I just got here so foster Meowmy doesn't know too much about me yet, but she does know I am cute, sweet, and very playful! I came into rescue with my sister Ivy, and I love her very much. We would like to go home together. So anyone looking for a adorable pair of Meezers should definitely ask about us! And foster Mom will let you know more as she gets to know us better.

Mandu has been with us for a little more than a month now and is already Queen Bee! :) She and Mittens are besties now. We are so thankful to have this little ray of sunshine in our family. Thank you, VSRC. You guys made this such a wonderful process. It was clear from the beginning that you guys really care about both finding good homes for these babies and finding good matches for families. Everyone at our vet's office was so impressed with the quality of care and the thoroughness of your records. VSRC has an awesome reputation with our vets! You guys are the best!

SULLIE
Hey, big hunka terrific Meezer here. I'm all action all the time. You have toys? I'll play with them. You have ears? I'll talk to them. You have a door between you and me, and I play footsie underneath it. And best of all, if you have loving arms and lots of scritches to give, I'll take 'em!

7/30/15
Hi everyone! Wanted to give a short update on Cricket's (now Casey)progress. He did very good on the ride back to Wisconsin even with the ride taking over 3 hours!
He was seeking attention from us from the very beginning but up until Wednesday evening he was still very skittish. The biggest fear, our ceiling fans!
He loves the mix of Fromm dry and Wellness core dry foods, he and my little Argenta are peacefully existing as of wednesday, she was miss hissy all monday and less so by Tuesday so definitely as time goes by I am confident we will catch them sleeping together :)
Thank you for all the food and toys! I was not expecting it! Casey loves the crochet on the stick and both meezers love those tied material pieces!
I introduced Casey to the brush, for a short period, I disn't want to over stimulate him, and he was still very nervous, but he didn't mind it so I can't wait to make it routine and work on making his fur shine.
Last night we introduced him to the laser light, boy was he excited!
He has the playful attitude of a 3 or 4 year old!

I am trying to attach pictures but it doesnt seem to want to let me, so as soon as i am able I will get some up :)
Thanks again for all you have done to make adoption possible!
I will update again soon!

8/20/15 update
Hi all! Casey meet our vet monday, he was quite upset to see the carrier but did great at the visit, Dr.Keen did not detect a heart murmur but will keep it on his record to watch. There was a growth on his left cheek I discovered while grooming and the Dr. just cauterized it off. When we got home Mr. Casey was one happy kitty I think to see he came back to his house!
He did lose some weight he weigh in at 9.86 lbs but I think he looks fuller and he certainly loves what's on the menu daily! :)
Both meezers have equal temperaments and it seems to be a battle of wills here, only once did Casey hiss at Argenta as she towered over him, and a few times we have had to intervene as Casey backed Argenta in a corner, we usually let them be until I see ears back , and hear hissing growling. The rest of the time they coexist peacefully, Casey is a wild man with wanting to play and run through the house, and Argenta is not to crazy about the playing haha.
I bought Casey a banana after noticing how he really uses those back paws and man does he love it! The only thing is Argenta stole it so I had to buy her one!
The only other odd behavior we noticed from Casey is sometimes he takes a mouse and holds it in his mouth and well..growls. He Growls in a room all by himself so it does not seem to be agressive type behavior, the Vet thinks its a play behavior he has, freaked me out I removed all the mice for awhile :)
We are trying to redirect some bad manners Mr. Casey has, he is a counter and table jumper and tries to grab what on our dinner plates, basically with clapping hands and telling him no :)
That's it for now.
I will update again soon!

Happy 1 year anniversary Casey! It's hard to believe this gorgeous meezer has been with Sean and I over a year! Casey has really settled in nicely, we discovered he likes to play "fetch" with certain toys and Sean plays with him often. Casey has become very attached to us, he loves sitting near or on me as much as possible,ha! I pick him up quite often for jus t a few minutes for hugs and kisses and he is usually purring :)
Casey is not crazy about company though, he checks everyone out then stays in our bedroom just watching except for our 5 year old grandson -Casey stays out and visits only with him, odd right? That's okay, Argenta is our social butterfly and is the puuurfect hostess for the both of them! The meezer kids rough and tumble from time to time, but generally just ignore one another, my hope is one day they will be close friends :)
Casey does have a health issue, it turns out he has asthma, right now he is on prednisone and we will be getting him on an inhaler eventually, his heart murmur is still a downgrade of one which is great!
So my lititle boy seems to be happy and content with us :)

ANA
I am sweet and loving. I have a great appetite and love to play with my sister Bibi. We can stay together if you would like a pair. If not we each need a playful feline in our forever home. We like company of the furry kind.

UPDATE: Foster mom thought that we would be a good pair but it looks like no one wants two kittens and she knows we need a home so we will have to each go our own way, I am a great kitten and I love to play and I eat real good. I am a slim girl, I am ready for my new home and I hope to find it soon.

Notes from Home
Thank you for making Ana part of our family. For the first 24 hours she did not eat. However, we now see she is a hearty eater. She is a beautiful kitten and she is loved by everyone in our family. She is also adjusting well and is very playful. However, she seems to come alive at night. She is sleeping on Jasmin's bed (see picture). We are only keeping her in one room because our home is very large. We will allow her to branch out in the future. We will need to purchase her a small bell to hear her, as she is very quiet as she moves around the room sometimes. Finally, she goes to the litter box and enjoys talking to us. Thank you to all the people who have assisted us in making this lovely kitten a part of our family. She will be well loved and cared for. Her vet visit is scheduled for 1/21/2016. We will give an update on health status sometime after the appointment. Please feel free to contact us if needed. Please send this email to anyone who was part of the process. Everyone is appreciated. Thanks again.

