Well, there's good news and there's bad news:

The bad news is that I'm a seal point Diva so.......
I'll need a home with an experienced Siamese owner;
No children or active noisy homes;
My new home should be no more than 2 hours away from my foster
home, as I don't care to travel;
I really don't like other cats, but we might be able to negotiate this;and
I'm bossy and a bit demanding.

The good news is that I'm a seal point Diva so......

I love to be near you and follow you around; sometimes I get under
foot so you'll need to be steady on your feet;
I want to be the center of attention;
I like to chat and purr;
I love to be held, snuggled and cuddled;
I love to sit in your lap;
I love to be brushed and pet, especially my face and ears;
I'm curious and playful, wand toys preferred, no balls please;
I have my own bed, but I like to sit on yours too, especially if you are
in it, and by the way I need lots of room;
I have a serious affection for men.

Is there anything else that you need to know? Click on me and chat with foster mom, she'll fill you in.

PS - did you happen to notice that I am drop-dead gorgeous?

Notes from Home
Hi...
Name should be changed to Sammie.
All is well.
She is still into everything and VERY affectionate and MORE THAN SMART.
She loves to chase and fetch a ball and bring it back for another throw/catch... over and over again! (part dog, I think).
She charms everyone she meets.
Growing, a lot.
Tried to upload a couple of pics... but got a message saying that records show that I am not the adoptor... will try again... but may be a glitch!
Hope all are well!

So hard to believe that it has been 8 years since I adopted Sammie (on my Father's birthday).
She will be 9 on August 10th (coincidently, the anniversary of my Father's passing).
Not sure if there is meaning there... But, Sammie and I have been a match.

Notes from Home
It has been two weeks since we have taken Jesse home. He is a complete joy! At night he sleeps in bed with us and Samson, our dog. During the day I notice him and Sam snuggled up napping. No longer does his heated bed appeal to him. Twice a day he eats 1/3 cup of food and drinks water throughout the day. He really likes covering up in this litter box. In the mornings he and Sam walk down the hall to the kitchen from the bedroom together. It is so cute! Jesse is a busy, busy guy. He will sit in my lap a little and then remember he has a ball or toy that needs flung up in the air. When he does sit on my lap he stretches his front paws to touch my hubby. He loves to be brushed and petted. When I quit petting him, he grabs my hand with both paws and puts it in his mouth. He doesn't bite, just holds it a minute and then licks like crazy. We can't believe he has only been here two weeks. He has fit in perfectly. Jesse was sweet to our 11 year old grandgirls and even licked on them. He head butts and lives on Samson, too. I think he just might be the perfect cat and might be saying Mama! Thank you for sending him to me.
One month: Things are going fantastic. Jesse is a jewel. He and Samson now play tag and sound like a herd of wild horses running through the house. They sleep together, eat side by side, and Jesse sits at the door while the dog runs outside for a potty break. He has learned to back up (reverse) from the door when Sam comes in. Jesse is such a smart boy. He is a beautiful, affectionate, playful, loving, high spirited Siamese who talks to me and believes I understand. It hardly took any transition time for this purrfect guy to fit right into our little family. If I had not listened to JoAnn, I would not have waited for the purrfect match. She is a blessing and Michelle took such good care of Jesse before he came home. Both ladies were so patient with me. Thank you for my sweet boy, Jesse!

Snicker is doing very well. He and Melan are inseperable. He is the most lovable kitten I have ever had.
He get on my lap and snuggles with me every evening and the bathroom has become the family roon because he is on my lap every time.He meets no stranger and when Melan is around I am not needed unless she slaps him and then he comes running up tp me.
I never thought 2 cats could become soo bonded so much.
I;TRY TO SEND A PICTURE AS SOON AS I CAN GET HIM AWAY FROM MELAN. They have such a bust life I may have to make an appointment.
Thanks for everything. I just love the pair of them.
Snickers just loves my son and goes to him ever tine he comes..

FUZZY
Looking for a lap cat? I'm your guy! I'm a great big bundle of handsome snuggles just waiting to happen! I'm also the king of head bumps. Once we got it established that I am the most important member of the household, I decided to get along with the dog, although I'm not particularly fond of other cats. I come to my name, and like to talk with you--I'm just an all-around Prince Charming.
Added bonus: I like to be picked up and carried, and I'm so heavy (14+ pounds!) you'll get a great workout from lifting me!

