MITZIE
Hi!

I'm a beautiful, friendly snowshoe. I lost weight while I was at the shelter, so my foster mom has been working hard to get me to eat. I am now eating again!

I am the snuggliest little girl and love to love & be loved. Now that I am over my depression about losing my original home, I'm looking forward to finding my forever home.

MAVERICK
Oooo La-la, What a GORGEOUS pair of boys!
Maverick is still slowly checking out his new situation, but following Goose's lead. These boys must go home together, they have been together since birth. Maverick depends on Goose to scope out the situation, then he will join in the adventure.
They love to talk, with each other and with you.
They won't be here very long, you'd better be quick to click if you want to enjoy the adventures of Maverick and Goose.

Well, I finally got my act together and I am ready to leave this cell. I hope my next stop has plenty of wide open spaces. I've been complaining about being locked up for so long, but foster mom tells me it's only for a little while. Well long enough, I'm going home, my home, my new home, and I'm taking Goose with me. See ya!

Notes from Home
Maverick is doing very well, he has gotten quite a shine to his fur, with a little fancy feast and a lot of patting.
I kept their names, anyone who has one knows how smart they are and they will answer to it, He loves to jump up on my desk and demand attention, my desk and monitor are covered with his hair. He has relaxed quite a bit and loves company, most cats hide when people come, not these two, they like to be in the center of things,
They love spring and sitting in the windows watching the birds, and I have lots of pictures I will upload later today,

11/7/13 Mr. Maverick has gotten a little bigger, 14 pounds and will be on a semi diet , not that he is fat ......... he is very muscular with a little fluff about his middle, she suggested cutting the dry food and just giving them a little at a time, because its like a bag of chips, they will eat it if its there, but Dr. Anne was impressed with their beauty and there were other meezers there coming and going while we were there.

The boy have a new facebook page called "The Tails of Goose and Maverick" and I will upload new pictures more often. They are both beautiful and still adjusting but follow me around like little ducklings and sit on the back of the couch if I an on the couch and if I am in bed they are in bed . they love my office , one sits on the mouse pad and the other sits right across and watches every move.

St. Patrick's day 2013, my boys anniversary of coming home. Maverick is doing great, he loves chicken and you would think he was a dog they way he begs when he knows we are eating chicken, just gave him some for breakfast. He loves being brushed and is so shiny and bright eyed. They both had their vet apt in November and he was about 13 pounds and a little heavy but not bad. He loves sitting in the window or on the back or the couch and watching the birds. They are together and if one is missing he calls for the other one. really nice bonded pair. They will have a little tiff now and then over a nice place to sit or a treat and Mav usually wins. He is definitely the boss. They are doing great after one year.

4/26/14 It's almost a month since Maverick became an only child. He is doing surprisingly well, become quite a snuggler , likes to sleep now either on my pillow on touching me. He is much more affectionate than ever. I will post a new picture today too of my bed buddy.

3-17-16, Happy St. Patrick's Day. Maverick is doing great and looking good. He is on Facebook at "We are Siamese if you please, Maverick, Princess and Peanut" Last fall he became big brother to a pair that looked very much like he and goose. Their birthday is just 3 months before his. They are all still getting used to each other and love to chase each other around. I still miss Goose, but he is not suffering anymore and Maverick has moved on without any problems and loves to sleep on top of me every night.

3-15-17 Maverick is doing great with his new brother and sister. He is very healthy and sleeps with me every night, he is a snuggler and loves to fluff me every morning. He loves when we have chicken and sits and waits for pieces to fall on the floor for him. He is still pretty frisky and loves his cat nip and his toys.

ASHTON
Lovely plus size pair of lap cats! We are immediately well adapted, easy going, love laps and attention. We follow you if you'd like us to, come for laps and pets whenever you want, and are excellent in all our habits. We come with lots of goodies and our super sized bed! We are anxious for our home; I do have a nodule in my lung and so I want to get home as soon as I can to enjoy some time with you and with my brother. (No fees for me!)

ALI
My life has been turned upside down. Adopted as a kitten, I'm now back in rescue and everything is unfamiliar. What I really want is a home and family of my own where I can be your little princess. I'll need a couple of days alone to decompress when I get to a new home, but after that I'll start to show my sweet side.

No new pictures yet
Notes from Home
Aleece has calmed very well after a log nap. She seems to be orienting herself to a new home and is now lounging on the carpet, sometimes on her back or side and loving some human touch and gentle pettting. Eating, using the litterbox and quiet meows..

1/29/2019 Ali is bonding very well! She is eating well and not quite as tentative. This morning she was sitting in the loft looking into our bedroom waiting for us to get up. She talks very softly and rubs all over our legs. She is the sweetest little girl! She loves to be around us and if she does not see me ... she will patiently wait to I come back to the room and talk to me.

