to whatever room I am in. He will lay next to me and sometimes on me. He has to be in my business all the time. He gets in the sink when I am brushing my teeth or putting on makeup. He waits outside the shower for me to get done. He loves company and doesn't hesitate to get on people's laps. Very small people make him a little nervous. He happily approached a very quiet 2year old sitting on my sofa, and received lots of pets and a hug. However if the small child is very active and boisterous he will keep his distance. This is strange because grown-up noisy people don't phase him. He knows where all the sun spots are in the house at different times of the day. He is very talkative to me and my husband with that strange little squeaky voice.
Rocky has never scratched the furniture and is content with the cardboard scratch boards. He has great litter box habits. I think the counter tops are a lost cause but he does get down when I tell him.
The vet said he would get all his stripes and he has.
Rocky will go on the screen porch IF I am out there also. He has no desire to go outside. I think he is thinking "The last time I went outside they closed the door and I never got back in. I'm not taking any chances!"
I love my baby. Had to leave him overnight as went went away for the weekend. He was fine but glued himself to me when I got home.
06/23/14
Rocky runs to his safe place (under my bed) whenever the doorbell rings. He soon comes out to check out the visitors. If I have a party with a lot of people he will not come out. He is still afraid of toddlers. I have a new grandson and I am hoping when he is older Rocky will overcome his fears. He is so smart. He will sit on command. He knows when its time for his treats. He is still good about not scratching furniture. He loves to watch the birds the cat tree on the screened porch. He likes high places. He is not good about keeping his claws sheathed when he wants to touch me, so we have to clip them often. He submits to this very well. He is great company for me. Last summer I went away for a week. My sister looked in on him daily and made sure he got his treats. He seemed okay with this and was glad to see me when I got home. Oh I almost forgot. When I watch TV in the evening I put a throw over myself. If I fall asleep Rocky steals the blanket and snuggles into it on the floor. I wake up cold.:)

Rocky is getting less afraid of strangers. When the doorbell rings he heads for the bedroom as always, but now he stops in the doorway to see who it is. Sadly he is still terrified of toddlers. My 3 year old grandson loves cats and would love to be friends with Rocky.

ROCKY
Wait just a second! I'm working on this terrible shelter cold. Meommy is going to take me to the vet next week for a check up and some meds to get rid of this nasty thing. But when I feel better I'm going to be ready to play!!
There's are some great toys here. And there are some other kitties too. I scared the dickins out of one of them. Meommy wants to see if I like any of the girls but she said I have to get over this cold first.
I'm having dreams of sugar plums dancing in my head. And maybe a good climb right up that Christmas tree!
You better ask about me quick though because I'm so cute folks are going to be fighting over me.
I'd like to open all the gifts of new kitty toys from the Siamese Store that you've bought for me!
Purrs and chirps, Pippin

Notes from Home
Rocky was welcomed home and has been doing great! He is still young and full of mischievous energy. He is enjoying himself as he explores every single inch of the house, both high and low, inside and out. He's been sprinting into the bedroom at 60 or 70mph and launching himself onto the bed, doing a mid-air 180, and streaking back the way he came in. He loves to get into the highest, tightest areas and cause havoc and knock everything over. I think that in a former life he was a dog, because he really enjoys poking around in the kitchen garbage can, and is fascinated by the toilet. He also likes to lick my face and boy does he have a rough tongue. He gets the good, expensive stuff, but he is more interested in what the humans are having for breakfast or dinner. He is a fan of vegetables, spaghetti, and even oatmeal, although we tell him this makes him weird, he is a rebellious cat doing his thing.
Overall he's the coolest cat in our neighborhood, because I've heard that the only other cat around is at the neighbor's house. His name is Sport, only 7 months old and has been knocking things over, going through the garbage, drinking from the toilet..JEEZ what kind of cat would do THAT?!

22JUN16 - Rocky has been living life to the fullest and is enjoying himself. He is still a rambunctious young man and continues to sprint around the house and has found a dear love of balloons. He seriously cannot get enough of them. He is showing us his moves as he boxes the string and he then goes parading around the house with the balloon firmly gripped in his mouth. He is so PROUD to have the skills to conquer such a devious floating...thing with a string. We have a high ceiling in the living room and if somehow he loses the balloon and it floats to the top, out of his reach, he becomes very agitated and stares at the balloon and complains until I retrieve it with two broom handles taped together. I have to hide the balloon in the closet in order to get his attention away from it. So he just LOVES birthdays, Valentine's Day, even Father's Day..because he usually gets a balloon to play with!
We have been feeding him a grain free dry food, usually Wellness or comparable. No 9 Lives or Meow Mix for this guy. I had a much-loved Blue Russian cat named Davy when I was growing up, and he died from kidney failure, which I'm sure was a result of the 9 Lives he ate everyday. Rocky is eating about a third of a can of wet food around 7 every evening. He prefers his wet food VERY wet, as a stew more than a pate, so I add quite a lot of water and he laps it all up. He was really digging the Solistic brand wet food with all the chunks and shreds of actual meat, but lately he just wants soupy lumpy pate. So we give him what he wants. He's more of a fish connoisseur than a chicken or turkey fan. He definitely prefers a fish-based dry food..this we find out after we bought a big bag of chicken recipe. Oops. Yeah he's definitely not chowing down on this as much but he's eating well nonetheless. He's at about 9 pounds now. Still very athletic and agile. He just had a visit to the vet for his leukemia shot so he's up to date in the medical department. He's really well behaved at the vet, and they are truly surprised at how he just allows them to position him and do their work. He's a pretty laid back dude. He also doesn't put up much resistance to an occasional bath either. He's fairly quiet during that ordeal and he does rake my arm a little or hook my shirt and try to climb out after 10 minutes or so, but overall he should be commended for his stoic bravery and the trust he places in his humans.
Rocky has been asking me about his foster mom Carol and wants her to know that he is forever grateful for her taking care of him when he had that nasty cold way back when, and for allowing Chris and Dandan to live with him in Port Republic. He's a member of the family and yes he's a spoiled cat. He has his own ginormous cat tree that is his personal territory and he does not tolerate any human encroachment of the top platform. I have indeed been swatted in the head as I walk past at night in the dark without knowing he's even up there. He's got fast hands and he's living up to his namesake. Rocky!

