ALEXIS
Well here is the scoop. I am a shy girl and foster mom doesn't think that I was treated very well before my rescue. I shy away at hands but I love to be petted and scritched. I like to keep my feet on the floor so she is working with me to enjoy being picked up and held. I am a beautiful cat who is working hard at being all I can be. I am not aggressive and I don't bite or anything.

Do you think you can find room in your heart for me and give me the time I need to settle into a new home and family?

alexis is the self-appointed alarm clock, she lets me know when it's time to fill the food bowl every morning and evening. she still loves playing with toys and is devoted to the brush. when she sees it she comes running.
Alexis is still an alarmist. She is the town crier. Alexis is content, but she does like the wet meal on time every morning. She is very devoted to the old meezer geezer, Brandon, but she knows who rules the house. He does. Alexis loves to play and chase the laser light. Even though she is still skittish about being picked up...okay she really will not let me pick her up, but she comes running when she sees or hears the wirebrush. She is truly a happy cat when she is being brushed.

BRANDON
Hiyas! My name is Brandon. Boy did I have a rough start in this ole world. I came from a house where they had over 90 cats! Can you believe that?!? And I'm just a little guy so I got picked on a lot! But luckily I had my big "brother" William The Regal to protect me and luckier still we ended up in the same foster home! I love William bunches but I think I've had all I can stand of other cats so I think I'll just stick with William ifin it's OK wif you. I'm a little shy around strangers but if you can be patient with me you'll think I was made of Velcro! My favorite thing is to give gentle kisses and to cuddle in a warm lap. I especially like it if you could hold me in your arms and pet me when I'm cuddling. Now I have to admit that I'm pretty playful too and my foster dad says I'm a real klutz. Anyways, me and William wish every day for a forever home. If you've ever wanted a little furry guy to look up at you with eyes that seem to hold all the love in the universe, then I'm your boy! Snuggles, Brandon Foster: Lisa & Steve in Jacksonville Congrats Jewel in SC!

Notes from Home
brandon is a grizzled old geezer meezer who spends his days snoozing in any comfortable spot. here's a picture of brandon and alexis.

Brandon is still going strong. He lives a quiet life with Alexis. Brandon loves to cuddle with me before I leave for work each morning. He has never been much of a talker, but for such a little guy, his coat is incredible. No matter how much he is brushed, there is still more to brush. It is a losing battle. I don't wear anything dark unless I want to be confused with my cat. After all this time he is a joy and a gentle soul. Of course that stops the moment it is time for a visit to the vet. Then he become a whiny baby.

LADY LING
Fabulous, full-figured seal point Meezerette with a cheerful demeanor and inquisitive nature.
Ling is good with respectful children, as she has a generous and patient character, but is fearful of other cats.
A wonderful companion, she loves to follow her purrson around the house, supervising and providing commentary. Perfect litter box habits and, as a 4 paw declaw, no scratching issues! Loves to sleep on the bed, tucked in next to you :)
Ling is doing well on a simple weight reduction plan and enjoys interactive playtime with furry mice and crinkle balls.
This gentle little girl would love a home where her purrson(s) are home most of the day and can provide her the attention and company she craves.

Ling is doing great in her new home. She adjusted very quickly. She grazes on her food throughout the day. She is even drinking more water! She loves her pipe cleaners :) Ling also sleeps in the bed with us every night. She is so funny. She must know where we are at in the apartment at all times or she comes running to find us. It is the cutest thing. We love her very much and are so blessed that we could adopt her.

Ling has adjusted well to her new home. She loves to lay in the computer chair, chase her treat ball around, and cat nap in the sun. She isn't fond of the vacuum cleaner. She will meow you down for food so you better be on time with her meals! :) Ling is intrigued with plastic bags and loves to play with them. She is doing better when she has to be in the car.

TWIST
I'm making slow progress toward being brave. Life wasn't always kind to me so I tend to wonder if good things are coming with a touch. I show mom my elevator butt every day now so she knows I like some attention. Maybe soon I will quit hiding in my beddies.