2/3. Ali has now been with us a week! She is sweet, loving, craves attention and a real princess! She is startled by loud noise but adjusted very well. She loves her Millie bed and you can only see hers ear tops when she is in it. When she sits on our laps or next to us, she touches us with her paws or nose to keep contact. We are very lucky to have found her. I will be making her vet appointment soon and I will update after the trip to the vet.

2/10 I have now been with my new family two weeks. i am very happy here and we celebrated the 2 week anniversary with a few shrimp treats! I still have not picked a favorite sleeping spot, but the couch will always do if I cannot make up my mind. I greet my mom and dad at the door and roll on my back to show them I missed them when they come in. My favorite toy so far is a squeaky green birdie that mom and dad throw for me. Life is great here!

2/17 Ali is a lovey happy girl. Each day we see more of the personality she has developed. She follows me to my office every day I work. I say “Ali time to go to work... “ and she takes over my chair in seconds... she loves treats, catnip, and chicken and oat beyond. She likes ALOT of our dinners... chicken, turkey, Mahi, shrimp, and lobster. Momma got her first chase fun. I went up to my office and Ali chased me ad batted at my pants...no claws lol. She does not sleep with us. I slept in the loft for a few days because my husband was ill. She slept with me there, but when I moved, she hid under the table.... ? Bad experience? She sits on our laps or near us all the time. Thank you for my sweet lovely girl!

2/19 Today was Ali first vet visit. She is very healthy but does not like leaving home and going to the vet. Too many noises and smells and I heard her hiss for the first time. She is up to 11.2 lbs. I think the vet office is not her favorite place. They did marvel at how beautiful she is and glad we have another Siamese! When she got home.. all was forgotten and she is her lovey calm self!

3/21 It has been a month since my last update. Ali is the light of our life! Her personality shows more fun characteristics every day. She is with me all day while I am working except to get water, or eat. Last night at bedtime she brought her bag of treats upstairs to us for a bedtime snack. She has taken to beyond chicken and egg treats and will talk for us to give her some. She greets visitors to our house and rubs up against them. My 3 y/o grandson was here last weekend for 2 days and Ali was very good with all his wild activity. No hissing, no biting, no scratching. She is absolutely delightful! She is sweet, happy, healthy and very loving

3/31. I don’t know how many updates you get, but I feel certain with her return to foster makes this an important update. My husbands grandaughter came unexpectedly to our home this afternoon. She had not yet met Ali as they are hours away. She is ten years old. She came in the door and Ali greeter her. Before I could get to them, she picked up Ali and was loving and petting her. Ali melted under her loving touch, then laid on her lap until they left. This sweet girl warmed all of our hearts that moment more than words can express. She is the sweetest little girl I have ever met. We are so blessed!

4/7 Ali will be turning 6 on the 11th! Wish we had found her sooner!

BLAISE
Bonjour! I am a very affectionate, active teenage boy! I like to give lots of head butts and sit in your lap and even climb on your shoulders if you let me. I have a lot of energy, so I might need a fur friend and lots of playtime. It's never a dull moment with me! I am easy peasy, no medical, just a good boy looking for a loving home.

Merci beaucoup!

ROMEO
Young, healthy, playful, and definitely living up to my name! I am a little nervous about bumps in the night and things I'm not sure of (which are quite a bit), but my loving inquisitive nature soon gets the best of me. I'm a catnip fiend too! A quieter home BUT one that will allow playtime as I'm likely to live up to the snowshoe reputation of being one crazy player!

Thank you to Siamese Rescue for my Romeo. He has brought so much joy to my life. He is a happy boy that loves to play and snuggle equally.

Romeo and I have had some life changes, some very serious and some very not. We were a family of five, but now a family of two. It was scary and sometimes lonely in the beginning, but we are doing very well right now. He is still a playful boy that demands his play time by dragging his toys to me. Let's never forget to play.

HERSHEY BAR
Yes, I'm drop dead gorgeous, sensitive and loving, needy and very Siamese! Can I follow you everywhere, including home please? I am looking for someone to spend as much time as possible with, on you, on your lap, in your bed, going wherever you go! I will be glued to your hip, your heart and your home!

No new pictures yet
Notes from Home
Hershey sits on my lap as I write his 3rd day update. He is adjusting great. We think he spent most of his life locked in a room and very nervous. He sleeps between us, on his back spread out! He can run under a couch in no time flat. He's learning how to play and relax. The first night we kept him in the bedroom but he's a door thumper so night #2 we let him explore. We had a friend over tonight and he wasn't afraid. He is meeting the vet this weekend!