Attached are pictures of our beautiful Ana.

Thank you and God bless,
Glen and Mona

Glen and I wanted you to know that Ana is doing great. She is still a good-eater and has grown to be a very beautiful cat. Thank you for the opportunity to rescue her. She is well-loved.

FRANKIE
Are you thinking about two cats? Does your current cat need a buddy? I'm pretty shy around those humans, but I'm really good with cats. Can you help me get home? The cats that I like here keep getting homes but not me! I need a buddy who is outgoing and friendly. Kittens are grrrrreat! I'm so handsome and foster mom just wishes I would have courage and come out to visit with her, but I just can't. It's too scary still. When things are all quiet, I come out to play. And when I have a friendly buddy around, I am so brave. I'm really no trouble at all. I use the litter box like a champ, and plenty of dry kibble and water to slurp is all it takes. I want a real home again. And I really need a friendly buddy. Oh please tell me my furrever home is out there. I know it must be!

Notes from Home
Frankie made the move with me from South Carolina to Pennsylvania and he was a little stressed out and stayed in his happy corner for a while. But, he's relaxing now and loves the cooler weather and sitting by the screens watching birds and rabbits. He's still a fraidy cat, but gives me morning snuggles before howling to get me up for breakfast.

RUDY
I was turned in to the shelter when the family mastiff started thinking that I was a chew toy. Rather than see me eaten as a snack they decided I was better off in a new home. I'm getting along fine with the other kitties here, but they scare me if they play too rough. I'm a talkative little guy, and tell you to pick me up just about every time you put me down. I love people, and I love attention. But I don't like those doggies!

Yeah! I get to go home with Rachel!

Rudy passed over the Rainbow Bridge a little over a year ago. He had not been sick or showing any signs of slowing down when we came home to find him gone. He remained the love bug that he was as a kitten all of his life and Rachel, Jamie & I spoiled him as rotten as we could, every chance we could. He eventually got over his fear of dogs and ruled our house, when Silver would let him, with a stern paw. The dogs DEFINITELY knew HE was boss He used to curl up and sleep with them when they were puppies and that continued after they were adults. He was happy and contented with us for his entire life. He passed about 1 month after Silver did, so maybe he just missed her too much. I don't know.

PADMé (FORMERLY GYPSY)
For all you Star Wars fans out there - I am Padme' the mother. Like my daughter, Leia, I am not "fiction", but a "fact" of a cat looking for my forever home. Here are the most important facts about me:

I have stunning blue eyes and l..o..n..g whiskers AND I will let you admire them unendingly.

I love to sit on you AND hope you'll share your lap with me very often.

I am a super snuggler under the covers AND I'll help keep you warm.

I give "high fives" AND can charm just about anyone to my cute ways. (foster mom is trying to get a video of me giving "high fives" - I'm really cute.)

I love people AND would rather have you with me whenever you have time.

I am a "beauty shoe" AND have that wonderful snowshoe personality that my foster mama loves and so will you.

These are just a few of my personal "facts", so please be sure to hit the "ask about me" button and foster mama, Katie, will give you more of my "facts" - No fiction here.

I can't believe it's been eight years!!! I love this little cat, she has truly been my little light. She loves to snuggle, eat wet food, sit in the window and chirp at birds, lick my face when it's time to get up, and ever leaves my side when I'm sad or sick. I am so lucky and grateful to have found such an amazing kitty! I renamed her after adopting her, miss kitty fantastico- just kitty for short.
One amazing story about this little love-
My dad had a heart attack a few years ago and I moved in with him to help take care of him and brought kitty with me. She snuggled up with him, pretty much day and night, sometimes right on top of his chest. She loved being near him, and though he may never admit it, he loves her too. I know I've heard that a purring cat can lower your blood pressure, and I think she had a big part in his recovery. She is a BIG snuggler and still bunny soft.
I can't thank you enough for pairing me up with her! She is so loved. I uploaded some choice pictures I've taken over the years!

SUNDANCE
Just arrived at Foster Mom's yesterday. All she said was "Wow" when I came out of the carrier. If I do say so myself, I'm absolutely gorgeous and although I'm not telling, Foster Mom thinks that I've got some Ragdoll in my background because of my size (I'm a big boy!) and my long lush fur. I'm not for the "fur-phobic" but if you're looking for a lover boy - I might be the boy for you.

Foster Mom is working on getting some better pictures of me but I'm too busy head-butting and rolling over for belly rubs to spend too much time posing.

I'll tell you more about myself as I settle in but if I've already picqued your interest - go ahead and ask about me.

Sundance has been the love of our lives for the past 3 years! He can not get enough attention from us. I recently rescued a 1YEAR old tiger striped cat who was up in a tree for 24hrs and no one claimed her. They are now best friends and sleep together and groom each other. Sundance is still skittish around other people but he's perfect with us. The new cat has actually made him a little braver.

ANNIE
I love to play and I love to run. I am an active cat. I put up with the other cats here but I could be happy all by myself. I do need toys. Toys, toys, and more toys.I love to snuggle and spend most nights sleeping by foster mom's feet.

I am good about using appropriate scratching things. I love the thing called a wave and use it all the time. I am ready for my new home and hopeful it will come soon.

Sorry for failing to respond with an update on Annie on her one year anniversary with us. She has been a pure delight (or should I say "purrrrr delight"). She communicates with us in very intelligent ways and we seldom think of her as a cat. She's just a full fledged member of our family. To her we are "mommy and daddy". Needless to say, it's not necessary to tell you who's in charge in our household. Thank you so very much for making her available to us and all you did in the selection and reception process.