Twist is perfect. After all these years she still won't let me pick her up but she sleeps with next to me every night , always on me while watching TV and she and her brother are always grooming each other. and laying next to each other. A very healthy and happy kitty!!! I love her dearly.
(6th Anniversary 3/24/14)

7years - OMG- Well after all this time she still will not let me pick her up but she is the first one every night laying next to me in bed and usually under the covers. She is affectionate, and beautiful and in very good health. She loves laying in the sun on the windowsill. She and the other two get along fine. And they all groom each other. But no one who comes in the house ever sees her because she runs and hides.
9/23/16
Very sadly, we had to put Twist to sleep in June. After Houdini died several months earlier she took over his place in he house. She and Pattaya were very close, often sleeping next to each other .It broke my heart to lose Twist. She was my second adoptee. She started to lose weight but the vet couldn't find anything wrong after a lot of testing. Then the seizures started.. I wanted to adopt another right away, but I felt that Pattaya needed time just like I did. But I think we are ready to add to our family again. Pattaya is very settled. and so am I

SIMON TEMPLAR
Hi there my foster pops says Im a handsome seal point snow shoe with an adorable tail that looks like it's been dipped in white paint. He says I'm a wonderful boy who should be ready to go home after Mid-September.

It sure would be nice to have a home of my own with a couple of fellow felines to play with and a human or two who would love me enough to keep me around. Could that be you, wonderful you? I can now play with foster pops cat Tony and & foster pops other 3 feline friends.

Foster Pops says I am an intelligent, agile, and strong cat. I wonder what that means. He also says that I could be called his "roadrunner" due to the way I sometimes race around the house.

Notes from Home
Cocoa (previously known as Erika) literally had a zero adjustment period. She slept on my shoulder cuddled into my neck on her first night home. She has the run of the house and its incredible to watch her discover new things. She is constantly amazed at what she sees looking out the window from her perch. My daughter and I are completely in love with her. She had a wonderful first visit to vet - everyone in the office fell in love with her. She went into the baby scale as soon as the doctor said - now I'm going to weight you. Very intelligent kitten. Then she proceeded to sit in the vet's lap. very sweet, lovable, and playful. We are all so happy!

Update: Cocoa continues to be a delight! She is a sweet, funny, and playful baby. She just jumped up on the computer keyboard when she saw her pictures to help with this update. She loves people and her food (both cat and people food). We are truly fortunate to have her as part of our family and we think she feels the same!

Update: New pictures from Cocoa's 1st Birthday party!

9/22/16
Coconut Chanel (for the glorious and always fashionably correct Coco Chanel) Juniper (for her eyes as blue as juniper berries) Meringue (granddaughter Katherine's description of her incredibly beautiful fur coat) - nickname Cocoa - continues to amaze us and further entrench herself into our hearts and enrich our souls. We cannot imagine living our lives as fully without her. Not only has she won the hearts of our extended family who visit our home frequently, as well as our friends and neighbors, but she has managed to convert the occasional diehard "dog person" (notably my daughter-in-law) who has had the pleasure to meet her into a "cat person". She is sweet, charming, gorgeous, smart, personable, intuitive, playful (loves to push objects from tables and counters when not getting what she considers the proper amount of attention) and a great athlete as well. I remain eternally grateful to the Siamese Cat Rescue Center for allowing us to welcome Cocoa into our home, and to that good Samaritan who rescued her from the side of the road in Virginia!!

CHARMEE
Let me tell you a little about myself:

- I'm very intelligent and since I believe I'm much more intelligent than the average human, I also insist on doing things my way.

- I'm very independent. That means that I'm not a clingy or needy cat. Don't get me wrong, I love attention, can be very affectionate - even possessive of my human, and I do enjoy laps - but on my own terms and timing.

- Because I'm so intelligent, I also have a very strong purrsonality which can be a bit overwhelming at times. I've heard Foster Meowm use the word 'tortitude' to describe me quite a bit. Hey, I just know what I want, when I want.

So what do I need in an adopter ? Well mainly they'll need to be very confident, experienced and cat-savy, Someone who will appreciate all the qualities that make me what I am . I know the right adopter is out there somewhere, is it you ?

Notes from Home
Charmee met Dr. McCann yesterday. He and the ladies were very impressed by how pretty she is and how well-behaved.
Charmee loves chasing the cat faeries up and down the hall and seems to enjoy the noisy toys better than the quiet ones.
She's slept with me every night since she came home.
I love this cat and could not be happier to have her in my life. She makes me laugh every day and what a blessing that is.

