Mazzie's name has been changed ro Cersei, and Cersei is doing very well. We took her to the vets last week because she had the sniffles. She's fine now. She's still very timid, but when you dangle a shoelace, she comes running. She has a million toys,and the shoelace is her favorite toy. She stays mostly in Nicholas's room, but when I go upstairs I open his door and she comes out to explore. She's very curious. We both love to sit and hold and pet her. Although she hides a lot under Nicholas'Sparks bed, she doesn't fight us when we get her out. I'll try to send a picture, but it's a little grainy, and I'm not great with this tablet. That's all for now and thanks again for everyone's help. - Katie and Nicholas Zaleski Cersei continues to open up. When she runs from me, sometimes she stops and look at me like she wants me to chase her. I don't know if cats do that, but that's what it seems like. When she wants to play, and you're trying to pet her, the claws come out. She's not bad at clawing at all. And the shoelace is still her favorite toy.

Mimi is a sweetie! She was affectionate from the beginning, although she unthawed at her own rate: she immediately took to sleeping on my bed, but only at the foot, and she would let me hug her, but lean so far away from me that she would fall over if I let go. Now she snuggles up to me while she sleeps, she gives me affectionate head butts, and she follows me around the house like a puppy. I love her wonderful meezer voice! She is very good with the new kitty, Bennet. What a great girl!

I was hit by a car and taken care of by the shelter. Right now my jaw is wired and I'm recovering, so I'm just going to chill out here for a bit. I'm a bit upset by all the changes and need time to settle down and feel better.

Samantha is no Nomee, named after my last Siamese who we nicknamed Nellie.
Last night, she slept on my chest for awhile, nuzzled against me and licked my face! I have never had a cat be that affectionate. Now, she's still quite independent in the day and doesn't let me hold her for long but this is a huge improvement over our first meeting where she hiss then swatted me leaving a mark over my left eye!
She's more mischievous then my last two Siamese She's already broken a candle and swatted a small glass vase off the windowsill. I wish she'd play like that with her toys!

Mya (Sugar) is doing great! She has adapted well to a new canine sister (Willow) and the passing of her brother Kipper VA5450 in early Nov. Although she and Willow will never be the best of friends she does a great job tolerating her. We want to thank you again for such a great girl :-)

Kip Kip has been such a joy and a love to us but unfortunately due to an over active thyroid and renal failure had to be put down 11/09/16. I can not explain the love we had for our boy and the sassiness that he brought to our house. I was very concerned bringing a newborn home in 2009 having 2 cats and what that would bring. Sophie and Kipper became very best friends. She would suck on his tail and on his nose and he loved it always coming back for more. He was a very vocal guy and always let us know his thoughts. He will be truly missed. Thank you for matching us with such a great guy.

WIGGLER
Well after weeks of tests and exams turns out I am just going to be a chronic stuffy kitty. Seems that cold I had like forever, did damaged to my nasal cavity and I will always look like I am on the verge of having a cold and I might even snore (or so says foster mom). But other than that, I am still a healthy guy who loves to play, play play. And speaking of that, I must have a play buddy to go home to. I get very bored when I don't have a buddy and can be a bit annoying to the humans.
So get those earplugs (for the snoring) and ask about me.

Notes from Home
Wiggles has been in for his check-up and while a little chunky is in good health. He and Dropshot run the entire house twice a day, so it's not like he doesn't get any exercise. They both enjoy it, too. He still likes to sleep in his food bowl, which puzzles the others, and loves to help scoop the boxes (by using them while they are being scooped). Just a great cat, very loving and pretty sure he owns the world. He does own our hearts, that's for sure.

1/31/17 Xiao Hua has been with us for over 8 months now and is so adored by everyone here. Her big sister, Maverick, loves a good cuddle with her little sister, especially now that the two of them have convinced us that they have to sleep in the bed with mom and dad every night. (She now lets us sleep through the night! lol) Xiao is quite the little trouble maker, but we still love her. She has also recently discovered her voice and is very adamant that her bowl never be half empty!
5/21/16-Xiao Hua settled into her new home with us very quickly and just demanded attention all the time! Poor thing had on and off diarrhea while she was with her foster, Kay, but while talking with Kay on pick up we decided to try a grain-free diet on her(her big sister Maverick had similar symptoms) and voila! All better! She's also probably gained about a pound in just the two weeks that we have had her. Poor thing, it sounds like she had come from a very bad situation. She is so curious and playful and we just love her so much already. If only she would let mom and dad sleep past 4 am lol!

APollo (Leo) is doing great , he's such a sweetheart and is a big part of our lives. He has gotten so dark you wouldn't recognize him. Healthy happy boy is what he is. His yearly appt was just last week and he is doing great. We love him so much, we always say we should have named him Eeyore he doesn't have a care in the world.