Fuzzy is doing wonderfully in his new forever home! He has really come into his own and I can tell he feels at home here. He loves being picked up and petted. In fact, he is quite smart at knowing exactly how to get that from both me and my husband. For me, he just comes to me and lifts up one paw, for my husband, as he knows he doesn't like picking Fuzzy up, he throws himself to the floor and rolls on his back to be petted. He is a mature fellow, so he likes to relax most of the time, but I can find him in the mood every now and then to play with his feather toys. He loves to jump on his cat tree in the morning and enjoy the sun. He also has found his favorite place to curl up in his bed by the heater!

ANNIE
I'm an older lady down on my luck. Kitties should never have to find out what the word "evicted" means. I lived in the car for a while with my human mom and the rest of her cats and little dogs, but she realized that she couldn't take care of us this way. So here I am in rescue. I'm kind of scared right now with all that has happened, but I'm a lovely and sweet older lady looking for a permanent home for the rest of my life. I've lived with lots of other cats and three little dogs, so probably I'll fit in at your house. The new pictures of me were taken at the vet - you can see that I like to explore. I liked the vet and the vet tech too - until they started my exam. Foster momma says I'm not the only cat that doesn't like the vet. Was most happy once my exam was done though! My senior bloodwork was good for a girl my age, ask foster mom and she can send you a copy. I've started to meet the other kitties here, and they don't bother me at all. I'm too busy checking out all the beds to be concerned with them.

Annie (fka Miko) has been home a little over a week. She is quite a character and a loving geezer girl. We are so very thrilled to have her. She has met her new sibs and does not take any crap from them LOL. She even seems to know her new name. She loves attention and sleeps with us. I can carry her around and she does great. Thanks you to Jackie C and Siamese Rescue for letting me adopt such a wonderful cat.
5/5/14
Annie continues to do well. She is not a pushover with her sibs. She seems happy to be here and is eating well. She comes to greet me when I come home from work. We love our new geezer girl
5/19/14
Wow one month already. Annie has made herself right at home here. She is a great cat and needs to with around us all the time. She is quite a feisty gal and doesn't take any crap from her siblings. She has begun to play with a big catnip duck and discovered the tunnel toy too. Needless to say we love her to pieces. Geezers rule!
10/19/14
Wow has 6 month's flown by. Annie is very much at home here. She is the Queen Bee and rules with declawed paws. She needs to be near us and yells for her Daddy to carry her around on his shoulder every morning. We love love love our geezer girl.
4/19/15 Wow 1 year has flown by. Annie is doing great. She had her blood work and rabies last week and Dr Heather says she is doing well. She continues to be such a loving girl. She very much at home here and rules when necessary. Yes we love love love our geezer girl and she loves us too.
4/21/16 Its hard to believe we have had this geezer girl 2 years. She is doing well. Had a scare with her at Christmas time but all her blood work looked good. She got to travel with us to SC for Christmas and did fantastic. She still rules the roast. My BIL visited last week with his little dog and she just hissed at her and walked away. Just letting her know she is the boss and this is her house. Yes she is very much at home.
4/15/17
Sadly Annie died this past week. She will certainly be missed. She was a wonderful girl. Three years was not enough.

Leo is doing very well. We are currently leash training and he is doing very well at that!. It is a positive experience as he loves the outdoors and cries to go outside and he is a very heavy cat and holding him gets quite tiring. He's not allowed out alone. LOL We are all looking forward to christmas and I think our new Meazer has the most presents already!

He is very nicely settled in and has his routine set and our hearts are stolen.
He loves to jump up and lay in the sink when we are trying to brush our teeth and if you try to run him out he will pop you hand. (No claws though) He is definatly Mr. Personality! He is the Lover Monkey we were looking for and we consider ourselves blessed!
More Picture Coming SOON!

4/24/11
Leo continues to rule the roost. We had a bit of a bumpy journey for a while. He has been afirmativly diagnosed with idiopathic hypercalcemia but with the help of the good and wonderful Dr Jeff (his vet) and all the support, prayers and songs from SCRC he is doing much better. He's even back to chasing his tail which is too funny!

He loves to get up into the front window and say "hello" and if we don't respond hello back he gets ever so much louder. We knew he was a special boy from the start but never did we think he'd be bilingual! LOL

Check out the new pics!