Mom says I'm the best cat ever. Well, of course I am, but I'm glad she realizes it. She says I've helped her through some hard times lately and that's a good thing.
I love noisy toys, but Mom doesn't seem to understand that everything is a cat toy. I'm trying to train her, but you know how humans are.
I'm very glad that I picked this human to take me home.
3/19/14
There is no way to explain how much Charmee means to me. She's been a delight from day one. If this is "tortitude," it's the best! When I came home from my last visit with Mom, Charmee curled up on my shoulder, put her head on my cheek and purred me to sleep. She always seems to know when I need that extra snuggling.
She's snoopervised the plumber and the dry wall guy and my neighbor, who's a dog person, told me that she'd get a cat, if she could get one just like Charmee. Well, she can't, because she's all mine!

She's slept with me every night since she arrived. Sometimes at the foot of the bed and sometimes right beside me purring and purring. Just knowing that she's here brings me joy.

I could not be happier.

It's Charmee's Gotcha Day 2014 and it's a definite celebration. She continues to "save" me by just being herself. She makes me laugh every day. I took a picture of her this morning which I'll post, so you can see that she's still a beauty.

2015. Another wonderful year with my Charmee. She continues to delight me and every one she meets.
She strolled right in to the carrier for her annual physical and I've never had a cat do that before. Of course, she was happier to get out when we got back home!

As you can see from her new picture, she enjoys keeping up with all the latest happenings via the daily newspaper.

Charmee and I are definitely a "bonded pair" and I couldn't be happier about that.

2016. Three years. Sometimes it seems like forever and sometimes like it's only been a minute. Charmee is a joy and I couldn't be happier that she came home with me.
She even lets me trim her claws!

CRYSTAL
Outgoing, happy, playful and curious ! Dogs ok, cats ok, does try to be bossy. Loves her cuddles, when she isn't too busy exploring .

No new pictures yet
Notes from Home
We LOVE Crystal.... She has been alert, sweet, friendly, and loveable from the minute she entered our home. We did isolate her for a little over a week - playing musical rooms with her and Caesar. I had 2 bedrooms equipped with litter and food which allowed me to let Crystal explore the house while Ceasar was sleeping in another room. He knew (could smell) she was here but couldn't see her. Crystal was fine but I did notice a change in Caesar's personality - he is "on guard" and not his sweet self. He is definitely mad at me - does not enjoy lap time like he used to. I sure hope this goes back to normal.....

We've had all the doors open for several days now and they can see each other. Caesar did charge Crystal the 1st day or so and Crystal growled and ran for cover, but she did turn around and stand her ground. Encounters are getting better - they both look for the other and get close, but no real acceptance yet. Crystal does growl at Caesar when he gets close. It's getting better, but I need my old Caesar back cause he's really ticked at me - still.

Other than dealing with Caesar, Crystal is absolutely wonderful. She cuddles and talks and plays and is sooooo beautiful and sweet! Ron loves her too and I have some great pictures of the two of them.

Personality - I have never had a cat that is so------ food crazed... Crystal surely loves her food - but it is really funny to watch how intense she gets when the can is opened. Caesar always eats well but I can open a can of food for him and sometimes have to actually pick him up and put him in front of the dish. What a difference!

10-9-14: Crystal is such a beauty and has the best personality. We can't imagine life without her now. April (dog) wags her tail when she sees Crystal and they sleep together (with me). Caesar is being more difficult. We played musical rooms for a while but now both cats have the run of the house. Caesar has charged at Crystal a few times and does hiss at her - and Crystal hisses back. However, this is happening less and less. Sometimes they end up close together and are OK but sometimes they still hiss. I think Crystal would be OK with Caesar if he would lighten up a little. He's getting there as they are close when they eat and other odd times of the day. Caesar sleeps at the foot of my bed (as usual) with the dog and Crystal sneaks up and across me to sleep on the other side. She's so cute!

Caesar is still REALLY mad at me and sometimes just stares at me and hisses - something he's NEVER EVER done. This too is getting less and less, but it makes me sad as he and I were so close. I still have 2 litter boxes but they are sharing and I am about ready to change to only 1.

All of the above does not bother Crystal at all - she is a perfectly happy girl who loves to play, sleep and cuddle, although eating is her very favorite thing. I have scheduled her appointment with my vet for next week but all in all - Crystal is wonderful - and very happy.