10/5/15
Everything has been going well except on day 5 he started hair pulling. He was lying next to me grooming and then spit out a tuft of fur! And again the next day. No changes in the housing no visitors. The vet gave him a steroid shot to rule out a continuation of a flea allergy that was noted on his first intake. It didn't help a bit. He is going on a all duck/venison diet to rule out a food allergy and in the interim, a short term SSRI. Came home from work and no hair pulling!

10/10/15
Well he is on busiprone in hopes this will lower his anxiety. He hair pulls at the oddest times, when is lying next to you grooming, when he wakes at night. We can't watch him constantly so we bought him 2 collars: he pulls the cloth one over his head and pouts when it's put on him. Today we left him for 3 hours and no hair pulling. We really enjoy having him despite.

12/28/2025
Buspar wasn't effective. We went back on Prozac- same dose he was on at the center. He is doing such much better in just 3 weeks of treatment. He has had a rough transition: hiding, not eating, hair pulling. He needs lots of hand holding, encouraging and play time. A rescue cat is a great idea but you really need a great vet, patience and consistency. He is getting ready for bed now, under the covers of course!

9/26/2016
Hershey is doing really well. He takes a daily Prozac 2.5 which helps his anxiety. The hair pulling has really ceased with the Prozac tho he does have an occasional pull. He loves being the only pet in the home. He has to sleep on your head nightly. He is wherever you are but mostly in your lap or thrown over your shoulder while you walk around the house. He is very loved!
9/26/2017
Hershey's two year anniversary! He is doing great! No health issues but he still has the occasional hair pulling tantrums typically when he feels ignored. He remains on 2.5 mg Prozac daily. He is happy being the only pet in this big house and he demands to be a part of everything you do!

Hershey still rules the house. He loves being the center of attention and has to be involved in everything you do. He is doing great. Still on Prozac for hair pulling but doing well.

3/27/2019 yes still have Hershey and he is the only pet (beside a turtle) in the home. I would like to volunteer not adopt another as Hershey would like the competition for lap time. Back up person would be aime grimsley (sister) at aimegrimsley@msn.com 919-624-7567

JENNY
From outside to the county shelter where I was a scared, "meatloaf" kitty

Then I went with a nice lady to rescue and lived at a rescue center with a dozen other kitties. I was a very shy gal and had to have multiple dental extractions; life can only get better from here! I hid a lot and play was the key to my heart, as I like wand toys especially that feather toy!

Now I am in a foster home and I am chatty, affectionate, and playful. I like to sit in the window and watch the happenings outside. Birds and squirrels really fascinate me, so much to see. snuggling in bed with foster meowm is nice too. I make biscuts and purr.

A quieter home with a patient owner will be best for me.

Hi all! Jenny is doing great. She is super happy in her home, sleeps on top of me every night, and has otherwise been a perfect kitty. She is definitely shy but has come out immediately for the cat sitting I had once over a weekend and has visited friends during a dinner party. Loves to chase the ribbon around the apartment and lay in the morning sun. Chirps and meows at me for attention basically all the time. We are moving to Minnesota for the next year and we are excited for the new adventures ahead. I think she will do great in our new apartment and at my lake house!

INDIANA JONES - INDY OR INDY B
OK - here I am in my glory. I know you want to know about my name right off. Well, I have a short tail - probably an amputation at tome point in my life - and I'm sure someone looked at my tail and said that I had a "Boo Boo". SO, that's my name. I am however, so much more than my name and short tail. I am a really stunning blue point (with faint lynx stripes on my points) and a HUGE personality. I am easy going, laid back, a talker with a big vocabulary, a lover of people, cats, food, new places and LIFE. Nothing seems to phase me. I will do well in almost any home. I was removed from my original home by the Board of Health and they said that I couldn't go back, so I'm now patiently waiting for my next home. Mama Katie says that no matter what the reason I was taken away from my family, they had taken pretty good care of me and helped me to be a very happy and healthy cat. If you'd like to have a fantastic boy in your home, you'd better ask about me. Oh, yes, I am also front declawed so I won't scratch your furniture. Purrs and headbutts, Boo Boo

Indy continues to be a joy ! He's the most loving, kitty ever ! He let's all the grandchildren carry him around like a baby. Never a bad mood or bad behavior. We consider ourselves so lucky to have him. Thank you!

3 years later and Indy is the kitty every visitor wants to take home. He is the most loving wonderful boy and we love him so much!

3/2019 Indy has been I’m partner in Hospice Service for over a year. He was the most amazing exceptional boy. He was incredible at his job of loving on dying people. After surviving a rare Ohio Valky Faunus that invaded his liver, we are heartbroken to report that are beloved precious Indy was diagnosed with a very aggressive breast cancer. He left us and we are beyond grief stricken.
