Bunny is doing great! She is cuddly and lovable and the Queen oft the house!
Bunny has been in her forever home one week today! We love her sweet, mellow squeezable meezer self! She is adjusting well to her companion Zell and three canine friends! Bunny sleeps on our bed and comes up for lovings when we wake up!
Almost three weeks now since Bunny became our new love. She has made her place with her lover Zelly, they sleep on our bed near each other. It won't be long before they are snuggling!

Notes from Home
Leo is doing very well. We are currently leash training and he is doing very well at that!. It is a positive experience as he loves the outdoors and cries to go outside and he is a very heavy cat and holding him gets quite tiring. He's not allowed out alone. LOL We are all looking forward to christmas and I think our new Meazer has the most presents already!
He is very nicely settled in and has his routine set and our hearts are stolen.
He loves to jump up and lay in the sink when we are trying to brush our teeth and if you try to run him out he will pop you hand. (No claws though) He is definatly Mr. Personality! He is the Lover Monkey we were looking for and we consider ourselves blessed!
More Picture Coming SOON!

Leo continues to rule the roost. We had a bit of a bumpy journey for a while. He has been afirmativly diagnosed with idiopathic hypercalcemia but with the help of the good and wonderful Dr Jeff (his vet) and all the support, prayers and songs from SCRC he is doing much better. He's even back to chasing his tail which is too funny!
He loves to get up into the front window and say "hello" and if we don't respond hello back he gets ever so much louder. We knew he was a special boy from the start but never did we think he'd be bilingual! LOL
Check out the new pics!
11-17-11
We have reached 1 year on 10-24-11! It was a bit rough at times but now it's all smooth sailing! The final verdict on his health condition is Idiopathic Hypercalcemia. Fancy term for no clear reason for too much calcium in the blood. He is regulated on prednisone and special food and is doing fabulous!
Leo loves to go for walks on his lead and has more toys than should be legally allowable. :) We love him and couldnt imagine a life without our boy! Oh and did I mention he is quite a talker!!! Check out our pics!

I know it has been a long time since our last update. Leo continues to do fantastic. He take his medication every day and is a very happy Siamese. We have a granddaughter in the house now and she is almost two years old. They both sill don't know what to think of each other. I'm sure on day soon they will be best of friends. In know it doesn't see true but Leo turned 7 years old last September. I know attached some pictures and as you can see he has his favorite placed and still have the toy his foster meowme gave him. Yep, that is still his favorite toy. His next update will be much sooner next time I promise. Leo said thank you for all the purring prayers that he received when he was sick because they really worked! Leo says please see my pictures, I'm still one good looking Kitty!
Allot had happened since my last update. Michelle has moved to Atlanta for work at CSX and has gotten married! We let Leo decide who he wanted to stay with and he is here with Mom and Dad (Mike & Suzie). We moved to Callahan Florida on a very large parcel of land with lots of wild life for Leo to look at as well as a lake. I (Mike) have retired and can stay home every day with Leo and he loves it. We thank God every day for Leo and don't know what we would do without him. He is the most perfect part of out family. They say every adopted Siamese has some baggage but if he does I can't see it. He still have hypercalcemia but is doing very well with it. His last check up was very good. I want to thank everyone again for giving us the gift of Leo. We cherish him everyday.

PEANUT
I'm Peanut, who my foster mom describes as a really handsome, young adult male snowshoe meezer. I am gentle, well-behaved, people-oriented, laid back fellow, who was given up by loving owners when their marriage failed. In the stress of that, I did have a problem bullying a docile, scaredy cat housemate who started out attacking me until I turned the tables on her, so my first mom felt it was better to separate us since we were setting each other off. Until that started, I was living happily with a few other cats and a dog.
You will see from my photos that my tail is a nubby 1'" long. This was a result of intentional trauma inflicted on me when I was a kitten before being rescued by my human parents. I don't really miss my tail and its loss hasn't caused any problems. Sometimes I'll 'wag' my nubby when I'm really happy.
I really like bing the center of attention and like to always be near my people. I am fine with kids and dogs, and probably with another cat, as long as that cat isn't overly submissive, shy or scared. My foster mom is going to let me meet her 3 cats to see how I get along and we'll see how that goes in the next few days.
I'd love to find an active family with a lot of activities going on that I can 'help' with.

Notes from Home
Mom lost the email and has finally figured out how to respond. I am enjoying my new new home. Mom felt I had become such a big boy I needed a big boy name, so my new name is Charlie. Playing with my feather toy with Mom is my favorite pastime. I now have a new big boy bed to accommodate my long body. It fits me perfectly. As the weather has gotten warmer I am enjoying sunning myself an watching the birds outside. Life is good.
Thanks to everyone for making my new home possible.

MON CHERIE
Woohooo! I did great at today's vet exam, I was pronounced young, and fun, and loving, and energetic, and wild and crazy, and of course beautiful! I am a very chatty Cathy with an energetic streak and a love of snuggling, playing, climbing, and being Siamese! I'm interested in other cats; if I'm the only cat then you'd better have lots of time for me because I'm going to demand it!