10-14-14: Took Crystal to the Vet today as promised. She now weighs 5.5lbs and my vet says she is healthy and happy. They tried to scan her chip, but apparently their device doesn't recognize the chip. Wondering if you've had this issue before?. Crystal follows me everywhere. She cuddles but plays hard when active - it's so cute... Caesar is putting up with her now but prefers to leave if she comes around - although I do feed them together and have uploaded a picture of this.. Ron is loving her - she is just so cute and alert. Still is food obsessed - not sure that will ever change - maybe because of her tough beginnings. All is good in our world...

3-6-2015: Crystal is amazing. She is always watching to see what we are going to do next - has to be right there with us. Not a fan of lap sitting, but lays down so close to us and heat butts and purrs and begs for attention - on her terms :-) Chrystal's colors are changing every day = she is just beautiful. She makes a striking contract to Caesar, my wedgie chocolate boy. Caesar and Crystal are now playing - chasing each other around the house like 2 siblings. I give Crystal all the credit for this as she wouldn't let Caesar intimidate her with his hissing. She just kept messing with him till he finally gave up and figured she was here to stay. Crystal is teaching Caesar how to play (like a cat) and I think he is beginning to enjoy it. It did take about 6 months to get to this point. It's kind of funny as Caesar is a purebred Siamese (long and slim) weighing only 7 lbs. Crystal is gaining weight and muscle, and when she wrestles him down to the floor, he is "really" pinned down. Then he tries to do the same to her but doesn't have the same weight behind him. All in all, Ron and Caesar and I are thoroughly enjoying this special girl.

9-20-16: Just received the email indicating that Crystal has been with us for 2 years. What an amazing cat she has become! She and Caesar have come to terms and they even sometimes play. Crystal and Caesar can be seen sharing their food and often chase each other around the house and up and down the cat tree. Crystal also gets along with our dog, Aprill. Although Crystal has not become a lap cat, she always likes to be near us and sleeps right beside me every night (along with Caesar and April). She is sooooo beautiful and everyone who meets her comments on how gorgeous she is. Ron and I have totally enjoyed our 2 years with Crystal and hope to have many, many more years of her companionship. As for Crystal, she is in charge of her world and has become a beautiful, smart, and integral part of our family. She has adopted us.....

ROSIE
My name is Claudia. I lost my Mommy because she had to go live in a nursing home and I couldn't go with her. I am a talker. I am very sweet but a little sad over losing my mommy. Anyone else see the heart on my nose? It means I am so full love it spilled over....

p.s. In some of pictures my ears are laid back a little making me look like a gremlin. I just have itchy ears right now and they bother me a little. But I am getting meds for them so they won't be itchy for long!

3/29/15 Claudia has been home for a week now. She is such a sweet cat. She is still a little skittish. She absolutely loves to be petted. We are getting elevator butt and lots of purrs. She loves her wet food. She has now decided that sleeping on the bed is great. We love our new little girl.
4/22/15 Rosie has been here a month today. She is doing very very well. We now leave the bedroom door open all day and she ventured downstairs last night. She is eating well and we still keep her in the master bedroom at night to be sure she gets her wet food which she loves. She is a sweet little thing and loves to be petted.
8/11/15 Rosie is doing fantastic. She has made herself right at home here. Loves sleeping on the bed with us. She also needs her petting. She really likes my old guy Rocky (gray tabby). She can be seen sometimes just running around for no reason. Plays with her toys when the notion suits her. She is a sweet gentle little cat who is thriving in her new home. Yes we do love her and she is HOME!!!!!!
3/22/16 One year with this wonderful sweet girl. She is in renal failure but so far doing ok with it. She is such a good girl taking her meds and fluids. We love her so much. She has become a lap sitter and seems to enjoy her petting. Just such a sweet sweet snowshoe girl.
9?22/15 6 months already Wow. Rosie is a great girl. Super sweet and gentle. Love love loves to be petted. If you forget she will tell you all about it! She has made herself right at home. She comes downstairs quite a bit now just to see what's going on. She likes looking out the window or the sliding glass door. She is such a cutie! Yep she is HOME and she knows it.
3/30/16 Its with great sadness that we lost Rosie today. We will miss her. She was the sweetest little girl. Tears.

We have feel in love with Nowell aka Chardonnay. It's a breath of fresh air to have a five (5) year old feline in the house who loves her toys.

Her 15 year old sister tries to put her in her place for love & affection. Nowell holds her ground and is equally a contender for Mom & Dad's pets.

We could not image live without our Nowell.