11-17-11
We have reached 1 year on 10-24-11! It was a bit rough at times but now it's all smooth sailing! The final verdict on his health condition is Idiopathic Hypercalcemia. Fancy term for no clear reason for too much calcium in the blood. He is regulated on prednisone and special food and is doing fabulous!
Leo loves to go for walks on his lead and has more toys than should be legally allowable. :) We love him and couldnt imagine a life without our boy! Oh and did I mention he is quite a talker!!! Check out our pics!

1-05-2014
I know it has been a long time since our last update. Leo continues to do fantastic. He take his medication every day and is a very happy Siamese. We have a granddaughter in the house now and she is almost two years old. They both sill don't know what to think of each other. I'm sure on day soon they will be best of friends. In know it doesn't see true but Leo turned 7 years old last September. I know attached some pictures and as you can see he has his favorite placed and still have the toy his foster meowme gave him. Yep, that is still his favorite toy. His next update will be much sooner next time I promise. Leo said thank you for all the purring prayers that he received when he was sick because they really worked! Leo says please see my pictures, I'm still one good looking Kitty!

Allot had happened since my last update. Michelle has moved to Atlanta for work at CSX and has gotten married! We let Leo decide who he wanted to stay with and he is here with Mom and Dad (Mike & Suzie). We moved to Callahan Florida on a very large parcel of land with lots of wild life for Leo to look at as well as a lake. I (Mike) have retired and can stay home every day with Leo and he loves it. We thank God every day for Leo and don't know what we would do without him. He is the most perfect part of out family. They say every adopted Siamese has some baggage but if he does I can't see it. He still have hypercalcemia but is doing very well with it. His last check up was very good. I want to thank everyone again for giving us the gift of Leo. We cherish him everyday.

ELLA
I was found outside all by myself in the cold. So I have a bit of a kitty cold right now. My nose is running and my eyes are a little red but I am taking medicine that is helping me get better. I'm a little overwhelmed right now but I love when foster mom gives me pets, especially on my face:) I really like it when I see the other cats here. I think I might like a nice gentle boy cat to play with in my forever home! Or I could be your one and only too!

Notes from Home
Ella is happily settled in her new home! She is very playful and energetic - there's rarely a time when she's not chasing after a toy of some kind! Ella is a wonderful lap-sitting companion, too, who really loves being pet on the face and brushed all over. Her eating and bathroom habits are excellent! I couldn't have asked for a better cat to join my little family.

Ella has passed away. Despite initial negative tests for FelV, she did indeed have the virus. She passed away March 17, 2017. Please don't send me anymore anniversary reminders - it's too hard to see these emails in my inbox reminding me of how little time I had with my best friend.

CHARLIE
My first meowm rescued me from a tree where dogs chased me and waited for me to come down. She taught me manners and loving but her apartment does not allow pets and she could not keep me. She was sad but she knew Siamese Rescue would find me a very good home. I am showing a sweet personality since I got here and foster mom will be adding coments as she learns about me. One thing for sure, I am going to be a big cat.

PEANUT
I'm Peanut, who my foster mom describes as a really handsome, young adult male snowshoe meezer. I am gentle, well-behaved, people-oriented, laid back fellow, who was given up by loving owners when their marriage failed. In the stress of that, I did have a problem bullying a docile, scaredy cat housemate who started out attacking me until I turned the tables on her, so my first mom felt it was better to separate us since we were setting each other off. Until that started, I was living happily with a few other cats and a dog.

You will see from my photos that my tail is a nubby 1'" long. This was a result of intentional trauma inflicted on me when I was a kitten before being rescued by my human parents. I don't really miss my tail and its loss hasn't caused any problems. Sometimes I'll 'wag' my nubby when I'm really happy.

I really like bing the center of attention and like to always be near my people. I am fine with kids and dogs, and probably with another cat, as long as that cat isn't overly submissive, shy or scared. My foster mom is going to let me meet her 3 cats to see how I get along and we'll see how that goes in the next few days.

I'd love to find an active family with a lot of activities going on that I can 'help' with.

Mom lost the email and has finally figured out how to respond. I am enjoying my new new home. Mom felt I had become such a big boy I needed a big boy name, so my new name is Charlie. Playing with my feather toy with Mom is my favorite pastime. I now have a new big boy bed to accommodate my long body. It fits me perfectly. As the weather has gotten warmer I am enjoying sunning myself an watching the birds outside. Life is good.
Thanks to everyone for making my new home possible.