Notes from Home
Mon Cherie is the Penelope Pussycat with tha Pepe LePew cartoon. And, she sure fits this role.
She is now the only female among 3 male Siamese in my home. She manages the men well. At one time or another, I will find her cuddling with one of the males. She ensures they are well-groomed. She has become the woman of the home.
She's a over-zealous head-butter.. She will only stop with a petting. The moment I pull my hand away, the head-butting starts all over again. Iff I need a break, i have to hide my hands, which does confuse her.
My one concern for her is that she remains skittish after all these years. Her prior home must have had some abuse. If I move too quickly, she runs in fear. Her home life here is calm. Yet, fear is deep within her.
She is truly one of the most beautiful Siamese I have ever seen. Petite and perfect coloring.

COCOA
Hi. I just got here so Foster Mom will work on some pics of me. You should know that I am a stunner - I could model if I wanted to. I am a good girl - my Mom had to go somewhere that would not let me come too. So here I am. I am very sweet and really love to get love. I already found this really cool thing called a Millie bed - super comfy! I want to have someone who will love me and let me sit in their lap and sleep with them. Foster mom says I am a super sweet girl with lots of love to give.

Notes from Home
Cocoa is the sweetest cat in the world! Her two favourite things are to get in front of my monitor so I can't see and to be brushed. She really loves to be brushed!
Cocoa has been here a month now. She and my cat Evie are still having some issues. No fights but Cocoa sticks to "her" room even though both doors are open when I'm home. No fights just the occasional hiss. Cocoa continues to be the sweetest most affectionate cat and loves to be brushed and to stretch out on my lap. My vet wanted her to gain a bit of weight and thought that sore gums were preventing her from eating enough dry food so she is now getting an entire can of wet food morning and evening. She is totally loving that! Debra was right about the "elevator butt"...it's amazing how high she can get it! Hopefully in the next few weeks she will venture out a bit. My vet said to take it super slow so that's what I'm doing.

SWEETIE
Hi,
I was rescued from a neglectful situation and after a legal hold for what seemed like forever, I found my way to Siamese Cat Rescue.
I'm a vocal, loving gal, with a good appetite and a great litter box habits. I've never been to a vet, so I need to get all my vetting done before I can go home, which should be around the first week of November. I did live with a boy cat, so another cat in the home would probably be ok. I'll let you know that for sure once my isolation time is up and I can meet the other kitties here.
Purrs,
Sweetie

Sweetie is doing well, exploring everywhere in the house. She loves sitting in her cat tree watching the birds in the yard. She is very loving & enjoys sitting & playing with us. Seems as if she has always been here with us.
Sweetie loves playing in her tunnel down in the basement & will even request that it be brought out so she can play in it. She has a little ball she loves to chase through it!

STELLA
Whaaaatttttt page 2?!?!? ME?? Really!
I have been through ISO and was semi integrated then had to have my education and another 10 days of ISO to recover. NOW, I'm running around the house with the residents, I do like that, but I always make time to come and snuggle with Meowmy in the evening after dinner.
So, if you are looking for a purrrrrfect soul mate kitty in a quiet home (some noises still make me jump) .... ask about ME.

Foster Notes for Lexie [VA9041] |
This is a truly perfect kittie. Once she knows you, she is loving and will suckle on my fleece, yet still independent when she wants to be. Lexie doesn't like being confined so I would like her to stay within her transport area. She has come a long way and is a totally wonderful fun girl. |

Notes from Home
Stella's younger brother is just that! He is the little brother that sneaks into your room, reads your diary, and messes with your makeup. He is constantly torturing Stella and she hisses at him and pops him in the head. This was worrisome at first, but I have begun to recognize it as little annoying brother picking on older sister. Started having trouble with her pooping beside the litter box... I have a tried many things and I have learned that she is litter box picky, with me cleaning it out at least three times a day, along with Stanley trying to sneak up and attack her while she is pooping. I do plan to get a second litter box for my tiny apartment :( but I am not yet sure if this will fully fix the problem.
Stella had her first check-up appointment with my Veterinarian about a week and a half ago, and she said that Stella was very healthy and gorgeous.
Still trying to get photographic evidence that the snuggle together when they sleep. I think I am going to need to set up stealth, night detection cameras :)
Update 4/8/2017: well sweet Stella who wasn't a big fan of other creatures now lives with two dogs, two other cats (Stanley and Wilbur), and a snake. She is a healthy, happy girl who rules the house and tolerates all of her subjects. She is certainly female and certainly siamese!

LOLA
I am simply beautiful if I do say so myself. I am an expert lover and might even ride on your shoulder if you like that kind of thing. I do have penchant for escaping to the great outdoors. My dogs and people have always gone out, and there are great things to hunt so why shouldn't I?

Lola is the absolute love of our life!!! What a treasure she truly is. She is the most lovable and playful kitten there is at the young age of 10. Monday mornings are so much more of a bear now leaving her after being able to snuggle Saturday and Sunday mornings with her after my husband gets up. After only 6 short months she really is a bright, shiny light in our lives. Thank you SCR for allowing her to pick us!