SUNY
I'm a little reserved at first, but with a soft touch and gentle hand, I warm right up. Young and healthy, I need to see the vet this week and will be ready to go the third week of June. A quieter home with a loving female cat, or as the only cat; either would work. I'm a slightly crosseyed very gentle souled kitty looking for my furever family.

June 2016: Can it be five years already!? Suny is still as wonderful, sweet and loving as ever. He had his yearly check up in May and is in great health, but we see some plague on his teeth so it may be time to get those polished. Suny's canines are rather long and the veterinarian remarked on how he has kept these so nicely!

He is a remarkable kittie and we love him dearly. Thank you!
-Cathay and Mike

June, 2012: This amazing cat has been with me for a year now! He's such a great companion to my little dog Sophie. The updated photo shows them sleeping in the bed under my desk in my home office.

Suny is playful, warm and loving, and no trouble at all. He seems to appreciate life, just like me, and reminds me to enjoy and relish the moments. He follows me around the house and flops down in a way that always brings a smile to me. While sleeping, he often rolls over on his back, and when awake and loving he often likes his tummy rubbed. His favorite toy is anything with feathers, although Sophie gets excited about this too. I end up throwing fetch with her with one hand while wiggling the feathery toy for Suny with the other. It's quite a nightly dance!

I can't thank you enough for Suny. I love him dearly!

We've had Suny here for two weeks, and yet, it feels like he's been here forever. The first night, he settled right in and slept with me and my little dog Sophie as if he knew his place. His purring and appreciative slinky body rubs against my hand, head, legs and arms are like a pouring out of how affectionate he is.

Suny never seemed to need much time to adjust. We began adapting him to his new home by keeping him in the master bedroom, with a cat tower by the 2nd story window and a 'igloo type' of cat box in the bathroom. He explored every nook and cranny right away, every item from top to bottom. Then he looked at me and seemed to let me know the closet was next.

After that, he explored the hall and my office. It all went swimmingly. I kept Sophie in my arms so she could see Suny and not overwhelm him, but they both indicated a time when they wanted to formally meet, and this could not have gone better.

As the days progressed, they have moved from sleeping on each side of me to one side, and now to sharing Sophie's day bed under my office desk when I am working. They play tag with each other and respect each other's food and space. The only thing I have to watch is Sophie's attraction to Suny's feathery toy...I have had to replace that one already. Sophie has a basket of toys but when I am playing with Suny and this toy, it's a bit much for the little dog! I end up holding her and we trade times playing (fetch with Sophie and scramble attack the feathery toy with Suny)! It is getting better.

Suny immediately knew where the food, water and cat box were and had no problems. He wants to follow us outside to the garden when I go out to weed and water, but he's learning that his domain is this home. And that he, my prince of a cat, makes this place even more of a warm home than ever.

He is wonderful, loving, angelic and delightful. He has fit right in! Thank you Siri, Andrea and all who assist with the adoption process.

Sweet, affectionate, loves to be babied. Toulouse needs to have a kitty playmate - either of his littermates would be excellent candidates (Marie and Berlioz). Check back as foster mommy learns more and adds pics and videos.

Notes from Home
Spike is my first Siamese Rescue foster failure. He just crawled up on me and won my heart immediately. He is fitting in like he has always been here, so I'm sure it was meant to be.

Spike gets along with all of the pets. Our old cats, Mr. Precious and Trouble, have made it clear not to bother them too much and he is usually respectful. Our 6 year old, Oreo, is showing him the ropes - and all bad habits, such as sleeping on the diningroom table! He is also Spike's playmate and they have begun racing around the house together. Lady, our dog, who has been raised with foster kittens, has been very tolerant. Spike likes to attack her tail and hind legs and Lady perks up, but doesn't take any action. They try to play together, but Spike has a little growing to do before that works very well.

Spike has had the full 24/7 run of the house for 4 days now and is doing great. He follows me around much of the time and comes when I either call him (Spike Spike the little Tyke) or make kissy sounds. He isn't overly adventurous and hasn't gotten into too much - yet. At night, he sleeps on our bed, purring, and wanting snuggles. He has been excellent at night, although I'm waiting for that to change!

He had his first vet visit yesterday and received many ooh's and aah's at the vet's office. Besides occasional sneezing, he is doing great.

I'm thrilled to have this sweet little guy, so full of personality, become a part of our family. I absolutely adore Spike!
